What for Xposed Modules you are using? - LG G5 Questions & Answers

i'm using:
AdBlocker
FlatStyleBar Indicator (payed)
ChromePie
G4 Tweakbox
GravityBox
HideEmergency Button
SkyolinHelper <- you can add Multiwindow and change DPI per App
Ultimate Whatsapp Theme Engine
Xtana

I'd also be interested to hear what people are using (and why - what it brings that stock doesn't).
I've not unlocked yet but phone seems pretty stable so I'm planning on doing it soon just to get Xposed.

i am using following modules:
AdBlocker (blocks in-app ads)
Amplify (extends standby-time)
G4 TweaksBox (Collection of LG G4 tweaks, many working on g5)
GravityBox [MM] (UI-Tweak-Collection - i really missed statusbar brightness slider)
UnbelovedHosts (webbrowsing adblocker [blocks by hostname])

For Xposed installer:
Xposed by dvdandroid
Modules:
ActivityForceNewTask
Adblocker
CPUTemp
CrappaLinks
GravityBox
Lucky Patcher
XposedAlwaysCorrect
Youtube AdAway
Youtube Backgraound Playback
YoutTube notification seek bar
YoutubeSwipeToSeek
Zoom For Instagram

Does this get rid of the annoying ads over the video or trailer style ads you have to sit through?

Fingerprint Enabler - Use fingerprint after turning your device on (no need to enter pin/password/pattern)

I dont know about you but i am able to unlock with fingerprint even when the screen is on (asking for knock-code)

When the phone turns on (after being off) you no longer need to enter a passcode before using fingerprint

It does exactly what he said. whenever you reboot your phone, the phone require you to put in the pin in order to unlock it for the first time. This module overrides that and let you use your fingerprint instead(worked for me). And also lets you use fingerprint if the screen is locked by 3rd party software(never tried this)

Ah nice, thanks will try that
Gesendet von meinem LG-H850 mit Tapatalk

right now i uses:
-amplify
-fingerprintenabler
-g4tweaksbox
-gravitybox
-greenify
-installeropt
-playstore changelog
-powernap

Delete

When you first power on the phone you have to enter the pin. This makes it so even on a restart or power on you can unlock with your fingerprint.

I have g5 f700l korean version. still no support for root, xposed .

Small Chrome issue

Hey there!
This might sound blunt but did anyone figure out a way how copy an URL out of the Chrome URL-Bar? The XTZ will let me mark it if I click in it but there seems to be no way to just copy the URL... or am I missing something?
I checked on my GN and it works fine there btw.
Thanks

Yeah I tried that but that would just make the highlighting disappear.

If it disappears after you hit copy then maybe it worked?
But originally said you clicked it. Once you see ur, just hold down on it until you see copy icon come up
Post a screenshot of what it looks like after you hold down on it

No it doesn't work. You know I click in the URL bar once which highlights the whole URL. Then usually, at least on the Galaxy Nexus, I would have to long press the highlighted URL so that the dialog to either copy, cut etc. will appear. But this doesn't work on here as the long press would just make the highlight disappear and leave me with the cursor where I put my finger to long press the URL. I should mention that this just happens to be the case in the URL Bar of Chrome as on the websites themselves copying works just fine.
Has noone else experienced that on the XTZ?

Like I said, don't click it to highlight
When you first see the url just long press on it
Does this happen on all browsers?
don't single tap or long tap -- double tap. when you do, you'll get a Text Selection menu across the top of the screen - select all, cut, and copy, and done.

Thank you so much, that's exactly it!
It's kinda weird though, that they would handle copying URLs differently on the same browser on different devices.

Just wanted to pop in and say this is my absolute favorite feature in PAC, screw halo and pie and all the other nifty stuff, this is the most useful and battery-saving feature I've seen in the ROM. If there's anything that can be done to further the development of it, I say make it a priority over other features! Maybe group the wakelocks by the app they represent, for example ebay may have more than one wakelock so have an ebay category that you can click on and it lists the few wakelocks it has underneath it, to be dealt with as such. Just a suggestion, I know many apps only have one but some people don't know what they're disabling with it being the way it is right now (which is okay, they should use their brain and not disable it if they don't know/haven't researched the results).
Keep up the good work, peace!
I love this feature!
Can we just block every wakelock for best battery life?
Will it stop apps working or break anything?
Do not stop everything. Lots of apps will stop working (like alarm clock, calendar reminders, notification sounds etc) and it might cause instability in general.
It's a very handy feature but better use it with caution.
I'm sorry if ti's a newbie question.
Is there any way to port this feature to the 4.4 ParanoidAndroid?
thx
heY is it possible to export that feature ? I mean to make it usable with xposed.

Does anyone have a list of wakelocks that are okay to block?
I'm crying that this isn't an apk or module yet.
Please, please, please?
Where I can see this code of the feature from github.com
Would love to have this as a apk or module!
There isn't good wakelock blockers on xposed right now. I tried it out on pac and its great but i want it for my rom

@MaDc0w
Which ROM has this feature, or How do I go into this wakelock blocker interface.
There is an App for wakelock disabler!
Install xPosed Installer and install the module called Amplify under it!
Its very unrefined, but gets the job done anyway. xPosed does have compatibility issues with customs roms, yet when i installed it with CM11 rom it worked fine! Do check it out
Guys.. . This feature is accessible if you run PAC ROM and open developer settings.

[MOD][2.3+] Remove "Downloaded Only" banner from Play Music (PMDOR)

Simple module this, removes the "Downloaded Only" bar from the top of Play Music, which can be annoying when you're offline and turn it on to avoid greyed out albums and unplayable songs
Doesn't remove the drawer option, so you can still turn it off there.

This no longer works on the latest version (5.8).
Updated for material version (sorry for the delay), I'm pretty sure it will still work on Android 2.3 but am not totally sure, if anyone can test that would be great

It doesn't remove that bar. It removes the banner you get when it's turned on.
Grey Bar on bottom of screen
Hey man, love your module! But there is one thing that is kind of annoying me, after turning on Download Only mode, a grey bar appears at the bottom of the screen, assumingly the same size as the removed "Download Only" banner. Don't know if this is replicated on every device but it is on mine.
Thank you for this fantastic module! I was just wondering if there are any plans to also remove the "Get Unlimited Music" banner that was added in the latest update. Thanks
MODEL: VS980 ?
ROM: LiquidSmooth ?
KRNL: B14CKB1RD ?
RCVRY: TWRP 2.8.4.0 ?
Hey man just a heads up that the update to GPM today broke your module, hope you can fix it. By far my most favorite module.
Yes, on the new version the text is removed but the bar still remains.

It still needs to be flashed through custom recovery though...http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
You need to flash first.. So you need unlocked bootloader. I flashed it on h815. Youtube ad away is working , xprivacy is popping up Windows, dont know if working correctly as this is my first phone with xposed installed. I also tried app settings - it starts. But i cant see any changes on apps where i change dpi [ Clash of clans for example ] even after reboot.
Texdroider dpi worked flawlessly for me...
As for xposed, thanks a lot man! I will install it first thing in the morning, as soon as I make a backup

Greenify and Amplify is working for you? I heard that Greenify settings don't stick and Amplify isn't support on 64-bit phones yet
Greenfy works but i need to set it every single reboot... Amplify as i can see on logs from xposed its working
You can install xposed without custom recovery:
Check my post here
So finally got enough time off work to play on my phone.. So glad I can use xposed again with my quick circle.. So I just wanted to add one that was not mentioned yet.. Screen off animation works(at least crt. Only one I wanted, only one I tried..) also screen on animation works too. Just in case some don't know, even though G3 tweaksbox for kk worked on other Lg devices with the same ui like many of the gpads do, G3tweaksbox for lp does not.
Also should add xstana works for some of the nav and status bar mods.. I'm using the G3 nav bars now.. Not a big fan of material nav bars..

Replacing Lollipop navigation icons -» with xposed module, quickly and easily

Hello guys. A couple of months ago ffalete and me prepared a xposed module it LG G3 to a telephone. We did not like us Lollipop navigation icons, so we wanted to return to the old KitKat icons. I thought, if it works, this method is LG G4. I do not have such a phone, so I could not test. But a friend (Nagytoll) of mine helped me , and so we were able to test it. And yes, we have seen it work. And since it is a module, if you do not like something or not working well, it can turn off...
Three sizes are:
size "A" = Big
size "B" = Middle
size "C" = Small
One at a time (1) module is active or installed. Tested: Stock rom and Genisys Rom 2.1.

N51 icon theme:
Snake theme:
and much more....here you can watch the themes.
Any comments, tips, ideas, bugs, please write me an e-mail: [email protected]
Note: In this module, so we can put icons as you want. Need to add a little bit of knowledge: using Adobe Fireworks and use apktool. That's it.

Xstana isn't working properly on my LG G4 H815, it causes lag when using status bar and nav bar themes. It makes the app menu unable to open and I can't access apps through ROM Toolbox, either.
it opens but just takes very long.. dont know the reason why...
Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
When using only nav bar, it opens after roughly 10-20 seconds. When using both, it doesn't open or it takes so long I've been too impatient to wait longer I'll try only status bar later, but I've stopped using Xstana for the time being.
