Is there a way to use slider to manually focus on s6 edge in pro mode? I saw someone doing that on new s7.
I doubt it. I'm not sure about you but the s6/s6e are both bull**** devices that were clearly test devices to make way for the s7. The s5 had the sd card with the water resistance and dust proof that was taken away for the s6 and edge and then brought it back for the s7. Everybody who got any variant of the s6 was ripped off in my opinion

On the S6E+, with Pro mode enabled first, it's possible to manually focus using the slider

Use PRO mode (second icon from right (a flower&mountain) , it was always there.

There is an app called " Cinema 4k " and you can do it while recording video, but for me it doesn't work with marshmallow...
Update to MM and pro mode has been changed a bit. You can even choose aperture time shot. The iso has lowered to 50 too.

During video recording use pinch for one time and then a bar will be there for manuel focus. Not sure if this is what you asked.

Yes there is a vertical bar (S7), or horizontal bar (S6) that enable you just to zoom, but you'll be able to focus by taping the screen with Pro mode enabled first, try this Bro....

Here with a mod which changes a lockscreen effects using "light effect" i have made all these images personally using PhotoShop or some imaging tool and will be adding as much as i can in the coming days

Don't bother, it's very easy in fact. As the resolution of the S4 mini is each dimension divided by 2 compared to S4, you juste have to divide the sprites by 2

It wont't work on the Exynos Galaxy S8+, since it is missing the DSP that is found on Snapdragon chipsets instead...

The only time a Snapdragon Samsung phone is better than an Exynos one.

That app doesnt work well on exynos version, no hdr support
Can someone who has this working on a Snapdragon (US/Canada) version please post all of their settings? I have yet to find a combination of settings that actually takes HDR+ photos...
Some settings take and store a photo, but it is definitely NOT HDR anything; it's just a basic photo that doesn't have quality that is equal to the stock Samsung camera - it's noticeably worse.
Other combinations of settings won't take a photo, there is an audible 'click', and the camera remains responsive afterwards, but no photo is stored.
Yet other combinations make a click and the whole screen goes dark to say 20% brightness level, but again no photo is stored, and the camera app won't respond to anything more after that and needs to be manually closed and reopened to become responsive again.

Can you please give us the P30 theme? With the new square icons? It's so ugly on Mate 20. Some icons in circle, some square... So please if you can

Yes, it can shoot raw on all the lenses.
Does it have a notification LED?
Able to compare the night mode with the mate 20 pro?
And if not too much bother a long (e.g. 20secs) exposure shot of the night sky compared with the mate 20 pro on same pro settings. Hopefully should give a good feel on how noticeable the sensor improvements are

The selfie camera is improved in my opinion. I am by no means a photographer, but this camera is alot better than mate 20 pro in many scenarios. Like, a massive improvement in dim/indoor light, aswell as clearity is better aswell

Night mode on p30 pro
Hi,
Has anyone managed to modify the Story shot mode for the LG G8x camera? I mean the Story mod has the potential to be something awesome, something like the LG Wing's dual video mode, where you can take video with both cameras at the same time. The hardware can do that, as the preview for this mod shows.
Instead it's a crappy uncustomizable mode that puts your face on top of half the screen, and you can't even customize where your selfie is put.
Is there any way to get the dual video mode from LG wing? (or LG V10 back in the day)

There are quite allot of dual camera apps on the store, most of them fake or not working, i have found 2 that work, but one of them does not show you a preview of the selfie picture, and the other one has a forced uneditable counter after which it will take the second shot.
Have you found any apps that actually do a good job with dual shot?

Best dual camera mod i found is Nokia camera on XDA. It's a camera app compatible with most phones, and it has PIP AND SPLIT SCREEN for BOTH PHOTO AND VIDEO!

The recent button in Android One, however, has three options: Clear All, Lens, and Screenshot
And that Lens option is magic. Because in whatever application you are, you can use that to translate, search, ... in that screen.
Could we add this option to the recent button of the S23 Ultra?
Or is any workaround to run Google Lens on One UI such that we can use its abilities?
The only possible way I found was to take a screenshot and open it in Lens which is very annoying since I have to take a screenshot and delete it after say translating the text inside it.
I also have the same need, but there is really nothing I found.
Maybe you could try Bixby vision that is more integrated in the one UI
I loved this lens function on my pixel 6 A simple way to save photos without taking a screenshot. I miss this feature in Galaxy S23 Ultra :/
Highly desireable feature, I also moved from a pixel 7 pro and extensively used Google lens for copying text from pics & such and the smart select function on one ui is not nearly as good!

I was living in Brazil so I have always been using Lens to translate new words or phrases besides its other options. Now I moved to Germany and I need it more

It's already installed but not integrated as in aosp roms. You have to take a screenshot and then go to lens and find that screenshot. Then you're able to translate or copy a text inside that photo.
