General Question about PwnPhone - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I know it can be used on Nexus 5 phones and Nexus 7 Tablets(Atleast that's from what i've read). So my only question is since I can't seem to find anything on it. Can I turn any android phone/tablet into a PwnPhone/PwnTab or is it only on certain devices? Anytime I search all I get are results for the Nexus 7 Tablets and LG Nexus 5 phones.

What no skyGo

It looks like British TV network Sky is starting to catch up with the the pace of Android OS upgrades. Today it's launched a new version of its Sky Go mobile TV app, introducing support for 14 new devices along with Android versions 4.1-4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). Today's update brings Sky Go to a wider audience, after an update over the summer first opened it up to ICS phones.
From our own device history, we can confirm that Sky Go supports the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Galaxy S3 LTE, Galaxy Note 2, Sony Xperia T, LG Optimus 4X HD and Jelly Bean'd Galaxy Nexus, amongst others. Notable exceptions include the HTC One X+ and One S, which unfortunately remain unsupported.
Other changes in the new version of Sky Go for Android include improved navigation and various other UI changes.
so the Nexus 4 and 7 get it but no nexus 10 ?
surely this is some kind of cruel wind up?
I know this is a big joke, im new to the android platform and just purchased the Nexus 10 and Sky Go is the one thing lacking from it right now. So just to add salt to the wounds they update the app but dont make it compatible with Nexus 10. My take onit is just that there lazy!!
I think the Nexus 7 is the first Android tablet supported by Skygo so that is a milestone and the Nexus 10 is sure to follow.
Has anyone tried simply installing the apk?

Yes, it looks terrible and won't let you view channels as the device isn't compatable..

[Q] Best Nexus Phone out there

Hi All,
Just wondering which is the best Nexus phone till date.
After 4 generations in the Nexus family, Google must be getting ready to launch the next Nexus (may be Nexus 5):
- HTC Nexus One
- Samsung Nexus S
- Samsung Galaxy Nexus
- LG Nexus 4
Lets have a poll then...

What phone is everyone switching to once they return their Note 7?

TZ back with another video, this time i am looking at alternative smartphones for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, due to battery explosions, 2 recalls and major safety concerns the Note 7 has finally been killed off and production stopped completely. Due to a mandatory recall i have returned my Note 7 and many of you are in the same position as me, what now? Well all Note 7 owners know that no other phone can compete for features so lets look at the best of the rest. What are you replacing your Note 7 with? LG V20? Moto Z, Pixel XL? iPhone 7 Plus? Nexus 6P? Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge? Honor Note 8? Chinese phones like Xiaomi? OnePlus 3? HTC 10? Note 5? What did you pick and why?

Getting into ROM development; is it possible to unofficially upgrade devices?

I have a few devices that my family uses, namely a Dell Venue 7 3730 tablet with 4.4 KitKat & a Samsung Tab 4 SM-T230NU tablet with 4.2 KitKat. Both devices had received limited support from both their developers and the XDA community (due to both devices having a small market share). I figure that both these tablets aren't worth the money from selling them (the Venue 7 was free and the Tab 4 was a gift, yet neither are worth the little amount of money I could get).
My question is this: is there a way for me to get the source code for a "generic" Android device with Marshmallow or Nougat. And port it to these devices? If this is possible, what do I need to do, and are there conversion/porting guides out there that I can learn from?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nexus 5 Or 5X?

Can anyone tell me which of the two devices has more custom Roms? Or are they about the same?
Don't even think about the Nexus 5X, which is notorious for its "Bootloop of Death."
