About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Have the same problem, SDcard is shown as corrupted. MicroSD is formatted exFAT which works fine on AICP, but doesn´t on DU. Tried it both with unicornblood-kernel and blu_spark 108. Log enclosed. Have to go back to AICP as I need exFAT for large files I use. Hopefully I can come back soon. DU was my daily driver on my last device for a long time. Thanks in advance @Vatsal, you´re doing great!

@Vatsal
Hey thanks for the build
There are some bugs
When I try to go into apps>storage it FC's
There is also a delay while going into recents
Rest working fine including camera
Quite stable for initial release
Edit
Both problems solved and working

@Vatsal
please add Snap Camera as stock in v2

I flashed bluspark kernel and wipe cache and reboot
It was solved

Thanks a lot! I'm about to flash this
Do you recommend Banks or Du_Tbo? I might go for Banks because they're lighter
EDIT: On first boot it took too long to start and all of a sudden it asked me for the PIN code. Then it was stuck on wallpaper with nothing but feedback from power and on-screen buttons. It soft rebooted after a while and got stuck on "initializing apps". Flashed exactly as instructed!

Device getting hot after 15min prolonged usage
Hey guys , is your Opx getting hot after 15 min of continous usage (I am browsing and chatting using FB mesaanger) Hopefully Dev looks into the issue. Well on the other hand the ROM is liquid smooth no lags , very less bugs found(which can be fixed through reboot)
Thanks Vatsal!

No heat issues here. Although I don't have fb messenger nor fb installed on my phone. I used fb lite instead.

Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

Artas few days ago said on his facebook page that his kernel was buggy and he's working on fixing those bugs. Since this rom, like many others, is based on his work, I think there is a lot of room for improvement. So keep up the good work. :fingers-crossed:
I also had a bootloop when tried to switch to ART. I know it's experimental and it's not a fully supported feature yet - just a fair warning.
Big thanks for your work and time!

Thank you a lot. I don't really need Bluetooth, but I need my phone. When you fix it I will test it as a daily driver.
I also hope Artas fixes his kernel. It's great but it has some problems. He's a good developer, but I don't think he has enough time to polish his work. Fingers crossed for it and him.

in the images I can see that not even 1 min and already consumed 2% battery, I do not want to imagine when you have whatsapp, twitter, ....
Do you have some configurations to maintain good performance? disable fast dormancy, use a specific theme, some compatible kernel?
On the other hand I like the slim projects I would like to keep it more active than its later version Slim6

I did not make changes to the kernel. The settings are the same as those used in LineageOS.
While on fast consumption, the device was being charged by USB and when I do this, when disconnecting, the percentage of the load goes away fast. The charge lasted normally after a normal charge
I forgot to warn: SamsungDoze has not been implemented in this build, however this is not affecting the battery drain. If there are problems, I'll enable it in the next build. Sorry.

Magisk does not work for S II (and will never according to the author of Magisk).
I would try LOS-su-addon (works for me, but I'm running RR) or another version of supersu (all to be flashed via TWRP).
Thank you, for the new Slim7 @linusdan
A question, How do I get root?
Regards.

Try to enable root with SuperSU. addonSU of the Lineage not work with this ROM
If it does not work, comment so that I can fix and deploy it in the next build.
Guys, I used the weekend to try to enable root mode with superSU in the builds, but I did not succeed. Since I will not have time to investigate why (another year of studies to win the ENEM and the SISU), I will try as soon as I have time, but no promises.
The monthly compilations will be waiting for you
For those who do not know what the ENEM is: it is like the SAT exam, and the SISU is the students' competition x the number of vacancies to enter the university.

It will be a stupid question but I have to ask, is this rom supports Vulkan or it is a driver issue that can't helped?

Nice.. Great job sur .. Keep it up ?
Hoping to get official support which we couldn't get in nougat , Thanks for the rom.
Does this ROM has sound crackling issue ?
Can use open camera/GCam?
Y'all guys need to try first due it's an initial release state
That mean bugs in this rom may be different for each other and chance of it could be high
So, feel it your self by try it out is better than asking with huge curiosity (that will make insomnia for you )
Anyway, i have to congrats to the devs for bringing a lot of custom roms for our phone
Keep rockin' :good:
Amazing!
No Have Radio Fm
thanks for the rom ,good work but missing fm radio
Perform ok, battery life can increase by setting kernel adiutor/ EX kernel manager.
Maybe the issue like in almost Oreo, sound echois, phone info *#*#4636#*#*, battery indicator charging offline.
Dolby atmos Oreo unity work, viper4afx work
Camcorder only via footej, third APK cam just worked in photo.
Maybe along the time it's will be fixed
Nice Rom :good:

2gb Variant.

?? Awesome rom bro! No Lags, No audio bug, No camera bug, or any other major bugs....Thanks a bunch. ??
Rom has volte trigger issue , everything else is working fine , awesome rom . Thanks for it:good:
Thanks for the smoothest, most stable Oreo ROM I’ve used on the Vibe K5. Could not find any major bugs, other than erratic notification LED behaviour, the VoLTE trigger issue, and lag while “night light” is enabled. Audio and camera functionality is quite stable, which is rare compared to other A6020 Oreo ROMs.
@[email protected] thanks for gifting us (me, yes it is subjective) the best rom for this device. First time a rom to be compared with Omni by harry. Excellent work bro.. Ignoring the VoLTE Trigger Bug, I can say it is a "One of Its Class Rom". The magic of Sources of DU is clearly dominant and is very well depicted by the top notch performance with great battery backup. You got a permanent user of DU. Even the AEX having cherry-picked commits from many roms and DU as well cannot match this rom's performance and snappiness.. I hope you keep it on highest priority wrt to monthly updates if they are planned for this rom, else the current build has nothing to improve on(Being a permenant Jio User, still I can ignore the VoLTE bug, considering the power of this rom :victory::victory::victory The rom is super fluid bro...
Still few things I would like to suggest on top of the DU source(if the rom stay unofficial)
2 commits
THIS
THIS :highfive::highfive::highfive:
And A Stylish VoLTE Icon if possible
Kudos and keep it up, and DU is far better than AEX and PE.. :good::good::good::good::good:

Thanks for the good words man! Stylish VoLTE icon incoming in next build
I shall see what I can do about those double tap to sleep stuff
Thanks
Guys, Probably the VoEnabler Magisk Module available under Magisk Repo(Magisk Manager>>Download) fixed the trigger issue which occurred after disabling/enabling data. But it doesn't survive reboots. I mean after toggling enhanced LTE mode once in every reboot fixes the issue.(at least for me).
And the surpassing thing is on first boot VoLTE works after I enable WiFi calling and toggle enhanced LTE mode. VoLTE Works without any triggering issue. But on second boot triggering issue comes. I did two clean flash to verify the issue for me.
Also @[email protected] the recipient of the call, doesn't hear the voice unless I speak loudly. Is it a known issue or shall I provide logs?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Instructions:
Before instaling, make sure you are running the latest Oreo firmware from the latest HTC Sense.
If you are encrypted but running an AOSP ROM then you're fine. If you come from Sense, take a full backup of all your data, boot into TWRP and format data (the option which requires you to type "yes") and clean flash accordingly. This is due to encryption changes. Do not skip this step or you will be locked out of your system by a password prompt.
If you are coming from any other ROM wiping /data is strongly recommended
Download the latest build and GApps (both links are below).
Reboot to TWRP.
Flash the latest build and GApps.
Reboot and enjoy (as much as currently possible)

Known Issues:
Verizon/Sprint are reportedly unstable.
Voice and Text over LTE doesn't work with every carrier.
Reporting bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred (please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing).
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg (do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot, a logcat after a reboot is useless).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

what are the properties of this rom? and screenshoot?
Dirty flash over slim rom 8.1 works just fine. No setup wizard issues that way magisk + safety net fixes discussed in slim thread also working for me now.
Will update if issues with time but nothing to speak of immediately after flashing.
M.
Had a quick play with it. Seems alright so far. Good early release. Definitely a little laggier than slim.
Only issue I found was the buttons doesn't show 'recents' but shows menu. So you cannot set recent button at all.
Good work on getting it this far!

I have been on slim for a week and now on this obviously only for a few hours but I no stability problems on either (I assume LOS device bringup is based on what Flinny did to get slim running, so much is the same). Speed is good, battery is good, no crashes or reboots.
Safetynet can be fixed with magisk, aosp clock is not playing along (at least on slim) so just install google clock from app store, couple little things like that but nothing that can't be fixed by the user.
I've gone through and replaced a handful of the stock aosp apps with the google play store equivalents, bsg gcam v4 works fine... But that is all just personal preference and everything works either way.

Yes, you're correct, it is stated on the original post that this is based on Flinny's device tree however there are bugs on here that you won't find on Slim and there are bugs on Slim that you won't find here, source tree related stuff.
One example is button illumination settings are working correctly here and there's also an option to only illuminate buttons on keypress, so they behave like Sense. (the lights always-on annoy the hell out of me).
I've tested the stock Clock and found no issues on my end. I'm working on a workaround to fix SafetyNet without needing to flash an additional zip. I'm updating the "Known Issues" section as I make progress and as more bugs are found. Keep reporting them

Oh that's no good, did you also use OpenGapps? I'll give other gapps a try and report accordingly on the main post. I haven't had playback issues on any other app other than YT. NewPipe is working on the meanwhile.

