Use flashtool and refash a firmware look for a guide and official firmware ftf

Plug the USB cable into the computer
Power off the device
Hold the volume up button
connect the USB cable
You should get a blue LED illuminated on the top of the device; then follow the instructions here from click 7
Did you read these instructions?

did you have enough battery to do that and does the tablet have any juice left?

Hej everyone.
I did pretty much as far as nerke, but after flashing the img, I also cannot turn on the device again. The LED won't light up at all, neither holding vol up and plugging in the usb not by holding vol down while pressing power. No life sign anymore. Any ideas?

Do you think it might be a hardware issue? I experienced some of the same things you're describing. The only thing though, is that I wasn't doing any firmware or software flashes on the tablet. If it's a hardware problem, you might be able to send it in to get it serviced by Sony's warranty.

I guess my warranty is voided after unlocking the bootloader. But if I find no solution, it might be worth a try...

My tablet is having the same issue. Won't turn on, no LED illuminates when plugged in to either computer or AC, and no amount of button presses will get it to do anything. Horrible.

I bought mine last week (UK version M470BSE not A) this is the 32GB version... Basically I managed to root it just fine but noticed that I couldn't get into CWM recovery? Would just stay on the 'Recovery' title screen. So after much reading on the thread I noticed that someone had the same problem and their solution was to put the tablet into 'Fastboot' mode and run the 'XERecovery.exe' but now my tablet is bricked I can tell you I'm not happy at all as I'll most probably have to destroy it in order to return it for a refund.
What was the outcome of your problem, did xboxexpert reply with an answer? Or did he just give you the following steps:
"First off, no I did not. It is definitely not bricked you can not brick this tablet thanks to my scripts.
Step 1: Remove all USB Cables and Hold Volume up and Power from a off state, you will see FASTBOOT on the tablet screen. Let go of power once you see FASTBOOT!
Step 2: Provided you have a USB cable and a PC you can plug it in now and run the recovery.exe from within the folder where my root script is located.
Step 3: By the time you read this if you followed the instructions XERecovery.exe told you to do you should have access to CWM Recovery go install a ROM."
If so that's bullsh*t! As without proper tools such as 'odin' like whats used for samsung flash recovery, we are SCREWED!!! I don't think Hisense are supporting this device like their competitors do in terms of technical resources etc.. Please let me know either way!
Cheers

Hi there,
My Sero 7 Pro is also having this same issue. But also in addition to this, it will not charge properly.
It hangs on the Hisense screen for a long time whilst connected via usb.
When I try to restart into update mode (up+down+power) it just states battery is too low.
I cannot get into fastboot neither as battery is too low?!
I was able to get into recovery before but since the battery has died, i cannot recharge it and do anything?!
Any ideas would be much appreciated!
It will charge

I had exactly the samething. Plugged into mains for the entire day did not give me enough charge for fastboot !!!! Was abit of a nightmare but plug it into your pc as the charge is slower and leave there for a 30mins + Try to switch it off (hold power button) when it starts to charge. Did that as the mains was just not holding its charge.
It will charge you just need to keep it off. You just need a little bit of juice to get into recovery (fastboot) and then it will charge.

Hi I got my Sero 7 pro bricked. I have CWM running. I can go to the recovery and able to install any ROM I want, however my tablet shows Hisense and then gets stuck for ever. I am not sure what I can do.
Also Windows can recoganize the device as MTP USB Device, with a yellow sign. The updating of driver doesn't seem to work. So I cannot see my device when I type "adb devices".
Thanks for all the help.
It's not meant to charge via USB. Plug it into an ac adaptor.

You should be able to install the original rom via fastboot.
I'm assuming that you are at the point where "fastboot devices" shows devices...
You can start off by installing the stock recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2000996&d=1369834980
fastboot flash --RECOVERY stock_boot.img --no-reboot
Then you can grab the stock ROM from the second post in xboxexpert's thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2297246
fastboot flash zip [whateverStockRomyougrabbed.zip]
Reboot into recovery and do a factory reset.
I hope that helps. It certainly can't break things worse.

