Wow, I'm impressed of the 17 hours. Were you on Wifi this whole time?
The only thing keeping me away from flashing this rom is the ugliness of touchwiz.. Yuk!

I need more info.. modem... recovery. ..

My recovery is twrp and this is my modem. After you add apn you must save it and reboot phone

[SOLVED] MMS not working after flashing Passion v12

Has anyone else had this problem or know a way to fix it? Also, when I try to send one it will give me a message saying "service not activated on network". I'm using galaxy s vibrant on US T-mobile.
Check your apn settings. For T-Mobile US:
MMS Proxy: 261.155.165.050
MMS Port: 8080
I had exact issue, this worked for me.
Sent from my DOC'S MASTER ICS Vibrant
Did you use the default T-Mobile US after flashing (the one with the password and username set) and then added the proxy?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda premium
Here are my setting...does it match yours?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda premium
It turned out to be a photo size limit issue. Apparently it was too large for MMS. I cropped out a picture to test that out and then it worked. I ended up switching to Hancent. Much better application. It does the auto resizing for u.
Sounds good. Ya I used default, cleared username and password and added port and proxy. Glad your up and going.

Is this part of the AOKP roms?

Hello, i ported a AOKP rom to my device (I've never used AOKP before)
So it is that's why that I'm asking the following:
In the screen, there's always this small white circle following your/my finger, do any of you have this?
So, basically my finger doesn't touch the screen, i have to put the lil circle on the option i want then press the screen.
Is this part of the AOKP? If so, how do i take it off?
Thanks.
Alright well i got my above problem fixed.
Does anyone know how i could possibly fix data connection on aokp?

When you ported the rom did you also change the modem to one that's compatible with your phone? If not, flash a compatible modem and see if that helps.

Xperia P on AT&T

I just got my xperia p and I realized that it can't download the internet setting for AT&T so that i cant connect my P to AT&T 3g network. I can make call but no internet. I found the way to manual setup APNs and I can connect to internet now but no MMS... Anyone here please help me....

You need to manually input MMS settings.
I'm surprised it didn't download internet settings. Go to WI-FI, then hit download settings. That might work.

*EDIT* Your APN settings worked flawlessly. Every other APN settings I found on the internet (I've tried maybe 5 or 6 different versions, with different "APN Types", leaving some Proxies blank, etc.) made my data freeze. This one works flawlessly... thanks so much!
Thanks for the APN setting details!
Just wondering since there's not many people using the Xperia P on AT&T. Are you using the LT22i or the LT22a version? I have the LT22i and I keep on getting disconnected from the network, and a reboot becomes my only option to reconnect to the network (both calling and data). Pretty annoying, as it happens multiple times a day. Xperia Support told me that it's because my phone isn't made for the AT&T network, but the frequency bands match up so I'm not sure about what they say.

I thought your APN settings fixed it, but once a day (mostly at night) I get disconnected from the network and can't reconnect until I reboot. Oddly, my signal strength is frozen at full strength with the "H" (but no arrows going up or down).
Can I ask what firmware you have? I flashed my LT22i with a generic ICS rom from central europe. I don't know if that'll make any difference. If you have no problems, I'd just like to have basically the same exact phone as you, haha.
Thanks!!!!

I am using these settings, and it still doesn't do anything? Under the APNs, when it shoes the Phone settings, and ATT settings, are they both supposed to have a blue dot to the right of them? only the phone does. And for the ATT settings, The APN enable/disable is highlighted enabled, and not on the phone settings, does this have anything to do with it? Also is it supposed to be on the wcdma/gsm network, or just gsm netowrk? Thank you so much for the help!

Let me see if I can break this down a little simpler.
1. Download goSMS from the play store.
2. Enter AT&T mms info into the app's settings.
3. Prosper.
Edit: credit to beaups for showing me this.
This is what I used to get my MMS and Data to work with AT&T:
AT&T APN Settings
Internet Settings
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: [Leave Blank]
Port: [Leave Blank]
Username: [email protected]
Password: CINGULAR1
These settings I put in goSMS [PlayStore] under MMS settings
MMS Settings
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
This works perfectly for me!

How to: 4.4.2 TW ROM

I take no credit for this work.
This was brought to my attention by another user the other day. After some messing around I booted up a 4.4.2 TW ROM for my I545.
First, be on the MDK bootloader.
Then, do the usual back up and wipe...
Then install the I9505 GoldenEye ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2427629
Dont reboot...
Run Loki-Doki: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407577109
Reboot and let it sit. It takes about 5 or 6 minutes to boot, after it boots you will need to put in the Verizon APN settings:
Name: Verizon
APN: internet or vzwinternet
Proxy: blank
Port: blank
Username: blank
Password: blank
Server: blank
MMSC: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: blank
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 012
Authentication type: not set
APN Type: internet + mms
Then you are good to go with 4.4.2 TW. :good:

I did not have to use jrkuze's patch, the Loki-Doki worked perfect for me with no issues. But I know for one person he could not access his APN settings so he had to use jkruze's patch. The jrkruze patch also is having MMS issues that he is working to fix. I have faith his method will be fully functional soon and will work for more people.
I will keep this post updated to any changes on my end

Actually...did you download the one from the i9505 section or i1337? (AT&T I think)

I wish I understood more of why my way works for some and jrkruze works for others. It is weird that some have APN and others dont. Jrkruze will figure it out he always does. I have 100% faith in his skills. Give it some time but for now, if this way doesn't work for you use the jrkruze method and use either hangouts or 8sms they are reportedly working while he finds a fix.

So with this method, you could edit your APN. But with jrkruze's method you cannot?

With the ROM + Loki doki I could get to apn settings through an app shortcut. Calls would work but no text/data. With ROM + jkruse's zip I have everything working except MMS, and now I actually have an APN settings option where you said it was. Only thing is I can't edit them since they are greyed out.

Oh yeah I'm sure he will figure it out soon. Hangouts does not work for me and 8sms gives me an error saying "invalid destination address."
