While we wait for patches to be merged, I have patched framework-res.apk from the 20150210 nightly build to enable the missing navigation bar menu. The zip file below can be flashed on top of the latest cm12 nightly build to enable the missing navigation bar menu.
EDIT: Patch removed because the fix is now successfully merged into 20150212 nightly build.
Note: the contents of framework-res.apk does not change very often, but I will update this link when necessary (until it is fixed in the official sources).

I created this thread because there was no proper place to post for the current status of the official nightly cm12 builds for v500. We don't want to use the cm11 thread for cm12.

The only issue I've have is with the SD card. It will not allow apps to move to it and sometimes it becomes unmountable until I reboot.
Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

Problems with moving apps to the sdcard could caused by SuperSU. Try disabling "mount namespace separation" in the SuperSU settings, if you are using SuperSU.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Only problem I have is "SD Card removed unexpectedly". Using an alternative Kernal (Redkernal 14 or mani) cures this but it has to be reinstalled after every update. Any chance this problem can be cured without having to change kernals. Also CM updater is not working , downloads OK but tab reboots instead of going into recovery. CyanDelta works so I use this.

I think we need to gather more info on which sdcards are causing the problem and maybe we can find something in common between them.
Card info needed: brand, size, type of file system, firmware base.

Mine: Sandisk 64GB XC fat32 Ext4

I'm using a Verbatim Premium Class 10 UHS-I MicroSDXC Card 64GB with 4.2.2 firmware base and I have never had problems with the stock kernel causing unmounts. How do you know the card is unmounting? Is there a message that pops up?

Yes message as inside quotes on my previous msg. I am on 4.4.2 base. This has been happening ever since 20150115 nightly. Never had problem on CM 11 nightlies.

The unmount problem on stock cm12 could be related to the ext4 partition on your sdcard. Ext4 is not an officially supported sdcard format, so there is probably very little testing with the sdcard drivers going on. At least, if I were to try and guess.
I suggest a single fat32 partition.

I have updated the Navigation Bar Patch on post #3 for todays build on 20150210. Usually, framework-res.apk does not change very often, but I will keep the link in post #3 updated when necessary (until it is fixed in the official sources).

I have reformatted my SD card as fat32 and it still gives the message "SD card unexpectedly removed" after each update. I also have a Galaxy S4 which is running Lollipop 5.0.2 and an ext 4 32GB Sandisk Ultra SD card and it does not dismount or remove itself. Only problem I have with the S4 is have to do updates manually because neither CWM or CyanDelta will run them automatically.

The "missing navigation bar menu" patch is now successfully merged into the cm12 sources. Tomorrow's build (20150212) will be fixed and I will then remove the temp patch I posted.
Special thanks to @infected_ and @slebit for the info and support.

@Deltadroid I just want to personally thank you for keeping our tablet alive.
It's an excellent piece of hardware that still has strong specs even to today's standards. It doesn't seem to get much love. Most people went with a Samsung I'm guessing.
Thanks for keeping our overlooked and under-appreciated device breathing with the latest software!

I just didn't like Samsung's big ugly physical button.

I just didn't like the lack of decent materials and buildquality on Samsung's tablet ?