Bricked Sony Xperia Z3v (D6708)

Hello,
I have recently made a horrible mistake, I flashed the incorrect ROM on my Xperia Z3v leaving the phone bricked. I am asking for your help. I have tried using the Flashtool but I am not certain if it's the phone or I that is causing a mistake. The steps thus far that I have followed.
Downloaded: Flashtool & Drivers
Installed: Drivers for Xperia Z3v
Downloaded: Firmware from XperiFirm
Now, the issue next is nothing shows up in my firmware when I attempt to flash. I have checked the source folder the .ftf files are there.
Furthermore:
When I hold VOL UP and plug in the USB>Blue led is indicated
When I hold VOL DOWN and plug in USB>Red flashes with a second of green whilst vibrating
Found this video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtaUxuorVSA
Exactly like this, checked for a solution seems like he repaired it via sony. Unfortunately for me I don't have that luxury.
**Update**
I installed the lastest release of flashtool (0.9.22.2) but it occurred to me to revert back to the previous release (0.9.18.6)
Now I can finally see the firmware but I am still having issues actually flashing the file. I get errors such as:
ERROR - root : this bundle is not valid
ERROR - Cannot delete C:\Users\Juan\.flashTool\firmwares\prepared\userdata.sin
**More Information**
I should include I am on a locked bootloader
same
that seem the same with my situation

Okay the green light is flash mode / upgrade mode. The blue light is fast boot. You want it on with the green light on to flash it once it's bricked. You can't flash it using fast boot mode because the boot loader isn't unlocked.
Now what you have to do is get it with the green light on and then the drivers installed.
Can't delete the file means that it had error while trying to flash and all that you have to do is restart the app and that goes away.
Now for the next problem is that I had this one and what I did to fix it is that I had to reinstall the drivers because those weren't correct and I did reinstalled it and it all worked good. Thanks.
Download the correct firmware for your phone (model and Country).
Use flashtool to install it on your phone
Works with a locked bootloader, no need for USB debugging.
The first error might be you ended up downloading the incorrect or incomplete firmware
I had the exact problem that you are having. I ended re downloading the flashtool a few times from various computers and then i got it to work. I figured when i downloaded it the first time i had a version that was to old/new. Or a bad connectiin when i downloaded it first time. After i downloaded flashtool again itthwn worked without issue just as it should. Whatever the provlem was for me was having to do with the download or version i downloaded wouldnt work completely. I think my internet connection when i downloaded it wasnt very good and maybe didnt download it right.
I made the same mistake too, trying to flash a z3 zip file. Then I got to run around my home city to find help. Then there's a guy. He had to open the back cover and connect directly to the circuit board in order to do something about the eMMC and SEtool or... something, I'm not sure. The phone is alive again! (costed quite a lot for a student, but... yay?). Funny though, he said the circuit board is similar to a z2 and not a z3. Maybe you could find someone who knows about these kinds of thing. Hope that help.

Yeah, I think? I mean, it's right out of the box. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that the guy had to use SEtool twice to get mobile signal.
Did you fix the problem? I have the same problem now.
With a Z3v. D6708. I have a problem, got a wrong ROM, the flashee and now not start the phone in any way. The only way to start is "System Recovery" volume + power, which has 4 options: 1. "Continue Power UP", 2. "Safe mode", 3. "Factory Reset" and 4. "Power Down". The thing is try from flashtool but when I give "volume down" and connect the computer does not recognize. When light it even reaches the boot animation. When I give power with USB cable is connected in a loop is vibrating and shows red, blue and green.
I have exactly the same problem of the youtube video.
As it could fix the problem?
Some help ?
Thank you !

