All things worked? have you continued dev it when it's perfect?
Please fix the link

download link not working

nice

Awesome been waiting for this but have few queries - did you source built it?, if so, wgere did you find deatharrow's sources from also why wouldn't 2g work if 3g does?
Great work though, just a bit curious

This smells fishy. The first screenshot is not our res, the second is too small and the third is taken from the original thread. All of this + that the download link doesn't actually work. Again, fishy.

lol

Sorry but the I can't upload anything to google drive's server (I don't know why maybe is my internet connection.....):banghead:
Yes we'll continue the develop, we have just started, In the next days we will fix more things... Please, don't copy this ROM, without our written permission, and don't change the names of the developers, we have worked very hard, (<-he is sleeping with the sunglasses) so we fixed some thing, now the most important bug is the bluethoot, the 2g don't work (only with wind, an Italian mobile operator, 2g works well), and you can't use the WiFi with the 3g turn on....
I hope that these bug are fixed easily....
For now, we don't want any tester or developers, that want to help us (I can't tell you why). We're in 3, we're Italian, and we have worked to made the cyanoid ROM (e400), and from some weeks we've worked on the cm10. Please don't ask the zip now, if the Google's server return working I'll upload the ROM, but I don't know when we're going to relase . I hope that this post have clarify your doubts.
We don't ask you to donate, or we don't want thanks, but I ask you only 3 thing.. OK?
Hope
Pray for us
Wait
Don't spam this therad....
PS (I want to tell you that I'm not THE developer, but I'm ONE of the 3 developers, but one of us isn't on xda...)
We're working hard can because we want to say to lg: watch your phones, and what can they do....

Well good to hear that its not for thanks/donations btw some light on how you actually managed to fix i mean what patches used if it were source built and kernel sources if any changes were made would help us understand stuff better and who knows maybe others could fix bugs you can't. You don't need to take anyone into your team or give permissions for others to tamper your work but least you can shed some insights on what was actually done since this is an aosp rom

Thanks for your appreciation, but if you see another cm 10 ROM, it's the ours or it's a fake, because we have seen someone downloading a zip that we were sharing together, (we use goo.gl and mediafire and we know what happened to our files, because we see how many people have used that link).... ,maybe someone have used filecrop.com and searching cm 10 e400 or something else it have download it. The ip is american.. But we don't knows what's happened, maybe anything.. we're human and we like the Linux's philosophy helps together to be perfect (but for now the Dev team isn't open to anyone for some serious reasons)

[BUILD] [DISCONTINUED] [darkstone HD2Froyo V3] [kernel: darkstone]

Hi everyone, I'd like to let everyone know that I will no longer be updating my builds.
This is mainly due to the lack of time and that I have a lot of work for university to do.
I'd like to thank everyone who donated to me, I have sent an email to each and every one of you
I'd like to thank everyone who supported me throughout the last few months and I'd like to thank everyone at #htc-linux & #htc-linux-chat for their help and for being awsome!
Once again, many thanks!
Welcome to HD2Froyo!
I've finally got down to updating this build, let's get down to business...
What the build looks like:

Readme:
HTC Desire NON-SENSE build (HD2Froyo V3) (Based on DeFrost by richardtrip, source: http://github.com/richardtrip/) for HTC HD2 by darkstone on 26/10/2010:
My goal is to make a build that is close to stock as possible, but also has everything working. I'm getting there
Everything should be working, should be fast. Very fast.
Changelog for V3:
Updated lib_htcril_wrapper & htcleo.acdb
Some performance tweaks
Dropped Passion base and changed to AOSP+Cyanogenmod build base
Theme-less
Uses PPP (sorry rmnet folk, rmnet doesn't appear to be functioning correctly in the EVO kernel)
If you have issues with data/PPP, look here for support: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=794309
Updated kernel to latest EVO commit on 25/10/2010 from here: http://www.gitorious.com/linux-on-w...mmit/dbd408efab87c018ab9c2e35fee672a97446852c
Kernel compiled by darkstone, no changes made to source, use the source above ^
Notes:
Make sure to reboot after first boot, apps needing root access won't work. Phone calls will have no audio. Make sure you reboot!
This build can not be used to upgrade previous versions of HD2Froyo, you must start fresh. Use titanium backup to backup your current settings.
Creates a 1GB data.img if there is no data.img present. I have included a clean 1GB data.img for a quick first boot.
Don't worry about FB console not showing, that's normal
// Copy the Android and the media folder to the root of your SD card, run CLRCAD.EXE and haret.exe on your HD2 //
Kernel Tree: http://www.gitorious.com/linux-on-wince-htc/linux_on_wince_htc
If you want to update the kernel, I would recommend kernel builds by hastarin which has tweaks. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=787588
Just want to point out that the HTC Desire is closest in terms of hardware to our HD2, that's why I prefer cooking a Desire build and that's why I will always choose Desire based builds over EVO and Desire HD builds.
Thanks to everyone at #htc-linux and #htc-linux-chat !

This is good news. For those who have downloaded this build, kindly post a mirror. thanks
Thx man !!! I'll give th feed back soon ^^
I have been testing it out for a while. The only thing I am having a problem is that incoming calls are distorted on the hd2's end but not on the other persons end. I followed the instruction and tried it a couple times. Any idea's?? Thanks

USB data is working, I haven't tested Bluetooth Audio
This build is awesome. Far superior to the Desire build or the other Froyo builds. Stable and very snappy. Great work! Once we get GPS this can be my full-time os.
Sent from Android on my HD2 via the XDA app
Nice
Super snappy built compared to the v5, this is running from a class 2 card.
I did have a sort of freeze after taking a picture and then going to view it and delete it. it froze for like 30 seconds was about to reset when I got the android boot screen and it came right back.
update and also just got the sleep of death
Great work Darkstone!
Only problem is that i get in to turbo mode all the time..
And it keeps on telling me that system has stopped working.
And also button lights never goes in to sleep.
I'll try formatting my sd card and move over everything again.
Edit:
Formatted my Sd card and moved all files over again.
No more turbo mode and msg about system crash.
Will try out and give a conclusion.
Cheers!
I just realized that both dan and darkstone latest release are using cotulla 23 july instead of 25th one..
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
You are god! lol i love this build. its the best one yet. smooth and snappy, better then your desire rom. Big up's man keep up the FANTASTIC WORK!
The newest zimage crashes some ppl so he didn't use that one.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
i am very happy with this build i have nothing bad to say at all considering where the whole development started and to where it is now ....i can only imagine whats ahead
Anyway.. is there any mirror for this built? Since i couldnt download from torrent..

All I have to say is WOW! This Froyo. Build from the 25th is freaking awesome! My HD 2 is purring with this on here! NO HICK UPS. OR FREEZES YET FOR OVER THE PAST 2 HOURS! This is fun. Great work and keep it up!

* Illustrative images, the ROM is not coming with any paid apps on the screen like Root Explorer and Shoot Me, you can find them in your Market avaliable to purchase.
Fixed
- MUICamera
- Wifi (i guess, cant test this)
- Camera upgrade
Working:
Network
Data
WiFi
GPS
Camera
- 8mp Photo's
- 720p video recoder with AAC audio
MIUI Themes
and alot more... you'll see that this version is the state of the art of my roms!
Some notes:
- This has no unified baseband because that fails the camera and wifi connectivity. (work in progress)
- Bluetooth is not working at the moment for strange reasons that causing a lot of errors and i mean really a lot (work in progress)
- Linpack score is arround 34k / 35k (this will go much higher)
- Quadrant score is about 1400, last time i had even 1533 so it needs some tweaking
Because of many members said its better to work on one rom at the time then a couple of roms, i choose to pause my other roms and finish this one first. As a result...
...this release is a pre-final.
After i have been very very very busy for the past weeks, hope thats over and i can be an active member again. Dont worry unified baseband version is coming!
This version is for .49 (stil the best i think ;-) )

FIX1:
Only use this fix if you downloaded the rom and /sdcard is not working only /mnt/sdcard
http://www.mediafire.com/?ggg7gkrip8qukwa
just 1 version for all the xperia-x10 phones thanks for helping me with this
Let me know what you think and have fun!
TEST VERSION OF UNIFIED BASEBAND, DO NOT USE IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! THANKYOU!
http://www.mediafire.com/?dtg882eddzuhg1h
NOTE about camera: if you use 720P make sure you have a fast SD-Card or wait a few seconds before closing the camera app after recording movies, because of the filesize i had only a few seconds recorded and i got an movie of 18mb
Let me know what you think and have fun! Mirrors still uploading.

