How To Make Verizon SCH-I545 Fully Work On AT&T - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

First off let me start by saying that you will need root access on your phone which will void your warranty. So if you care about your warranty stop reading now.
Secondly I'll tell you right now this is only confirmed to work on this model of phone(sch-i545) with build LRX22C.I545VRUOF1 on AT&T. You will only have H+/4G signal NO LTE. H+/4G seems to have virtually unnoticeable speed differences in my opinion. If this is a deal breaker stop reading now. If you wish to try this on other networks feel free and let me know if it works. Now on with the show.
Step 1.
Gain root access on your phone. If you need to know how please check out this link. This is the method I used to root mine.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-verizon/general/root-of1-t3249971
Step 2.
Enable "hidden menu" feature on your phone.
To do this you will need to download Root Browser and superSU from the play store.
Once both are installed and set up use root browser(a window will pop up asking for you to grant it root access. Select yes or "grant") to access files.
Find and open file named efs. Inside that file open another called carrier.
Inside the carrier folder is a file called HiddenMenu
Open this file as a text Document using RB Text Editor
Once open it will say OFF. Change it to ON and then click save.
Next go back and find a folder called system.
Inside this folder scroll down and find a file called build.prop
Open this with RB Text Editor.
And the following text to the top of this page: sys.hiddenmenu.enable=1
Click save and close all apps and reboot phone.
Step 3.
Once phone has rebooted open your phone dialer and enter *#27663368378#
A service mode window will open up.
Click on LTE
Then click on PREF MODE Set
Then click on GSM_WCDMA_ONLY
Close and reboot phone.
Once your phone loads back up you should have H+/4G (depends on your area) and you should be able to send and receive text messages, make and receive calls.
You will need to set up an APN for AT&T if you didn't already after you rooted your phone. Settings for those can be found on AT&T'S website.
After you reboot a window will pop up asking you to chose a network. Click cancel.
Like I said in the beginning if you want to try this with other carriers feel free to let us know how it works for you. If you have any issues with this method or have questions feel free to ask. Good luck and I hope you are pleased with my method.

Thanks for the info there another way of doing this. Which does not involve coding. It requires rooting, and loading a custom rom. If you root your phone using your methods then use flash fire to down load stang5litre version of lolipop. Afterwards you can go to the play store and download advanced signal status app. You can use this to toggle between gsm and lte and other networks. select gsm and you will be able to text but you will not have 4g lte . I got it to allow my s4 to send texts on t mobile. at&t also uses gsm so it should work on at&ts network also.

I had that same problem but that was with samsung default rom and rooted. After rooting it i was able to load one of stang5litre's custom roms. THis allowed me to acess that portion using the signal status app. His custom rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-verizon/development/stang5litre-ediition-5-0-t3132555

Yeah I downloaded that one. Not sure why the app didn't work for me. How long ago did you do this method? Is it possible something has been updated since you did it?

I can get text messaging working now but have one other issue. I cannot change the default voicemail setting so that the phone doesn't try to dial *86.
I have two S4's, one on 4.3, and one on 5.0.1. On the 4.3 phone, I can edit the number the phone dials for voicemail no problem, and have full working voicemail with T-mo. But on the 5.0.1, I try to edit this, it allows me to change it, but after clicking OK to the prompt that the change was accepted, it goes back to *86.
The 5.0.1 phone also does not show any notification when a voicemail is left, the 4.3 phone does...
EDIT: HOLY CRAP NEVERMIND, changing the default network preference using your method also fixed the voicemail issue and now I can change the voicemail preference... WTF LOL... I've been working on this for HOURS trying to get this fixed. Why would changing the network type allow you to change the stupid voicemail setting??!

So you followed my method and everything worked for you? The dialer code for the hidden menu and everything?

I did all the steps and worked fine I'm using a Movistar carrier it's GSM I belive used the 2 bands speaking of LTE and got h+ working already but no signs of 4G so I belive need to test speed to see if I notice any diference

H+ is 4G bascially. I did a speed test on mine and it's right around the same speed. I'm glad to hear my method was helpful for someone. I hadn't received and confirmation from anyone that it worked.

Does anyone know how to get around the mms compression limitation? I can only send smaller mms files not larger on verizon phones through att network.

I thought I saw something in either the build prop file or the csc features file. I can take a look in a bit for you.

