you have to make a new one,the 5.6.9 patch makes sim cards disappear for ever. You have to re flash the rom to see sim cards again.
And maybe thats the problem people are having with no sim cards showing up.The a310 patch should be made each time for the specific rom.Its not universal
I did it 3 times.I flashed rom and gapps and sims were fine. After 1-2 reboots i flashed a310 patch and then sim cards disappeared for ever. All of the times i had to clean re-flash to see the sims

You should flash the patch immediately after flashing the ROM. If no avail then grab cygwin and android kitchen then extract & replace the files in the system folder to the system folder of the original ROM, also replace the boot.img. This is basically 'porting', you are using the a310 patch files to replace the original 'port' rom's files. If you don't get this, then looking a tutorial on porting Mediatek devices here on xda.

Friend's SIM card is invalid.

Why flash it immediately after the rom?
I always do it 1-2 reboots after the first boot and never had problems.
I personally don't think it is safe to do it together with rom+gapps flash.
For example for troubleshooting. If i had flashed the old rr a310 patch that the OP suggested, together with rom+gapps then i would have ended up with sims not working at first boot and that would make me think the rom is buggy.
The files that are replaced are read only as long as i understand, meaning that you won't lose/replace any settings android system had done to the old files that are going to be replaced. You could flash it 2 years later if you wish.
If there is some other logic behind it please explain,i would be interested to know.

I'm on a310 and internal sd card is not showing up anywhere. No app can see it,not even the system browser.
You only see external sd card labeled as ''sdcard0'' which this is the name of the internal sd card on other roms.
Noone tried this rom?

after a lot of testing and a lot of re-installs:Τhe original rom is excellent, best rom i've seen for this phone, fastest too.But.This port is really bad.Internal sd is not recognised by any app.Titanium backup cant restore,i tried all possible ways.Even with xinternal,ExtSD,new SuperSU,update.zip created from titanium, everything. It won't restore.
These 2 issues make the rom unusable for me.Needs re-porting.

the original is the official ones, for the phones the resurrection developers build for.
pacrom is good, gps is working but data need airplane mode every time you lose the signal. But roms using cm r46 like this one are way more stable on the network.cm 13 r46 is one but gps is broken.

Guys every time I get a call screen blacks out which makes my screen unusable
I can't pickup the call
Please fix this!

I'm having a random reboot problem too.
Soft reboot makes com.android.media force close. Normal reboot is the solution

We know that there are ways to flash with cwm5, but team androidarmv6 and i also dont want to use/support this legacy recovery support nor do we support it!
So dont post bugs if you flash CM11 with CWM5.x!
Use the working CWM 6.0.4.7 for flashing CM11!

Thats maclaws own decision to support legacy recovery.
No idea why he did it.
We dont want it.
Before we have had a working cwm6.x we internally tested with cwm5.x
Team androidarmv6 waited with cm11 public release untill they got cwm6.x working.
They decided to keep cm11 as clean as they can.
I also waited with my modded variants and cwm 6.x release untill i got the ok from team androidarmv6.
But now we have the situation we wanna prevent.
Some ppl support cm11 on cwm5.x

Torch should be fixed in latest nightly builds.
Fix was merged by team androidarmv6.
Will also be fixed on my next modded cm11.
Cm team created a dummy package named incallui to keep the process phone in memory to fix the phone black screen problems.
Not sure if its in latest cm11 nightly. Didnt tested yet.
Working on omnirom for ace atm.

okay, I clear my post before.
for cwm5.x i just think if maclaw way is better than modifiying updater script.. because its flashable with any recovery also cwm6.x
since, I found how it work.. I'll tested both way. and yeah. I dont publish it.

Wow I need to learn more of this one. Thanks for posting your work.
Boots up perfectly fine in Multi-boot. Looks great and is pretty smooth.

Thank you. I look forward to seeing where this goes.