Yes its been way to long ago, very sorry for that. Think i'll be an active member again. Hope you like the rom tough.
Edit:
Camera was a *** pain in the ass i tell you, that was really a killer i nearly quited on that one. It just wouldnt work on MIUI. Had to completely rebuild the rom from scratch therefore i needed to release a full rom instead of an update. BUT The result is a bugfree rom for all of the functions implemented. So i'm proud on this baby i can tell you that
Dude welcome back.Glad to see you again man.As always with new stuff,

Just got her phone set up on new MIUI and we are both on Base Band 52, ( 46, 49, 52, are very similar...BUT NOT 54, 55, 58...) so far she is on android market, face book and zedge downloading, one reboot, got service, usual dev tools, crash system server on bad behavior, so far so good. Radio up, internet up, sum new settings on this version toooo!!! New launcher, Hmmm!!! HTC PORT from the phone info!! DSP manager, tons of new stuff in this one!!! Music player works!!! We be jammin!!
WE DID NOT do the advance restore in xrecovery for her stuff, enuff of her apps are on her sd card that we just kept it clean and simple!!
Great job Trip!!! Thank you! AGAIN!!
Chris
P.S......CAMERA WORKS....................
P.P.S. Rebooted several times trying to down load from market, booted into xrecovery re-wiped everything again, did advanced restore, rebooted, market, facebook, both came up ok, BUT, after restore there are colored lines in the camera that werent there on initital start up.
I would say NOT to do advanced restore for now, clean install is the way to go!!
Welcome back trip. Was waiting for an update for the firmware.
Will test and let you know about any bugs.

HD is for the x10's that came with 2.1 firmware factory, sum say HD on the back of the battery case, partition set up is different than regular x10.... HIGH DEF VIDEO RECORDING from the 2.1 software.
Just set up MIUI on my phone, testing away!! CLEAN INSTALL NO RESTORE....
thank you so much looks awsome downloading it and i have x10i but i dont see if it is HD or not no marking on the battery or cover how can i check this and i have baseband version 54 can i use this or do i have to flash my baseband?

Hate the new market?

If you're like me and really don't care for the new market I thought I'd share this tip.open terminal emulator and type
Su
pm disable com.android.vending. updater
and NO more market updating itself .If you already got the update go to applications-manage-all-market-uninstall updates and boom back to the old.

I hate the new market too. When you complete the first part it said [1] killed in terminal. Does that means it done right.
Gonna give this a go myself.
I "hate " the new market!
It's functional, but really quite unfriendly for me to use.
thank you for the terminal trick! ....g
Edit ...
I just completed the terminal operation, and my old market is working perfectly...
(Thank you button pushed )......g
It was working for me until I enabled background data/sync.

Pretty much my feelings exactly. It's got a wp7 look to me and if I wanted that I wouldn't have an android. After five minutes of playing with the new market I proceeded to educate myself on how to get rid of it.Then shared that knowledge here. That's the true beauty of android, FREEDOM to make it YOUR phone and not what someone else thinks it should be.long live the aosp and xda!

How do I get the market updater re-enabled? Just change disable to enable? I tried that and never saw it update to the new market through several reboots. Only reason I ask is I want to post this on the infuse forum but want to make sure it can be undone. I WILL give credit where credit is due. Will this also turn off automatic updates of apps? Will it still check for app updates when you go into the market?
Thanks for this tip. I love it. Recently switched from an Aria to a Samsung Infuse but I still like frequenting these forums.

