This is my first port of MIUI from international e975.
I just edit e975 miui (cm 10.1) kernel to support external sd and copy storage_list.xml from cm rom.

I dont have any problems with connection to pc.
Try turn on "mount sd card" in "settings > general settings > storage > USB connection".

I uploaded latest version 3.11.9. Now task manager on English )) And in this version fixed graphic bug in task manager (no black color anymore).
I am using this rom for a week. This rom absolutely very good.

Miui is different, but give it a chance. it's Deadly. The standard 4.4 banks Gapps seems to work fine.

This is almost daily driver material. There are just 2-3 minor things which I can actually live with
1) the device gets very hot.. may be i need to underclock or move to ATT JB stock modem instead of LTE hybrid
2) Battery - may be i miss the eco mode performance of Stock and the insanely long battery life of houston's kitkat rom - this one drains battery faster - may be tied with the device running hot perhaps ?
other than that there is nothing wrong here, pretty much stable and smooth as hell...

I use nexus4 radio and i can't see any global differents with stock in temperature and battery life. About performance, some time antutu show 17000 some time 22000 on stock i have 19000-22000.
Will do, flashed once but got stuck at the miui logo, going to try again.

I use CWM 6.0.2.7 Touch, and i try flash rom under latest philz_touch_5.15.9 recovery everything work right. First boot take 3-5min. Maybe bad download? Try download again, do all wipes and flash again.
Thanks a bunch.. looks like the power save options on battery settings did the trick along with turning off NFC (which was sipping battery like a blood thirsty dragon).. now this runs lot more like stock (in terms of temperature) loving this ROM !
This new rom 13.11.29. Now torch and mediascanner work right. Added stock LG camera and xperia keyboard.

i just buy an international s3 in China. the phone has been modified by the operator and google apps are not present. i want to install directly a custom rom. i know cm-based roms on my other Android device but not aokp or others roms like omega for the s3.
which is the most stable for the moment ?
are there samsung apps inside this custom rom ? or can i find their apk like for s voice ?

just use default for a while...till now no custom roms are without bugs or glitches the best is to stay with stock till really good roms appear

Not released on xda yet. But go to or Google checkrom.com. It's better than anything I've tried and good mods are already available in the kitchenpro app.

Are you sure it's a genuine S3 and not a copy?
If it's a copy then don't flash roms or kernels because they won't work.
If it is genuine and it's only missing gapps and s voice because of network limitations then you will be okay to flash.

Well then once you flash a rom from here you will have everything.
To use cf- root you must use odin.
All the required tools are in the thread.

cf-root not working.
i do the steps.
i connect the s3 in download mode to windows xp. odin ready.
windows pop up comes, say try install a driver named "gadget serial" but failed.
i come back on odin, press start, only say "all threads completed. succeed 0/ failed 0"... :/
so i think of a problem with the driver... ?

i found the samsung driver on phonandroid, install them and everything is fine. i am now rooted, have a backup, and can now try a first rom...

you don't have to do anything to get Aroma working, it is packed in to Omega.
Just flash the Omega.zip ROM using CWM and then the Aroma Installer starts automatically, it just gives you a nice looking installation.
I'm at work now but i've just taken some pictures to show you how nice and easy the Omega rom is to install

I downloaded almost all the ruu's till I found out that I couldn't make my rom cause of this new htc ****tttttttt about encrypting this, im running windows 8, and read about this 2 or 3 days ago..
I'll have to learn how to get this going for my personal pleasure of making my own roms... htc always has to do something stupid, why cant they just leave the fffffing bootloader unlocked, and leave the phone s-off, and just let us be...
the first thing I did when I unlocked the bootloader is nandroid without root, then when I rooted another nandroid,.... I keep those on my hard drive for emergency..
I dirty flashed this right over my stock rooted rom using CW Touch, boot took less than 30 seconds. No FCs, no errors, it just works.

PowerAmp player not working
Is anyone having problems running PowerAmp on any of the 1.29 based roms? I can get it to run on 1.27 but any of the roms based on 1.29 won't let it run. I tried winamp just to see if it would work and it did. The stock music player works too. Does the poweramp app just not play nice with the 1.29 versions?

PowerAmp dead here too.
I have also discovered that for other music apps is that, while they will open and play music, any type of sound enhancement or equalization doesn't seem to work.
Well for some reason I could not get it to flash but I did a adb sideload and it flashes fine

Actually with how HTC did the unlock, s-on for the One, u can flash radios & kernels through recovery without issues. If u need a different radio, let me know.

Flashing Instructions
- Unzip the file
- Open Odin 3.07 (already included in the firmware package)
- Restart phone in download mode
(Press and hold Home + Power + Volume down buttons)
- Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
- Add CODE_N5110XXCMG2_1031850_REV01_user_low_ship.tar to CODE
- Add CSC_OXA_N5110OXACMG2_1031850_REV01_user_mid_noship.tar to CSC
- Add kona_wifi.pit to PIT
- Make sure re-partition is ticked
- Start flash, sit back and wait a few minutes.
- If you encounter any issues with the firmware (Any FC, Bootloop etc)
- Boot into recovery mode (Home+ Power + Volume Up)
- Choose to wipe/factory reset.
(THIS WILL ERASE ALL OF YOUR DATA INCLUDING YOUR INTERNAL SD CARD!)
- Then choose reboot and you should be good to go!