*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed.
This rom is for both the Nook Tablet 512M/8GB and 1GB/16GB versions. The device code name is "acclaim".
Prerequisites:
A CWM recovery. To install CWM when coming from a stock device, you need to prepare a special SD card. Installation instructions can be found here on xda.
Installation:
Grab a new recovery (e.g. here http://tinyw.in/FKZO) and flash it with fastboot. Only newer recoveries make sure that you can use the "reboot to recovery" feature that is needed for CM updater.
If you have a recent unofficial CM 10.1 installed just try the updater, otherwise download the zip from nightlies, boot to CWM and flash it.
Once a version is installed, you can update with CM Updater
Settings->About tablet->CyanogenMod updates->Refresh
Nightlies:
http://get.cm/?device=acclaim
Changelog:
http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#acclaim/cm10.1/next
Building:
The CM wiki explains that here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_acclaim
Returning to stock BN firmware:
If you have installed above rom and the CWM recovery and you really hate it and want to go back to stock, you may wish to try to flash the original acclaim_update.zip from BN. You have to unzip that file and edit META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script. Drop the first two lines here:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "blaze" ||
getprop("ro.build.product") == "blaze");
Zip the package again. Then go to CWM, flash the zip, wipe, and reboot.
Support:
For any issues encountered, please post into this forum, but add steps to reproduce and dmesg and logcat information. If you don't know what this is or how to get them, try to find that out first before posting here.
Developers:
hashcode, kuzma30, fattire, mik_os, chrmhoffmann, and many others that contribute to cyanogenmod and especially this version
Thanks:
kuzma30 - great kernel job
hashcode - we have reused lots of your work and effort for the various omap devices (esp kindle fire). It is thanks to you mainly that we are now official CM device.
mik_os - great touchscreen firmware flasher and other efforts
fattire - for helping us everywhere he can
Reserved as usual
for later.
Sweet!!!
Finally we are in!
Thanks team.
Love you all
Wow, just wow. It took random reboots, brightness problems, super battery drain, and so many other obstacles to get to this point. And hey, it was worth it
On both nightlies now, if I use the About > CM Updates > The update process went fine but it the tablet will be stucked on the boot up screen. I left it alone for 20 mins so I just power it off/on again and it booted up just fine. Second issues and it might be due to the app but Rom Toolbox wont change the cpu speed even when set to apply on boot after a reboot, but if you set the cpu slider manually within the app, it will stay there.
If I recall correctly my Droid Razr running latest update was doing the same thing.

please catch logcat output when reporting problems like this. I have not seen that. I updated with CM updater from EXPERIMENTAL build to first nightly just fine.

How is battery consumption performance of these current nightlies, compared to that of CM10.0 builds circa late December last year?
I updated to this from 4.1 and it broke the market - won't launch. Is there a gapps download I could flash that would work, or should I try something else?

Welcome
installed logcat latest update went without issue. Plugged NT into comp and all I get is charging, fired up logcat and all I really see when plugin is battery info: false though I do see quite a few error but not pertaining to that.
Error writing to /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/interactive/boostpulse: No such device.
Update: seems its finicky on the type of cable, i use a regular cable and all it does is charging but if I use the NT cable, it detected usb connection and prompt for turning on storage.
I'm on the first nightly on the 8gb and running incredibly smooth. Only thing I wish for now is a kernel with overclocking to help compensate for the 512ram.

Thanks for this ROM its flawless. I have a question though. I want to set the internal storage drive to read as the SD card. I tried to edit vold.fstab and got nowhere. Any tips? I have a feeling the answer is already out there but I can't seem to find it. Thanks again.

You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
REPORT BUGS IN THIS THREAD ONLY
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

The issues with Superuser are part of the CM10.2 bring-up process. There's technically a simple fix for it, but is has other implications. The easiest way to correct the issue for now is to go into development settings, and just toggle root access option.
As far as link2sd, I don't understand why you would use that on such a new firmware ? That's meant for outdated devices that had limited internal storage.

I got a logcat with some info on trickstermod interaction and that subway surf blackscreen problem, hope it sheds some light.
The headphone jack does not work, but it still responds when something is plugged into it/removed. When I have music player playing a song, it plays through the speakers fine, then when I plug in an AUX cable, it doesn't come through the headphones. When I remove AUX it stops playing like it normally would.

Mine works, try reflashing the OS and make sure you wipe system like 4 or 5 times.
edit: I take it back, it worked for a bit on headphone jack then some weird static and the headphone jack went dead. Here is another logcat, unplugging and replugging the headphone and restarting pandora and trying it again, same dead jack. Maybe I'll get lucky and logcat the jack going haywire in the act.
Weird, I got the headphone jack issue thing randomly, rebooted and I don't know if it did that again. But I have been having this problem with music files failing to play off my sdcard, it gets corrupted randomly. Heres another log, just take a peek at the errors I guess.
The headphone jack started to work after I rebooted my phone, but it stopped when I rebooted again. Also, another thing I've noticed is my app folders I try to create get undone after reboot. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.
I few apks got corrupted after a reboot and I had to reinstall them, reddit news, and the adobe flash player apk in my browser.

