Requirements:
Flashtool 0.9.13 by @Androxyde
XZDualRecovery 2.7.76 BETA or newer.
Current rooted FW version: 14.2.A.0.290 .
Special features:
SuperSU integrated in system, FULL ROOT!
XZDualRecovery 2.7.80 BETA (CWM & PhilZ Touch & TWRP) pre-installed;
init.d support (read how to enable)
For both locked and unlocked bootloaders!
In the following guide I suggest you use an external SDCard but that's just good practice, you can use your internal storage or even an USB OTG storage device in TWRP if you like to install, that's no problem!... If you are modding and the likes, best is to have an external sdcard, just for safeties sake.
If you are unable to download torrent files directly, have http://zbigz.com/ do it for you!
How to update to 14.2.A.1.136:
Files (Find the files in the DevDB Downloads tab!):
For C6802: Download C6802_14.2.A.1.136.flashable.zip (865MB) and C6802_14.2.A.1.136_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6806: Download C6806_14.2.A.1.136.flashable.zip (838MB) and C6806_14.2.A.1.136_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6833: Download C6833_14.2.A.1.136.flashable.zip (826MB) and C6833_14.2.A.1.136_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6843: Download C6843_14.2.A.1.136.flashable.zip (871MB) and C6843_14.2.A.1.136_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
Save them somewhere you remember;
Put 'C68XX_14.2.A.1.136.flashable.zip' on (the external) SDcard1;
Put 'C68XX_14.2.A.1.136_Stripped.ftf' inside the Flashtool/firmwares folder;
Create a backup of your phone in TWRP and don't forget to backup the contents of 'SDCard' (the internal storage!);
Flash 'C68XX_14.2.A.1.136.flashable.zip' in TWRP;
NOTE: do not reboot but go back to the main menu, then go to reboot->power off;
Flash everything in 'C68XX_14.2.A.1.136_Stripped.ftf' using flashtool;
Reboot to system.
The first boot will be slow and after some time at the boot animation you will see Android start optimizing the apps on your phone.
Enjoy! :laugh:
Known XZDualRecovery Issues:
Busybox Updater/Installer: If you have XZDualRecovery installed, un-install any Busybox updating app/tool as most if not all of them will install a version of busybox which does not support the lzma compression applets XZDualRecovery depends on. The version installed together with XZDualRecovery is very stable and I have yet to hear anyone complain about it's stability.
How to report errors:
Please, before shouting out "It doesn't work!!1!" or "I lost root!" or even "My phone reboots when remounting /system RW!!" try the following:
Restore any JB 4.2.2 FTF using any means you are familiar with so you can try again.
Root it using any means you are familiar with.
Install XZDualRecovery;
Update to 14.2.A.0.290;
Then try to update again using TWRP.
If it still fails something from there on: LOGS!!.
NOTE: The important ones can be found in /cache/recovery and in /sdcard1/XZDualRecovery, pack them up and send them to me or attach them to your bug report.
Thank you

Tips and Tricks
Easy switching between locked and unlocked bootloader states!
NOTE: USE TWRP ONLY for this guide.
NOTE 2: You NEED to have XZDualRecovery 2.7.43 or higher to make this work.
Create a backup, including the Trim Area (TA!)
Unlock your bootloader
Restore backup without TA
Create a new backup of your UNLOCKED TA
Restore the previous TA backup to relock your phone.
Done :good:
Now you can switch between locked and unlocked bootloaders quick and painless: no more system wipes and you can basically do whatever you want
How to enable init.d support:
Open a filemanager app and navigate to the location where the XZDualRecovery folder is located and go in to it. Open XZDR.prop as a text file and set dr.initd.active to true.
NOTE: For this ROM it means the init.d script called 99SuperSUDaemon will kick in to action, so it's best to disable (by setting chmod 644) /system/etc/install-recovery.sh for the time being or to clear it's contents.
Done
Downgrading to a 4.2 ROM:
Download C6833_14.1.B.1.532_[NUT].ftf (Bittorrent: 760MB) and flash it using FlashTool. I've also added the FTF to the downloads page on the DevDB tab, this will allow straight downloads as well.
This FTF will allow you to downgrade to .532 without loss of your IMEI :good:

ROM Status: STABLE
Files are available, enjoy people!
Anyone with an FTF for the C6802 and C6806, please DO share!

Thanks a lot, again!
Coming from .290 with locked bootloader, the upgrade was simple and smooth.
So far this ROM works like charm for me:good:

I'll add this to the guide I have written for those with a locked bootloader.