I've rooted, deodexed, etc and it is working great except for one thing. I could no longer connect to my wifi router at work (Technicolor brand). It gets stuck trying to get an IP address. Everything works fine on my router at home.
If it wasn't for that, I'd be uploading a CWM compatible rom already.

Did you make sure your bluetooth was off? Samsung products with touchwiz are infamous for having issues with wifi when the bluetooth is on

I can't begin to describe how much I love my tablet again. Even though our device lacks an AOSP/CM build this is a very welcome treat.

The 5100 has a phone modern where as the 5110 only has a WiFi modem. My guess is no.
I wish I could help, @civato, but do not know how to create the dump of Rom; yet I never did "play" a lot: (

All is wipe and you can't install this with mobile odin but with odin 3.07
all is ok for me , super stock firmware

I think its a port from the n7000 to our device. check out the original thread its a cm10.2 base with the sgt7 features added to it, looks clean. Somebody try it and report back.

So i went ahead and installed it. Installation went well. Don`t know any bugs yet but i can confirm that it did not brick on me. Network picked up really fast. Did a clean flash.

Its downloading as what seems to be an incomplete .bin file, so I tried using a mobile iso extractor,nothing...zilch...got an error...Also the download server is Russian so even using Google translate doesn't translate the page..I clicked on every available link and it just lead to other Russian sites...if OP doesn't mind,can someone upload to a different mirror

Translate using chrome. Then you have to check " I agree with terms". Then click on rectangle box. Download took so much time for me. Just make sure you download full file.

The updater script checks out with correct mount points, with the get.prop and the build.prop set up for I717. Definitely legit. I have run an SGT7 port on my Kindle, that and androidslave has a good rep, so I just might have to give this a run.

Yes, it would not hurt to get feedback on the
OK guys. Been running it awhile. Its what it says it is cm10.2. Its smooth and fast. Has most bells and whistles pie halo gestures etc. No FC or anything seems stable enough. Data and signal are fine. Messaging works fine. Nothing wrong with it that I can see. Hope this helps

so I am trying to download. as others stated original link doesn't work, but the mirror is playing games too.
I have never seen this issue through Mediafire before, but I am not interested in this pop up add crap. how many times am I supposed to authorize the frikken download?

Would love to download and give feedback as I am in the market for trying out a new 4.3 based rom. I have recently started having issues with stability that I think may be related to recovery.
I was happily using carbon with an older version of TWRP (not that old, just not the latest which some were claiming to have issues with). I would update every few nightlies until I started having issues with apps spontaneously closing ( which I now believe to be a known issue within the rom).
I switched to BFs version of CWM and am currently using one of Patch adams roms with the latest UBER. I am having some minor issues that I would like to see hopefully rectified in another ROM...perhaps this one?
My question, before I download, is....Which recovery are you guys using and are you trying this rom with the native kernel or with Uber?
If I get an consensus on the recovery, I will try both kernels and respond back...

I am still using TWRP 2.6.0.1 as it has not given issues for me yet. 2.6.0.3 I believe was the one giving others issue. I am sure it has been resolve in version 2.6.1.0, but until I have issue, I am not upgrading.
as far as kernel, I always believe that rom should be functional with native. if developer wants to put specific kernel in, then he should. if native doesn't work well, I just flash another rom.

I had no problems with Recover, I use TWRP.

Stupidly, the apk i got for the launcher was fake! so i fixed that and i think i undid the wierd setup wizard thing....bootanimation is still a work-in-progress... didnt think it would go crazy even though i followed tut.
So the stable is up for download..follow instructions though..dont want you guys to freak out when launcher forcecloses every second(literally) after you update launcher, so reboot afterwards...also going to fix Boot Animation

hahaha, heads up, I already had a unlocked bootloader and custom roms installed. This installed fine, but the screen was backwards. About 10-15 of letting it sit, the screen reset itself, I rebooted and it didn't stay! It fixes itself after a screen lock/unlock though. I'll report on stability later this week.

Hm...wow that didnt happen to me even after updating the ROM 4 times! Maybe its because the euro boot still stayed? Idk because I'm not unlocked(also refer to Kuma's unlock tool if this keeps happening so you can flash v20f(might fix the problem)) Thanks for letting me though but I'm not sure how to fix that one

The inverted screen is because you still have the euro u-boot. I made a recovery flashable zip that will fix that problem.

If I use the fix will I still be able to use custom roms? This is running fine actually, no random lockups or slowdows. The phone hasn't reset itself+ crashed yet. I've had that issue with a few roms. Did I miss a step somewhere for flashing custom roms? I've always just dealt with it since I hated the tmo rom.
