Lollipop will be soon up for this device, the timeline has been mentioned
I guess we would be getting ota via August or so !

My phone is rooted so can't install the update, can you tell me a way to unroot it ?
I installed this OTA update. However, I am not sure what exactly are the improvements in this update. I meant there should be changelog of the new features or improvements in each new update. May be it is mentioned somewhere I am missing..

changelogs are available at the download page of the updater app
You might have missed it.

is your phone rooted.
if yes then it might be possible that u unrooted it and applied the update . It has broken the phone.
you need to unlock bootloader and apply another rom. There is no way to revive it back
a6000 plus lollipop update is being rolled out. Installed it yesterday. So far its good.

But from the initial reviews I am reading, people who've updated are reporting quite a few problems. Anyone here who has updated??

Yes there are many major problems and no bug fix till now
New OTA for A6000 is available (S054_150915) which contains bug fixes .File Size is 136 MB .
But when we install this update it give some error & phone restart , Do u have any idea regarding this

Reset the Phone & Try flashing the Update..It should work

Indeed. Actually rooting is usually not a problem for official update, but manually modifying system file is. You have to go back to a frash install of B12 I guess (with a whole save of your personnal stuff before)

I got the same update as well yesterday in india. It seems to be an update that was released in other countries quite a while ago, it added 2 new apps- my galaxy and smart manager. Didn't notice much difference besides that.

That was an old update. If i remember correctly i got that update way back may or june 2016
Didn't receive it yet .. can I get the update from the internet and update my phone?, since it's still 5.0.2 right?

Hello i am using the Chinese variant of H7 PLK-ULOOC17B190. Its been almost two years and still no MM update. I cant root because i cannot unlock bootloader due to 14 days error on huawei site. Can someone please guide me how to update or if it is even possible to update. Thank you.

If there is no official update , u can't install or find a firmware which matches for our device . and the 14 days deadline , try to get an unlock code directly from vmall

Is there any way i can update then. Its awfully bad that Huawei has no support for their phones.
And btw this is the chinese variant. I don't get how to vmall may help me get the code.

Well i did recieve the B190 update. But nothing ever since. I mean it really is a great phone but i guess that is why you buy high priced from google ,samsung etc.

You may want to check CM13 for Honor 7.
Hi
Latest lollipop ROM for that model is B211.
You can download it from here:

There are two files there, one is B211 Stable ROM, and the other is Beta ROM 5.12.16.
You will have to update using three button method, and it will completely erase your data (BACKUP FIRST!)
After that, you can request update on HiCare app, or wait a few days, you will get B380 MM update, then probably B383.
You can also try Beta ROM, which works fine and it gets 2 updates per month. It's also on MM.

To update the firmware you must know what you want.
No matter what firmware you have now, we know that is old. Only the custom firmware is improved now. Stock firmware is no longer supported.
First you must tell us specific, what firmware do you have installed now. Look in settings/ about phone.

Just wait few week to 12 become more stable. Will push update then, imho.
Same problem here. Update is there but cant be installed once you have the June patch on 11.

You can downgrade to A20 follow this thread.

I never received A21, I'm in A20 and received C01 directly (but I won't update). A21 was skipped by the system updater, don't know why. Do you keep the update.zip file to update from A20 to A21?

No I don't have it anymore.
Some DN2103 users got A21 update, some got straight C.01 of OOS 12.

I think there is no A21 for IN only A20.
Did you manage to downgrade from a.21 to a.20?
Why you need to downgrade? Just wait the stable release for next A12 update.

I understand your concern about android security patch. Despite this, you'd prefer a stable working software. OnePlus development cicle is weird lately. They will put update when ready. Some users get it in beta stage although say stable, some not.
If you in hurry can safely downgrade to A20 following the tutorial and then upgrade via system o oxygen updater.
