No problems to me! Battery like Life 07 ROM; No need to change modem.

Its depend of using phone, 2 days with intesive using phone, if only using call, sms, somtimes wifi it will may be 4-5 days.(with dual sims, if using only one SIM it may be longer).
LiFe is best ROM by me opinion.

It works fine, I would say better than in India. Battery also lasts for minimum of 2-3 days even with heavy usage.
I also moved to USA from India & have been using my 5801 with Kyrillos V5.5 without any issues.

You need to have at least 3 charge cycles before you can experience the difference.
Yes when I first got my s3 the battery was pretty bad compared to iPhone 4. But do the cycles and find a good rom and it's a whole nother world. I suggest read a lot here and watch YouTube vids

Depends on what all you have activated and what all is running in the background. Switch off gps, auto sync, auto sync is the main cause of battery drain, also turn off wifi and 3g data when not in use, standby time on idle should be 1% drain in 2-3 hours as per the latest firmware LG8, im getting full day battery with normal usage with screen time of 4-5 hours...

Your rom is fine... Just use it for couple of days and you will see the difference. By the way, turn off gps if not in use and turn off NFC. Also turn off any gesture you don't use at all.
Enjoy your phone.

And another question, does omega use a custom kernel to improve battery life?

Questions about the LG G2 Mini

First, and most important one, is it wourth buying (I can get one for 300 Euros)?
Edit: Yes it is
Second, I saw that it got rooted, here, but what about a custom recovery? Is anyone working on it?
Edit: Custom recoveries are available
One more question from me. How can you cope with the fact it has no notification led? I'll pass this phone because of this. I would have to unlock the phone just to see if I have a message or a missed call? This is so wrong...

It should be natively supported in the ringtone or alert options. all my phones besides the sola and v9 didn't have leds, the rest all beeped at a set time till the message/miss call/calendar alert was opened.
Just saying that it should have that option natively.

battery life averages 4-5 hours screen on time
it really depends on what apps you are using.
FB,twitter, instagra, will most likely eat your battery life.
refer to this thread for battery life

You can also unlock bootloader and install custom roms if you are into those kind of things.
