The kernel is build from the great @ak nightly branch, and is compiled also with SABERMOD 4.8. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I will try to keep the ROM updated as much as possible. I don't know if I will build every night, but.... Anyways, download links are below. Let me know what you think!!!

HOW TO USE DELTA UPDATES
First off, make sure you are on the latest firmware from the OP. Then:
If you are coming from another ROM, then download the latest build, and flash as usual in recovery. Reboot to recovery, wipe dalvik, system, data, and cache. Then press back, and do a factory data reset. Next, flash the ROM, along with any Gapps or scripts like UKM that you want to use. When it is done, boot the system. When the system is done booting up, use a file manager, and move the ROM.zip that you just flashed into the /SDCard/Delta directory. Next you are going to want to move your gapps, and any other scripts you might use to the /SDCard/Delta/flashafterupdate folder. I normally number my packages in the "flashafterupdate" folder so that they flash in the order that I want them to. Like 01_gapps, 02_UKM, and so on. Now, the next time that there is an update pushed, all you will need to do is go to Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates and click on "Check Now". Sometimes on the first update, the process will hang during "Patching" at 50%. If this happens, just back out and go manually force close the OpenDelta app and try again. The second time, it will work. This is the only time you should have to worry about doing this. It will update like it's supposed to every time after the first time. For some reason it hangs on the first time. I haven't been able to figure it out yet. When it is done doing it's thing, click "Flash Now" and the phone will reboot to recovery and flash everything that you have in the /Delta folder and the /Delta/flashafterupdate folder. If you guys find something that I missed, please drop me a line and let me know. Also, another note. Do not ever delete the contents of the /Delta folder, as it will be needed on the next update. It just continues to recycle the files that are in that directory. If new Gapps come out, then of course it is ok to replace those, just make sure not to delete the actual ROM.zip.

Did you manually wipe /system in between the flash?
Sorry. I misread your question. No. You should be fine. Just manually wipes /system before you flash. I think you'll be Ok. Multiple people have conformed it for me. Make sure to make a backup just in case.

I didn't flash it yet. I'm currently running an official cm nightly from the 13th, I'm not in the mood of backing everything up right now, which I will need to do if I do a data wipe, so all I'm asking is wiping the data partition required when switching from the official version of cm to yours....

I was talking about a backup in recovery. Always make a nandroid, & you can flash whatever you want, & if you have issues, you can go back to that last working image of your phone. I think you will be fine not wiping /data as long as you are coming from another cm 11.0 ROM.

This is a very good build, and very battery friendly.. Any thought on 03 optimizations as well?.. And if you're up to it, could you add status bar date?.. Is there anything you can't build nearly perfect?..

Hi @RobbieL811
sorry for asking again. In ak ekrnel thread I've pointed to cm11s sources on github. Don't want to beg you, but are you planning a release of cm11s too?

@RobbieL811: Are GAPPS included or need they be flashed on top?

Why?? Cm11s?? Cm11 nightlies is more updated and you can install that three exclusive apps of cm11s flawesly, so no reason for do that. Just my two cents.

P A C man ALL IN 1
Description
After months of work, the long awaited PACman 4.2 rom is ready for public released. This is still work in progress WIP and there are many missing parts. Though the rom is rock stable for average users. We are working on it daily to fill the missing parts.
Now what is PACman? The idea was to remove the need for a hunt of rom and cure flasholicsm by providing everything xda has in rom development in a single bloat free rock stable rom. This is the FIRST rom of its kind with a hybrid framework consisting on cm10.1, AOKP and AOSPA. What makes PACman unique is this perfect blend of all of these. Be informed PACman is not a "git cherry-pick blahblah yeee i am a dev donatezzz me" rom. It took a LOT of work of thinking behind to merge the frameworks in the right order.

Some MSM8960 specific performance improving patches. If you used a ROM containing them you'll never go back
I am not a developer, but take a look here: https://github.com/rascarlo/platform_bionic
Not sure if that's all. Maybe you could ask Moles or Rascarlo or any other mako dev, most of them are using the patches.

Any chance you could add the option to use PIE when the screen isn't in expanded desktop mode? Seems silly I know, but it's very useful for me.

He was asking, what these patches are about and I told him.
I'm no developer but I'm pretty sure it's a easy one for him to include bionic patches.
Beside that, I got him a kernel log a couple of days ago to get this booted on mako.

Dang. Have they added quick settings customization yet? I'm pretty happy on 4.3 Slim right now, but now you're tempting me with 4.4 once again.
HTC seems pretty on the ball for 4.4 though, so I'm hoping we can get something official soon that'll help work out our device's AOSP kinks, pending Verizon certification (multiple expletives deleted).

