FAQ (or Q&A)
1.) ROM Base
The ROM is based on AOSP, but OnePlus One device tree (device specific files needed to build the ROM) is based on Omni, I can assure you everything else is either AOSP or modified from AOSP
2.) ROM Issue
Since the device tree is based on Omni, the issue that Omni has persist within this ROM.
3.) Custom Kernel
Anything that is compatible with Omni (latest release) is compatible with this ROM too, I recommend using Donkey One kernel for customizations and @stranostrano's kernel for simplicity. Both works fine and well with the ROM.
4.) Feature Request
I'll add a feature if it's not overly intrusive and it's not there because of vanity sake. I will also minimize adding features since it'll break the philosophy of the ROM itself
5.) Bug Reporting
I will gladly accept any bug reports as long as it contains enough details so that I can reproduce it myself. Including logs (kmesg, dmesg, logcat) and screenshot if it's a graphical issue would help me a lot.

Thanks downloading....

I just did a clean flash. Looks like another clean flash is calling.

There might be some problem with your zip, it flashes fine on my device. Try redownloading if you can.

Even I tried. Can't seen to flash. When I download from PC, I cannot copy the zip to my phone. When I download from mobile, I cannot flash. It says corrupt file.
Possible to upload to a site other than Mediafire?

I'll try uploading it to AFH, thanks all for the reports !
Edit : I can confirm the zip on the cloud is corrupted, it is being reuploaded at the moment, don't hold your breath since it'll take some time. I also rebuilt the ROM to fix up some leftover issues.

Take your time for the build and upload.

Waiting for new link will surely flash it!

The ROM has been reuploaded, I've also rebuilt it to incorporate additional changes (fixed statusbar weather app, fixed HW menu key enabled while other key has been disabled) and latest code. Again, really sorry for the zip issue previously. Thanks for trying the ROM !

No worries dude. Downloading now.
Quick question, if I flash Custom Kernel that supports DT2W, Donkey One in this case because it supports Omni, will I be able use DT2W?

Donkey One's DT2W depends on Omni's DT2W settings (I guess). But fear not, I have merged the offscreen gesture commit (I know, I should have bundled it with the reuploaded version), I'll be releasing it when I merge other huge and important things.

~General Information~
Welcome to my first custom rom project. As I said before, I've decided to work on OmniROM to make it my daily rom. I'm also submitting fixes in omni gerrit and some have been successfully merged. This is mainly a personal project, but I'll post updates here so that you can try it out. So don't expect to get updates in every week
~Features~
HTML:
Highly customizable device settings with OmniGears
Highly customizable recent apps panel with OmniSwitch
Contextual header image in notification drawer
Active Display Notification (experimental)
Tinted Status Bar (work in progress)
Non-intrusive InCall UI
Built-in Performance Control
~Installation~
OmniROM doesn't come with prebuilt root access. So you have to flash SuperSU from Chainfire. Also use PA Gapps from TKruzze. Links are given below. Download all including rom and follow the instructions.
Copy SuperSU, Gapps and OmniROM zip to your SDCard
Boot into recovery
Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache
Goto Mount and uncheck system
Flash the OmniROM.zip
Flash PA Gapps and SuperSU
Reboot your device
First boot takes some minutes. Wait patiently.
~Recommendations~
Use any third party launcher cause stock launcher sucks. (I'm using Nova)
After booted, goto Settings->SuperSU. A popup will be displayed to install backup script, say yes. Then switch to settings tab of SuperSU, scroll down and check if "Install SuperSU backup script" has been grayed out. If not, select it to install the script again. This maybe required during opendelta updates, I'm still testing.
Don't delete the omnirom zip file otherwise you've to download the whole rom again via opendelta. I'll try to provide updates by OD cause it'll be more efficient.
~Bugs~
- Same bugs as other roms (a2dp, radio, omx, wifi direct). I'll try to fix as much as I can.

About OpenDelta Update
For OpenDelta updates, you must have the first builds' zip file in the sdcard. OpenDelta finds new updates and patches the first build with latest changes. Then it creates a new flashable uncompressed zip file in the OpenDelta folder. After that, it reboots into recovery and flashes that zip file.
If you don't have the first build in your sdcard, opendelta will download the whole rom which'll be time consuming. So don't delete it.
Way to go. Good start. Good work.

No it doesn't have theme section. And probably never will be, as far as I know. Heavy customization is bad for lower end devices.
Good work :highfive:

Google added trim support in 4.3. So yes all kitkat roms have it, unless you mean another thing.

The ROM has trim support, I know that, but the kernel doesn't allow trim to happen for some reason,, Can you add the feature?
@AGONTUK I've reported this in the AOSX thread, but no one considered me: when the phone is turned off and I put in the charging cable, it boots automatically, but it take a lot of time and, when finally appears the start screen, it begins to do some bugs like turning on and off the screen randomly

Hmm I've faced the issue too. I'll try to fix it, thanks for the report.
Build 2 is released. Use OpenDelta to update the rom or you can manually download from the link provided in the OP. Also, read this before updating via OpenDelta.
NOTE: You'll lost root after OpenDelta update. So you need to flash SuperSU again. I'll try to fix this issue.

Flash the ROM at your own risk.
I accept NO responsibility for what you do (or can't do) with your own device. I am not responsible for bootloops, fruitloops or frickazees.
I DO accept responsibility for: Thermonuclear detonation & Zombie Apocalypse.
1) Backup & Factory reset then flash in recovery:
TWRP 3.0.0-0 (if anyone flashes with a higher version, please report)
2) Flash Gapps (recommend micro) - http://opengapps.org/
3) Screen will blank after a few minutes on the initial startup after flashing, the first boot may take several minutes (be patient, it will boot)
I started compiling this ROM as Unofficial because I have been using AICP exclusively for 2 years (on M7 & now Bacon) and figure if no one objects I can share some of the work. This is my HOBBY.
With that I say THANK YOU AICP (LorD ClockaN, n3ocort3x & semdoc along with their entire dev team) for bringing such terrific work to our devices. Special thanks to LorD ClockaN (motivation, encouragement, help & backbone of Official AICP), Pranav Cherukupalli & the legwork for the sources & kernels by Amaradeep Arora.
I make no claim to doing any more than compiling and making minor changes to what I want from the build. I own this device and enjoy making some minor modifications & tinkerings - I hope you will also. PEACE.
Basic Changes from "Official" AICP Rom:
OTA is NOT enabled on my build
(dirty flashing an "Official" over my build & vice versa does work, most changes I made are cosmetic with some cherri-picks)
I don't recommend "backwards" flashing dirty - so check the build dates
Custom Boot Animation
Unofficial AICP Logos [WIP]
Custom App for Unofficial Wallpapers (Thank you Jason Townley for the awesome Game or ROMs screen)
Latest APK file for wallpaper app must be manually installed to upgrade if dirty flashing >>> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=51312
ROM & Kernel Compiled with 5.4.0 GCC Linaro
DOWNLOAD LINK
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=45367 - - Compiled 02/25/17 with cherri-picks listed in Changelog below
Please do not use issues with these builds to ask for help on the official thread. If you get an error, random reboot, etc. attach a logcat to any requests for help if possible. - Thank you
Recommended Gapps:
MUST flash 7.1 Gapps on the latest build. Tested with Slim's Revisited & opengapps / both boot fine.
Sim Revisited Gapps
TWRP 3.0 - Read this entire page first! If you flash with a higher version, please comment and let us know if it is successful.
- Nandroid / Backup your device!
- Standard factory reset wipe (recommended unless dirty flashing over THIS build)
- Flash Rom
- Flash Gapps 7.1
- Reboot
Current Changelog:

Full sync upstream
My GitHub (kernel & sources that are not stock AICP)

Bugs:
You may get 2 Flash errors logged - these will not affect boot or device (investigating)
TWRP 2 E: unknown command [log]
E:request read returned -1, errno: 5, exiting MtpServer::run loop
Known issues:
Status bar changes do not set
Camera video does not work yet Fixed
More? You tell

Tips:
Root Access
- Turn on developer setting by tapping build version info
- In developer options, select root access (no need to flash supersu or anything else)

New build 12/14 - new (WIP) TWRP Flashable boot-animation
The 12/12 build was constantly freezing up on me. I was using open gapps and I had a calendar has stopped working report. I was forced to stop using it because of the crashes were happening too often so I didn't get to notice more bugs.
I am downloading the 12/14 build and hope to test it tomorrow. Thanks
---------- Post added at 05:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:40 AM ----------
So spent a little time with it. I turned Google now on tap on and it said Google has crashed. Did that twice and then it stopped trelling me it wasn't working.
Also, when I tried to delete some quick settings buttons, the system ui would crash
That all I noticed but very nice Rom man. Buttery smooth.
Oh, BTW, I noticed I can't customize what the back button does but I can the menu and home button. Is that like that for all mm roms? I've been trying to find one but haven't seen one yet.
I haven't tried gravity box but on other mm roms, gravity box wasn't working. They may have updated it now but at least about a week ago it wasn't working.

Are you using opengapps? I don't use Google Now because of the battery drain, but I tried on the latest build and didn't get any crash with "Ok Google" from voice activated or from the search bar.
I had issues with editing quick settings buttons on 12/12 build (actually reboot), 12/14 was more stable I think too. My 12/12 build was compiled early in the AM (05:22AM), later that day there were some merges for settings tiles that may have not made it into that build. There have been some more changes according to gerritt - I will re-sync and compile again this afternoon.

Yes. Exactly, except the newest build I can not change quick setting buttons. Also, Google now on tap doesn't work. I have not used it yet because no mm roms I've used works with it yet... Haven't tried a lot of mm roms.
Dev for this, will you please add customizable back button. I've got way to used to it on roms now. I don't like doing xposed cause its one more thing to screw up for me. Regardless, I will prolly just set the menu button up if the back key isn't added.

Great ROM! Been using it for couple of hours now and everything working perfectly. Open Gapps took a while to install during flashing though.
Those who love dark themes, you could install dark material theme for CM 13. Totally awesome!

Can you tell me does setup wizard recovering WiFi passwords and installed apps on fresh install now?
Because I used some early unofficial builds and cm setup wizard didn't done that before. So had to use titanium backup.

CM setup wizard does not restore your account apps and data. I, too, have found this issue on roms using CM setup wizard.
Can't wait to test this. Great memories from s2/kk days! @rwaterspf1, @scott.hart.bti
Is there a caf version too coming?

Actually, like you, I also used Titanium backup and it worked just fine.
I'm sticking with it for now!!
I can build a caf version but I only have one device to test with and don't like releasing untested builds. If someone was willing to test a caf version before public release then send me a PM and I'll run a build.

The main post says CM13 based, but nowhere does it say CAF-based. Just for clarification, this is AOSP-based in the sense that AOSP kernels should work with it, correct?

CAF Trial: Installed along with Open Gapps full. Everything working fine except that contacts did not sync immediately. I am trying to figure this out. For a first build its great. Everything else appears to be working, though I am still testing. Though it is very well equipped for an initial test build, I do miss some features that are fast becoming standard - like network speed indicator, options to color most of the status bar indicators and of course color navbar etc., but I guess there'e more to come, so I can wait for these. I ran it as one of my two secondary ROMs, so you can do it too to test if you like. More feedback after I test it some more. I haven't tested camera etc. or checked for torch bug etc..
If the contacts issue gets sorted out I'd say this is good enough to be a nightly.
Edit:
To be sure, I installed everything again dirty. This time I lost google play services. I think I will need to repeat with a clean install. I might also install with Banks Gapps to see if it makes a difference to contact syncing.
I just came to say, if some1 is interested to make ROM recover all your data you just have to to this steps:
-Full wipe,
-Flash the ROM;
-in twrp go and mount system;
-in twrp file manager and go to system->priv-app and delete folder called cmsetupwizard or something like that (don't remember exact name);
-after removing cmsetupwizard go and flash gapps;
-reboot your phone.
And you will have google setup wizard what will recover all your wifi passwords and apps.

This happened to me with AOSP version too. I used banks gapps and everything works great now. Give it a try.
Those who are installing CAF version, please make sure you have latest radio installed, i.e. MMB29K (6.0.1)
I had MRA58K (6.0) installed and it conflicted with MMB29K (6.0.1) radio. Device got soft bricked.
However, I then flashed MMB29K (6.0.1) radio image in cmd. All ok now.
Hope this helps!
Been awhile since I used a cm based rom, this is smooth, banks gapps, clean install, hellscore 16 kernel, well done

F.A.Q
F.A.Q :
Q - Why you mustn't quote the hole post ?
A - As you are killing us dude !
Q - Why mustn't I ask for ETA ?
A - Simply , we are students and colleges so we are busy with our studying and other life problems !
Q - Why mustn't you Spam ?
A -As Organization Is the key to achieve the impossible !
Q - I have faced some issues, which is not mentioned in the 'Not Working' list........?
A - For bug reports, the least we can expect from you is a logcat taken during the issue. Or atleast, you could tell us how and when did you face the bug, how can we reproduce the bug to fix it. Reports without any of these will be ignored.
Q - Can I use your ROM/any part of ROM and modify it and release it separately?
A - Yes you can. But please mention proper credits.
Q - I flashed this ROM, but I dont find any Google App, where can I find it?
A - gapps will be mentioned later in OP but you can get them from any where and flash it !
Bug reporting
How to report a bug?
First off all, check the 'not working' list and see if the bug you are facing is already mentioned or not. If it is, stop right away because the concerned people working on the ROM are aware of the issue.
If the bug/issue is not mentioned in 'not working' list, check the Frequently Asked Question (F.A.Q) and see if issue is resolved already.
If the issue you face is not in FAQ either, you would probably post a reply in this forum, and not PM anyone, about the bug.
Attach a logcat.
If not possible, mention a proper way how you encountered the bug.
Also mention any 3rd party stuff you installed. (Like mods, themes, kernels etc)
Following things WILL NOT be considered as bugs. So please do not post such bug reports, they will be ignored.
Low benchmark scores. Even if Stock results better.
Poor performance in gaming. Even if Stock results better.
High RAM usage/low RAM available.
Various kernel control app crashes.
Crashes of various UI elements when a custom theme/mod is applied.
Random reboots, and other issues caused by flashing custom kernel.

Things maybe worth consideration:
- i once installed zapdos kernel long time ago, but the of zapdos is still there, hope you can do something about it
- launcher settings not showing, also not working like wallpaper scroll
- status bar and quick settings panel glitches, i.e, status bar got lost while trying to modify 'interface' settings
- soft reboot option seems to be missing after enabling advanced boot (if reboot to bootloader is not soft reboot)
- recent app list by long pressing home button is not coming
- notification glitches - notifications are not being updated, like while downloading app from play store, installing apk files.
- Try this:- open app drawer and press settings button. Settings would appear in background but drawer won't exit automatically.

I didn't understand first and third ones .
for recent app menu you should go activate it by navigation->hardware buttons -> enable custom actions -> home key -> long press-> recent .
for soft reboot it's because of slim it self not me .
for launcher thing like settings , scrollable wallpaper , etc you can try using different launcher .
for notification bar glitch like not updating , brightness bar ,etc those glitches weren't even fixed in CM12.1 so we may not get it fixed here .
anyway this is not the last build and there will be another builds so we should get more fixes .
waaw ..
nice broo

First - Whenever i restart my phone, zapdos image that came with the zapdos kernel by corphish pops up (since i installed long ago).
Third - In settings -> interface, i was messing with quick settings which crashed status bar. (Although seem to work fine after restart, but hangs sometimes)
Can i increase LCD density? Would it increase display quality?
- Mobile data not working on sim slot 1 (m.p).
- Brightness slider crashes the status bar.
One more thing - In app settings (setting in any app), scrolling has some serious display issues. The content where we scroll to is not being displayed.

So finally you have uploded it!

-It was a boot logo corphish has made for his kernel and you can change it by another one there are some boot logos in theme and mod section you can install whatever you want or you can follow cophish's tutorial he has made .
-status bar maybe just was restarting to apply new changes .
-When I changed the density it made things smaller and bigger so I don't think that it has things to do with quality .
-Will check mobile data problem soon .
-Brightness slider and scrolling are glitches in this ROM and cm12.1 and I'm doing my best to fix them .

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

GApps: OpenGApps

There must be a gap between the last O and one of the first P
My opinion is that you have to try, it rewards and encourages the person who has spent a lot of time trying to give the best of himself in this realization

Just installed this ROM. Big up to the devs for bringing Pie to our bacon )
I am having trouble with the build.prop patching zip though.
Never mind, you can disable the software buttons by addin the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" to build.prop.
when flashing the rom it is flashing with gapps pkg too which is giving me error in installation!
Works great. Is there a way to use the navigation pill?
Something in this ROM, (or actually @Agent_fabulous ROM) is causing abysmal Wi-Fi speeds.

See adaptive battery is a pixel exclusive feature but can be get by an overlay ... I'll add that animation too but for now adaptive battery is under Battery management in Battery section... Only diff is animation isn't present here

One of the two supplied zips gave a message while flashing that it's use is to disable the software keys. That didn't work, so I disabled it manually in build.prop. Not a big issue. Have to say though, this ROM is running smoothly with no major battery drainage
Couldn't get root access even with Magisk 16.7 or SuperSU. Any luck for others?

When I'm near the WiFi router and signal is decent, speeds are up to par with Oreo, but when the signal drops WiFi is indeed very unstable and slow.
Open Gapps? Which one? Platform? There is no for Android 9
