Bad USB cable or you might have it plugged into a usb3 port. Try a usb2 port.
Also, v23c is NOT Android 5.1, it's 5.0.1 even though the G2 got 5.0.2 and before we got 5.0.1, from Verizon.

I have the same issue. Just to confirm, are you on verizon? Because i am not and possible that the reason.

Is your lg driver up-to-date on your computer?

Am I right that the GSM version will look different?
I have the GSM version too.
I think it will be just missing some Verizon apps, but wont look different if you consider that both current ROMS of the LTE and GSM versions look the same.
What's interesting is that it seems that Motorola might finally stop using skins on top of android and let us have some Vanilla android.

Step 1: Google buys Motorola
Step 2: Motorola opens the bootloader for Razr
Step 3: We get Cyanogen Mod for our phones
Step 4: I rejoice...

I have hope that it will when:
A. The phones are no longer under warranty
or
B. Google gets fully embedded into Motorola

As far as I know it works for XT1526 LTE Boost Mobile variant, but should work for other LTE variants, you need to test to find out, and yes this stock recovery does allow for installing official ota updates cause I can confirm it installed my 5.1 ota update without a problem as long as your stock system is NOT modified or rooted in any way, shape, or form

The reason my signal bar says 3G is because my wife and I just moved to Texas and the area we're in has poor signal so it switches down to 3G until we go into the city for full LTE signal

No-Go for XT1527
I flashed this version of stock recovery on my XT1527 last night, and the 5.1 OTA did not apply correctly thereafter. While this file flashed and functioned just fine, I got a mismatch error during the upgrade on the system check indicating that this recovery's fingerprint didn't match that which was expected.
I ended up pulling the recovery.img out of a full, stock image for the XT1527, flashing it to the recovery partition, and was then able to get the OTA to install without a problem. I hope that information saves a few steps for somebody in a similar situation.

FOF6 5.1.1 Modem on CM12.1?

Has anyone tried this yet? Currently on DOB1 modem.
I have it worked
Thank you. Did you notice stronger signal or anything because I lose service randomly but my wife who has an iPhone 6 does lose service in the same area?
Did you need to flash the bootloader as well?

I've heard about weird issues with the newest bootloader. Have they been worked out?

Flashed the full tar in odin. Make sure you do a battery pull before booting into download mode.

OK I finally got the modem FOF6 Update to work.
I flashed the of6 modem only in Odin over ob1.
Using cm12.1
I originally came from ne6, I have noticed slower lte speeds on both the ob1 and of6.
WiFi seems faster

It is just a security patch for 'Stagefright' issue. Very small update.
can anyone confirm that there are no performance & battery improvements?

It seems this new update was an improved version since the first lollipop released, tried updating my G850L and the battery looks improved too
We just need a way to update g850a at& t, we got a 4.4.4 stock rom, but we would like the 5.0.2 stock rom for the g850a
just updated to this new firmware and did a complete reset after update.
seems to be quick & responsive compared to the old lollipop versions. will see if battery also improved.
Which model? Just need an update for g850a and do anyone know how can I get update my alpha AT&T without using ota
850L i only updated via Kies. Alternatively you can obtain via Sammobile and flash using odin
you can download directly from samsung servers using this tool : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647

US Unlocked CSC in Settings?

Can someone who's running the US Unlocked firmware tell me what their 3 cscs display as? I got into the One UI 2.0 Beta within 10 hours of it going live, but still no OTA. I wonder if I forgot to wipe after going from Sprint to unlocked. I used the CSC that wipes the phone, but I may have forgotten to wipe after and I'm not sure if I needed to.
My CSC displays as XAS/XAS/ATT. In the past the last CSC displayed as ATT and otas did work (I was on Unlocked at the time)

The android 10/ One UI 2.0 Beta was basically open for registration the first day, and then went away for those who didn't get to it fast enough. Since they're doing a first come first serve thing. Hoping I get the OTA soon
