purchased a case for my phone on 2nd september, expected delivery 18th september, date is way passed and no replies to my emails. mongrels.
my order status says stuck in a hurricane, hasn't even left it's country yet....
I've requested a refund through paypal, hopefully these clowns have money in their account paypal can retract.

O Docks, Where Art Thou

Ordered Dec 23rd: Merimobiles
Still nothing, customer service says if I don't see it by this weekend they will send me a new one. Plus it just so happens I sent in that rebate for the free dock and paid the investment of $10.50 to the U.S.Merchants. I have yet to see either one. Anyone in the same boat still? When all is said and done I might have 2 docks. Unless we have another snow storm.

I plan on turning this whole situation into a game, which ever one gets here first will be showered with gifts and pampered. The latter with have to endure the heart ache and smells of being the charger for in the kids bathroom or a ice scraper, snow shovel ect.
Why can't they get more of this stuff in the US? They should be all over EBay by now!
Try checking your tracking number against whatever your mail provider is (mine showed up on CanadaPost).
If it still doesn't turn up I would raise an issue with paypal/your credit card company. Merimobiles has lied to me about shipping details, there's no reason for them to have your money.
I have ordered two items from china in January. One cleared Shenzen on 1/15 and I got it on 2/6. The other cleared on 1/23 and I got it on 2/8
It seems things have really slowed down from there on china post airmail
Merimobiles is a terrible vendor. They are doing the same bs to me (even after completely admitting that the shipping problem is thier mistake). They are a bad company that doesn't take care of its customers. I highly suggest that everybody avoids doing business with them.

I order on the 12/26 and have the exact same as the above, with the exact reply from merimobiles about shipping another if I don't get it by this weekend. Unless they overnight it why would I expect that a second one would make it to me.

I ordered my Dock 12/30/2010, received a "Your Order Has Shipped" email on 1/19/2011. Got my Tracking Number and this is what was reported:
Destination - United States of America
The item (RB176555762HK) is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 22-Jan-2011.
It looks as though it is still being processed! I sent an email to [email protected] so they could explain the status delay. No response 2nd request was sent today.

So, my Ankaka items are officially in the mail and should arrive San Jose, CA any day. My merimobiles.com Docking station is still in Hong Kong being processed for departure.
It seems that merimobiles choose the cheapest delivery option each time they ship something. Like they try to accumulate packages to make one huge shipment to US for less money.
If you go to the USPS web site and under tracking teb enter the track number, you can see progress once they receive it.
Damn... did you all forget it's a slow boat to/from China?
My dock took almost 30 days to arrive from Merimobiles. It was a race between the doc and usb keyboard case I ordered. The doc won by 3 days.
I decided to e-mail them being as nice as I possibly can here is the reply e-mail:

I got a few emails from Janey too. I already did my venting on another thread, but this company is horrible. I think that their support people are all the same person. Always say sir. Always is all lower case. Always bad grammar and you are lucky if the sentence make any sense. The last response I got six days ago said that they would check on my order, but crickets since then.
Then I call up US Merchants to see why I still haven't received my rebate dock from 11/26 purchase and they say that they are having trouble getting the docks from Viewsonic and it will be at least another couple weeks before they get them.
I am livid.

I was stating I had both Merimobiles and U.S.Merchants both sending me docks since Dec. of 2010 and have not seen either one and was wondering if others had received theirs yet. You do however get a +1 for lurking the XDA forums. Janey has been nice answering my questions and she did state that if I didn't get it by this weekend that I could have you guys refund or resend it to me. So I'll correspond with her later this afternoon if I haven't seen it.
One plus on still not receiving a dock from merimobiles, where my order was placed on 12/26. I read the statement above with respect to bad weather. Didn't we hear a similar story from another supplier of cases? Basically I don't accept the weather argument....
Any advice on how to proceed with a refund request?

Yes, I got the same damn email. I can't beleive we're the same people getting screwed over and over while others who have ordered after us have gotton it or better dates. If I don't get my 10 dollar by friday I'll be calling too. Keep us posted on the 10 dollar. If I get my prime from gamestop on friday, I'm going to wait until I get the 10 dollar and then cancel the amazon orders I have.
Luckily it may not aggrevate me as bad anymore after today. I also replace my dying evo4g with a galaxy s2 and that is out for delivery today. Maybe this will keep my mind off the prime.

Probably Indian folks or a procedureally generated response by the Amazon Artificial Intelligence system. The errors in typing is put there on purpose to fool you into thinking it's a human being you're talking to.
Yup, got that email this morning from Amazon. Seems like the accidental order cancellation and the gracious offer to re-pre-order still doesn't mean much unless they are way conservative on the timing of the 2012 shipments.
If I had never planned on getting this and not preordered on Nov 22 and just now heard about the Prime I'd be OK with waiting a few more weeks. But all the hype about release dates, open preorders in November, promises of Dec 8, Dec 19, Dec 23 from all over just chaps me.
I cannot believe in this day and age of computerized distribution, massive amounts of data collection, that these retailers AND Asus cannot freakin figure out how many items are enroute, in stores, being shipped, on trucks, etc... Are they using an abacus to keep track of inventory? Apologies for the rant

My original ship date was 1/25-2/8 but now its pushed back two additional days. Gah.
Mine, preordered on nov 22, says estimated is Jan. 25 to Feb 14!!! What is up with that? Is there anyway to contact asus directly and find out what the status is on these? They said they expected inventory to reach normal levels in jan which hopefully includes the 64gb prime..

I didn't get it until I called and complain to them about it. You may have to do the same. I had 2 primed on backordered. After they gave me my 10 bucks I canceled both of them. Tired of putting to the back of the line and poor customer service. They don't deliver.
Not re-order, but pre-ordered. Wow, that sucks for a lot of you. I pre-order on DEC.22 (very recent), scheduled to deliver on Jan 25th. Grey 64gb. We'll see.

warning for not ordering your nexus 10 in the play store, but at simply electronics

Hi, this thread is only for those who don't already own the Google nexus 10! It is also only for those who live in a country in which the play store doesn't sell the nexus 10. For example, I'm from the Netherlands and Google does not sell the nexus 10 here. So I looked for an alternative and I found one. The site simply Electronics had the nexus 10 in stock for €420,- and with free delivery. But it didn't went well. Simply electronics comes with a big README, and I want to share that. This is my blog and warning for fans of wanted tech.
I ordered a nexus 10 at simply electronics and I want to share how I got my nexus 10. I did a lot of research before I ordered at simply electronics, and I did see a lot negative reviews. I also saw that simply electronics is located in Hong Kong. But all that didn’t scare me, because if you read them well, it turns out that only very impatient people were negative. They couldn’t wait 3 weeks or they didn’t read the delivery time was in WORKING days. All those impatient people cancelled their order and it went wrong from there. I’m not going to discuss those negative reviews about canceling your order, you can read them yourself. Here is how I got my nexus 10:
Monday March 11, 2013: I ordered a nexus 10, 16GB black from simply electronics. There were 10 in stock, and after I ordered one, there were only 9 in stock. I got some emails with order confirmation and everything so far went well. My nexus 10 would be delivered in 7 to 14 WORKING days. Yeah, first time I saw 1 to 2 weeks, but it’s of course 2 to 3 weeks.
Friday March 15, 2013: Today I got an email from customer service. I had to send personal information, a utility bill and a picture of my driver’s license or ID card. This would be used to check if I really live at the address that I used for my order. This mail scared the **** out of me, but I did send that information. I appreciate that simply electronics wants to be secure, but asking this information doesn’t give me a safe feeling at all. I could expect a reply in 24 hours.
24 hours and one minute later… I didn’t got an email, but, silly me, it was Saturday -_-
Monday March 18, 2013: I received an email around 9 in the morning and my information was correct. They could continue with my order. The status of the order at my account said that my order was in queue.
Wednesday march 20, 2013: Just checking (like every day, can’t wait), simply electronics has one 16GB nexus 10 in stock
Thursday march 21, 2013: Nexus 10 16 GB out of stock and my order status turned to: Your order is progressing. It is pending stock allocation or quality check before it goes out for delivery. Doubts go through my mind like crazy! Read the terms and conditions and it said indeed that simply electronics is located in Hong Kong. In the terms and conditions is also mentioned how canceling and returning works, doesn’t look easy.
Friday march 22, 2013: Order status changed: Order Awaiting Dispatch. Your order is pending courier dispatch. An email will be sent with the tracking details once it is shipped. I hope it is sent before the weekend.
Tuesday april 2, 2013: My girlfriend, who also ordered a google nexus 10 at simply electronics, became a little nervous. So I made a call to customer service why it took so long. waited 20 minutes on the phone and finally I got to speak with an american(who was actually in Hong Kong). He helped me just fine and all, but all he could do was to raise priority to high. I asked him why they didn’t change the promised delivery time to one month and he said all he could do was to make a note to the director. He told me that the order had some delay because my information was checked after the weekend and that it may be shipped friday, but it should be shipped before next tuesday.He just couldn’t see how long it is really going to take before dispatch. He also told me to save a screenshot or something like that from the date and time I signed for the delivery company that I received my order. This is important, because you need it when you want to use the one year warranty.
Tuesday April 8, 2014: no that's a joke, it's 2013. But it just feels like I've been waiting for a year. Still I didn't got an email with tracking details. So I made a call again. This time it's really crazy what they told me: at the quality check they found that the nexus 10 might be damaged. Then I asked about my girlfriend's order and it was the same story. The supplier got them nexus 10's, which might be damaged. Expected delivery date? Of course they wouldn't give me one. As soon as possible is what I hear for a month now.
Tuesday, April 16, called again, blablabla, expected dispatch date: early next week. Sight...
Monday, april 22, order checked: Packed: Your order is awaiting courier pick-up and will be dispatched today or latest next working day. FINALY
Wednesday, April 24, nexus 10 finally arrived
Conclusion: I’m happy with my nexus 10, but I’m not going to buy from simply electronics ever again. They are not honest enough. They let you die in doubt, because they never tell you what the status of your order really is. I don’t mind they are located in Hong Kong, but I do mind they not tell you. Why not tell if everyone already knows? It’s in the terms and conditions, but who will read those anyway? I also do not mind to wait a month for a delivery. But I need to know what is really happening. One tip for all the persons who already ordered and feel the same as me, DON’T cancel! Your order will probably arrive, it may take more time then you were told, but if you cancel your order you will probably never see your money again. And save a copy of the delivery date for your warranty.

