For charging a phone it does not matter if its a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 Those things only matter for data transfer.. cos the transfer rate depends on which usb connection you are using.
For wireless charging, the USB 2.0 charger is it. There is no 3.0 powerbank... cos technically it means nothing. Even if you see one in the description of any power bank.. it doesnt do any good.

Just as he has stated usb 3.0 just separates the power and the data between 2 connections instead of over the same connection. That is why you can plug a micro usb into half of the charge port and it works fine.
As for a battery - I prefer slim style that fits in a pocket and I got the Motorola 4000mAh battery about 1-2 years ago on a dailydeal for $20. Built in micro usb cable + usb port means it can charge anything.

It is about the size of an iPhone 5 in thickness and size.

G3 USB Cable

where can someone pick up an oem G3 usb cable? i've tried googling the part number but nothing comes up but there are plenty of G2 oem cables, will the G2 be a suitable alternative?

G2 cable is fine. A USB cable is a USB cable. I use cables from my old Blackberry. I even use the USB wall adapters...the one with the wire still attached to the wall plug.
I am using about 4 different USB cables and they all work. Go monoprice.com is where I go for cables.

I second Monoprice. I buy all my cables there and I've never been let down.
Using cables from my Galaxy S4, since I bought some spares.
The cables need to be heavier gauge to carry current. That's all.
Plug in a cable, if it works it works, if it complains about not charging throw it away and find another cable. Stock cable isn't necessary for the phone to charge.

Anyone that had the G2 experienced first hand that a lot of aftermarket cables weren't compatible with the phones fast charging feature.
As someone with a G2 and a G3, the cable and charger that came with both were identical.
I actually just had an issue with an old USB cable where it's pretty much woren to crap and I picked up a generic one at Target and it works fine as well. 6ft no name one and it works great.

Sweet thanks!
I found a few oems on eBay. Some had charging block included. Others had oem block with 6 or 10 ft cable. Pretty tempting.
I don't think a ten footer would charge as fast though.

Wireless charger??

I'm rocking the zero lemon battery and since I've bought plenty of chargers and none seem to fix my slow charging problems is there any wireless chargers? Will me using the zero lemon battery not allow me to use a wireless? Also if all this is fine, does anyone have any recommendations??

Even though you can try to use that battery with wireless charging it won't fix your slow charging rate. Wireless charging goes max to 0.6 A (600 ma) when it comes to charging. So it's 1/3 the speed of your regular wall socket charger.

When I say slow charging I mean it comes up on my screen saying charge it with the cards given. It charges about 30% in about 9-10 hours.

Something is wrong with your charger or cable then. My ZL charged from ~78%-100% in about an hour last night. The plug adapter that came with the phone and a USB cable I've used for a while, from a Nook I think. Wireless will be VERY slow. It's fine for topping off, but if you drain it down you will want to use a wired charger. You can use a wireless charger with the ZL, there's some info in one of the threads talking about what you need to order. You can't use the contacts on the back of the phone for it, you need to use one of the low profile USB plug type.
If you want fast charging you need to use the adapter that came with your phone, or another known good adapter, and a good quality USB cable. It doesn't have to be USB3, a USB2 cable will work fine, but it needs to be good quality. Monoprice is a good place for inexpensive, but good quality cables.
If you are connecting to a computer USB port, you will charge slow unless it's a USB3 with a USB3 cable.

I've bought a couple chargers on eBay and they said it was OEM, but neither have worked. One was a Motorola and the other was one specifically made for the Note 3, or so it said.

Didn't you get one in the box your phone came in? Try that one. Like batteries, chargers are often fake and don't meet the specs they list.

Try a usb 2.0 cable to charge it.
The little extra part for the 3.0 seems to have gone bad in my phone after only 4 months.
If I charge it with the cable that came with it, I have the results you are saying.
If I charge it with a 3 year old usb 2.0 style charger, it charges fine.
Good luck!
Get a usb voltage/current tester. They are like $10. You can test all your chargers and cords and find the under performers.
My phone with zerolemon charges fast with the original samsung charger, and my Asus t100 charger. Fast being relative, from 20% to full it can take 4 hours or so. I've never timed it 100%

Yes, it drops to 97% straight away. This is because it drains in the background a little as the charger doesn't trickle charge. See this for an explanation http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/1...bump-charging-and-inconsistent-battery-drain/

Best third party Turbo Charger compatible USB Data Cables for Moto G4 Plus

Friends, the stock cable provided worked fine for me for 8 months and then it began twitching, I am looking for an alternative which is fully compatible with the Turbo Charger. I hope this thread will be approved. Thanks.
I would recommend you buy the Anker PowerLine Micro USB with Aramid Fiber.
This cable has charged various of my devices (all with fast/turbo charging) since almost two years. I use the Moto usb only for data transfer or when i need to use fastboot.

Turbo charging doesn't depend on your cable( unless you have a cable sitting around for decades ). Although you would not get the turbo charging notification still you can get the same milliamps. Use an app like ampere to measure that. I use personally use redmi note 4 charger cable and it also turbo charges.
Cable matters, tested many of them and not all of them can provide QC. Have positive experience with Aukey and its subbrand CRDC (even preferrable, as you will get same quality with lower price)
Use this one (really two QC3 ports, but a bit large one)

Quick charge requires a thin and a good conductive wire I hope ,I hope the official one should work just fine.

2 meters dash cable?

I am surprised to see that I need an original onplus cable to enjoy dash charging, the one that came with my op6t is the usual 1m which is short for my installation. The electricity socket being far from my desk I need a 2 meters cable like the one I always used but dash compatible. Where can I find one?
I just bought the following cable and Dash Charge works perfectly: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07LBR54RD/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_XO8nCbB02GB5G

Long USB Cable that works with Dash Charging?
Greetings All,
Can anyone recommend a long usb cable, at least 2m, that works with Dash charging?
Thanks
Been using these forever now, 6ft nylon braided and it DOES support dash chsrge. Phone makes noise and lightning bolt flashes when plugged in.

The 2m cable that I bought last year for the 6t is starting to go wacko, it will show warp on my 7 pro but it won't charge in warp speed, I bought the one in the last link, I will see if it will charge as fast as stock cable