Excellent work [NUT]. Works great! Thanks also to Jackie (thread on general forum), blueether for guides to get to rooted 4.3 and NUT's 532 for the C6833. All super work, not to forget to mention so many others (LordManhattan), hamdogg etc.
Used the Xperia xposed apk someone posted forget where and got the extended power menu module loaded and working.

Guessing this is safe as well for 6802 right?

It will work fine, I'm using the 136 ftf for c6833 on my C6802.
The phone will think it is a c6833 with lte options etc

Thanks, [NUT], excellent work. Why don't you update the OP to state more explicitly that people coming from .290 can restore their data partitions from the backup? That would be useful to many.
Edit: Well, I read the OP more carefully, and it seems that this time we don't even need to wipe data, so there is no need to restore anything. Am I right?

Nice!
A bug?:
When I go to do "something else", click on whatever e.g. ICS keyboard, but then I click cancel and I get "This addon could not be found, please contact the developer"
Why do I get the message "No device is set" when I click on install the stock ROM? How do I set it?
Is this still work in progress or?
Regarding bootloader unlocking, maybe you could work together with quangnhut123 and his program?
It would be nice to have everything automated...
otherwise, keep up the good work! You still have some way to go, but you're getting there

Now when I click do something else, then cancel it will still download whatever it was I cancelled. No error msg though
And there's a GUI bug if you look at the pic?
A small typo in tweaks: "erase data and cach" hehe
Suggestions:
You might wanna consider writing a quick guide on what every option does?
Or you can make some info appear on mouse hover.
erase boot?
And maybe you could add bootloader RE-lock...

How to update to 14.2.A.0.290:
Files:
For C6802: Download C6802_14.2.A.0.290.flashable.zip (Bittorrent: 842MB) and C6802_14.2.A.0.290_Stripped.ftf (21MB)

Save them somewhere you remember;
Due to a little bug inside the updater-script, you need to follow the guide in this post to make sure flashing it works OK. (Only if you downloaded the older version)
Put 'C68XX_14.2.A.0.290.flashable.zip' on (the external) SDcard1;
Put 'C68XX_14.2.A.0.290_Stripped.ftf' inside the Flashtool/firmwares folder;

NOTE: do not reboot but go back to the main menu, then go to reboot->power off;
Flash everything in 'C68XX_14.2.A.0.290_Stripped.ftf';
Now reboot to system;
Once you get to the language select screen, reboot to TWRP (no need to finish the guide);
Restore the backup of DATA only, when done go back to the TWRP home screen;
In TWRP -> Wipe -> advanced Wipe Tick/Check Dalvik-cache;
Reboot to system.
The first boot will be slow and after a long wait at the boot animation you will see Android start optimizing the apps on your phone.

Install XZDualRecovery and then try to update again using TWRP.

Update 5:
A little bug has been discovered in the updater-script. To be able to flash the one you possibly have downloaded already, follow the instructions in this post to get it to work properly!
I will be updating the packages soon, in the mean time I have updated the OP guide to include this small fix.
Update 6:
Removed the files from the bit-torrent seeder. I'm currently uploading them again now. It will probably take about 30 minutes to finish that, will update again once completed and seeding again.
If you have already downloaded the package, make sure to read 'Update 5' with details on that how to fix yours.
Update 7:
Files have been replaced on the seeder box. There is no need to re-download them if you follow the guide pointed to by 'Update 5'.

Why?
Failed
Tried a few times to flash C6833_14.2.A.0.290.flashable.zip in TWRP, but each time it failed in the final step:
Code:
set_perm: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/C6833_14.2.A.0.290.flashable.zip
(status 7)
So I decided to try the flashable zip from jackie099's thread, and that one was successful.

Ah frack, because of this report, I just rechecked my edify script, and even though it was correct typo wise, it is trying to set permissions on a file which no longer exists in the package.
I'll redo the packages soon. Packages have been updated. If you have one downloaded already, follow this little guide to fix yours!
In the mean time, open the flashable ZIP in winzip or winrar, extract META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
and remove this line:
Code:
set_perm(0, 0, 0644, "/system/bin/ramdisk.stock.cpio.lzma");
Put the updater-script back inside the zip, updating the one there. It should make it flash OK from there on.
Thanks for the report!

Set up flashtool to where it asks you to connect your phone:
Turn off your mobile, then hold Volume down while connecting your usb cable. It will then start flashing.
Holding volume up will put your device in to fastboot mode, FYI
ahh, volume down lol. great, that did the rick
thanks a lot NUT! appreciate your job hehe. great work
oh right, i still have the notification of OTA update to 290 after i flashing your ROM. is there any way to clear it?

See Post #2 for addons/additional files
See Post #3 for Install/Rom issues
See Post #4 for modems, rpm/tz partitions, and info. - as of 2-26-15, I would recommend NOT flashing the rpm,tz partitions. If you haven't then don't worry about it.
Anyone can use this as a base to build from. Just give credit.
Make sure you back up your EFS and current ROM first!!! - If you don't know how to backup EFS, look in the FAQ.
What is has:
Bone stock and rooted
Modem and Kernel are included - the Modem doesn't seem to be backwards compatible. It works, but shows as "Unknown"
Install instructions:
1. Flash this in TWRP - MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN FLASH THIS!
In TWRP, select Wipe>Advanced>then select cache, dalvic, data,and system. You can wipe internal and ext SD. BUT MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILES FIRST!! And don't wipe Ext SD with TWRP. Format it FAT32 on a computer.
2. Flash Rom
3. Profit!
After install:
Go to Settings>System Updates> and update profile/prl. You can also go to "Activate this device".
If you do not have Wifi Calling
You will need your MSL number and do the dialer reset. So in the Dialer ##786#. This will wipe your int SD!! And everthing else, so you will be starting fresh.
Bugs:
None that I know of.

Additional Files/Mods
I've combined mixer paths with a fixed build.prop. - Flashable - If you don't want both, then just remove it before flashing.
Mixer_paths are VERY LOUD!! - You have been warned!!
build.prop changes:
1. persist.splitwindow.support_all=false - true
2. ro.lge.qslide.max_window=2 - 8
3. dalvik.vm.heapsize=36m - 512
ZV8_Mixer_build
SD_Card_fix Flashable in TWRP - If this doesn't work, Some people are using an app from the Playstore to fix SD issues. SeLinux Changer, and set it to permissive.
EXTREME_ZV8_mixer paths - I AM MOST DEFINITLY NOT RESPOSIBLE IF YOU FLASH THIS ONE!!! Use at your own risk.

Modems and rpm, tz partitions - FLASHABLE
If you guys need the modems for any of our Roms, Here they are.
Modems Folder This is the folder that has all the modems. Choose which one you want. It also has Apn's from the past.
The KK and L modems don't seem to be compatible.
RPM and TZ PartitionsTo be used with the corresponding modem above.
These are kind of up in the air, and for now are considered Beta. Although I have been using them with no issues.
History
After doing some reading in the International Forums, Cloudya recommends that we use these 2 partitions for a better Lollipop experience. I can't find the post now, and I have know idea what he meant. But I figured we could try it out.
Read here, near the bottom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57541255&postcount=428
Make sure you use the corresponding modem for these. - It SHOULD still work fine, but just be warned.
The ZV4/6 seem to work better for us
ZV8 rpm, tz partitions
ZV4/6 rpm, tz partitions
Hell yea!

The deodex might take a while. I looked at it briefly and it's quite different from past Android versions. But I will be making one shortly. Next project, actually.
I don't know about the volume mods yet either. I'd say for now don't use anything from KK. This thing is all new and very different.
Is there a way to get msl without calling sprint??

[ROM][08-06-15] FOF6 Stock ROMs

Introduction
Aug 06 Update: ROM is now pre-rooted using @ShinySide's kernel.
Note: Currently, none of the ROMs in this thread are rooted. Flash SuperSU will cause boot-time force-closes that I haven't yet solved. This happens if you try to flash SuperSU 2.46 or 2.49 (BETA), on any of the ROMs in this thread, or any stock image of G900TUVU1FOF6 provided by Samsung/SamMobile.
You must upgrade your firmware to be able to use these ROMs. To do this, you can download the ODIN flashable from downloads, unzip the file, and then flash the resulting .tar.md5 in ODIN under PDA. This will update your bootloader and Modem as well. If you don't have access to windows, you can use Heimdall. To use Heimdall for Galaxy S5, download the source code of Heimdall, and apply this patch. Once you have done this, you can run heimdall found in the 'build' or 'bin' directory of the source code after compilation. After upgrading your firmware, make sure to flash a custom recovery again, which can be done by downloading the .img.tar (if you plan on using ODIN -> PDA) or the .img (if you plan on using Heimdall -> with argument --RECOVERY twrp<version>.img) from TWRP.
Versions and Descriptions
COMPLETE: The full stock ROM, includes KNOX, no SystemUI patch. It is a simple flashable which includes metadata correction.
WITHRINGTONES: A heavily debloated ROM, but includes all of the default sounds, including bootsound, notification sounds, etc.
SLIM: A heavily debloated ROM, which simply removes most of the default sounds from the previous package.
*KNOX is removed, but Settings.apk was not patched to show this change.
*Settings may crash if an unsupported operation is run on the debloated versions such as:
Add New Ringtones
Face Recognition
etc...

Here's a diff of the two files: https://www.diffchecker.com/mob5jg06
I'm a bit too lazy to type out all of the deleted apps.
It says the complete version systemui is not patched. What patching are you referring to?
Also, is this rom deodexed?
Thankx!
Nice job. Will you post a patched Settings.apk later to replace? Most likely i would be doing things to crash often... :silly:
So before I go and start flashing this ROM I wanna make sure I do it right.. So this is stock touchwiz running 5.1.1 ? And I see I have to update bootloader where would I find the link to that ? I'm still new to the gs5 lol.
WARNING
When you install this ROM you will have no APN settings (with ringtones version) and the phone will not allow to to add a APN.
DO not install until OP fixes this

No, it is Odexed. The SystemUI patch is for removing the quickconnect/sfinder bar.

Patching the System.apk on an Odexed ROM would prove difficult, so I'll more likely add back some of the features, since they're not technically bloat.

Correct. Check the 'intro' section of the first post. It has instructions on how to update your device to the latest bootloader, modem, etc. Make sure to backup your user data first.

Check Settings>More Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names. If you installed the latest bootloader and modem, you should be seeing fast.t-mobile.com added by default, and if you click the '+', you should be able to add more APNs. Please tell me if this didn't work for you. This ROM was extracted directly from the tar.md5 source, I removed no APNs or anything to do with CSC for that matter.

Debloat Guide
Below is a list of system apps that are potentially safe to remove.
Always make sure to have backups.
My recommended app is Titanium Backup to remove/disable apps.
If you are unsure, try freezing/disabling a few apps to see how things go
Second List- Stats
This is a list of system Sony Data collection /Stats apps. I have been testing these for a day or so and they appear fine to remove but this one is a maybe, please note that I do not use sony apps like keyboard or xperia home, only the xperia email so thse sony apps may/may not be related to those apps. You can always try for yourself and see:
If you are unsure about an app I will do my best to try and figure out what it is. Also if I missed any or if anything needs to be added please let me know :good:
To state the obvious, if you are uninstalling things like stock launchers, keyboards and things, always make sure to have the replacement app set up before you uninstall things
Good Luck

Hi there,
This is not based off stock, this is based off Sonys Concept Rom, you can find more info here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/sonys-android-concept-marshmallow-t3229536
It's more lightweight than stock and is closer to AOSP, with a few sony features.
I dont have a D5833 so I cannot confirm if this works or not, if you want to try it you can, just make sure to a have a backup ready
Hey there, thanks for this ROM!
I'm on latest Concept with SuperSU 2.79SR3 and Xposed installed. Could I dirty flash your ROM if I uninstall Xposed first? Or should I wipe everything?
What about the camera quality in comparison to stock? Is fisheye effect present?

Camera quality should be same as stock, no fisheye.
This ROM is based off official Sony Concept firmware
Second post updated with debloating list. If you want me to provide explanations for each app I am happy to do so.
As always, make sure to backup before modifying your system., I always recommend Titanium Backup to remove/backup apps.
I have taken system apps down from about +-150 to about 85.
I have also disabled a few extra things that are not on the list like NFC services because I don't use this feature.
Good luck :good:

Zip installs fine for me, please can you provide more information? Just saying you get status 7 is not very helpful.
1) Have you tried re-downloading the rom and checking the md5 to make sure it is not corrupted.
2) This has only been tested on D5803, D5833 may not work
Also make sure you are running the latest version of TWRP and that you are already running concept rom and is rooted

Try redownloading the ROM.
This is the screenshot of the error 7. I' m in Concept 3657, rooted with superSU 2.79, with TWRP 3.0.2-1.
If i edit script in zip file, deleting assets line, and rename file to 220117_Concept_Plus_Beta2.zip, then gives me error 6.

For me sometimes it would work to flash TWRP MultiROM recovery from here:
