if adb shows it atleast as a 'unknown device' then there's no way it's hard bricked!

As the title says I bricked my z2. Bootloader is locked. I tried to flash CM11 and to my avail, bricked. Any solutions for this? Screen stays black, I can get into fastboot but flashtool wont recognize the phone...

the OP has a problem that can be FIXED
you can often FIX a device which has a incorrect kernel flashed to a locked bootloader, parts of the bootloader are intact which keep the device working
your device may have bricked due to the fact that CM11 is still in a unstable state, any device can hard brick with CM11, its just rare.

Ok so, flashtool wont recognize my phone with the driver and pc companion says nul when it connects. I will be trying on faster hardware And i may have powered the devce down yesterday while fiddling but not sure, it vibrates softly when power and down are held.

battery is dead
try finding a way to charge, plug into a wall charger, it may just go into critical charging mode
should have enough juice to flash a Fw after a few hours
It possible to unlock the bootloader at this point? Maybe Emma can take over after that!

yes if fastboot and flashmode are accessable with correct S1 info loaded
Ok. So if it is possible he can always try. If succeeds then use Emma which if I remember correctly requires unlocked bootloader. And see if it revives it

It is windows 8.1, I was reading/trying to figure out the work around people describe in other posts.
What workaround? Have you got any access to win 7? Maybe drivers don't play nice on win 8.1 yet.

Disabling driver debugging I believe, but I got everything up and running. Flashtool recognizes it and all.

Pretty hard to brick z2 with locked bootloader...download ftf of your region and connect your phone in flash mode and you're done...unless you have been messing around with TA partition, you should be Ok

I got all that done,and I do not believe I messed with the TA partition.

I am very sorry to say but your phone is hard bricked. You must have tried downgrading/upgrading firmware in a fatal pathway. Only thing you can do is getting your motherboard replaced.

Using custom recovery such as TWRP and then flashing TWRP-flashable firmware which you can find on the forums.

I followed his guide and after that, my computer stopped detecting my phone completely, not even that "bulk" thing anymore. It was totally dead.
Actually I don't think you phone is bricked because the same thing is happening to me too but I kepp on removing and disconnecting till the phone starts boot animation so not a brick by the way did you flash any roms?? Cause I'm running mm rom BTW this problem recently started with me so I'm looking for better suggestion s
What did you do to your phone before this happened?
This event occurred when my phone was completely at 0%.
The solution was to just keep it charging overnight like plugged in.
May or may not work for you.
Hello, i got a big problem and needed HELP!
Today i got my Note 4...
so i tryed to unlock the bootloader, bad thing did not logg in at the device.
i booted the mobile in fastboot mode and started the official unlock tool.
until 50% it went quite well then i got an error message:
couldn't verify device
current account is differnet from the account info on the device
so i tryed to boot again but was in a bootloop...
i tryed also flashing a new rom (nikel_global_images_7.4.14_20170414.0000.00_6.0_global_b5d5f15e0e.tgz) and again i got an error
"flash boot error"
hope somebody can help

Did you use Sp flash tool?, if yes You should tick all except preloader. You will have to wait 5-15mins for the phone to boot up.

yes i used this tool, after rebooting the mi logo is on the screnn for about 7 secounds then the mobile boots again and again...

I have never experienced that.. I think you should send it to your mobile repair center.. Be patient,, It might take few days. Don't panic,

tried it again with the mi flash tool i got following error
80x80004005: FAILED (remote: download for partition 'boot' is not allowed
Hey Guys, i soveld the problem...
AND F**K it was a quite easy solution...
i tried so hard was crying and a kind of very desperate...
anyways i aslo wrot a mail to mi and they did not help at all...
they even say i should lock in at the device if im in a bootloop, kinda funny?
anyways so i drained the batterie and nearly about to give up this device....
BUT i give it one last try, plugt it in and booted it... it took a while but after a while i finaly was able to boot the Phone and set it up...
so this threat can be closed...

Hello guys, it looks like this forum is still alive (unlike my phone lol) so let me explain what happened to my D620r.
Firstly - my friend bricked the phone during bootloader unlock process (xD rip) now the phone shows up as QDLoader 9008 yesterday it was like "QHSUSB_BULK" or something like this but after installing some drivers its QDLoader now lol xD (sometimes QDLoader disappears from device manager AND SHOWS UP AS http://imgur.com/a/qJSzE then i have to click the testpoint again)

Try to use the lg flash tool 2014 while using the downloadmode key combination. If the phone gets detect, you can flash a firmware, that is present somewhere in the internet (there are a lot).

How did you flash the bootloader of the G2?

i am glad that you got replace, most of the tablets have a reset key, you just have to press that key and your tablet will be off completely,and after that you can connect it to pc, anyway i am happy that your problem is solved bro, have a good day:silly:
