Sprint Order Status (Back-ordered) - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Guides, News, & Discussio

Some information i received from speaking to a sprint rep not to long ago, orders are now back ordered and sprint is waiting for Samsung to send more devices out " the demand of devices has increased and we are working closely with Samsung to make sure we will fulfill all the order in a timely manner", while he also states "some of the orders have indeed been shipped on 2/29" .
What do you think of this ? Do you think that we will receive our devices in a timely manor ? Note* people are reporting that some devices have been received but no shipping information was sent out to them.
Also, I received a free 30$ accessory for the inconvenience.

You: I ordered my device on the 23rd of February, I received two order numbers one being I'm not sure I ordered mine on the 23rd and the order status has constantly changed , first it was all orders placed before 10pm central 2/29 would ship on the 2/29 then it said that orders placed before 10am central time on 3/1 would ship within 2-5 days and after 10 am they would ship the 3/7 and now it says that it wont ship till 3/7. I'll see what i can get from the live chat associate , if i don't have luck ill call and see what i can get for us. Ill post back as soon as i am done.

I ordered my phone from Sprint at approximately 2 p.m. on Monday afternoon they never changed the processing status online..... so I was wondering what the deal was and when they would ship it happen to be home today, and has ups drove by they dropped off my black phone it was almost exactly 72 hours from the moment I place the order to it was dropped off

Edge or non ? Because it is complete bull i ordered mine on the 23 at 12am as soon I possibly can thats not fair that you ordered it a few days ago and you received yours

I know it sounds sketchy, so I'm posting some pics show in the screen still hasn't changed even though I got the phone and the other is email I got showing two days ago I just purchased it... if you scroll down a little bit from that screen it does show estimated ship date as March 1st

We haven't received our s7's yet, but we do have that exact same bedspread lol :good:

I just received my S7 (black) today. The order status had no tracking number and had the standard s7 will begin shipping the week of 3/7 message. I ordered on the 29th. It looks like the tracking number was updated after I received the phone today. The shipping label was created at 12am on 3/2 and I received the package at 4pm, so it looks like they continue to ship out phones, at least for those that ordered before 10am on 3/1 (which was the message i used to have on the order status page)

I ordered mine a week before you guys i think its a load of crap that i haven't received mine ! I can't believe that you guys ordered it after me but yet im the one who has to wait. i complained and they gave me 30$ off my next bill and a free $30 accessory of my choice i just think its stupid that i should have to wait, if anything you should because you ordered yours after mine. They told me mine will come / or be shipped on the 7th of march . I wonder if it is a region issue or not, but still they should have sent one out a long time ago even if it was out of state for us early orderers :crying: .

I guess we will have to wait till the 7th

I ordered my edge on the 28th and haven't received any notification from Sprint. Guess if they ship on 7 Mar, it won't be too bad.

I mean that's reasonable though i just thought it was stupid because other people are receiving theirs when they ordered literally a week after me, i just find it hard to belive that mmy order is the one that is backordered. Um didnt i order mine pretty much before anyone ?? 12am on the 23rd . I just find it stupid, but hey i did get 60$ out of complaining so i guess it wasn't a complete loss.

So like you I'm still waiting on an update, my current phone has been having issues and went by one sprint store and the rep was activating a phone bought a few days prior, While I did online release day pre-order and still no phone and the you'll get it on the 11th bs.

I called today to ask what the status is and they said that they received the shipment from samsung and they will be shipping on the 7th but shortly after maybe 40-50 min i got my order number saying that it was in the process of bing shipped and with a order number.

I got off the phone around 7pm EST and still no update. Very tempted to switch carriers. Stuck with a broken phone through all this.

They will ship on the 7th at the latest i just think that i have complained so much that they finally shipped mine . Hopefully they are shipping per order now such as oldest to newest in that order

It will ship tomorrow on the 7th and you will get it on the 9th ups won't come and pick up the package today unless they do then we will get it on the 8th

Phone order
Ordered my S7 on Saturday 9-17, it is now Monday 9-26, nine days later and no information from Sprint and no tracking number. Numerous calls to order support and each call I have been told that the phone is in stock and I just need to wait. Last call to order support on Friday 9-23, I was told the S7 is back ordered and has been since before 9-17. They told me at that time that they had no estimate for when it would be in stock. Very different info than the previous call to order support. Quite confused and frustrated. Only ordered the phone as my old phone was dropped and no longer works. Without a phone at all at this time. Hoping to hear something soon.