I dirty flashed with no issues.
A quick note for those who want to get Facebook and Messenger working . Delete the following files in your file browser (note that you must enable root access for apps in Developer Options):
/data/app/com.facebook.katana-1/lib/arm/libsslx.so
/data/app/com.facebook.orca-1/lib/arm/libsslx.so
Note that you still won't be able to make phone or voice calls in FB/Messenger.

Read this post. My guess is that you do not need it. CM13 was unofficial earlier, which meant the official branch had incompatibilities with VS985, which were fixed with the Nuke-it flash. The latest official adoption, and merge, have resolved these already, but Invisiblek would be able to clarify better than I.
Thanks for the Rom. Will report on any undocumented bugs.
Reformat ext sd card?
Does CM13 still require you to reformat any external SD card it recognizes? Sorry, haven't tried this new version, and will have to back up my card if this is still a requirement
TIA
:cyclops:
The ROM itself is running STUPID fast on my phone. Love the speed of everything.
I am having issues with this not maintaining the Connection to my Android Wear device. It seems to disconnect, and then forget the connection. Facebook and Snapchat will not start, even after deleting the folders in the previous posts.
Anyone here tested out Qi Charging yet?
Trouble connecting/authenticating to Enterprise WiFi after flashing. Credentials are being rejected and authentication is failing. Has anyone else experienced this?
This happens with a fresh or dirty install. It's almost as if the cert isn't being accepted/applied.

I think this might be a Bluetooth problem in general--I have to re-pair my car to my phone every time I get in.

Works fine for me!
I saw in the other thread that there were data issues with some builds. Have those been resolved, or is it still inconsistent?

I read somewhere that if you try booting twrp, unmount then remount the sdcard, it may work

@invisiblek with the 35b bootstack, can I flash it if I'm on 12.1 still? And then the subsequent radio as well?

I didn't have any issues, though it did ask me to configure my sd card. Basically, you can decide to use the "transfer" option, which leaves it alone, or you can format it as internal storage. Note: if you go with the internal storage, it won't work with any other devices and will require a format.
---------- Post added at 06:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:04 PM ----------
Has anyone had any issues with the phone crashing randomly? I dirty flashed over my 12.1 nightly (a recent one), updated all possible gapps, and flashed the new xposed module.
Update: I decided to flash the firmware suggested in the top post, and updated supersu at the same time. Now its stuck on a boot animation loop apparently. I call this progress, because if I call it anything else I might just break down and cry. I'm preparing myself mentally for the inevitable full wipe I most likely face.

You don't need supersu cm has it built in.

But will I be able to use the ext sd card if I flash a backed 12.1?

Anybody using our tried sending mms? If it worked, then how?
The messaging apps I tried are : stock, textra, Google messenger, hangouts and one called yaati or something.
All failed for me.

You have to first change SELinux to permissive, then flash super su.
I didn't see it mentioned as a bug so it might be a new policy for CM but does the advanced reboot option in dev settings always revert to unchecked after reboot?

I just sent a picture to test and it went through just fine, my phone was connected to Wi-Fi as well so it actually did the Wi-Fi to data handoff pretty quickly. This was using the stock messaging app.

[ROM][6.0][AOSP][{Un,}Official] LineageOS 13.0 (Marshmallow)

LineageOS 13.0 (Marshmallow) {un,}official builds for the Droid Razr
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:

*/
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.
Use these builds on your own risk!