Alternatively, you can download and install "phoneinfo" by vndnguyen from the PlayStore. Since your phone is already rooted, you can use the "Secret Codes" menu to display all the secret codes and access the menu that was referenced from dialing *#27663368378#. (Just another way to display the hidden menu if you don't feel comfortable editing the system files.)

APN settings for Tracfone as of 4/22/2020
For those who love their SCH-I545s and don't feel like switching phones just because Verizon killed off their CDMA, you may (depending on coverage) be able to use the phone with TracFone /AT&T (AT&T-compatible SIM), until early 2022, when AT&T plans to kill their UMTS/HSPA. I have done this, and after working through the SNAFUs with TracFone, my SCH-I545 is fully working. Voice, Data, SMS, MMS are all there, just a little slower than 4G/LTE, but quite tolerable in my area. I have a Sony Experia XZ2 Compact, and it gets 4G/LTE (with same SIM/APN settings), but I am mothballing it and sticking with my SG4, for now.
*After* you put the AT&T SIM in (not sure if I activated it first), you can add a new APN with the following settings:
NAME: TRACFONE
APN: RESELLER
AUTH_TYPE: None
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS PROXY: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS PORT: 80
MMS_APN_TYPE: default,mms,supl

Help with APN settings/mms settings how to edit them

How can I change my mms settings. when I open messages and the click settings then click connection settings it shows the settings but will not let me edit them can anyone help with this thank you
I belive there is a way to edit these settings via cdma workshop but i dont know too much about that
I cant get the phone to connect to the work shop
Does anybody know if they have rooted this phone yet I read the forum about it it does seem like they have yet
Root is a work in progress.
What are you messing with your settings for? if your having issues just run *288 and let it do it. if that doesnt work use the RUU Update, and then reprogram your phone and use *288
I cant I have the Eris running on Cricket I have the phone, internet, text and the market running great but would like to have mms
How did you get it running on cricket? Didnt you have to flash stuff for that work, if so please post me links asap. It will inevideably lead to root.

no, as above, edit security settings in epst
uhhh, yoo hooo! guys, the htc based android phones are dirt simple to program for use on another network..
I've had my eris running full on alltel over two months now with the unl. data plan. Never looses 3G, alltels 3G coverage is wicked sweet.
Getting Voice & SMS working:
Get current .PRL file for your network(alltel, sprint, vzw, cricket, etc..), google for it. Mount your phone thru USB, drag the PRL to the root of the SD card.
Unmount
Dial##PRL
Enter SPC code
Select PRL from SD
Restart Phone
Activate phone with your carrier, lie about what phone it is, i told alltel i'm a Samsung Delve, a phone they have.
They'll tell you to *228 it, this will work perfectly after you've programmed the PRL described above.
Hang up with them.
Getting data to work:
Dial ##PST send.
Enter SPC code
Go to security...
Google for those settings for your carrier and enter all that is asked for in that menu screen.
Do nothing else, restart the phone.
Now, setting up MMS on the Eris is a pain, I still can't get it.
When going to Messages, Settings, Connection settings, ... i am not allowed to edit those settings, they're stuck at vzw values.
IF .. and ONLY if I install the "quick settings" app in the market, disable mobile network, THEN go to messages, connection settings, .. i can now edit those values and change them to alltel's mms addresses... go home, them go back into messages, connection settings, all is saved, good. If I go and re-enable mobile network, ... the mms connection settings switch back to vzw... GAHH!!!

It's probably just allowing you to input settings but unable to save them due to lack of permissions. Looks like MMS is screwed until root gets here :\
how do you get web working on crickets network ive change the settings from the security but still no luck.

APN wont save

I have a new what i was told is an unlocked atrix on the sasktel network. i can call and text but i can't save my apn settngs to get my internet working. the wifi works fine but not the network one. please help, my provider won't
What are your current APN settings? Go to Settings >Wireless & networks > Mobile Networks>Access Point Names
Neither will mine. Unlocked Bell Atrix on MTS.
I have no APNs listed, and they never show up once saved.
Not sure what other network settings are..but I'm unlocked on Telus and my apn settings are: sp.telus.com
When I first entered them I had so.telus.com and had phone and SMS but no mobile data until I realized my typo.