Bricked for days!
Is anyone still following this thread. I have the same problem after trying to install MIUI 6 on my rooted unlocked TWRP'd Xperia z3V. After the MIUI installation I have nothing but the symptoms below.
Not able to get into flashmode
No screen or bootup
No recovery
Symptoms:
1 -When plugged into PC or wall it only blinks RED/GREEN light and vibrates.
2 -Holding POWER the light turns and stays GREEN until released (then returns to #1)
3 -Holding POWER + VOLUME UP BLUE light stays on and puts phone in Fastboot mode
4 -Holding POWER + VOLUME DOWN does nothing (continues to do #1)
Please Help!!!
Google Sony Developers. Try to unlock your bootloader.
Sent from my D6708 using XDA-Developers mobile app
I think the phone will reject the command. Tried on a bricked z3v and that's the response I get from fastboot with the Sony commands given through the developer aite.

The phone is not and most likely never will be bootloader unlocked. Planning to buy for another phone is your only option.
I've already moved to a tmo note 4. Not much development there either, but it's nice. Miss the z seires though and may come back to it next year. We'll see how they fair with phones for the next few months state side abs if prices even out on the x or z5.

Unless you're going to post a link or YouTube video we all have access to, wouldn't bother asking people for direct email addresses to send them. That's the reason for PM'S and the forum on general. If you have a fix, we'd all like to know what it is you were able to do that none of us have figured out.

S6 Edge SM-G925F Potential Brick

Hi All,
I know there are alot of similar threads but I would just like to get the forums opinion on what my options are with my bricked SM-G925F S6 Edge mobile?
Just to outline the chain of events, the phone is all stock, no custom kernel or custom ROM. and was never rooted. After applying the pushed Samsung Android update the phone crashed I manually rebooted via recovery mode and had to do a full system wipe as it continued to crash on boot. After reaching a stable boot the update was requesting to be downloaded once again which I accepted. All looked well and seemed to apply the update but the boot cycle crashed and has been un responsive ever since.
Tried to recover the device as below but no joy:
1.Long press power
2.Attempted power+volume down
3.No Recovery mode power+volume up+home
4.No Download mode power+volume down+home
5.All buttons together power+volume up/down+home
6.Plugging oem power charger no response
I would appreciate any advice, is a jtag the next route ?
Thanks in advance

Hi All,
I know there are alot of similar threads but I would just like to get the forums opinion on what my options are with my bricked SM-G925F S6 Edge mobile?

1. What exactly is the phone doing now?
2. You deffinately cant boot into download mode? Try holding buttons for about 20 seconds and keep repeating?
3. Is the device detected when plugged into pc/smart switch?
4. Did you ever enable dev options and usb debugging?

Current status unresponsive.
My hope was download mode but not happening.
No detection via smart switch.
Dev options would have been enabled yes.
Any merit in opening up to physically disconnect reconnect battery?

The first thing would be to flash stock.. but as you can't get into download mode its a bit tricky.
Have you tried to initialize phone with serial and imei with smart switch? This should detect phone and run emergency software fix?
I wouldnt attempt to remove my battery as you have to heat up the back to melt the glue to remove the glass.
Sometimes when the phone is in the state it is in its hard to get to download mode but it eventually does.
Try to get it powered off, keep holding power and vol down or just power for 20-40 seconds. It will eventually go off then try download mode.

If the phone still can be powered on but it's stuck somewhere during boot, can force reset by pressing power+vol down for 30s or more.

Not getting anywhere with the powering off/download mode, sounds defeatist, but looks like its done.
Does it mean anything that the phone doesn't recognise the power charger is connected either?

If it wont power on or recognise power charger that sounds like actually bricked phone or hardware problem. Safest way would be to just take it to service centre

Ok that's fair enough then. Will see if they can revive it.
What percentage chance of survival would you give it. 50/50 ?

Sorry for the delay in updating the outcome on this. Life got in the way. So basically the bootloader was bricked and needed rebuilding. JTAG was needed so was pretty lucky.

