If you are on CyanogenMod or AOSP go into the developpers settings and you will find advanced reboot

[Q] How to add reboot and recovery on power button on void echo?

I saw that there's the reboot and recovery menu available by pressing the power button on other roms. Is there any way to put things like these on void? I saw some guides out there but it only works on specific devices..
I'm flashing things and customizing my android frequently so I thought that putting these on the power button can speed up the process.
The power menu is ROM/THEME specific. If you flash a rom which does not include this option then the power setting will not have reboot or recovery option.
Why don't you install one of the theme found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=916006
The honeycomb one has working power options
On a side note: if you don't want to install themes, then just install terminal emulator from the market.
Type su
reboot (to reboot) or
recovery (to reboot into recovery)

(REQ) Reboot -> Hot Reboot in Power Button Menu

We all know about the actual limitations for the reboot option to be implemented in GB, so can the HOT REBOOT be implemented instead the NORMAL REBOOT like an option in power button menu? i have a widget for that but would be a great addition to a Custom ROM.

ClockworkMod's ROM Manager gives you the option of rebooting into recovery, amongst other useful features
Search for ROM Manager in the Play store.

Extended Power Menu Options?

Hey guys, I was searching and searching but didnt find a thing, so plz help me.
I have a rooted, odexed, international galaxy note 2 (stock rom) 4.1.2 XXDLK7, what I want is the extended power menu options.
The power menu options are the options that appear when after pressing and holding the power button, if u want to shut down or restart ur device for example.
The EXTENDED power menu options are options that allow u to have these options also: Hot boot, soft reboot, reboot into recovery, download mode, etc
Thanks anyway!
Have been searching too. From being on TW rom now i am back to stock and want to add that feature. Would be very pleased if someone helps!

My fast boot option is selected, I forgot my password & I'm locked out of my one max. I can't hard reset it (because it just turns the phone on) & I can't adb in to reboot. Any ideas? *aargh*
Sorry, I obviously didn't carefully read what you'd posted. I used your trick and it worked beautifully, thanks so much!