Amazon and revised delivery estimate

On Oct 16th, I placed an order for a Nexus 9 with Amazon and selected the free shipping option. My estimated delivery date was Nov 10 - 17. Today, I decided to change the delivery option to 2nd day and my estimated delivery date was revised to DECEMBER 23RD!!!! WTF?!?!?
I've got a message into Amazon customer service but has anyone else been shocked with a revised delivery date from Amazon?

Did you order from US amazon or UK? I ordered from Amazon US on Oct. 16th and the est. delivery day hasn't changed (Nov. 4th)
Whenever you revise the delivery date, you're getting pushed back on the que for a Nexus 9, kind of like going all the way to the back of the line each time.
I ordered from amazon and chose the 1 day shipping option. Amazon has not provided me with a shipping or delivery estimate like they did for you guys. My order says "not yet shipped. We'll email you when available." Did your order say this when you first placed it? How long did it take amazon to email you a delivery estimate? Any information you can provide me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Looks like maybe the product is backordered so thats why there's no shipping date lol. Don't know for sure, probably wait and see in a few days/week about shipping times.

Amazon:If your shipping address is eligible for Release-Date Delivery, we'll automatically upgrade your order to this shipping option.
Release-Date Delivery only applies to orders shipped to addresses within the lower 48 United States. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations will be delivered after the release date. Release-Date Delivery also does not apply to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Yes, I ordered from Amazon US on Oct 16th. Got a 10/3 ship date then with a 10/10 delivery estimate. When I changed to 2nd day delivery, I got the email with the 12/23 delivery date.

Amazon:If your shipping address is eligible for Release-Date Delivery, we'll automatically upgrade your order to this shipping option.
Release-Date Delivery only applies to orders shipped to addresses within the lower 48 United States. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations will be delivered after the release date. Release-Date Delivery also does not apply to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Me:Yes it is eligible. Do you mean that I can still get the item on Nov 5?

And they upgraded my shipping method from two-day to one-day. Job well done Amazon.

Did they explain why they took off the release date
I've learned my lesson...don't EVER change the shipping option on a pre-order with Amazon. It screws everything up and your order is treat as brand new. What a stupid process!
Spent the last 20 mins with a CSR who will "try to resolve my issue". I'm not holding my breath....

No, they didn't.
I guess they want to play this safely.
Chances are the earlier Nov 5 date was automatically generated based solely on the set release date, instead of order time and their stock.
Now they're probably checking their stock or/and asking for more units from Google.

I guess i'll keep my order and complain if it comes later than Nov 4. for compensation. They'll probably give a free month of prime

I didn't change my shipping option and they took off my shipping
Amazon cs assured me their stock is sufficient and they are not "backordered". I have yet to get that email they promised would arrive "very soon" with my delivery estimate.

