Bloatware Removal - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Is there anyway to delete all the bloatware on the S4? Thanks

you can use titanium backup pro to freeze all the bloat... or you can root and flash a custom rom that has all the bloatware removed already for you.

Stock firmware or custom ROM

Can any one explain me please what is the difference between rooted stock firmware with all bloatware removed with Titanium back up and custom ROM?
thanks

Why don't you look in one of the custom ROM threads and read its features, maybe you'll find something?
Well we'll well...
Stock rooted firmware bloat removed is an original firmware with root/su so as to allow system changes hence boat removed.
Custom will be "pimped" all speed tweaks / themes etc etc.

[Q] What are some bloatware that can be safely removed using Android Mate?

My phone is Samsung Galaxy Ace, firmware Android 2.3.6 (upgraded from 2.3.4 using Kies).
Phone is rooted. Will install Android Mate.
I don't think it has 'freeze'. Only delete.
Which bloatware can I remove that will not affect the phone's performance?
ThinkOffice
Swype (you can download new and better versions of swype from beta.swype.com)
Desklock
Clockwidget
Memo
Livewallpapers.apk
Forest.apk
Samsung apps (will improve phone's performance to a great extent)
Removing these apps will either improve performance or give more internal space. Depends on the app being removed

[Q] Upgrading firmware

Just a quick question regarding uprgrqsing firmware, I've recently put on the latest XWLPD and went through Titanium Backup, deleted, frozen etc to my personal liking, got phone going smooth as anything with Jkay, NEAK kernel etc, then XWLPF comes out!
I hear the battery is much better, so I want to upgrade it, I have it downloaded, but I can't be bothered going through Titanium Backup to delete, freeze all the bloat and unnecessary crap.
Problem being I didn't write down what I froze/deleted, so I have to work out what to do again as there isn't a safe to remove list for ICS, as there are a few different additions over GB.
If anyone has any advice to make update a little easier, I'm very happy to receive it.
Thank you.

You could always flash a rom which comes slimmed down and free from bloatware?

If its a non-wipe rom of the same base (I.e. Samsung or AOSP), you can just flash straight over the top, I believe Odin does a dalvik wipe automatically, or there is an option in CM recovery.

[Q] Stock rom what can be removed

Hi guys,
I am using EVO 3D with stock 4.0.3 rom, unlocked and rooted and running Titanium backup.
I would like to get rid of some stuff to make space and improve speed in the long run.
What apps could I safely remove from the stock rom using Titanium backup, and which one should I definatly stay on there?

Check the OP's of the "Senseless" ROM's in the development forum and they often list what components have been removed. Sense hasn't been completely removed or they wouldn't work so they are more de-bloated than de-Sensed.
You could start with Team d3rp and SOS M "Senseless" ROM's.

[Q] Cyanogenmod on Galaxy S4? System apps?

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this, because I'm a newbie so I'm sorry if it's not right...
I wanted to know if there is a way, after flashing the CyanogenMod, I can install some Galaxy S4 TouchWiz apps, like the keyboard, or the camera, that I backed up with Titanium Backup? Im just suggesting because I have Titanium Backup but if there is another way I just want to know how
(By the way, are there a lot of app incompatibilities with cyanogenmod? Is the root included on the rom? Can I backup all my current rom as it is, the stock one?)
Thanks!

you need to ask in the thread (CM for your device). Maybe someone create some mods like this.
Thanks
