I have a problem with my headset and new Star x920 phone.My headset is A2DP with AVRCP buttons. There is no problems when screen is swithed on. But when phone has gone sleep and I try to play/pause track noothing happens. If I try to switch to next or previous track it works fine.
I tried to debug this with ADB. I look to logcat output and see that key codes arrives in phone in both modes. But when phone is sleep mode there is no reaction on that key codes.
Also I inspected key layout file /system/usr/keylayout/AVRCP.kl and WAKE option is present on desired keys.
So I don't know what to do now to fix my problem. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

Is there anyway to stop my 8525's screen from turning on when I press any of the media control buttons on my motorola s9? Its really annoying when I have to turn the screen off whenever I change a track or pause a song

I disabled my lockscreen, and to prevent my headset from waking my phone i had to remove "WAKE" from all buttons in AVCRP.kl file, but my phone still wakes up when I press the media buttons.
Anyone knows how to change this behavior?

can anyone help me with my big problem please.
First here is the config of my radio. Its the same now like it was when i got it from Autopumpkin.
Only Dates were newer and MCU was MTCB-KLD6-V2.81
But now, after updating MCU to MTCB-KLD6-V2.83 my Touchkeys of my Device and the wheel steering control of my VW Golf GTI are not working anymore.
The Display of my car just says NaviSystem. But nothing works.
What can i do to fix this problems?
I tried to get the MTCB-KLD6-V2.81 but i cant find it anywhere

im not sure, but if u can get into the factory setting menu go and chk if u r choosing the correct canbus
Probably in factory settings (pw 126). There is a canbus setting there that might have got reset.

Any update on this problem, I have same unit with same issue but without steering wheel controls. Volume up & down, Nav , power button & back are none responsive.
Love the new Rom, much better than stock but I just need to get these buttons working

when i put my i9100 (Galaxy s2) into the car dock the car mode turns on.
Nothing else happens ... so far no problem.
But since Android 5.0 Google has remapped the home button for their CarApp when the car mode turns on.
That means, when i don't use Googles CarApp (which i don't like) then the Home Button is out of function.
What can i do to bring back the normal funktionality for the home button when i am in car mode?
... or what can i do to automaticaly disable the car mode?

Hello,
i got a general Android problem. As long as my screen is turned on, i can skip tracks with the controls on my bluetooth earbuds, does not matter if screen is locked or unlocked. But as soon as the screen is turned off, the controls stop working.
Googling the problem leads to nothing, because the only problem that shows up, is the one where controls don´t work on lockscreen.
But i got no issue there. Everything works as long the screen is turned on. As soon i turn it off, the controls stop working. I tried remapping keys with Button Mapper which doesn´t help.
Everything works as intended, i can skip (Spotify) tracks from Lockscreen, from homescreen, from everywhere. But as soon as the display turns off, i can´t skip tracks anymore via bluetooth. Changing volume still works tho! Also i can skip tracks with holding the volumebutton on the phone but not with the bluetooth controls.
Any fix for that?
