[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][5.0.1] CM12 daily builds - ONE Android Development

Just another source of daily CM12 builds
(These builds are run automatically every 24h, so they aren't tested and *might* be broken. So far, CM has been pretty good with keeping their ROM booting though. Also, if the build fails, nothing will be uploaded (obviously), if that happens, shoot me a PM or something)
http://downloads.codefi.re/herna/chaosagent
I *might* start adding my own features or cherry-picking things later if I have time and there is demand.

OT chatter removed...:crying:

What is the PA ota I see here?

I try every 3-4 of these builds and I haven't run into any non-booting ones so far....

Every 24h, what time source is refreshed from git? I want to look into commits to get to know about changes.
Perhaps you could also auto generate some changelog file (obviously, got from git commit logs). Should be quite easy to develop some script for generating changelogs

Yep, works fine. Build with the latest "preview binaries". Literally all I did was repo init/sync, load the variables, run the binary scripts, chose manta with lunch and then finally run make.

Yep, these: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/blobs-preview
I suspect that will be much, MUCH more difficult than a Manta build! Tell you what though: If you do manage to get it going well I may well buy a G3 myself as the hardware is gorgeous and they are quite cheap nowadays... Only thing that puts me off is LG's update record and (until recently) the locked bootloader

[ROM] CyanogenMod 13 jgcaap builds

Hello everyone, after a great success on building roms for bacon device. I've decided to share my work with other devices. So now I share with hammerhead. After positive feedback on the rom today I'll publish here the rom.
Kernel and Device tree are untouched so everything should be working smoothly. You can use a custom kernel in case you like, but i'll only give support to stock kernel as I do not yet own an device. So CM bugs are basically also our bugs, and from what I know there is none. Still I'm open to suggestions.
Download
GAPPS
Features:
Updated SQL to 3.11.0.0
Optimized SQL code for faster Read/Write
CM Super User (for now is the most stable one)
Kernel with F2FS support
Improved Code of frameworks
Optimized Build with custom toolchain on ROM and Kernel
Optimizations for our chip
Improved sound with speex resampler
Improved bionic with many optimized libraries (faster rom)
Improved Art with upstream patches
Optimized native frameworks for our device
LZMA updated to the latest
Proguard 5.2.1
Google Webview
F2FS ready for data and cache
Immersive mode
Expanded Notifications
CAF Task Manager
Snapdragon Camera
Network Monitor
More coming soon
I'm a very praticle user, and my aim will be to get a very fluid stable system, at same time with speed and battery, keeping most stock possible with the optimizations which will improve for real our experience.
Thanks

Not the first CM14.1. I think that you might find a more up to date version over at - https://androidfilehost.com/?w=profile&uid=95897840722645866 and his version for the Moto X Style (Clark) works very well. No idea about Flounder as I am currently back on stock Nougat running DP2.

I couldn't find his threads on xda though
This isn't my build, however I do have a CM14.1 build which works with my Nexus 9, no visible bugs. This is built unmodified from CM source, apart from removing forceencrypt. I would post on the Dev section, but my post count is too low. If there's enough interest, I'll upload it and do twice weekly builds?
Edit:
So if anyone wants a test drive, try https://harryyoud.co.uk/cyanogenmod/ which has a build from yesterday
BE AWARE: forceencrypt is enabled by default here, so if you don't want encryption flash ElementalX or another custom kernel (or maybe FED)

[rom][aospa][7.2.3][bacon]

VV READ THIS BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE VV
By using this ROM you agree to these conditions:
1. I am not responsible for anything that you do or that happens to you that is related to the ROM in anyway.
2. You have an advance knowledge of how this stuff works before trying it yourself.
3. You have backups and know how to recover your data if something was to happen.
I am not connected in any way, shape or form to AOSPA. I just respect them and like what they do.:good:
I did not make this ROM. All I've done is compiled it from the source on GitHub, anyone could do that. ----> https://github.com/AOSPA/android_kernel_oneplus_msm8974
Okay I believe that covers me, so lets get down to the specifics.
It takes me approximately 35m to compile a new build, I'll do this either weekly or sub-weekly if there's a bad bug that's been fixed.
I have not had any problems thus far with it.
To flash this I strongly recommend you
1. Use the latest TWRP.
2. Have a backup in case you mess something up.
3. Wipe only these partitions: system, data and both caches. DO NOT EVER WIPE THE INTERNAL STORAGE OR THE OTG DRIVE
4. Flash the ROM.
5. Flash the most recent Open GApps [ARM] [7.1] the variant is up to you but I recommend [PICO]
6. Reboot and enjoy!:good:
Bugs:
I don't know, you tell me. I haven't had anything go wrong.
Here you go:

I don't know what you mean by moments before they do. But yeah what I compile is exactly the same as if they were to release an update. But they haven't all they have on their website is AOSPA 7.2.1. That's the whole point of why I'm doing it, I liked the ROM but wanted updates, so when they make improvements on the master I pull the changes and compile a new build.

[ROM] LineageOS 15.1 unofficial

Hi guys,
as LineageOS 15.1 is just around the corner and I had a few spare CPU cycles, here's the current build which I did as a 'code of honor'-member. Just flash with TWRP as usual, add gapps (stock are too big) and optionally root.
Watch out as the whole rom might still lack a few features.
Sources are on https://github.com/LineageOS
Credits to anyone who worked on them including intel for their buggy CPUs enabling me to build.
Build date: 2018-03-02
Download: https://go.stargazer.at/bacon
FAQs.:
Q: What patches did you include?
A: None. Pure LineageOS as it would come from the build server
Q: So this IS the official LineageOS rom?
A: In theory it's the same thing, but I am NOT a linageos developer
Q: What Gapps package did you use?
A: Nano. Stock is too big as it wouldn't fit on /system
Q: Support?
A: None officially. But ask - maybe someone has an idea.
Q: What works?
A: Phone rings, I'm able to answer and do calls, BT works, Wifi... annoying texts already arriving. I assume it's working.
Q: Bugs?
A: You tell.
Q: Is it complete?
A: I doubt it. Some translations are still missing. Keep in mind it's an early version of lineageOS
Q: Why did you build it?
A: Because I did not want to wait for the official release and live on the edge.
Q: Why does a girl build roms?
A: Short answer: because I can.
is the camera working? apparently that is the reason why the official build have been delayed

Honestly, I did not check yet as camera is not one of my basic needs. Will do so as soon as I get home.
If it does not work yet, I do not intend to fix too much stuff as I want to stay on the official sources. If there's a patch to cherrypick from gerrit, it's something we may talk about.
Camera does not work yet, but as far as I can see there are a few things in review to be submitted. Stay tuned as I will be building the rom again as soon as those changes are merged. In the meanwhile I may do some tinkering on my local build.

I've been keeping tabs on this every day and no one has touched it for weeks [emoji24] hopefully they just have code they're working on offline and just have to upload it and merge. Waiting is killing me though. Good to know it's getting close but probably will still wait since I'll probably do a full wipe once it's ready and don't want to do it twice.

I doubt that it's SELinux. Looking at the logcat the problem root seems to be the HAL and that we should use the CAF stack. Besides that some clocks seem to be out of sync (mainly front camera). If it would be SELinux, logcat/dmesg would show.
Download doesnt work
I will fix it as I compile the next version.

Lol and now the download link is gone. Just stop. Wait for the official there is clearly a reason why its not been officially released yet.

Im getting error 7. No other rom gives me error 7. Download link works on and off have tried installing twice same error.
Use latest official TWRP 3.2.1.0. No Problems with it. Error 7 seams to be old Recovery.
