YEA I don't see that happing especially after the bootloader unlock. Maybe before it was unlocked people would have jumped on it, but your friends chances are definitely slim.
Didn't you gave the Rezound and switched to the Gnex when it released or did you keep it?

I saw the title and thought "OH **** NEWT IS GETTIN A GNEX?" But then I read
still got gnex? I've got a brand new rezound used for one week. Currently in its box where its been since I switched carriers
Didn't know where else to post so I posted here since this is my second home.. Lol
But yeah I looked but didn't see anything.
Looking to get this phone real cheap but wanting to see if there is any Dev support.

My wife has this phone as well, couldn't talk her into spending a little more money for a real phone. She likes a smaller screen even though she is always stealing mine when I'm home. I would love to root it and get some better battery life.

Look even closer and ics can manually be pushed, using the update.zip and factory recovery but you can't be rooted or have deleted any sprint apps..

Here, this method works for the viper too. Just download the last file and use 7zip to unzip it and follow the instructions. I rooted my LG Viper that has ICS on it.
If you do not have ICS on it use this method to root

Both methods work on either ICS or GB

Its been a while since I moved onto my one but just wondering if you guys think it be worth it to sell my LTE on eBay.
I customized it by buffing down a white housing and used a red kickstand. I also used a black LTE screen.
Any input on how much I should put it up for on eBay would be helpful.

Definitely. If "Guaranteed by x date" Means, you'll get it a year after you've moved onto your next phone (My thunderbolt getting ICS), then I would bet that "Strong possibility" means "We're too afraid to tell you we don't give a crap about DNA users anymore."
It's almost as if these HTC execs or whatever are taunting the owners. Lol. First it was 4.3 by the end of Sept. Then it was 4.2 and Sense 5 by the end of Sept. Then it was by the end of the year. Now there saying maybe 4.3, or even 4.4.
This is just rude.
They will probably have it submitted to Verizon by the end of the year and Verizon will test it for 2 more years.

It's not HTC's fault it's Verizon if it were up to them to push updates we would have 4.3 already. It's Verizon who controls it all and they don't do updates so people will go and buy the latest and greatest phone.

Weather we get 4.4 officially or not (doubt we ever will) I'm sure there are developers who are going to be making 4.4 based roms. That's why most of us are on xda to get the best out of our phones. Either way my dna isn't going anywhere for a long time.

pretty slick last bugs are in call audio and video recording (i fixed this but it's an ugly fix and it works very ugly).