O Docks, Where Art Thou

Ordered Dec 23rd: Merimobiles
Still nothing, customer service says if I don't see it by this weekend they will send me a new one. Plus it just so happens I sent in that rebate for the free dock and paid the investment of $10.50 to the U.S.Merchants. I have yet to see either one. Anyone in the same boat still? When all is said and done I might have 2 docks. Unless we have another snow storm.

I plan on turning this whole situation into a game, which ever one gets here first will be showered with gifts and pampered. The latter with have to endure the heart ache and smells of being the charger for in the kids bathroom or a ice scraper, snow shovel ect.
Why can't they get more of this stuff in the US? They should be all over EBay by now!
Try checking your tracking number against whatever your mail provider is (mine showed up on CanadaPost).
If it still doesn't turn up I would raise an issue with paypal/your credit card company. Merimobiles has lied to me about shipping details, there's no reason for them to have your money.
I have ordered two items from china in January. One cleared Shenzen on 1/15 and I got it on 2/6. The other cleared on 1/23 and I got it on 2/8
It seems things have really slowed down from there on china post airmail
Merimobiles is a terrible vendor. They are doing the same bs to me (even after completely admitting that the shipping problem is thier mistake). They are a bad company that doesn't take care of its customers. I highly suggest that everybody avoids doing business with them.

I order on the 12/26 and have the exact same as the above, with the exact reply from merimobiles about shipping another if I don't get it by this weekend. Unless they overnight it why would I expect that a second one would make it to me.

I ordered my Dock 12/30/2010, received a "Your Order Has Shipped" email on 1/19/2011. Got my Tracking Number and this is what was reported:
Destination - United States of America
The item (RB176555762HK) is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 22-Jan-2011.
It looks as though it is still being processed! I sent an email to [email protected] so they could explain the status delay. No response 2nd request was sent today.

FWIW - I ordered a Leather Case w/ USB keyboard & Mini Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard w/ touchpad and laser pointer from Ankaka.com January 6, 2011.
The tracking system provided this response:

The item (RT083003489HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 17-Jan-2011
So, my Ankaka items are officially in the mail and should arrive San Jose, CA any day. My merimobiles.com Docking station is still in Hong Kong being processed for departure.
It seems that merimobiles choose the cheapest delivery option each time they ship something. Like they try to accumulate packages to make one huge shipment to US for less money.
If you go to the USPS web site and under tracking teb enter the track number, you can see progress once they receive it.
Damn... did you all forget it's a slow boat to/from China?
My dock took almost 30 days to arrive from Merimobiles. It was a race between the doc and usb keyboard case I ordered. The doc won by 3 days.
I decided to e-mail them being as nice as I possibly can here is the reply e-mail:

I got a few emails from Janey too. I already did my venting on another thread, but this company is horrible. I think that their support people are all the same person. Always say sir. Always is all lower case. Always bad grammar and you are lucky if the sentence make any sense. The last response I got six days ago said that they would check on my order, but crickets since then.
Then I call up US Merchants to see why I still haven't received my rebate dock from 11/26 purchase and they say that they are having trouble getting the docks from Viewsonic and it will be at least another couple weeks before they get them.
I am livid.

During those months there has been many delays in the regular mail. We can assure you we ship them promptly. The situation is now alot better and most packages are arriving promptly in the advertised time and the regular time that it should take by regular mail. We do care alot about our customers. We do have a policy when it takes over 1 month we reship or refund. Many people have received there docking stations already. Shipping times are back to normal, and contrary to what 1 member claimed we don't chose the cheapest way possible to ship, its a regular mail shipping item like any other item, and every year during the holiday time there is always delays in the mail. Things are back to normal now, we can assure you on our part we ship them promptly, its unfortunate some people had to experience delays from the mailing system. Thank you for your reply. I didn't start this post to defile Merimobiles. That was not my intention. I was stating I had both Merimobiles and U.S.Merchants both sending me docks since Dec. of 2010 and have not seen either one and was wondering if others had received theirs yet. You do however get a +1 for lurking the XDA forums. Janey has been nice answering my questions and she did state that if I didn't get it by this weekend that I could have you guys refund or resend it to me. So I'll correspond with her later this afternoon if I haven't seen it.
One plus on still not receiving a dock from merimobiles, where my order was placed on 12/26. I read the statement above with respect to bad weather. Didn't we hear a similar story from another supplier of cases? Basically I don't accept the weather argument....
Any advice on how to proceed with a refund request?