This and slimkat are the most feature rich 4.4 ROMs currently. Your favorite ROM is working quite well with 4.4 on my DNA

Can you add the TWRP recovery that was updated yesterday in the CM11 thread? It works fine.
Outside of the mods, is there any difference between this and the other 4.4 ROM in terms of stability and performance?

I had the same problem with this and another ROM. Try this
1.Wipe Data/Factory Reset
2.Format the following:
/data
/system
/cache
/dalvik
Do not format /sdcard
3.Flash ROM and reboot
4. After first boot to home screen change sim settings to sim, not NV
5.Boot to recovery. Flash gapps. Wipe cache and dalvik.
6. Reboot.

The camera app was missing for me from the app drawer. I tried the camera from the lockscreen and it didn't even show a live preview. I restored back to CM11 since that 4.4 ROM is pretty much bug free. But as far as I can tell so far with this ROM data is wonky and no camera..... didn't test much else.

I can not get this to take. cm-11-20131116-unofficial.zip, it hangs then i loose boot.. Good for me, that i have a backup.
I downloaded cwm recovery 4.0.4, but it's not compatible with viperDna 4.2.2......
I have twrp v2.5...
Golden question, What is a noob to do?
Thanks
So far so good. updated my TWRP to the one from CM11 thread. Installed fine. Typical temp grief from TB, reinstalled SuperSU and pointed it to correct backup folder. Google launcher works, but doesnt have voice output. im playing with the settings now to try and fix. Also installed CRpalmers kernel to see how it takes.
So does everyone have data working consistently? Calls, texts, WiFi all work fine, i just can't get data to work at all even after all the how to fixes.

9. Some like to wipe cache again... If you normally do that, then do it
10. Reboot
11. Enjoy the Rom...
12. For root go to developer settings and under root change it from 'apps' to 'apps and adb'

Future Updates - READ THIS!
By providing this ROM I am not guaranteeing that future updates will follow. Due to limits on my time and the fact I have multiple devices I need to keep updated it isn't possible for me to continue providing ROM updates indefinitely. Please do not be under the assumption that future releases will be available (I don't want you to be disappointed!).

Well I have, but thats because I wanted to try Sony's 4.3... All I can suggest is try it and see what happens, if you end up with no data/radio then you will have to upgrade. But I think the general concensus is that its better to go to Sony 4.3 first
Nice!

Thank you!
Is there still no way to just flash a zip in recovery for the Sony 4.3?
I think I already forgot how to do it the FTF way, or what else is involved...
If we go to Sony 4.3 and then to this rom, is there no way to easily go back to a restore that's CM10.2? (Because the baseband will be at a higher version?)

Thanks, I was running krab's carbon for ages, then omni befor I built my own Sony stock 4.3.

^^ yep.. same decision to be made here. (which is :good: )
Thx @[vertigo]
Btw.. (Noob Q): If planning to enable ART, do we need to flash the ART specific gapps at the rom flash stage, or only after enabling ART? (or not at all, just normal gapps) cheers

[ROM][5.0.0_r][LRX21V] The.Emilio Unchained

Hey guys.. and gals. I have finally took the dive again and decided to build my own personal ROM. I present to you The.Emilio Unchained AOSP. This ROM is built on Linux Mint 17 directly from AOSP source. This is a pure AOSP experience.

AOSP Lollipop built from source
Stock Google kernel
DeOdexed

Changelog:

Merged latest commits from AOSP master branch
7/8/2014
Deodexed (ART still enabled as default runtime)
7/5/2014
Compiled with ART as default runtime (dalvik still available in developer options)
Reset status bar size to default (noticed some UI glitches that were bugging me)
7/4/2014
Removed almost all Holo blue I can find. Font color, settings, framework, AOSP browser, SystemUI all updated to Holo white.. you name it I almost can guarantee I changed it (hours of editing went in)
Merged latest commits from AOSP source master branch (lots of changes to run smoother)
Edited navigation bar and status bar to a smaller dpi (more visually appealing to me and allows more actual on screen)
Fully Odexed from source during compiling for performance
6/22/2014
Upgraded to 4.4.4 source
Removed more holo blue
6/14/2014 - part 2

Fixed Network location services
6/9/2014

6/6/2014 - Initial Release
What doesn't work:
----------------------
All known issues resolved
Lollipop Downloads:
Download Rom:AFH Mirror
Download Gapps for Lollipop:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=56810851#post56810851
Download latest SU: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133
Read Me
Superuser must be flashed as the recovery script is still intact. Fashing SU in the same session will prevent the recovery being overwritten.
If /system is mounted in recovery, you may get an error flashing the gapps package. Just unmount the /system partition and flash gapps again.
1.) Perform factory reset
2.) Flash ROM, GAPPS, and latest SuperSU
3.) Reboot
4.) Profit

What is PRL/Profile, exactly? Is it the User Switcher Quick Settings tile? Or the dialer profile?

Yep. Its only 163 because gapps are not included (since it is source built and not based on the factory image like other ROMs posted). So be sure to flash the gapps linked. Any will do, but I prefer the PA version as it is most up to date.
Let me know what you think. Aside from what is listed as not working, it is fully functioning.

Yep! OG Evo it was. Made Unchained on that years ago based on CM 7. Last time I did any sort of development for a device. Wow that was a long time ago lol.
I get this after flashing the ROM:

Error flashing zip '/sdcard/aosp_hammerhead-ota-eng.actofgod.zip'

Guessing TWRP and you had wiped the system partition. If you wipe system it mounts that partition. Restart back in to recovery and flash again or go back to the main recovery screen, select mounts and unmount system then flash again :good: I will put in a command to unmount system before flashing in the script so this error can be avoided.

To confirm, unmounting system fixed it? Or did you reboot back to recovery and flashed again?
In regards to the app, yeah I noticed that too. Typically, it auto downloads everything when you run the same ROM. Any future updates to the same ROM will still save the info, so when you wipe and flash to the same ROM but an updated version, it will automatically restore. In this case, it is a brand new ROM and a start over is basically all that can be done. Once you've set everything up it should automatically restore on any subsequent build I put out. Best thing I can suggest in the future is titanium backup so you can restore app and app data. :good:
It is also one way to tell who is using the same base.

Great! Are you GSM or on Sprint?

Paranoid Android 2016

Gyus, a new ROM for our device appeared, AOSPA is BACK!
This was taken form their Google+ profile page.
"We are launching brand spanking fresh. All new features. New team members. New everything and we have made sure that everything that we are releasing has been polished to our best.
The main features and enhancements that you will probably end up noticing are our custom Quick Settings tile reordering functionality, floating window support, immersive mode, the new on-the-spot interface and CM Theme Engine.
Quick Settings tiles can be managed with ease - you can reorder the tiles by simply long pressing them, remove them by dropping them in the trash bin and add them back in from the add panel. The hidden tiles will be out of your way when checking the notifications but will still be usable from the add panel without any hassles if you want to do that all of a sudden.
You can make an application float either by long pressing a notification and tapping the floating button or by tapping the floating button for the application in the recents list. Additionally, you can make peeking (heads-up) notifications open floating windows by enabling that behavior in the "Floating peek" tile.
Those are not the only changes and features we have added. There are a variety of improvements to CAF devices (OnePlus, OPPO and others) which add custom kernels, advanced gesture and buttons control and more to provide a great experience on those devices. Of course we have spent a lot of attention on making all the visual details look right and on making all the functionality work right.
Over the months we have gained a bunch of new team members. We are now ready for all varieties of work - be it low level, aesthetics, user experience, motion design, testing or anything in-between. What we strive for is the best and we are stronger than ever to reach that.
On Paranoid Android 2016 launch we are supporting popular Nexus devices (6P, 5X, 6, 5, 4, 7 2013, 9) and the OnePlus family (One, 2, X) along with some Sony devices. The lineup is this way to make sure we release the best possible experience on all the devices we release for. No compromises, pure greatness.
We highly recommend everyone to use OpenGapps full version (do not use stock). Nexus 6P users need to make sure their vendor partitions are up-to-date (6.0.1). Our Nexus 5X builds come with a prebuilt vendor image so no worries for you folks!
There is more to come in #aospa2016 but for now, grab your builds at http://get.aospa.co/ and #stayparanoid!"

Paranoid remember me old times, one of the best roms, I go test son. Thanks
Doesn't seem to work, at least with MM firmware, bootloops when starting boot animation.
EDIT: Fixed. Paranoid android attempts to backup and replace system apps from your current rom, maybe due to exposed or previous rom apps incompatibilities, these system apps were causing the bootloops. Formatting /system partition with TWRP before flashing the rom solved.
I get stuck on boot logo, flashed zip and opengapps full. What am I doing wrong?
coming from temasek and stuck at boot logo. anyone know if we need to flash stock rom first?
Use twrp 3.0.2-0, I went from oos 3.0.2, to PA and back no issues, rom is lightning fast only thing I didn't like was not being able to use capacitive keys to turn screen off
