[Q] [Help] Battery Drops to 1% from 20%[KK ST18i] - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

My Xperia Ray Running on Kitkat 4.4.4 is facing a sudden battery drain. When the battery is about 20-25%, It suddenly drops down to 1%. :crying:
Is there any method to solve this?
I had tried flashing the ICS firmware. and again flashing the Kitkat Kernel. This did not fix the issue.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

As someone who had this problem in the past with a different Sony device (X10 Mini), I'd say that if the problem persists, try a new battery.

problem is most likely weak battery, you'll probably need new one soon.

Occasional shut downs

Is anyone else experiencing occasional shut downs? The phone just shuts down when not in use.
Is this just my phone or is it coomon?
any ideas how to fix it?
Firmware is updated to 2.3.3 with Kies.
Hey !
I don't have the solution, but my phone does the same.
I have the leaked firmware 2.3.4 XXKPH
Anyone got an answer ?
It's called "wake up from sleep" bug, nothing you can really do about this unless you flash a rom without this bug.
Cynogenmod wich will be released soon is built from scratch i believe, so probably it wonthave this bug.
edit: or "SOD" (screen of death)
Hey!
You can try this ROM.
From here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1184108
Its pretty good one.
CHEERS!
I've had this problem with all the ROM's I've tried. Stock, coderom and gingerreal
It is really starting to annoy me so if anyone knows of a fix I would be greatful to hear it
Hey!
You can drop here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1191262 and leave some feedback if you want.
CHEERS!
Try flashing to KPN firmware.
And also everytime you flash to a new firmware, don't forget to reset to factory settings and erase cache partition in boot recovery console.
Did you have problems and fixed it with the KPN firmware?
Also isn't the CPU clock not to low when idle?
My girlfriends Ace isn't rooted so i can't check.
But maybe someone can try to put the
idle speed a little higher in SetCPU.
It's just a wild guess

Yes, in my case the occasional SODs stopped when switching from 2.3.4 KPH to 2.3.3 KPN firmware.
My wife's Ace is on 2.3.3 KPL and the problem is there.

Galaxy S II auto power off after updating to 4.1.2

Hi there guys..
I just got my SGSII updated to 4.1.2 and i got a strange auto power off while the battery was fully charged..
My phone was 4.0.4.. Got it to a fully data wipe before and then updated to 4.1.2.. Also did a full data wipe on 4.1.2..
It runs perfect.. fast no battery issues exept off that strange auto power off.. I switched my phone back on no problem but I never had this problem before the update..
Please note that i have these power off's on my wife's SGSII too after updating to 4.1.2..
Anyone has any ideas regarding this ??
Thanx in advance..

I flash on both the official stock 4.1.2 (spain release).. Mine was the first time yesterday.. the phone was on idle state.. just took it to check the time and if i had messages and it was powered off..
On my wife's i had this problem with test release so i thought that it was because of that.. it happed 3-4 as far as i know.. Again the phone on idle state and fully charged..
thanx..

Battery always at 100%.

I'm facing a weird problem. It happens with ctcaers kernel and some custom ROMS like hd ultimate , zelly cream etc.
Battery percentage stays at 100% all the time.
I don't think that it is a hardware problem because battery meter is correct with other kernels. It is also correct with JB roms.
Has anyone a solution ?
Thanks

Even I experienced this weird problem... The things i did was,
Flash the stock ROM first and then try different ICS Kernels and boot up to see which works fine ( Because the problem is only in certain ICS Kernels , I experienced this problem only in the kernel kappa v1.7 )
Yes , flashing another kernel like Lupus solves the problem.
I will try now. Because i flashed stock rom but it isnt solves.
Try bettery calibrator from to fix the problem.

trying stock rom alone doesn't solve the problem, after flashing stock ROM flash some Other custom Kernel and see if battery meter works ....
this problem is only in some kernel like Kappa 1.7 etc...

Hey ..
PROBLEM :=>>
I think There is a problem with stock ICS kernel that it shows battery 100% always and you can not get right percentage of battery remaining by widgets and other apps from play store...
It happens with me when i flash stock ICS firmware ...
When you pull out the battery for some minutes/hours it shows 100% it is not hardware problem it is kernel problem...
SOLUTION :==>
This problem happened with me for sometimes i searched on google and xda but couldn't get proper solution that works 100%...
Reboot to CWM recovery...
Go to ADVANCED=> WIPE BATTERY STATS
POWER OFF phone
Flash custom kernel using flashtool in fastboot mode...
AND you are done..
This solution works for sure and i have done this for quite times 100% working with XPERIAS ...:good:
RAGE KERNEL problem :==>
I have tried rage kernel v3.2 but i am not satisfied with that ...:crying:
Battery drains quickly without usage (in 6 hours battery drains 25% without turning on screen)
Phone is getting heat because of over clocking ...
Sometimes phones hangs in such way that no hardware buttons works and screen is on touchscreen not works...i have to pull out battery and restart it...
QUESTION :==>
As there is a problem with ICS stock kernel we have to flash custom kernel ....
What is the best kernel for stock ICS .587???

Best kernel is Kappa v1.6 ( but Battery is always in 100% , when I came back to ICS from JB ) So after Kappa kernel , Lupus Kernel is the best...... :good:

I tried KAPPA kernel but still 100% always problem is not solving by this kernel ...
Then i tried LUPUS kernel but it is working awkwardly my system was not booting up only kernel boot ...so this also failed...
Then i flashed RAGE kernel and got battery percentage back and then flashed stock kernel back by stock ftf file.......
Now if i will pull out my battery the problem will still continues .....
So i am still finding a BEST KERNEL........

What you are trying to tell is to Flash the FIRST EXPERIMENTAL V1 rom which was released in MARCH 2013.
http://support.moulnisky.com/index.php?dir=Micromax/00_A Serie/A116/Software version/
May be you dont have this problem but most of users will get two major issues after it.
1) Frequest IMEI losing issue after many custom roms.
2) Occassional Screen Blinking Issue.
And some more weird issues we faced in March 2013. We have these issues when experimented custom roms in 2013. IN FACT, I REPLACED MY PHONE FROM SERVICE CENTER, AFTER SAME ISSUE.
As maker of many roms here I always recommended people to flash latest V5 STOCK rom and then only try our custom roms, so most of the issues are solved by Micromax in V5. Battery drop is just a VISIBILITY ISSUE. Its nothing to do with phone's actual battery performance.
According to me its not recommended. We are on A116 V5 version of ROM right now.
If anyone have extra time and want to experiment, you are still free. :silly:
Charging
Guyzz,
2 weeks ago i hand over my A 116 to service center for removing some dirt on its
LCD screen and in front camera...
so, everything was good but another day when i bring back my phone...
i started to face charging issue... when i plugged my device on charging it was 60% left and in some hours... boom! it got 15%!
god! horrible...but some how i managed to charge my battery but in a week... my device stopped charging... when i put it on charge nothings happen and i
'm very sad about it...
what should i do?:crying:
