No problem,
I've install V50018a this week with @Jessooca build http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2692505
This morning, go back stock with @Jessooca thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2698401
All that to have TWRP working.
So I can wait a zip some day.
Thanks man.

Yea it's less buggy and really feels much smoother than 18a. You can always flash back to 4.2.2 if anything.

Yes, I was also curious. The instructions are a bit onerous, but clear. After installing it, the first thing I was glad to see is that it preserved my info (strange, since I clicked the clear phone data button), and stayed in English.
For those wondering, the Korean KK is real, and works fine. That said, since it seems other countries are receiving KK also (I read a forum saying it had rolled out in Spain already a day ago), I would suggest waiting, and here is why:
1) QVoice is in Korean. 100%.
2) Weather widget is powered by Kweather (not Accu) and is a bit buggy recognizing the cities. I live in Rio de Janeiro, which the 4.2.2 and even the leaked KK had no trouble recognizing. This one cannot find the city, and instead says I live in Sao Goncalo, which is somewhere else.
3) There are some local apps such as QTV, which is specialized to work with local Korean cable offerings. It is a remote control and TV guide, so no online streaming, and thus gives no advantage.

I'm "on my way back" atm because I don't need a tablet without xprivacy, adaway, afwall and tb. Still, great to see how smooth it is.

i can still wait for a flashable eu/us V50020a zip while I'm on the road with the twrp/rooted leaked KOT49I.V50018a
best regards
btw AdAway and Xposed Modules works like a charm..

It doesn't matter AME, SEA or other. D802 is D802 and all firmwares for that prefix will run propertly. You have to only watch out for capability of phone storage. This one firmware works with 32GB perfectly.

Tired of seeing the new update notification. Looking at upgrading my phone. Unfortunately, I don't install ROMs all the time, so I tend to forget the steps / applications needed to upgrade. I'm rooted, and bootloader is unlocked.

So there are now two newer versions out there, the latest only has an OTA no kdz, and if you flash it as is you will loose root
I suggest wait until there is a method to keep root and flash the latest, which I'm sure will be soon

L is the latest, if you want to flash j right now feel free
There are two Roms by eliminater74 and one by andy_zahng
For any of these choice you do not need LGup, so long as you are previously rooted
Just flash firmware (part one) via TWRP
Then flash any of those three Roms via TWRP
Reboot,
You will have j rooted
But being i tend to recommend a full wipe i would say wait until the latest L is out in a flashable .zip, should be soon

I'm really not sure but 137-35 looks familiar. I'm not on stock right now but i use the stock DEODEXED rom when I feel like stock. Is the 43-5 update the most recent one to that? I use sprint but I feel like that doesn't matter since it's carrier unlocked

The only U.S. OTA currently is the VZW one.

I'll try it out tonight. Thanks for the feedback
I flashed the Verizon one. The reason I asked my previous question is because Volte/WiFi Calling is important to me because I get LTE signal just fine in my area but no 3G/HSPA so I rely on those two for phone calls at home. Volte and WiFi calling are working good. Thanks for the upload.
Since this is the stock ROM would dirty flashing as a update work okay?
EDIT: Nevermind, I used my eyes and read the OP.
EDIT 2: Successfully flashed. You the man! Been waiting to get this VOLTE fix. Big thanks :good:

So, I did this. Pretty impressed with the overall device feel now, SE9 is nice . No hang ups other thank it took a long friggin' time, also remember this will WIPE all the data, so make sure to do a backup prior to. The initial/first phone setup is very iPhone-ish, imo.

Be warned; this update is ONLY for SM-G930A firmware - it has a second-stage updater that blocks all other versions (including SM-G930T, which I myself tried). In other words, it is a carrier-specific update, folks.

If it weren't for this being a daily driver, I'd consider it. However, because it is, that's not an option. So I'll have to wait for either a neutral version or one that will work with the SM-G930T.

I don't think so for this update. I haven't seen the kdz anywhere. Personally, I went to unrooted stock using an older kdz and LGUP (with Uppercut) and then immediately got the OTA.