Sometimes dev's actually check out our threads, or sometimes we have a good relationship with a dev or two. These bleeding-edge builds will have issues, and having good information on what's broken is great feedback before a feature is merged. Here are some good bug reporting tips:
* No bug reports while using custom kernels or add-ons:
CyangenMod's own bug reporting tool does not accept bug reports from people using non-stock kernels for a reason, so why should we? CM can merge changes to their kernel causing custom kernels to break things until they catch up. Therefore, please do not post any bug reports while using a custom kernel or add-on such as Xposed Framework. Post your issues with custom kernels in their own respective threads as they are the ones who need to play catch up. Any bug report posted in this thread should be while running CM's stock framework and kernel, as this prevents unnecessary clutter.
* Gapps are not a CM issue:
CyanogenMod is built to run without the assistance of Google's proprietary apps (gapps). Having issues with your Google account and syncing is a gapps issue, not a CM issue. Please do not post about any gapps related issues, just wipe data and try a different gapps package.
* Posting about the same bug every build:
Beating a dead horse with "bug X still isn't fixed" posts just adds unnecessary clutter and provides no help into actually fixing the issue. Some bugs take days to squash, some take weeks. Please don't report the same bug every time a build is uploaded.
* Logs:
Provide logcats when applicable. Use a service like Pastebin and put a link to the log in the post. Please do not post logs directly to the forum.
If these requests are too demanding, there's good news! CyanogenMod is open source, so please feel free to download the source code, compile your own builds volunteering your time and resources, then start a thread and run it however you see fit. All we simply ask is that people post good, reliable information that can be passed on to a developer that can actually do something with it, making CM a better product for everyone involved.

Glad to do it :highfive:
Lol, this is great. If you go look at the Jellybro thread over at rootzwiki, I'm the only one that has ever left a reply. It was getting lonely over there!

Can't wait to see where things go once cm starts merging all of the Google addition stuff. Thinking about flashing a Google edition ROM from the international forum just to check it out. Especially interested in the camera. Have you checked any out yet, gearhead?

I've not heard anyone say it doesn't. have you tried it?

I've been browsing around, has anyone seen a fix for wallet on cm for our device? I know there was one for sense but I would assume it will not work on cm based roms unless I am mistaken

It works as long as you haven't flashed a stock sense 4.2.2 ROM, or at least that is what I've read. It works for me.

I haven't seen anything yet, but you'd have to assume it's working in the Google edition, so cm can't be too far off, right?

I flashed cm after I bought this phone. It was in 4.1.2. NFC doesn't work for me.
Anyone seen a good fix for Wallet?

vey good. now improved a lot.
except this.
You can't post battery stats with less than a day use of rom, have some respect for the Developer, the Rom is not fully stable yet and a lot of kinks need to be worked out, if you want a stable rom, go for a nougat rom, if you want to Oreo, be happy with what you are getting at this stage and stop whining
Thanks to Frankie for this excellent work!
Everything works very good - GBoard as well.
I only have one question: I want to decompile the SystemUI.apk to translate the settings (String) to german.
apktool.jar (2.2.4) doesn't work - smali folder won't extract so recompiling doesn't work as well.
Does someone know how to decompile/recompile the system apps from this ROM?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not posting about overall battery life. It's a kernel wakelock problem, it's not going to go away on its own. It's a bug that the dev may or may not know about. He wouldn't have made a thread if he didn't want bug reports. So quit YOUR whining

I believe I found a bug. When setting up hotspot, 2.4GHz works just fine. When setting up 5GHz, I get error when turning on hotspot. See screenshot.
If I need to provide more info, please share.. I am on Verizon latest radio and bootloader, latest TWRP. Flashed ROM, BusyBox, and Magisk.
EDIT: I understand the ROM is new and appreciate the hard work if the developer. Helping out best I can.

Thanks for reporting the bug. Im not sure why people think that's frowned upon in a developnent thread....

It's all about context and tone. Some "bug reports" come across as entitled whining, or outright complaints with no respect for the developer or the work that's been invested.
For anyone looking for busybox, this is a direct link on XDA. https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4252596&d=1503713259 It covers Busybox version 1.2.7 and is Magisk 14 compatible.
Here's what should be done for all you noobs. If there is a bug and u want to report it, attach a logcat. Otherwise how will they see the error being replicated?
I will capture a logcat of the 5 GHz wifi when I get home.
i was able to solve the BT battery problem by disabling instant tethering under settings ->google->instant tenthering

I do believe the OP said to clean flash. You can back up and try and if you have issues, go back and do the wipes and clean install. Good luck.
