Porting to a Mtk6735 Device (Cubot X17)

Afternoon all,
I have a Cubot X17 (MT6735) Device, now I'm seeing a lack of ROMs for this phone or information on regarding porting.
One thing I have noted with some of the guides I have found, is they require the MT device to have the same chip and GPU, I have managed to acquire the following information of my phone as speaking to the manufacture when they are releasing Marsh Mallow is like talking to a brick wall.
My CPU
Code:
SoC Model: MediaTek MT6735
Core Architecture: 4x ARM Cortex-A53 @ 1300 MHz
Manufacturing Process: 28 nm
Instruction Set: 64-bit ARMv8-A
CPU Revision: r0p3
CPU Cores: 4
CPU Clock Range: 299 - 1300 MHz
Core 1 Clock: 1300 MHz
Core 2 Clock: 1300 MHz
Core 3 Clock: 1300 MHz
Core 4 Clock: (sleeping)
CPU Utilization: 17 %
Scaling Governor: interactive
Supported ABIs: arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, armeabi
Supported 32-bit ABIs: armeabi-v7a, armeabi
Supported 64-bit ABIs: arm64-v8a
AES: Supported
NEON: Supported
SHA1: Supported
SHA2: Supported
My GPU
Code:
<< OpenCL Device - Mali-T720 >>
Device Name: Mali-T720
Device Type: GPU
Device Vendor: ARM
Device Vendor ID: 0x07201000
Device Version: OpenCL 1.1
Device Profile: Full
Driver Version: 1.1
OpenCL C Version: OpenCL C 1.1
Clock Rate: 5 MHz
Compute Units: 2
Anyone shed some light as to if I can port or not. and if not alternative methods?
Try to read around XDA (search)... Found a thread explaining porting of MTK roms..
Found anything yet?
hey mate. I have a Smart Grand sp which is exactly like yours, only the brand name and the model name are different. have you found anything yet? does the ROM need to get ported? can we just flash a ROM from some phone which has exactly the same hardware? (i.e: your phones ROM on my phone?)
Sorry for the amateurish and stupid question if it is, cuz I don't have enough info in this regard.
hope to hear your answer and thank you in advance

[Help]CUSTOM ROM for Maxell H8-S MID tablet

[SOLVED] How to detect correct SOC - Qualcomm s650 ?

So the Kenzo (and Kate) definitely has a Qualcomm S650 SOC also known as MSM8956, but ...
Most utilities report the SOC as MSM8952 which is the code for S617, a very different chip
So when utility apps query the phone it reports back MSM8952 and the app will think it is a S617 but that is incorrect, it is a s650
My question is - what is the method for the app code to query and always return the correct result of MSM8956 ?
Many thanks
solved -
Dev queries the cpu frequency tables.
MSM8952, S617 has max cpu freq. = 1.4MHz
MSM8956, S650 has max cpu freq. = 1.8MHz

FW I tried to install QFIL (no box). The QFIL stopped with an error message.
Since then only EDL mode (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) starts without battery. No display, no led, no ADB.
The list of log.txt and FW files can be found here:

Would anyone look at what might be wrong? ALL Solutions can be formulated!
It can be used as FW or backup for someone? The FWs found are useless.
I'm sorry about the English translation, program.
Thanks in advance.

Help! DevCheck and Aida64 Show different CPU models and Android Versions...

Hi,
I've just purchased a Pad 6 Pro Tablet with the following claimed spec: Android 11 Inch 120Hz WQHD+ Snapdragon 870 + 10000mAh
I've installed both DevCheck and Aida64 to double check I wasn't scammed (AliExpress seller...)
They both show absolutely different specifications:
How can this be, and which one is right???!
DevCheck:
CPU: Mediatek MT6750 - MT6750V/C (and NOT snapdragon 870)
Android: 8.1.0 Oreo and NOT 11
GPU: ARM Mali-T860
Aida64:
CPU: Snapdragon 870
Android: 11
GPU: ARM Mali-T860
Maybe a fake one then. Check the files in the root - dev - proc if there is qcom or mtk texts in their names.
If it's MTK, you might be able to root it with Amazing temp root, mtk-su.
Bought a faked one years ago. Back then the faking data of these MTK devices was on the proinfo partition. Don't remember much but there was some Russian youtube video about.
check baseband. yet another app.

Its obvious fake. Snapdragon 870 ships with adreno 650 GPU. Mediatek MT6750 ships with mali graphics
