Online at Verizon Wireless. The online chat person told me. I saw someone else got that response. So i tried it and BAM they told me flat out.

cool if that's true, I'm still up I'm the air about getting this. I currently have nexus s on tmobile but would life to get on verizon's better network! Input thing 4g isn't available yet and the 3g speeds are slower than what I'm getting on tmobile. Any input our advice

I just called and talked to multiple CSR's and out of the 4 I talked to none of them could find anymore information or confirm anything other than BB's pre order and the fact that it will release with mobile hot spot.

They read rumors off the internet and many of them do not seem to be able to ask the higher ups if rumors are correct, they will just tell them what you have read on blog sites of people who are not in the know.

Same. They don't know much info at all. They're not as passionate about these phones as we are. It's just their job, and it's our hobby.
They will say anything to sell you a phone.

I had slim hopes as well. Sorry, but there isn't going to be a surprise release of a phone without at least a few days notice.
The Verizon chat representative was probably going, "Hey Sa'irah, I'm so sick of people asking about the TB, lets get this guy going. 'Yes, the TB will be available to order tomorrow.' 'Yes, you'll be able to purchase it as well.' ".

Hi everyone! I will be trading in my EVO 4G at Radioshack on Friday and I was just wondering if I should unroot or not. I don't think it will be an issue but I want to know what everyone else is doing who is trading in their rooted EVO. Thanks for all your help!

I am now unrooted running the latest stock update. Selling mine back to Sprint Direct. Just not worth it

I can confirm this as well. If you are trading it in at radioshack.....the store rep said all they care about is if it powers on and works. They give the phones to to battered women I was told.
But if you trading it in to Sprint I would likely unroot the phone and flash back to stock.
i unrooted mine just in case they do check for that. Trading mine thru sprint. Sprint gives 150 n RS gives 100 trade credit fyi
Does no one else think they can do better on eBay? I listed my rooted evo to start @ 150 w/ a buy it now of 250 as soon as I bought my 3d at 12:30am ET and I have two watchers and over 20 views.... I know that means nothing really, but it shows interest...

I took my Evo into a Sprint store for them to check out and tell me how much my trade in would be worth. I was running CM7 and gave it to the guy. He took it in the back for a few minutes. Came back and said it would be $150, but said I should probably flash to stock. I said "oh yea, of course" and grinned. Ended up selling on Craigslist for $200. Currently using a ****ty BB 8530. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough

I sold my year old rooted Evo 4G on eBay for $250 a week ago. You're getting ripped off big time if you give it to radioShack for $100.
Yeah I would agree it is definitely worth it to sell it on ebay, I put my 9 month old Evo on ebay with a buy it now price of $250 and it was sold within a day, I did unroot it though, this is the method I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780141&highlight=unroot

The phone isn't released yet, it is released tomorrow ... so you will have your phone ordered tomorrow, then shipped overnight.. not sure if you'll get it Saturday or Monday though..
I'm also waiting for mine... i think we should get it today or so.
Hey everyone, yesterday I chatted with Sprint online. Eventually, after trying so hard to get an answer out of her, she estimated that the EVO would be released in stores by late June. When I first read that, I thought she was joking, but I guess not. I still don't believe that, but can anyone confirm that it will come sooner, because I don't know if I want to wait that long haha.

I would be giving up a note 3 though... A larger screen, spen which I use allot.. It's a tough decision.. I may hold out longer till some Roms are created and more feedback can be given. I hope you enjoy yours!

Ahhh, the Note 3...
that's the phone I was using before I got this stupid Flex 2, I sold it after I switched.
Huge regret. I miss my Note 3.

I have preordered as well.... They said expected to ship in 3-5 days....
I ordered through the HTC website the moment it went on sale 3/27.
10 hours later I get an email saying its on backorder....
Today I get an email saying it might ship between now and next week.
This is the worst launch experience I've personally experienced.
But im upgrading from an M7, so I look forward to actually getting it!

That's not as bad as when I ordered the EVO LTE.. that whole embargo. I think we got it a week or 2 later.. so this isn't that bad

I ordered Monday 3/30 it said backordered... Late last night I got tracking number for delivery Thursday 4/2.

Me too (order today said Monday). Direct from Sprint. My contract was not up until end of month but they said ok to do now.
They charged Activation Fee (grrr) and I hate mail in rebates, especially Sprints.
I'm gonna try not open it until Sunshine is ready. Like to avoid HTCDev unlock.
I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna keep it. I love my Black and Gold Harmon Kardon M8. ONLY reason to upgrade IMHO is the camera and having latest and greatest from OMG and friends.
But since I was due an upgrade I figured I should buy it and could easily sell it for $500.00+ But I always say that and never do
Not sure if I will get rebate if I never activate it though.