Beware of the bugs. This is still a very early stage. You don't have to thank me for this, Flinny did all the hard work with Slim.

Not yet, and as of now GesturesHandler isn't enabled either so no gestures for the time being. I'll look at that later, there's some more important issues to address first.
Double tap to wake up & sleep work?
can anyone provide mirror for rom?

I'll upload a second build to fix a couple of things later today and I'll provide another host. Preference? AFH isn't an option yet.
Thank you for your work! Really appreciate it!! ?

Thanks! maybe google drive?
---------- Post added at 08:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:27 PM ----------
Also I just noticed that this rom has some regular hiccups in the sense the phone would freeze for a moment and force close the app that would be running. Is anyone else facing this problem?

It definitely has some hiccups here and there but the only app force closing itself on my end is YouTube, which I'm still unsure why. I need to seek the help of a more experienced developer, the only related thing I can spot in the logcats is errors with the vp8/9 decoder but I'm not sure if that's why and also unsure how to fix atm. I'm still investigating :/
I'll push an update very soon to fix some other things tho.
edit: Update is live. I think I fixed the YouTube FC. At least it works now on my side. Changelog is on the second post.
Please keep providing feedback
im not able to flash this ROM, same error im getting on Slim by @Flinny

What is LineageOS:
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Instructions:
- Download the latest build and gapps/root and place them in your phones storage
- Reboot to twrp
- Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
- Flash it all
- Reboot to system
- SUCCESS!
Known issues:
- You tell me
Please note:
- DO NOT report bugs if you have xposed or other than the rom original kernel
- This build is almost fully stable and its stable enough for daily use
- I recommend using opengapps (link: LINK )
- if the rom doesnt pass safetynet WITH magisk installed, go to the magisk manager settings and re-enable magisk hide (turn it off and turn it on)

GPS is working, use bitgapps or opengapps (Bitgapps link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/vbskbno8oi7d1l0/BiTGApps-arm-10.0.0-v0.5-SW_signed.zip/file )

Nice, report what you think
I will install this on my dead touch screen bacon
Edit: flashing is so fast, even faster than pie
Edit2: Except battery percentage can't be shown, back swipe not working in trebuchet launcher, digital wellbeing is stopping working; rest is fine, feel smooth and better than Android pie. I believe lineage source is bug because pe is running fine for most phones on Android 10. Hope lineage can fix all their bug and remove some duplicate stuff, which already supports on Android 10 such as theme

Wellbeing is crashing on pie too so idk about that,
But thanks for saying and testing :good:
Just like to say.....did a thorough test yesterday on GPS,as I was out around town and it performed well....
cool! nice to see the continued lineage support!! Almost felt nostalgic while browsing the ringtone and notification sounds. Some of those tunes are there since android 1.5 or 2.1!
Otherwise seems ok. There is some (micro)stutter when scrolling or expanding the notification bar. Also traffic indicators are in the middle instead of lined up to the right. Not many settings but that was never the point of lineage. for an early build it looks pretty good!
Also a tip for the rest: (as of the time of posting) you can flash android 10 open gapps. since it greyed out on their mainpage you have to go to their sourceforge and then the beta folder where android 10 beta gapps can be found. works for me and could log in. No issues so far. flashed magisk too but both safety net checks didn't pass.

try magisk props config module or whatever it was called and change fingerprint to onyx, it might do something, the slutter when scrolling should be fixed in the next build i think and thanks for using it :highfive:
Edit: ok you don't actually have to use the magisk props config module, just turn magisk hide off and on and it will fix safetynet
Hello,
Thanks for the rom, it is super smooth and fast.
Some issues:
Quick charge doesn't work (origninal and aftermaket chargers)
customization doesn't work (black dark theme crashes)
override force-dark autodisables after reboot
battery life seems worse than LOS 16
Regards
For me black theme work.
Magisk and yt vanced working.
Led notification not working.
Swipe lock screen is not accurate. Sometimes I have to slide my finger a few times before unlock.
Long loading photos on galery. On Los16 works fine with the same number of pictures.
Battery profiles are removed? Or moved somewhere else?
Customize navigation buttons?
Besides that, great rom. I love bacon.
I had troubles with gestures (back gesture do not work). Also pill home button is not working (nothing happens when I choose this type of buttons), and I could not find setting to disable hardware buttons under the screen. Besides that it works ok. Google pay is not working and it said that I have rooted Phone (netflix is also not visible on Google play), but safetynet is passed
