it is a LEAK as you said. it consumes heavy ram as it is a beta firmware and hence lagging is common. try using GREENIFY if the phone is rooted.
:good:

I am using Imperium 14.1 which is based on the last Leak firmware XXUFME7 with Android 4.2.2. - have been on it a couple of days but it's been ok so far. I've only really used it for day to day stuff like web, email, video, music, sat-nav etc, etc (i don't play games on my phone).
May be worth a try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37656328&postcount=21

Update Question

Hello everyone I am using an ATT Note unlocked on T-Mobile. Is there a way to update it to the newer versions of Android?? It's on 2.3.6. I already rooted it and I am familiar with root and flashing so any help is appreciated.

Already rooted.....flash any ROM for an unofficial update. Any ROM is an update from GB. If your looking for an official update, you may have to return to stock. But there is so much more available with the newer Roms. 4.3 and 4.4 are kicking some bootie.

Go down the list......chances are if it is a custom, developer has gotten rid of bloat. They don't like it so they dump it.
Just read OP, get behind the wheel and take them for a test drive.
Do everyone a favor though, don't start a thread asking "which ROM is the best". No one can say what is going to run best for you.
Read OP for features and go with what interests you.
Hint: find ROM with your interest, then go to last page in thread and read backwards for most recent issues. If you don't feel like battling with that problem, move to next ROM.
Good luck, I hope I have helped.

I recommend going with any ROM 4.3 and above. Those offer the latest features and security updates with stability.

GT-I9300 4.3 update? Yes or no ?

Hey guys,
What's your experience with 4.3 update ? It seems like a lot of people are complaining about it.
Is it a go or should i stay with 4.0.4?
I want to update to 4.3 only because of buttery-smooth performance that Google claims it to be after the update
I know that first OTA update was a complete dissaster but after that Samsung released a fix for it, so is it really fixed with that new update or it's still buggy ?
So what's your opinion ? Should i update or stay on 4.0.4 or perhaps wait for 4.4?
I hope 4.4 will have much less problems
Thanks in advance,
Slim Shady

I think(almost certain) that we will not get any official update from samsung... It's a shame that mobiles like xperia m have got official android 4.3 update and also cm 11 for their device while we are still in 4.1.2....

well i did lot of thinking in this matter. There are two case:
Their are updates coming to deivces having same config as us well almost so it can be that we might be getting update
OR
Samsung is that company which gives more effort in quantity than quality. It want expand its production more and more so they might put their whole team on new project than old projects
Its like 20% chance that we MIGHT get update .For now their is no news for update

Ours is an older architecture...Samsung doesn't seem to make updates for older architecture phones anymore.

Android Kitkat Update For Note 3 Neo

Does anyone get android kitkat 4.4.3 for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo
It's all a distant dream....unless you're a Korean with a Korean phone!
Even galaxy grand 2 got 4.4.2.I think we will get update next month..

Firstly I would like to tell you guys that my friend has a grand 2 and he got kitkat update. But he isnt happy because samsung has underclocked the gpu,low frame rate in games, bugs while charging, etc. Also those who updated to kitkat and are unsatisfied with kitkat cant even go back to JB as it results in a hard brick.
So I think samsung is maybe looking into providing a better update for our device with least bugs possible. So its better to wait a month or so more rather than getting a buggy update to which you cant even roll back to.
Secondly,I have been using note 3 neo for 4 days and till now i have not faced a single problem or setback in terms of performance. All games weather gta sa,nfs, fifa, max payne, etc run super smooth on JB.

Most of initial firmware updates (irrespective of the model) from Samsung is buggy and users are expected to test it for them .
Also due to knox downgrading firmware has become a PITA Like some one said just be patient and it'll come when it's ready
Keep calm and listen to Linkin Park..

Maybe he is just relying on the old leaked pic of samsung phones getting update of KK in July. And mind you all the phones in that list have received KK except our device and July is almost over so do you still believe that list?
Anyways I recieved a minor security update today which I initially thought was maybe a big surprise we have been waiting for but NOPE.Atleast it gives hope that samsung havent forgotten us.

Can you tell me what's so cool in kk that you would rather sell the phone? Does it makes the screen bigger or phone waterproof?
For 90% of the users it's more important to have the latest numbers and versions. 90% of those 90% can't make the difference between kk and jb if you don't tell them. Placebo effect is stronger than you think
I want a software which is fast and stable.
