Play store 5.0.31 - X 2014 Themes and Apps

Just may have figured out something new or old... If you have the version 4.9.whatever play store, go to settings and tap the build number. It will popup that a new version will be downloaded and installed. Tap okay and go on your merry way. Enjoy the beauty of the material theme in a bit.

That has been there for awhile.

Yup... Didn't know dude

My Moto Pure has 4.9.13 and says its up to date. My OGX had the newer one.

No problem!

I don't notice any difference between 5.0.31 and the unnoticed 5.0.32 update I received and the 5.0.37. Is there a link to what they update?

Some description here....
http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/1...-and-moves-whats-new-to-the-top-apk-download/

Mine still had not updated. I manually did it today to the 5.0.37

Mine have been updated yesterday to .38 release. Can't really see any difference between this and my previous .31 version.

From AT&T's site:
AT&T released a software update for the LG Optimus G (E970) to be downloaded via Wi-Fi or over the cellular network. The software update is being pushed to customers via firmware-over-the-air (FOTA). However it is obtained, there is no charge for the update.
This update will fix the issue in which users would sometimes get a blank screen when accessing the browser. This software package will update the Software version to E97011c.

Don't bother. I never got the update either, and if you don't have a browser problem it's not a big deal.

it's definitely the kernel killing root. just revert back to your old kernel until he can fix this. I tried reflashing supersu.zip and that failed.
Ya the new kernel kills root. You have to disable something in the source
Flashed back to old kernl and all is golden. Very excited for this one

but it's all good. thanks for the kernel.

totally like AT&T/HTC to put out an update without saying anything about features.
Got the update as well but I didn't know the size because it had already been downloaded and ready to be installed before I was prompted.

I wouldn't mind changelog seeing as i went from .475 to .510 to .526 all in one day.
If you are already rooted and bootloader unlocked, will the update cause issues?

Can take a while. Your dealing with Verizon here so when ever they feel it's been tested enough and is ready. Last time they sent it back to htc

A 4.3 update was ready from HTC but didn't go past integration before the 4.2.2 OTA hit so we were stuck with the older update.
Here's yesterdays article on the details of a possible release in 2 weeks. Assuming Verizon's 2nd attempt to certify takes significantly less long then it might happen.
