Appreciate the work you put into this, can't wait to try it. I've been putting MM off until Xposed runs in the TW ROMs - any idea if it does yet?

I believe that requires a deodexed ROM. I don't remember. I'm still working on deodexing it so it still runs.

last i tried it still gives boot loop. (as of a few weeks ago) the devs that were working on it said that making it compatible with touch wiz based roms wasn't a priority as it still had many other issues to work through with 5.0.1 and 6.0.1 roms. Starting with lollipop the structure has changed a bit in the android source and it's caused issues with xposed.
Also, were you able to get native tethering enabled in this rom? it is somethign i've been struggling with in my roms since the upgrade. In 4.4.4 i had native tethering going, something about 6.0.1 just wont click though. I tried editing build.prop, i tried editing settings.db in sqlite, xposed gives boot loop, etc.

I've been running xposed on Stock MM TW on my edge for quite awhile now... Get Xposed Installer by dvdandroid and use Xposed Framework version 86.0-alt (custom build by wanam)

You have links for those that worked for your device?
Also did you update to 6.0.1 with the bootloader unlock method or was you on an original dev edition? (Might not matter at this point as all are technically devs now, but curious)
Also @chevy when I wiped and installed your rom supersu wasn't working I had to flash it in twrp. And it still had some bloat items like peel remote and some other stuff. I took a look in your rom folder and there was a lot of unnecessary folders. I checked my files and I kept some of them for convenience but most of them I dumped. (Not sure which debloat method you used, but I used nautilus and the delete key)

I have not tried to work on tethering yet. I'm compressing apks, and optimizing all ogg sound files next. I'm sure I will run across a couple other things, but I'll certainly try to get tethering working. One thing I KNOW I need to do, is see about working on the kernel a little. I need to get some extra performance out of it. Too bad nobody makes a kernel for the VZW variant. I'm not a kernel dev, but I'll do what I can.

Find the xposed zip that I mentioned in the app and it should download and flash it for you. :good:
Retail phone with 6.0.1 bootloader unlock. I've tried GravityBox, wanam, YouTube AdBlock, and many more all work fine.

If i had any idea what a kernel was supposed to look like i'd tackle it myself, but i have zero intention of giving myself a very expensive paper weight with built in night light. honestly never intended to do anything kernel wise. Back on the original droid i always looked for roms with kernels that supported overclocking or had it already set to be over clocked which cleared up all the F/C issues it was plagued with out of the box. but since that hasnt been an issue i never thought of looking into it.
I hope you can get it going though would be nice to see what can be done with this device. now that i have this down i want to look into making ports of something like AOSP or something CM based.

Got X Tether installed, seems to be working. I can enable tethering and connect and it doesn't pull up that verizon app.

Im still working on the tethering fix. Im currently uploading a HUGE update to the ROM. Its a pretty decent update. Enough to warrant a bump to v2.00. Should be about 2 hours before its live. My upload speeds here at home arent the greatest.

v2.00 is up. Improved a LOT of things. Huge difference.

So I just flashed this and don't seem to have SuperSU, anyone have a link to one I could flash? Or maybe I'm not rooted? I'm not actually sure if theres a difference between the two.
SuperSU says I don't have the SU binaries installed, how do I go about fixing that? It's been so long since I've done any of this...
Never mind I'm dumb, I figured it out. Needed to flash the SuperSU zip, not install from play store. God its been so long. Someone can delete this if they want.

Idk if this is the place to ask but what would be the likely hood of getting an ASOP rom? And or could roms from other carriers' Note Edges or the Note 4 work?

When it comes to the Note lineup, I stay away from AOSP. You would lose the use of the s-pen and the IR blaster. The two biggest things about the Note.
However, I'm already thinking about other ROMs for the other variants, and seeing what I can port over or integrate into mine.

With Wanam were you able to change the notification panel colors? The changes don't seem to apply for me.

Can't say I tried it. I didn't have Wanam installed for long, most everything I needed it for was covered by GravityBox.

