it is a LEAK as you said. it consumes heavy ram as it is a beta firmware and hence lagging is common. try using GREENIFY if the phone is rooted.
:good:

I am using Imperium 14.1 which is based on the last Leak firmware XXUFME7 with Android 4.2.2. - have been on it a couple of days but it's been ok so far. I've only really used it for day to day stuff like web, email, video, music, sat-nav etc, etc (i don't play games on my phone).
May be worth a try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37656328&postcount=21

Original S3 rom battery drain is way better than iphone4. Why try to downgrade it to equal Iphone 4?

You need to have at least 3 charge cycles before you can experience the difference.
Yes when I first got my s3 the battery was pretty bad compared to iPhone 4. But do the cycles and find a good rom and it's a whole nother world. I suggest read a lot here and watch YouTube vids

Depends on what all you have activated and what all is running in the background. Switch off gps, auto sync, auto sync is the main cause of battery drain, also turn off wifi and 3g data when not in use, standby time on idle should be 1% drain in 2-3 hours as per the latest firmware LG8, im getting full day battery with normal usage with screen time of 4-5 hours...

Your rom is fine... Just use it for couple of days and you will see the difference. By the way, turn off gps if not in use and turn off NFC. Also turn off any gesture you don't use at all.
Enjoy your phone.

You take a brick, put you SGS3 on it and smash it with the other brick! No phone no worry what to do next!
I just jumped on the rooting bandwagon. Got rid of some of my bloatwares. Feel the phone is running a little smoother.. batt life still not that good though..

I have some queries.. Say if i install omega rom, and i want to rma the set, touch wood, Do i use triangleaway first, to rid of the flash counter, and then flash back the stock official samsung firmware? Any steps i need to take other than these steps?
And another question, does omega use a custom kernel to improve battery life?

Going crazy with my new s3

Hello to all guys.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding it well with s3.
It would be a GREAT phone, but that really has a problem I can not solve.
With any rom the phone has a lot of lag in animations.
Even with the liquismooth that everyone says is extremely fluid, I do not look good. When I open an application, when I go into settings or anything, I have a lot of lag .. with any rom. The animations are not smooth at all.
Is there a solution?
With ICS, I seemed to have all these lag .. thanks a lot!
did you do a clean installation ?

Yes..
It is not you I've tried several roms and experienced the same. That's why I switched back to official JB.

If i install an official rom with Recovery, i will have lag?
I think you are describing stutter in the animations, try 1,0.5,0.5 in developer options/animations, or turn them of altogether is what I did!

Yes, that exactly what i'm meaning.
With 1x,0.5x and 0.5x, Is better..but i can see microlag.
Sad that a quad core phone has stuttering.

GT-I9300 4.3 update? Yes or no ?

Hey guys,
What's your experience with 4.3 update ? It seems like a lot of people are complaining about it.
Is it a go or should i stay with 4.0.4?
I want to update to 4.3 only because of buttery-smooth performance that Google claims it to be after the update
I know that first OTA update was a complete dissaster but after that Samsung released a fix for it, so is it really fixed with that new update or it's still buggy ?
So what's your opinion ? Should i update or stay on 4.0.4 or perhaps wait for 4.4?
I hope 4.4 will have much less problems
Thanks in advance,
Slim Shady