Added (very slow) emulation of idiv-operations not supported by Omap4 but required by newer blobs (gapps swype, widevine)
2015-12-07:
First build for most devices
What's working:
Phone (tested on Verizon and on GSM/UMTS in Europe)
Mobile data
WiFi
GPS
Camera
HDMI
Playback of DRM-protected content (using Widevine from sprout)
Reboot to recovery
What's not working:
Probably most everything else, including, but not limited to:
Data encryption (due to safestrap)
Gapps:
OpenGApps
If you install Gapps after the ROM has been booted for the first time you either need to wipe data or manually delete /data/system/users/0/runtime-permissions.xml and reboot. Without this Gapps will crash constantly. This is due to the new permissions-system in M.
Installation:
You need a recovery supporting SELinux
A version of Safestrap (3.75) which supports SELinux can be found here: https://github.com/stargo/android_packages_apps_Safestrap/releases/tag/v3.75
Please read the instructions on how to install this version and follow the order of the steps in it.
GSM users with XT912:
These versions (both unofficial and official) automatically switch to GSM/UMTS without installing additional patches.

I think i will create a slot...Hail razr!!!!
Thanks for the thread! I can finally post in this thread now. As always, great work on getting MM preforming excellently on the RAZR and other OMAP-4 devices.
The only problems I see with the last two builds is my gps. I find no satelites in cm13. On cm11 and CM12 I find and lock on to 13 satelites almost instantly, under cm13 none. I use gps toolbox to test as it works on my Moto xpe running marshmallow, so I know it's os compatible.

Thank you @stargo. You've done a fine job indeed.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but I can't seem to switch to 2G/EDGE. When I go to settings>mobile networks>preferred network type and switch it to 2G, nothing happens - it stays on HSDPA. I tested this because I noticed Intelli3G and Smart Network xposed modules didn't seem to ever switch device to 2G.

Hey there @stargo, thanks for those latest fixes, but I found something that may be of your concern:
For some reason, the "mount point" for the internal storage is being mounted inside the /data partition (shared with /system, as you know, of course) and not in the actual internal storage partition. I'm on a XT910 and when I look though the system I see that the "internal storage" has only 3,45GB (which is the system/data partition, not the actual internal storage), and the actual internal storage (7,9GB partition) is nowhere to be found. When I booted into BootStrap I could actually see the 8GB internal storage instead of the 3,45GB (system/data) storage.
Edit: Stock ROM slot.

I can't access the calendar.. It asks for my Google account and then says it already exists. Probably not ROM related though.

Hey there,
Well, i'm actually on Stock slot. Which is what worries me. It's the only 'major bug' I have found so far with this build.
I seem to have problem with the music app volume, when press play and sound suddenly increased. one was like me? Other software may resolve the issue . @stargo, great build, my phone is very fast :good:.

Nvm, the internal storage bug still persists.
wifi passwords arent being stored. just FYI.
@transi1 Try going into the App info screen for the app that is having problems with storage, and give it storage permission. That solved a few problems for me. hope this helps.

The strange internal storage is not a bug (sadly). Marshmallow removed support for internal sdcards and now only supports /data/media or external sdcards as primary sdcard. The wrong amount of displayed memory is due to a workaround I added to have the internal storage accessible at all again: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/6e21e5dc91ee06089b73a058cea871359810a994

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Root is not included by default on LineageOS 14.1. You need to install an add-on via recovery. You only need to install this once. You can download the SU add-on here
After installation go to Settings>Developer Options>Root access and set to Apps only or Apps and ADB.
LineageOS comes with LineageOS Recovery by default, if you don't like it (like me ) you can flash alternative recoveries using IsoRec. You really need 1GB /system partition. The smallest build-configuration is larger than 512mb. You can use ODIN, but you can also use Lanchon's REPIT.
If you're interested in BLN, check this thread for a complete support of this feature.
If you're interested to go to emulated-storage, check this thread.

I think ist is just a mistake and should mean "open gapps"

In General forum? Why not in Original Android Development?
Which GApps exactly?
Just to prevent from questions like "which GApps architecture and version do I need?"
This link will show you the minimal OpenGapps variant independently of your last visits (cookies never forget you)
http://opengapps.org/?download=false&arch=arm&api=7.1&variant=pico
(so only the variant needs to be changed if you prefer bigger packages)
Edit: Check this post to see how to create a customizable config that allows you to control the OpenGApps installer, e.g. to downsize bigger GApps packages for flashing Pixel Launcher while skipping other components you don't want. Included a sample config-file there as well.

