my tablet pc is pipo m9.
My tablet has root.
I want to decrease my tablet pc's screen light more than allow my tablet without using any screen filter.
What can I do ? What do you suggest ?

just picked up my S2 today and its simply amazing. One thing that bugs me though is, that the option to keep display active while on AC or USB is missing with the stock rom. On CM7 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 roms the option is present in settings, just next to USB Debugging.
Is there any other way to keep the display alive while connected to AC or USB?

You don't want to keep amoled display continuously on, especially showing the same picture all the time. Since amoled could suffer from screen burn, causing pixels which were continuously on to wear down faster and permanent ghost image on uniform colour thereafter.

Burn in is something to think about, but if he wants to then that's up to him really.
I use Tasker to do what the OP wants, although i don't do it often.
Settings>Applications>Development>Tick both "USB debugging" and "Stay awake".
But as both the previous posters have said, watch out for burn.

Alright, my problem is I have an SIII with broken glass, a broken digitizer, and a broken LCD. It's my old phone as I had to buy a new one due to these issues. Ended up getting the HTC One. Eitherway, I can't use the screen at all yet I can turn it on and everything. Turned it on today, and since it's on a seperate number than my One, I got tons of notifications the second I turned it on, plus, I need the screen for a few other things. My question is, is there anyway I can display the screen on my laptop through USB running on Ubuntu without the use of my phone screen? Also if anyone knows how, I do ask for super detailed instructions as I suck with Linux now. (Old HD died due to Windows sucking.)

i have a zopo zp980 but suddently the top area of screen became not sensible anymore at any type of touch.
A possible soluzion to me is disable this area and reduce the physical screen size but i have almost no idea how to achieve this.
The device is already rooted, bootloader is cwm

I have a brand new asus transformer tf103c hybrid android laptop if you will. I bought this with the full intentions of inverting this and roof mounting to my king ranch expedition. Only problem is that the screen rotation will lock when docked to the keyboard. The keyboard is how i connect the whole device to the ceiling of my king ranch. Once i leave the truck for any extended amount of time i undock and the tablet comes with me. OHHHH yes i have tried many apps.... including rotate settings the full pro edition, but no luck getting it to work. To be clear, it works without being docked just fine, but as soon as i dock the tablet... it thinks that im viewing it right side up!
Ive searched the forum for any help and found similar topics for older versions of the transformer, but all apps ive tried so far dont work.
im thinking theres got to be a way to alter the native setting for the docking screen rotation override... maybe even using root and just disabling the command that sets the behavior. Either way, i need help and im reaching to the forum for advice
