! HELP ! Audio (Headset) output problem

Hi all , since yesterday I noticed on my i9100 a very strange problem with my audio output. Let me describe the problem: When I plug the original headset from the S2 box , I hear the sound is like under water and when i plug in a normal earphones without a microphone (with two rings only) there is no sound. I dont know what should I do , I mean , I tried to flash some other firmware like the Sammy XWLPG but nothing changed. Btw I am running the latest CM9 nightlies with latest Siyah kernel and i never noticed such a problem before. After all I think its a hardware problem but the phone is branded to T-mobile and it would take 1 month i think when it comes back from the Samsung service center. Thank you for answers.
Just give your phone to SSC, not T-Mobile. It will be faster.

My galaxy S2 keeps crashing my TP-LINK router

Hi everyone.
When my father got his samsung s2, suddendly my tp-link was loosing its wifi connection, while lan kept working.
In the days when he is not at home, wifi doenst crash, but when he arrives sooner or later after he connects his s2 to our wifi network it goes down.
Recently my dad moved out and i've acquired a s2 to my own. And i think the same is happening with mine too.
And as u may know its really annoying wifi keeps crashing when i have 3 devices that rely on it.
Additional information:
1st s2 - Rom cm10
2nd s2 - rom stock ics
Make sure your routers firmware is upto date.

[Q] Wifi connects but internet is not working

HI , first of all sorry for my bad english ..
I have a very strange problem with wifi : the galaxy finds the network and all, it connects, internet works for 30 seconds ( more or less, it depends) then suddenly it stops working.. then it starts working again and so on !
I did a full reset and installed different roms, kernels and radios but the problem persists
how can it be possible ? from a moment to another, i was using the phone normaly when suddenly it happened.. it's possible to be a hardware problem ?
thanks for your support !!
Use a static IP address for WiFi (Google for how if you don't know).

Your English is fine dont worry about it, I probably cant speak your language at all. From my experience a hardware problem on your s2 seems improbable. Important is the rom you are using and or the kernel! Switching your radio doesn't really make a difference on S2s. Have you tried other peoples wifi? Is your wifi at home working fine apart from your s2?
On current slimbean without any other kernel your wifi should work correctly. Some people have problems with current Dorimanx releases though.

thanks to you either !
yes yes, everything was working fine, only the wifi in the galaxy .. setting in static mode seems to have solved the problem.. even i don't figure it out how doesn't work in dhcp mode anymore !
Glad it works now (and good job finding out how to do this yourself) Why would DHCP stop working all of a sudden ? That's a big mystery that nobody seems to know the answer to. It happens to a lot of people here & almost always really suddenly like in your case. I'm not entirely sure it's a case of WiFi driver 'corruption' as the problem often persists even after people do completely clean installs of roms/kernels.
So I think the cause is going to remain a mystery.

S-drive not working, tells me to check the car audio

Hello,
I installed the new svoice and sdrive that was ported from the s4 on my s3. It works fine for most of the time but im having problems connecting the sdrive to my car.
I turn on bluetooth, that connects to my car OEM bluetooth right but when i turn on "drive mode" it says to check the cars audio, even though it works fine with making/receiving calls (and it used to work with a similar function on a htc 8x with windows phone).
Anyone with the same problem?
Does anyone know what it is or if there is a way to fix it?
My s3 is a LTE version ( i9305) running ripper rom with 4.1.2 and my bluetooth an audi OEM bluetooth model.
Thanks

This is I9300 not I9305 Q&A[/QUOTE]
I just noticed that now. I saw SIII Q&A and assumed it was for the s3 in general. If the mods find it better to have this on the i9305 section, please move it and i apologize for the trouble.
Anyway, i don't think it matters in this case if its i9300 ou i9305 since the major difference is RAM and LTE and this seems more like a software issue from android or the svoice/sdrive software.
Yes maybe but i am always wary of users flashing wrong stuff to fix a problem as they are in the wrong forum .
Could be a Ripper rom problem as a lot of these S4 ports are picky as to what they work on .

Yeah, it could be the rom. I actually never had much problems with it and thats why i have been using it for a while.
Other thing happened also and that was that i tried to use s-voice ( not s-drive, just regular svoice), that works fine on wifi but using my carrier internet/data it said that it didn't had a connection. Its strange because browsing pages and other apps work fine. Svoice is not supposed to just work on wifi? It should work on a mobile data plan, right?

Issue #1: wifi (& BT?) not working anymore.

Moto Z has never had a "fantastic" wifi connectivity (with some issues with dhcp too, see my thread about it...), but anyway it worked... since some weeks ago!
Then, without any change in sw (I'm still on MM, rooted and with Xposed), it begins to be unable to connect to quite any 2.4 GHz wifi available (5 GHz connectivity seems to be unaffected) :crying:
It finds networks, then, if I ask to connect them (even on open and not encrypted and not mac filtered wifi networks) it will try to connect for a second, then it returns to "saved" state. After some trying it goes in "error connecting network" status.
Obviously ALL my other android devices connect fine in same conditions and even my Moto Z connected fine before the issue came out.
Only in isolated places with a SINGLE wifi SOMETIMES is able to connect... but I am talking of distances of 2-3 meters from router, not more....
I've already tried to "forget" all networks, to restore wifi defaults, to clear cache & dalvik and tried some "wifi repairing apps" too, with no results. On Lenovo forum I saw some had the same issue and even a factory reset didn'the solve for them.
I think even BT is having same issue, but I'm not sure... (I don't use it a lot....).
Any idea? Others with same issue?
@erfanoabdi no idea about this?
I also Have the same problem. and my request to Lenovo please solve this issue as soon as possible.

I begin to think that it's a hardware issue, since even bluetooth seems to be affected as well.
Weird is that networks are anyway detected and with regular dB levels too...
One user on Lenovo forum reported that this began for him when he had the memory of the phone full over 90% and for me it has about been the same bit I think this could be only a coincidence...

Hi, i had this problem too and I think its definitely a hardware issue. I think Lenovo just has some quality assurance issues in the production and you and i just had the luck of getting a defective unit.
I'm really happy that i still had warranty when that happened. The main board on mine was switched, so i guess its not even an wifi/bluetooth antenna issue.

But what channel are you on? From what I've gathered it's only retapac right now.
No more having this?
Mine (just before been destroyed by assistance center trying to change battery... ) had begun to not be able to connect (if not sometimes...) on 5 GHz networks too... it definitely seems an hardware issue...
i have the same problem, no wifi and bluetooth. Anybody tried flashing modem?
Losing connection happens mostly when connected to 5GHz, can't find a way to force connection to 2.4GHz.