From my understanding Abtekk and I are using the same original source however I will be posting updates daily and I am not changing the source, just building it, I believe that Abtekk has done some amount of development to improve his builds functionality beyond the original source tree. Also my Builds are flashable Zip's which work with recoveries like TWRP and CWM as well as MultiRom and effort Abtekk has not taken.
--correction Abtekk has noted that he was just building the source, again the difference is the consistency of nightly builds and the delivery format (ie.. flashable Zip)
wifi and cell work good, but camera not work

Whatever it may be. We are happy someone took the initiative. There are no rules against multiple threads for same OS development.
@abtekk did not really release nightlies even after naming his thread that way. Last build was in June. I hope @aaron.thomas.webster, you will. Thanks for your work.

I've got a couple of questions for you... hopefully we will be able to get it running for you.
First which version have you downloaded and have you verified the MD5 hash?
Second What method did you use to install the ROM, I assume a custom recovery and not MultiRom since it wiped your phone?
Third and this one is not for faultytowersdude but for everyone else, has anyone else had trouble installing, I have only tested it on MultiRom since I like my other Rom and don't fill like going through the backup/restore process.

Cyanogenmod 12.1 Unofficial Kinzie Port
Hi, everyone! Here's a little surprise for you: @Xadro and I have been working the last couples of weeks on porting CM12.1 to our Kinzie devices... and we have! So we wanted to share this little present with you, a port of CM12.1 for our brand new X Force device.
SCREENS
Some good old screens for you
COMPATIBILITY
From what we've tested, it works on EU Moto X Force, we don't know if it will work on devices from other zones - China, Brazil... Also, even if you could flash the ROM on US Droid Turbo 2 it probably wouldn't work as it doesn't have the Verizon vendor files on it, sorry .
WHAT WORKS
As far as we know, everything that's not Moto related.
What does that mean? No Moto Voice, Moto Actions or Moto Display, so please think carefully before flashing so you don't have to go back to store Moto later. Moto Gallery and Moto Camera can be flashed, though.
Also, if you see anything that's not working properly, please contact us.
WHAT DOESN'T WORK
As stated before, most Moto Apps will just FC.
Some applications fail to install from Play Store with an SDCard on the device.
Anything else you find while using it.
DOWNLOADS
CM12.1 for Kinzie ROM - [27/02/2016]
23/02/2016 version - works fine with multiSIM
Open GApps - Choose ARM64 and 5.1!
Modems
Lollipop 5.1 EU Modem
Lollipop 5.1 LATAM Modem
INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow these instructions carefully:
Copy the ROM and the GApps zip to your phone storage - internal or sdcard, it doesn't matter.
Unlock bootloader. CAUTION: this will probably void your warranty AND WIPE ALL YOUR DATA, INCLUDING INTERNAL STORAGE - photos, songs, documents...
Flash TWRP recovery from bootloader. I recommend using @Xadro's. If you are using mine, install this one, since mine won't let you flash the ROM.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.0.0_kinzie.img
If you were already on Android 6.0, flash the Android 5.1 modem. Otherwise you'll have network issues.
Code:
fastboot flash modem modem.bin
Reboot to recovery.
Do a full backup - you'll probably thank me later .
Wipe data, some settings from stock ROM may lead to bootloops or malfunction.
Install CM from the zip.
Install GApps.
Reboot and enjoy!
SOURCES
Kinzie Porting Github - the repos may be messy, we'll try to tidy them up a bit in the future.
CREDITS
CyanogenMod team for their base source and documentation.
AICP Team for their clark sources, since we used them as a base for kinzie.
Of course, @Arasthel and @Xadro .

CHANGELOG
[27/02/2016]
CPU freqs adjusted to stock ROM ones
Solved charging white screen issue - and probably, overheating while charging
IR sensors working!

I also just tried flashing and everything seems to work except for no sim card recognized. I also have mexican moto x Force. If anyone can tell us how to get service that would be great.

I'm going to try to flash UK modem and see if that will fix it, I don't really care if i lose the second sim slot. I don't use the dual sim setup anyway. Downloading right now, will report back if succesfull.
Edit: Nope, no SIM...
I wonder if they can do whatever they did to the eu modem to our mx modem to make it work with the port?

CM dev got the Moto Quark IR sensors to work just fine. (Droid Turbo XT1254, Moto Turbo XT1225, "international" Moto Maxx XT1225, U.S. Moto Maxx XT1250)
So, it's possible.
We have 12.0, 12.1 (Lollipop 5.1.1) and now Preview Build of CM 13 (Marshmallow), all with Motorola IR sensors. Other Quark ROMs are also using CM's code.

Actually, we didn't do anything to the EU modem, it's the stock 5.1 one. If you flash the MX 5.1 one and it doesn't work, that's because build.prop is not configured properly. It would be helpful if you upload your stock build.prop, but it will be difficult to detect your phone region in order to use the configuration you need. Maybe @Xadro can think of a better solution.

We're not saying it's not possible, we're saying it's a really difficult task. Quark uses the STM401 sensor device with Moto Sensor Hub to make IR work. Instead, Clark and Kinzie use the STML47X sensor. While there is a library module for STM401 there doesn't seem to be one for STM4L. Maybe the STM401 will partially work, but I wouldn't bet on that...

Not clear which modem you flashed...
Re-flash your stock modem for YOUR phone.
If you already did that, sorry.
Ok, so here's my Build.prop, I don't know if that would help. Anyway, thanks a lot.

Thanks for the build.prop, I was able to make a new configuration for LATAM Kinzie. Can you try this version? Also, remember to flash the right modem (LATAM for 5.1). It's the "NON-HLOS.bin" file that comes on the stock ROM zip, or at least it was on EU.

Yeah, i've already flashed the right módem, in fact i downgraded to stock 5.1.1 to be ready for your ROM cause CM or AOSP is what I was craving for the X Force since i've found the stock to be solid, but sluggish at times. Will try this Build in a few hours, when I can get some WiFi coverage, and then report back. Thank you for your hard work.

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

No you don't need to do anything if you've already done the partition swap. I would make sure I am on MDMowers TWRP and you should be fine, don't dirty flash the ROM do clean flash only.

Yes, backup your stuff and wipe everything. And yes, you can use aroma if you'd like.
Any Specific Baseband?
Beeko, Is there a specific baseband/radio version for this ROM? I'm coming from PACROM 5.1.1 and the baseband that IT requires is installed. When I clean-flashed and booted phone into this ROM, I had no connection/wireless service. I'm going to attempt it again today and check out more possibilities I may have missed. Thank you for keeping this phone relevant and up to date.

As I said before, thanks for publicizing your interest in keeping this phone model "flowing". You have a donate paypal? I'll toss some bucks your way, since I have been using PacManRom, and now hearing from you about this...interactively. Glad to see people squeeze all performance out of (unsubsidized) 600.00 dollar pieces of gear, instead of contracts, latest and (perceived greatest) phone "upgrades".

I'm not accepting donations personally but thank you. I've been busy with other devices so I've kinda left this one in the dirt. But I'm gonna see what I can do for it here this next week or so.
New build in OP. Hopefully got the RIL problem fixed.
ROM update in OP, along with fixed RIL. Wasn't sure if it was working last build, tried with my SIM and it works fine.
Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for this ROM. It is really a great ROM. Super smooth and stable. It is not my main phone anymore but every now and then I switch to it for awhile for some reason. Not sure if it's the smaller size or the nostalgia (was my first smart phone), but I just can't seem to get rid of this phone. Was using your PAC Rom up until now, but it's good to get it updated to an MM based ROM for when I do use it.
Decryption Issues
Hi
when i turn on my htc it asks for a password..
could you provide it.

Thank you, again. The phone is like brand new with this Rom. No loggers, no adware shows up. Great having adaway built in. This Rom makes this old phone sooooo smooth, runs cooler, battery seems managed better. I'm not a fan of android coaxing me to format my SD to it, but I did (backed the contents up to Pc) so the phone has 32 gigs mem. Again, THANK YOU!
The only bug I have found so far, Is turning off mobile hotspot hangs, unless I restart, hotspot stays on. Sometimes I can get it to turn off if I tap hotspot settings or mess with wifi power button bar. On Pacman Rom, what fixed it for me was "allow wifi scanning even when wifi is off." I'm looking for similar settings to see if that does the trick.
Many Thanks Beeko!

Thanks for this rom, just posting this info for others who may want to know what it can/can't do.
I had a little trouble deciphering the conversion from stock to the swapped CM11/12 version ( I first tried what the page describes as for CM13 roms, but ended in boot loops with logcat choking on /data/media permissions)
ROM runs great. I had forgotten the issues with trying to get too many apps on the PacRom with stock partitions.
Data/cell seems fine, video playback excellent, it now makes for a nice portable media player.
I don't have it activated, so cant comment on the hotspot issue mentioned above but Bluetooth has issues.
Can turn on and see other devices, but I get the message "cant communicate to xx:xx:..." when trying to pair to a known working speaker.
A minor flaw in an otherwise great ROM.
Thanks for developing it.
edit: on a whim, I initiated pairing to my speaker, flipped the speaker's power on/off, and immediately the phone changed the mac address of the speaker to it's identifying name, and a pairing request popped up. Pairs successfully.

Dirty Unicorns Semi GSI for Samsung Devices
By CodeFox & OpenSauce9810
What is this?
This is a Semi Generic System Image. That means it's a generic system image that's been optimized as much as possible for our Samsung Devices.
How the heck do I flash this?
It's slightly different than flashing a zip, so here's what you need to do.
Download the image file
UNCOMPRESS IT .xz is a compressed file. So you can uncompress it with zarchiver from the playstore or 7zip/winrar.
Flash the ARH6 Vendor Image to your Vendor Partion from TWRP (Press the Install Image button at the bottom right of where you usually select a flashable zip)
Flash the System Image to your System Partition
Optional if you want root (but reccomended): Reboot to recovery again then flash your choice of Magisk. I use 17.1 as I can get galaxy wear to work with that version.
Reboot your device and you should be good to go! No need to flash gapps as they're included.
03.12.2018
Initial Release
05.12.2018
Updated sources to 9.0 r21 release. (December Security Patch)
Gapps included, (dialer and messenger also included so you won't start without a phone or sms app)
Bootanimation changed to reduce boot times
Tweaks to ambient play ticker so it clears when you clear media notifications
Further performance tweaks thanks to @malinathani animations transition smoother now.
09.12.2018
Keystore fixed - You can now use fingerprint within apps (once you've passed safetynet with hideprops module)

Fingerprint doesn't worth within apps. Other than that though everything's pretty much good I think.
@CodeFox Thanks for this rom. I used to make my own Du builds for nexus device. It was sucha an amazing experience.
Would love to try DU for note 9.
Just a couple of questions -
- Does any of the Touch wiz features like, pen related features ( bluetooth control work ) ?
- Phone related features by flashing csc files for specific network still doable ?

Pretty much all Samsung features are lost on AOSP however there are a lot of alternative apps that can "revive" the Spen.

I flashed this twice. Both times I couldn't get the setup wizard to show up. There are no gapps in the app drawer either.
Can someone confirm? I'm pretty sure I did everything right with the flashing process..

Gapps aren't included. You'll need to download a package from opengapps. Arm64 9.0. I recommend nano.
Don't forget to download a phone and SMS app too.
I copied and pasted from my PE thread so I need to take out the gapps included part. My bad, sorry about that.

Haha I can understand. Btw I just restored the galaxy wearable, Samsung accessory service, gear s plugin and Samsung health using titanium backup and I didn't have to reset my gear. It just connected right away and it's working fine now. The backup I made using titanium backup was on Pixel Experience right before I flashed this rom.
I hope it doesn't do a freak reset later.. Too good to be true? :silly:

I agree with you on those issues. Apps like whatsapp are affected with the delayed notifications so I avoid backing it up with titanium backup. Still, the fact that Gear doesn't need to be reset is a big thing. I even toggled Bluetooth on and off multiple times and it still connects to it without any prompt for reset
