Noyze Volume Control - X 2014 Themes and Apps

I just discovered Noyze Volume Control. It gives you the option to seamlessly overlay a custom or expanded volume panel, a feature I had missed since retiring my rooted GNex. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.barrasso.android.volume Noyze comes with themes and is highly customizable, with in-app purchases (IAPs) for extra features. I found there was no need to make a IAP, as all the features I needed are free.

Nope, just device administrator enabled. I have a VZW Moto X 2014, no root available yet, thanks Verizon. I don't feel like this phone needs root anyway, aside from the fact I want tethering back.

This means that it can show phone, media (games/music), and alarm volumes together.

This is awesome! I'm also coming from a GNex with Paranoid Android to the new Moto X, and this was one of the features I was really going to miss!

Yep! That was the first thing I did.

Only thing I wish it did was link ringer and notification volumes, otherwise great app

Actually, Noyze does link those now. Under Audio & Media there's an option for devices with separate notification/ ringer volume controls to sync the two.

That's off, would you mind submitting a debug log (in Advanced)? There's no official way for an app to know if the two are linked, so perhaps the detection method isn't working on this device.

I have problem with Noyze. Please take a look at the screenshots. The took is cut off. Just wondering if anyone else are having these problems?

So does this app help with the annoying ascending ringtone "feature"?

Blocking mode on Verizon s4

So i was messing around with an NFC tag and I programmed it to active the blocking mode, pretty much just to see what would happen. And to my surprise, it did indeed activate. Perhaps Verizon didn't delete it and maybe just made it inaccessible?

well, i programmed an NFC tag to activate it. The app is called "NFC Tag Launcher" (Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jwsoft.nfcactionlauncher&hl=en) and in there i created a task that would activate it. It was surprising that it worked, and kind of exciting.

If I wish to access my company's assets from my personal phone, I must abide by my employers rules about that access. That includes not having root or using custom ROM's on Android devices.
This is enforced both by employment policy and systemic policy. This is very common with fortune 100 companies and government work.
Oh cool. I'll have to look at that.
Not everyone wants to install custom roms. Its nice to have a way to use something that should be easy access on the phone the qay samsung intended but for some reason verizon thinks we shouldn't. If it werent for the great service . . . .

Nice work OP. this mod works great!
on the note 3, you need to add the smali code in settings, they are not there already. Hope this helps other devs.
one more thing.. the toggle wont show unless you make an sql edit.
unless you also edit the secsettingsprovider.apk... and add flashlight to res/arrays. then when your user wipes data when they flash the rom, it will properly display the flashlight toggle. If data isn't wiped, then it still wont show... Just an little FYI...

After updating my rom, the toggle was still not available after a full wipe. I assume it is because I forgot to add it to the SecSettingsProvider array list.