Note8 Promotion shipping

I knew it took a long ass time for Samsung to ship the promotional stuff but this long? I received my phone and did this immediately. After my promotion was approved I was told it would ship in the week of October 1st. How does it go from the week of October 1st to that long?! Anyone else?

@cameronw2023 I received my phone on September 6th and immediately registered for promotional stuff. Received e-mail next day saying promotion was approved and it would ship within 2-3 weeks. So I was hoping to receive it not later than September 27th. A week later I got another e-mail saying it would be shipped week of September 27. When I pull it up on the Shop Samsung App it says Status: Review in Progress.
So how could I receive an e-mail saying approved with a shipping date, then a 2nd e-mail with a revised shipping date but yet the Samsung App says "Review in Progress".
Contacted Samsung US chat support was told that my promo was never approved and she had no idea why I had received e-mails stating approval and shipping dates. Asked for her Supervisor and chat pod immediately closed. Hmmm. Finally got back in chat pod queue and another chat support person said that I was approved but a mistake had been made and somebody in their warehouse had shipped out 256GB SD cards vice 128GB cards and that shipments had been temporarily suspended pending review of warehouse processes. He said that was probably what prompted 2nd e-mail with delay in shipment.
So 2 chats and two different answers. Not sure which is correct. Definitely appears that information is NOT being disseminated to all chat support personnel or else some are just failing to read the information.
Hopefully, Samsung gets their issues fixed and gets the promotional items out. I haven't bought a Samsung phone in a long while and while I like the Note 8 I am still not a fan of Samsung's customer support. I still call them the Helpless Desk. LOL.
You're luckier than I. I registered on release day too, but mine is still sitting on "Review in Progress".

Wtf. That's crazy you went through all that trouble. The note8 is actually my first Samsung device ever. I love it so much lol. Coming from apple I will say that they have excellent service when it comes to certain issues. Samsung lacks the more professional side of things. They make a damn good phone though. I'm hoping this **** will update and every gets the stuff they opted in for. It kinda sucks we have to wait months. I was on Reddit a few weeks back and saw a post from a guy who still didn't get his note7 stuff. I'm like surely that's an error on his end. Sadly it wasn't. I saw multiple people complaining about it. Either way good luck to you and everyone else!

When I did mine it was approved within 30 minutes. Did you provide all the required info? Maybe Samsung is just slacking right now. Hope it clears up for you

It said "Approved" shortly after I submitted it, but the status has been stuck on "in Progress" ever since. I submitted what I have in the past for Samsung promotions, so it SHOULD be right. I did go for the Gear 360 though, since I'm starting to accumulate a micro mountain of microSD cards, so maybe that's the catch.
Did mine on Saturday night got approved today said shipping the day of the 25th so let's see they pretty quick shipping stuff out cause whwn i did the note 5 promo it took about a month to get all the stuff from them so lets see
Submitted mine on 15th still says claim received.
Says in terms and conditions:
Participants will be sent an email and SMS to confirm that their Claim has been received by the Promoter. Within two (2) days of Claiming Participants will be sent an email and SMS to confirm whether their Claim has been successful and validated (“Claim Validation”)
Shipping Date too far away
I received an email from Samsung saying that my gift submission was approved and that the shipping date is "2017-11-27." That is really far away and late compared to other gifts I have redeemed from them

Samsung normally always says 6-8weeks for there promo gits. Normally you get them about 2weeks later.
Yes alot of use got the approved and est ship date of Oct 1 - 9th. Then it changed to 6-8weeks.
We just gotta wait for it to come. Nothing else we can do, it is a promo and this is pretty much normal for samsung.

Submitted mine yesterday, got the approval yesterday. But they quoted a 12/4/17 estimated ship date...
My claim for the 128GB card and wireless charging piece was approved 9/18/17. I got a notification the next day saying it was approved but it wouldn't ship until the week of 10/30/17. Is it typical for Samsung to take that long getting promo products out? I know somebody above said there was an error with shipping out the wrong cards so I guess my question is more generalized.
Anyone in UK had a Dex claim validated yet. Mine was submitted on 15th, still says claim received.
I submitted on 9/8/17 and it said October 7th at first but now it says ships in 6-8 weeks.

Same here, same date.
I never did get an email. The shopping app says 6 to 8 weeks, from day one. Registered on 9/8.
Got notice it was shipping, 2 hrs latter it was delivered! 10/2/17

Anybody get their promos yet? Original e-mail I got said it would ship in 2-3 weeks. So I should have received promo last week. Still no update on promo website or Shop Samsung app and customer service appears to be clueless at this point. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain as it is a "freebie".