Phone doesnt turn on anymore

Hi!
Today i shut down my device because i wanted to do a backup. But now my phone is not turning on anymore and i am also not comming in the recovery menu.
I am on the International 15s version i think and i didnt change anything, besides installing the adb drivers today.
There is no LED, and the phone is also dead if i plug it into the charger / to a pc. It is like in this video: https://youtu.be/x_h7phOFalc
Is there anything i can do?
Thank you!
Same Problem
I have Same Problem... I put the plug in the phone and Wall... Nothing... No LED No Boot.... I send it back to the Shop and I weit
I remember during the times when I had 1s that the guys were putting them on charge with the wall charger for 12 hours and then the led would come to life. Try that.
Of course that was an mtk chipset, but it might work for you as well.
Okay, i already left it on the charger for > 6 hours but no signs of life so far
Hi Guys,
You probably already tried that, but hold the "Power" button for at least 12 or 15 seconds.
I had the same problem : my phone went down after battery was depleted. I hook it up for 30 minutes... and thought it won't wake up.
But pressing the "Power" button really long helped...
Regards.

Did you try plugging it in a different wall power socket? Also try using different wire and charging adapter. Try charging it from your PC's USB 3 port as (USB 3 port has slightly high power)

Hi,
Yes i plugged it into 3 different sockets with 2 different chargers and 2 different cables, also via usb 3 and usb 2. No signs of life.
The only thing that happens is: When i connect it to the pc, it sometimes makes this "bing" for a connected usb device. The Windows Device Manager Shows me a "QUSB_BULK". But i cannt communicate to the phone via fastboot...
Any other ideas ?

What do you mean with recovery?
The display is always black, im not comming into recovery mode
Your device seems to be in Qualcomm Recovery mode.
Does it boot into fastboot mode?
Keep ( Power and Vol Down ) button combo pressed till you get the fastboot screen with chinese characters.
If you get that screen, then you can flash TeamSpain recovery, then perform factory reset and sideload any CM13 based rom.
If you do not get any of that, then I am afraid that you have to visit nearest LE Eco Service center to re-flash the factory firmware.

I suspect your usb port could be broken and your phone is out of juice, so there is no way of bringing it back to life without the usb port. If you trust your DIY skills, you can watch a tear down video and hopefully see if all is well inside.

Hmm the battery had over 80% as this happend... I dont want to loose my warranty if i open it
Maybe there is no other way than sending it back to china
Then you should give it to Le Eco service center.
Did u find out what the problem was? Same thing happened to mine! It started with screen being unresponsive in the lower parts of the phone, then when I powered it off to see if that would help, it just wouldn't power on anymore. No sign of life! Wtf is happening

Ulefone Power 3s bricked

Hey all
Bought this phone because it seemed great on paper.
Sadly I had very huge trouble getting twrp and root on it.
Tried the one post on xdevelpoers and got my phone finally bricked.
It starts up and resets all the time. It doesnt get past the "orange state, your device has been unlocked, please wait 5 seconds for boot"
It just crashes after 3 seconds and restarts all the time. Im unable to get into recovery or fastboot or anything.
This ****ing **** is driving me crazy. Ive never seen so many false information on the internet.
I had many phones bricked but still easy fixed. This is completly new for me and never happened before.

If I try power button + volume up: Phone vibrates. Stays black for 3 seconds. Then (I think) it resets, vibrates again and simply tries to boot the phone.
After that the phone just resets after 3-5 seconds forever.
Before the bricking, this usualy lead me directly to a screen where I could choose recovery or fastbood mode.
Power button + volume down doesnt do anything I believe (neither did it before)
Alright I got something else now.
Read about some unbricking ways.
One suggested launching SP flash tool, clicking on auto format and starting it. Then plugging the phone in.
I did that. It said formatting success after like 3 seconds.
Now my phone doesnt boot at all. Its just black. Nothing happens when I power on. No vibration.
LED still shows when I try to charge. PC also now says unknown usb device or something detected.
Is it all over now lol?

I don't think so but a lot of devices In situations like this require either a unlocked bootloader and USB debugging. I will try to see if I can help you. I know if your frustrated. And this is not really my area but I try to help as many as possible

To be able to fully help you right, I would have to know your devices name or build number( example sm-a510f) and just possibly if you are able to access anything

So flash tool needs drivers to allow it to see your device see if you have installed the driver's and see what happens......
Have here one such device and it won`t power up even after flashing with
GQ3056MF2_HCS986A_ulefone_20180620_G18