Important Premier Shipping Information

Found these notes from the premier team (one is the same member who posted the link last night, the other made an official comment earlier in the week):
Hi, this is Deb from Premier Team. So here's what I've found regarding ordering/shipping/receipt of devices when ordered online:
- We always use Overnight Shipping for devices purchased online.
- In general, devices purchased before 4 p.m. EASTERN meet the deadline for shipping same night for next day receipt.
- There is a risk that if the volume of orders is exceedingly high for the day, the order may not process that same day. Once it does process, the device ships overnight.
I, personally, have not heard of any order processing delays happening with any of our previous online Premier First to Buys. However, if online demand exceeds daily order processing capacity, I wanted to make sure you were aware of the potential delay.
The good news is that no one else besides Premier can order online until after the phone is launched to the public. I wish I could guarantee all orders will be processed same day, but I don't know what to expect regarding demand.

there's a good chance many people will get their orders tomorrow. statuses are getting updated right now. ups will take a bit to get the tracking numbers setup and then to get those numbers back into sprint's system. if your status says shipped, i would expect it tomorrow if u live in a metropolitan area.

no. silver status is getting in before gold... few purchases at 11am have already gotten tracking #s... there seems to be no real pattern as of yet.
maybe last name alphabetical.... cc purchases first... according to geographic locations... idk. most of them do seem to be going to the east coast as of right now

memory express sent them as well and I emailed and asked for clarification and got this
Originally we were supposed to get them on the 6th of December. According to Asus they are shipping on the 15th which means in theory we should have them on or after Christmas day.

I'd bet that to serve the U.S., Asus probably has a contract with a logistics company that they drop ship to who then manages and distributes inventory on their behalf. Because of the smaller volume in Canada they may ship directly from Taiwan. That would explain why "shipping on the 15th" may or may not make it before X-Mas.

I know it's not your fault, but I need a better result then "check back in 2-3 days"--simply because apparently I have not been given accurate information from the very beginning.

Under Product Details it says "TF201-B1-GR", the "GR" at the end means it is gray.
Out of stock now, however.

I Hear that I have several preordered too. Guess we could always sell extra on ebay to make up for cost if unable to cancle an order.
i was able to order one, delivery date of 1/5. Hopefully it gets delivered and hopefully its grey

I wouldn't read that much into it. Just like we got a "backordered" email, it just fills dates and stuff in. I'd expect it to ship by the 15th.

Yeah, the previous wording made me think we might get them earlier in the week, but now it looks like the 17th is as early as possible.
I guess its just one more reason to look forward to Friday
When i ordered mine today it said they should ship by the 16th.
Five minutes later i got an email saying it was sent to the warehouse for shipping.

I think we all got different notifications based upon the avenue in which we purchased or upgraded. I upgraded through Premier and I'm supposed to get my phone by the 17th and it is supposed to be shipped Fedex overnight. I don't think we can assume what AT&T will do until we start getting shipping notifications and tracking numbers.

I ordered mine from ATT on Monday at lunch. They couldn't find it in system Sunday.
So, I went back Monday with the ATT SKU #. I told them to ship to store, 'cause I leave for Asia on the 18th and if it's not there by 17th my salesman said it would be held there under my name.
So, here's to hoping the "store" gets their shipments first, and mine gets thrown in with their stuff.
I go to Hong Kong and China regularly so I'm very familiar with the Int'l Note, but didn't want to spend 700+ for one in HK or China with no warranty except thru my friends there that I'd have to ship it back to for service.
Plus, getting it for 300 sans Exynos I figure is an even toss up for the cost savings.