Only if you're coming from cm13 without losing data (i.e. your apps installed). Otherwise - wipe clean and install the recent nightly only (and gapps if you wish).
-3. Get a good cup of coffee.
-2. You must have at least 1GB partition of /system. If not, first repartition your storage (see OP) and then come back to here to proceed.
-1. Proceed to oficial download site: "https://download.lineageos.org/i9100 for the current build, https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=154035 for the experimental build, thanks to @ale5000 for uploading this for us.
0. Download the latest 2 following files: Nightly and Experimental (as for now lineage-14.1-20170208-experimental-i9100-signed.zip and lineage-14.1-20170208-nightly-i9100-signed.zip). Verify their md5 checksum to prevent errors, it is vital to do so.
Optional - download gapps from [url]http://opengapps.org/[/URL] for android 7.1, ARM (the nano is fine for me).
1. Boot into recovery. Install the "experimental" zip (Dirty flash! No wipes!).
1.5. You can reboot now into system, just to get a systemUI crash errors and a blank screen. Pretty useless. If you got to here then force reboot to recovery and proceed to step 2.
2. Reboot into recovery! Install the "Nightly" zip and gapps.
3. Wipe cache and boot to system.
There you go kiddo'.
Good luck! :fingers-crossed:

It is relatively very stable to me, most is working! Phone and RIL, audio, GPS, BT, and a lot more!
I believe battery has improved too. Performance is very well.
This is my only phone, I rely on this phone, and on my daily use no problems so far! And yeah this ROM rocks!:good:
Go for it dude!
I experience a problem with libUMP making my own build. Is this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=69920779 still a working solution?

-2. You must have at least 1GB partition of /system. If not, first repartition your storage (see OP) and then come back to here to proceed.
-1. Go to https://download.lineageos.org/i9100.
Optional - download gapps from http://opengapps.org/ for android 7.1, ARM (the nano is fine for me).

People asked for a simple migrating guide from CM13 to LOS14.1, if someone isn't heading to switch to emulated I don't see a reason to send people to install an emu-recovery while they don't wish to.
It should be a decision for users.
Therefore I don't see a reason to include special addtional options besides the basics (exp+nightly+gapps). Whoever wants to expand more should simply read the OP and the links.
As for myself yes, I'm on emu now.

Could we have a short video to show how to switch to emulated storage?
Regards.
New build lineage-14.1-20170213-nightly-i9100-signed.zip is up

Hmm, because this phone is my main and only phone, I won't be able to test that soon (reverting recovery and ROM to cm13, reverting repartitioning too, then starting to trial and error).
But I believe that the safest way is to start from the moving to LOS14.1 - flashing the experimental and nightly first, as I guided. Then later flash emu-twrp recovery and proceed with rINanDO's instructions.
I'm afraid doing opposite (emu'ing first and then flash exp+nightly) might not work since Lanchon and the guys warned us that this emu-kernel might not work even with cm13 and maybe even affect it! Maybe repiting manually with Lanchon's magic REPIT would do, then migrate ROM, then change to new emu-recovery.
PLEASE:
- don't direct-link to recoveries that will brick your phone if installed too early.
- read the linked threads in the opening posts to understand the complexity of any of the changes
- if understood the consequences and you still want to do them all at once: know your limits
- if still feeling comfortable until here: go ahead *but do it in the correct order* or your phone will bootloop as all the newer test-recoveries were built with a Nougat ramdrive and thus will very very likely bootloop on your phone if installed on non-Nougat ROMs!
So my advice for your own safety: stay in your lane and read everything first.
EDIT: And by the way: please keep emulated storage discussions in the appropriate thread until it is officially tested and documented to be kind of noob-proof.