Hello buddy,
i had the same problem and the solution that i found is to set a new apn and just set the following choices
1. Name
2. Apn
3. port
All other choices left blank.
I did that and it works perfect.

Tried that.....i can enter all the settings that is fine. but as soon as i click the menu button to "save" it goes back to the main page and shows no APN settings saved
Are you rooted?
If yes try to change the /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/telephony.db add the apn in there
no i am not rooted i did not want to do that till i knew i got everything running.
I tried and tried to get the Bell Atrix to work.
APN Manager: no luck
Network Info II: no effect when settings changed either in OS or APN manager.
Whenever an APN was typed in, it would "save" (proven by APN Manager) but not be selectable, it just disappears once menu-save.
Returned it and purchased a Nexus S, took all of a minute to get data working.

i cant just change the first four because the MCC and the mnc are not registering i have to enter them manually. my provider says it is not reading them from the sim card for some reason. i rooted the phone now. i am going to try getting into it from there
The easiest way I found was download SQLite editor. Its a few dollars. Then open it and click yes for root. Go to dialer storage then telephony.DB. then carriers. Add your apn to the list. If eceything is correct it should work. If the phone does not read the mcc then you may be screwed though.

[GUIDE/HOWTO] Droid DNA on PagePlus

Okay so I just wanted to help out anyone else who wanted to get their DNA flashed to PagePlus since there are no (complete / dedicated) guides for this. Also, I figure I'd save a couple of people ~$20 - $50 to pay to have their phones flashed. I'm no expert at this, but I did get voice, sms and 3G (see below) data working. I know how to get MMS working (natively) but I am only familiar on how to do it with Cyanogenmod / CM-based ROMs (I'm on ViperDNA). So here we go. (Sorry for the lack of pictures, I'm just short on time right now.)
What you'll need:
Phone Information: Know your MIN, MDN and SID. You can get this information from PagePlus.
HTC Sync. You can get it here.
CDMA Workshop 2.7. Get the full version.
HTC Diag drivers (read through for this, download below).
PagePlus PRL files (download below).
A stock DNA, or at least one running a stock ROM like this. It's needed to access Diagnostic Mode.
An unactivated Verizon 4G LTE Micro SIM card (you can get one here for $5). This is critical.
Once you have all of this ready, you can get to flashing!
Make sure you have everything prepped. Get your PagePlus account setup and activated (phone number and plan). You won't be able to add your phone to your account specifically yet, but you will put the number in service. Also, make sure you've got the SIM card with you as well. DO NOT PUT THE SIM IN THE PHONE YET.
Install HTC Sync if you haven't already. This will install the HTC Drivers for you.
Connect your phone to your computer and let all the drivers install.
Once completed, go to the phone dialer and dial ##3424#. This will put the phone in diagnostic mode. Windows will then install the HTC DIAG and HTC DIAG 9k drivers. Windows found and installed the drivers for me, so they may work for you. If the installation fails, just follow the instructions to install the DIAG drivers here. (Note: The Device Manager won't say HTC USB Modem, it'll say HTC Diagnostic Interface (COMX) & HTC Diagnostic Interface - 9k (COMX).)
Once installed, enter ##3424# on your DNA's keypad again if necessary, go to the Device Manager and check if the two HTC Diagnostic ports are listed under LPT/COM Ports without the yellow triangle. If there's no error triangle you're good to go.
Take note of the COM port that the "HTC Diagnostic Interface - 9k" diagnostic interface is on. This is what we'll be writing to.
You just got past the first hurdle. Now it's time to start actually flashing the phone.
Open up CDMA Workshop. Hopefully you'd have had this downloaded by now.
Connect to the COM port that HTC Diagnostic Interface - 9k is on. Click connect. YOU CANNOT CONNECT TO THE REGULAR (NON-9k) HTC DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE'S PORT. This is normal.
The status bar at the bottom of the window will say "Ready..." if you are connected. Click read. If everything on the left hand side of the window populates, you're good.
Now for these next parts, I'm going to give my own experience. I had issues with the phone not responding to the write commands (it appeared) so I'd always write everything multiple times just to be safe. I'd also have to enter the SPC unlock code numerous times throughout working on the phone. It was quite annoying. Settings stuck though, which was good.
Go to the Security tab. Look for the SPC section. Enter "000000" (without quotes) into the box above the Read and SPC buttons. Then click SPC > Send. you'll then get a message saying the phone has been unlocked.
Go to the Other tab. Look under RU-IM. Click the drop down box and select "NV-only".
In the same tab go to the PRL box. "NAM1" should be selected in the drop down box. Under it click the Write button and browse to the folder with the downloaded PagePlus PRLs. I recommend choosing to write "52711.prl" as that's the one that worked for me. Write the PRL to NAM1.
Click the drop down box and select NAM2. Write the same PRL to it as well.
Switch the the NAM tab. Click the Read button at the bottom of the box. The fields should populate with data.
Overwrite the MIN field with the info PagePlus gave you. Enter your phone number into Dir_Number (the field to the right of MIN). then go down to SID and replace that number with the SID PagePlus gave you. Write the data.
Click read to ensure the data was written. Go back to the Main tab and then go to Mode > Reset. Disconnect from CDMA Workshop and reboot your phone.
Once rebooted, connect the phone to your PC again and enter DIAG Mode (##3424#). Open up CDMA workshop and connect to the appropriate COM port. Read the data and ensure everything in the NAM tab is what you entered. If it is correct, you may disconnect end get out of DIAG Mode.
Alright, here's where it gets changed up. Wifi was not working for me on the stock ROM that I flashed, so I flashed my DNA to ViperDNA after these steps (which I recommend). If wifi is working for you, you can just continue then.
Open up the Play Store and search for LTE On/Off (for the HTC Thunderbolt). Install it.
Open it up, scroll down to the radio settings and select CDMA auto (PRL). The settings may not stick at first. Just keep applying it and turn the radio on and off. (When I would select it, it would change to CDMA + EvDo/LTE and I'd have to keep toggling it and selecting CDMA auto (PRL) until it stuck).
Enter airplane mode for a minute and then disable it. Wait a minute or two. If the signal bars show up without the roaming sign, you're good. Go to Settings > Mobile Data. You should see your data mode set to CDMA (on ViperDNA at least). DO NOT EDIT THIS.
Shut your phone off. Insert your SIM card. Turn your phone on.
Open up LTE On/Off and make sure that it's still set to CDMA auto (PRL). You should be getting text messages (to check, just use Google Voice and send a text to your number). Call *22890 or *22891. It may not work. Wait a bit though as it may start auto activating for you without needing to actually open the phone app or anything (this happened for me). It'll activate the phone with Verizon Prepaid (obviously not PagePlus) BUT THIS IS NORMAL. Let the phone finish activating.
Make a call and listen to the instructions. It'll say something about your activation PIN being defaulted to the last 4 digits of your number, and to press 1 for English texting or something. Just press one.
Congratulations, your phone is flashed. You should now have voice, sms and 3G working.
If 3G isn't working for you, kick your phone into airplane mode for a bit and then disable it. Also toggle Mobile Data on and off once or twice. Eventually (within 15 minutes) 3G will start working.
Extended Notes
If for some reason the "52711.prl" list results in a roaming signal, try flashing one of the other lists included in the download. Make sure you are writing to BOTH NAM1 and NAM2.
If the HTC Diag drivers don't work for you / are not recognized, install PdaNet and then get the diagnostic drivers from there.
I am not 100% sure if this will work, so if any CM/CM-based ROM users can confirm this that'd be great. I used this same method on my Rezound to get MMS working on PagePlus. Just do this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41981275&postcount=172.
Can I ask those of you who have flashed their DNAs to PagePlus using this guide to please report back with 3G speeds (post a picture using the SpeedTest.net app)? Thanks! I just want to make sure 3G is working as best as it possibly can. So far speeds are pretty fast for me though.

I would never have figured out how to do this without the guide on flashing the Rezound to PagePlus from javamaan, Yura80, watt19, AsianCajun and the other guys in that thread. Also dhaval1's reply to a thread that I randomly came by also helped. And I'd also like to thank the guys from those threads and other places here on XDA who got these files onto the forums for use!

Thanks for the advice. The Rezound tutorial also stated that so I didn't think it'd be a real issue. I updated the guide though. Hopefully some people will find it of use.
I have been trying to do this for the past 3 weeks! Wow, it's a damn shame I caved and paid someone to do it, you really broke it down to a science!
JDA, can you post screen shots from dfs of of the data and mobile ip tabs? Blank out any of your numbers or other personal information.

I never used DFS for this but here are the screenshots from those tabs.
JDA, thanks for the posting. Seems a bit different than other profiles used, but also works.
Thanks JDA, a quick question does this mean we need the stock ROM only for flashing the prl, and after that we can move to any other rom as long as it support Verizon network?

I am curious how similar the process is for flashing to Selectel? I have seen a few people around say that a phone setup to work on page plus should work without modification on selectel but I also understand page plus is prepaid and selectel is postpaid in terms of network access so I wonder about that a little.
Sorry for the late reply, hopefully you already did this though so I'll make an update for future users:
I was wrong. You only need a ROM with the stock phone app. I'm on ViperDNA and I found I can easily enter diag mode. I stated that because with past experiences on my Rez, diag mode could not be accessed through Cyanogenmod 10.1's dialer (so I had to revert to stock).

MMS Problem
I used this guide to flash my HTC Droid DNA to PagePlus With 3G and Talk and Text. I cannot get MMS to work for some reason. Can someone help me.Thank you in advance.
Thanks In Advance.
Talk- Works
Text- Works
3G- Stable/2.42 MBPS Lowest Speed
MMS- Not Working
Thanks for the guide.
I can't get data working and I'm having trouble getting my sim to activate. The first time I tried, it tried to activate on its own like you said, but failed (I think because I accidentally had my old phone still on and I did an esn swap). I thought maybe I just ruined that sim so I bought another blank sim. But when I put it in it just said "Preparing sim card..." and didn't try to activate.
I'm new to 4g phones, so if anybody could give me any clues how to get data working I'd appreciate it.
Give it some time to auto activate

How long should it take? Do I need to re-run the initial phone setup to make it activate?
And to your question, did you try the 8sms application here with the PagePlus setttings? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41195590#post41195590
Yes I used 8sms and don't run the initial phone setup again

I actually got 3g working without going through the activation process. I used DFS to match my settings to post #6 in this thread (replacing my phone number with the blurred out sections in the pics). I left the keys sections blank, but somehow my 3g still works. I thought the keys would be necessary and that I'd have to get them from a donor phone, but everything works without them.
How do you get MMS to work??

How to use sprint g3 (ls990) with straight talk gsm sim

1. Insert Straight Talk ATT sim
2. Set mobile networks to GSM/UMTS
3. Go to system updates and select update PRL
4. After its updated go back to mobile networks and switch it from global back to GSM/UMTS (it will auto switch when you update prl)
5. Go to roaming in settings and scroll to the bottom and set APN
6. Download Signal Check or Signal Check Pro from the play store to show data signal in the status bar
7. The no sim icon will still be in the status bar but you can remove ot with tweakboxand set carrier text
YOU WILL HAVE TO REPEAT THIS EVERYTIME YOU REBOOT YOUR PHONE SO ITS TEMPORARY UNTIL WE GET FULL UNLOCK
PLEASE SHARE AND GIVE THANKS
(I have only tested this with an ATT ST SIM)
I installed cloudy and used network app from the play store and picked cmda/gsm/lte everything works. I didn't even have to set the apn or mess with the dialer it is all good ?
I registered my phone with Straight Talk a couple days ago and I've been trying to get it to work. I've looked everywhere and Straight Talk has lived up to their reputation of having terrible customer service. Anyway, they've confirmed that my phone is activated, but I can't make a call or anything. I'm thinking it has to do with my settings.
Just to cover all the bases, I tried to activate on the CDMA network via the network access code, but I couldn't register my phone due to no coverage in my area (which I know is not true). So I registered on GSM with the ATT SIM card. My Sprint service no longer works, although I'm showing signal bars in the status bar. Whenever I try to make a call it says "Unable to validate your account. Please contact customer services."
I tried the steps listed in the first post but whenever I switch to GSM/UMTS and try to update the PRL it says "Authentication error. Please try again later."
It's also worth mentioning that my phone is rooted and I have frozen a lot of apps, most of which are listed here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/sprint-g3-bloatware-list-t2873199
If anybody out there can help I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm not sure where else to turn.
You can try my guide it may allow you to fully unlock your settings so you can do what he is saying above.
Here is the thread link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/how-to-gsm-unlock-t2961099
Ok, after much research and many reboots, I've finally got it working. I tried several different methods but the one that finally worked for me was installing the CloudyG3 rom. I'm no expert by any means but my guess is because you have to completely overwrite any evidence of Sprint that is preventing the other carrier's SIM card from working (for me this was ATT through Straight Talk). I had to set my Network mode to GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto. My data is not quite as fast as I had hoped at 21.06 down 3.72 up but at this point it's better than nothing.
A couple problems I've noticed so far is after cloudy finished installing and my Lookout was running it's first test it flagged QuickApps and LGBackup as malicious apps. I didn't uninstall them yet because they seem harmless but I did freeze them with Rom Toolbox just in case. Can anybody confirm that they're safe or that uninstalling them won't cause any bugs? Also my messaging app no longer works which is a little disappointing as I really enjoyed it for a stock messaging app. Anybody know why this is?
what version of cloudy sir?

Unable to connect to my mobile network

I recently purchased a refurbished phone Samsung Galaxy S21 5G. I just got it yesterday, and found that I am not able to use my mobile network. The sale said it is factory unlocked, and according to the descriptions, it should work just fine with my US Mobile SuperLTE network as well. When I switched on the phone, I see Verizon on the screen and so, I assume that it was locked to Verizon in the past.
When I tried to change the network settings, specifically the APN settings, I get the message "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user." The three dots on the top with reset to default is also greyed out along with Network mode in the previous page. When I click Network Operators and try to connect to the network manually, I am only able to connect to Verizon Wireless and no other. But, calling and messaging seems to work fine. Is it that the unlock process has not been completed properly? Did any of you face the same problem before? It would be great if there is something that I could do to unblock the APN settings as the rest of the phone works really well. The specific model is SM-G991U.
Thanks!

So, you need to go into the settings menu and find about phone, software info. What you want to find is the CSC information.
It will basically look something like this: XAA / XAA-XAA / XAA (or some other letters like VZW or ATT or TMB etc etc.
What taht will tell you is very helpful in determining what rom the phone is running and what kind of device it was originally. Find that in your device and post it and people will help you to figure out what it means.

Thank you so much for your reply. I looked through the software section in the about section. I found the following codes about the rom.

So the csc info is complicated, I'm no expert on it. But it does look like the OYN indicates it's a multi csc rom. It does have XAA as a part of the code, and that indicates it's 'open' for that specific part. But all the others are VZW. So it's running a vzw rom, obviously.
Your sim US Mobile uses both verizon and t-mobile networks. So it working for calls and texts makes sense, as a vzw phone. You could use patched Odin and flash a different (open) rom, but first you should verify that the device really is unlocked from vzw.
Best way to do that would probably be to insert another carriers sim card and see if it can make calls / texts. If not, it's not unlocked. But are you saying everything works now except mobile data? IOW, no internet access?
I had an international sim card at hand and I put it in. Interestingly the APN settings are no longer blocked. But, I do get a notification from setup wizard saying the inserted sim is not from Verizon and some services may not be available. But, messaging still seemed to work and I was also receiving 4G.

Oh then yer okay. That message from verizon can be gotten rid of a couple of ways; 1) use adb commands to disable the specific packages 2) use patched Odin and flash a different rom
VZW is the only rom I think that does that, and it's very annoying. I don't remember exactly which packages have to be disabled, but search google and use xda and vzw in keywords and u should find it.
The 2nd option would be my choice. It would do away with vzw crap and with an open rom you may find volte and vowifi will work also.
cheers
Thank you so much for your reply. That sounds great! To just give it a try, I tried putting in a TMobile sim and phone restarted to install software for TMobile. After that the APN settings were unlocked and now I am also able to connect to the internet using my US Moblile sim. The only problem is the the network mode is greyed out.
This rom I think only recognizes network from major telecom providers. So, just flashing with an unlocked rom would just help to unlock all the features and also remove telecom specific crap. I will try to flash it today.
Thank you again!
I also just flashed the stock firmware which is fully unlocked. And there is no bloatware from telecom OEM's. I am now able to use the network and set the APN's, but the Network Mode is still greyed out. Is it possible to know why? I am guessing that if the phone is fully unlocked, I should be able to change the Network Mode. Is there any other info that I can give you to help understand what is happening? I do not see vowifi as well.