Thanks-a-million!
Worked like a charm.

Apparently, CPG2 was just released by Verizon for the Note Edge. Its likely just a security patch update. Once I get my hands on it, will make another release from it. There may be another release between now and then thats based on CPD1 still, but we will see how long that takes.

hmm. I have an original dev edition. Im still on 4.4.4.
I have TWRP v2.8.6.0 I tried to flash the ver 2 ROM, but I get
" This package is for "tblte" devices; this is a "trltevzw".
Do I need to do something else?

After so many days fighting with OxygenOs2 SystemUI finally i got some success.
Introduction:
O2 system UI is hard coded by oneplus developer with unknown source. latest apktool is not able to compile it . error is already raised at
https://github.com/iBotPeaches/Apktool/issues/1091
So i Used H2 system UI in this ROM.
Status Bar and quick setting panel is taken from H20.
SystemUi is fixed
Please Note:
dont try to flash any OTA directly or by editing script ..otherwise it will hard brick the system
Only Download OTA from Online Folder (Mega.co.nz)[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR]
For FAQ
1. Some user saying ROM not flashing in TWRP- Do not download mega-co-nz online folder as zip, select file you want to download then right click to see download option
Only use TWRP 2.8.6.0 to flash ROM, TWRP 2.8.7.X is not flashing modem, firmware & radio images..
If you want to set security PIN just set for 4 Digit otherwise your device will be locked.

Interesting, will be giving this one a go. However, a question if I may.
You stated that you finally had some luck with OxygenOS 2's SystemUI but then later in the post you said you have to use H2OS's SystemUI instead of OxygenOS 2's. Which one is it?

Such a shame. Well, I'll give this a go anyway since H2OS's quick settings bar is pretty neat. Not to mention it looks good.

First impressions, holy guacamole. It's liquid smooth. The boot animation was the first thing that me totally "wowed". You can see the animation at solid 60FPS. It's that smooth.
But here comes my worst encounter. I decided to set PIN lock on my device. And guess what? I got locked out of my own phone. This is the thing with using H2OS's SystemUI. The PIN is set according to Android's usual N-key PIN, but the SytemUI gives you thr 4-key PIN layout. So I had to start all over again but this time with no PIN set. So dangerous. This is just one incompatibility that I found. There could be more that might be a lot more worse than this.
Other than these, I still have a lot to go through. Great job so far, by the way. Looking forward to a fully functional Oxygen SystemUI soon.

Thanks for this review...will add this point in OP that only use 4 digit password pin...
Downloaded and installed
Nice work m8! its liquid smooth but seemed a little laggy at first. Then i reduced the animations to 0.25 and it was normal then. I need to check the battery. I will post ss after testing battery. The thing is that i received a notification for OTA after installation. I know you told me not to flash and I didn't. I mentioned OTA so that you can download the file and get working on the update. Please try to fix out the system ui. That's it for now.
Only 1 reason i might move
is maxx audio from the op2 present ??
opx doesnt has maxx audio.
opo has audiofx style maxx audio
op2 has otg maxx audio

Make a full wipe and flash straight! No need to flash other firmware. Firmware is included in the ROM
@pradeepsmehra buttons remapping in the settings doesn't work as of yet.
And notifications icon don't appear on the status bar(due to HydrogenOS's SystemUI)

Use TWRP recovery 2.8.6.0 .
2.8.7.0 + recovery is not flashing modem, radio and firmware..
Or you can install firmware file inside zip by fastboot...

yes, notification icons are not appearing..just number of notification pending can be seen in status bar.
for hard buttons settings i know..its also because of system ui.
for system ui of OPT...it will not work buddy..i already tried..
if you see OPT is working with just framwork-res.apk
but OPX is working with additional framwork oxygen-framwork-res.apk
this additional framework is built with unknown source..

It's their device and they're not required to open-source out their ROM anyway. Have you thought of compiling CM's SystemUI and framework-res.apk for the ROM to replace the current HydrogenOS SystemUI? But a lot of stuff needs to be done for on your side to get CM to work.
Did you notice when d2w is being use, the phone vibrates?
Maybe @CraZY_BoY^ is willing to chip in to help?
Can't wait till this is 100% love how smooth and fast, and the dark look. Loved it on the one plus x.

INSTALLATION GUIDE:
Download here the latest build
Reboot to TWRP
Install the Rom using latest adb v1.0.39 or newer. If you download it directly in your phone, just install it tapping the Install in TWRP and navigating-selecting the rom.
Aroma installer will guide you through. DON'T SELECT THE WRONG DEVICE ~LMAO!!!~
Reboot
First boot can take up to 10 minutes, have patience (it should be closer to 5-10 minutes though)
Wait about 1 or 2 Minutes before you start setting up because it's an odexed Rom that got Deodexed, so it needs a minute to cache.
Profit
ISSUES:
Volume in Settings FC
Admin privillages cannot be removed in Settings (FC again), unless you force reinstall the app.
**Those 2 bugs are not major and are well known, but they are permanent and caused by the deodexing of the Rom.

this a lot but we cannot do it on our own as we see only bugs that are coming from
our everyday use. We don't have the time to experiment with every little detail. That's
where your support is coming in. With your reports we can make this rom better.

I like to keep the ROM clean from modding the system because there are bugs sometimes caused from modding that !
So flash 3minit system mods separately.

Sweet mate!
Somehow I'll convert my thread to a Q&A/Support for the H811 version only
Probably link back here too
Awesome.
Away for the weekend still, but monday morning's right around the corner for me
Working on v.10 already because it's gonna be a big update.
- Will be the Last Full OTA from Dominion Rom for G4 (until we have a security patch update or an sdk version update) !
- Choosing the wrong device will not be something irreversible and dangerous. You will be able to fix that by dirty-flashing again.
**Caution:
v.9 now IS dangerous. If you choose the wrong device, you must use kdz to restore or ask kevp75 for bootloader .bin files of H811 to flash them and fix it.

ive had this issue more times than i can count.
happens to me every 5th flash or so, and it has to do with the partitions not getting formatted correctly... so the modules included with the kernels dont flash correctly.
there is 2 fixes.
either kdz, re-twrp, re-root, re-clean, then reflash
or do the Unorthodox methos from TURBO2012 (search for it)

cruppted = corrupted ? it's not.
Your internet connection was lost while downloading.
Sorry for the bluetooth bug.
After all the ROM is perfect. I discovered that it's the aroma installer bug.
The installer doesn't copy/paste all of the files, only some of them. I don't really know why.
I will change the aroma installer for the next build.
For now this patch will flash an overall fix.
1. Fixes Bluetooth for h815
2. Fixes the missing themer permissions.
3. After flashing it you wont have root. Choose and flash the root method you prefer.

It may not be the installer mate.
Its happenned to me a few times... (among others)
it could be hung permissions during the cleaning process in twrp... yeah... it shows formatted... but maybe not...
It seems that the aroma installers don't like big file paths.
I'm sorry again everyone about this little bluetooth bug in v.9, some files were not installed from the aroma installer.
v.10 tonight will fix those.

Is this your first ROM or first day in XDA ?
languages are automatically changed after setting it up and if you have internet access.
The base is coming from the american h811 and so is the rom, thats why. But all android roms are universal. So it will auto-change. just like mine. I didn't have Greek , but i gave it at least a chance to boot and as you see in the screenshots, its in Greek !
DPI isn't something permanent. 530 is just my chosen dpi.
In screen settings you can increase the font, or if you insist on changing the dpi, use from pc terminal the command:
Code:
adb shell wm density 640
or inside phone's terminal
Code:
wm density 640
EDIT: !!!
I will add this.
If a language is really missing, not from the setup , but afterwards in the UI, please inform me.
I can just change to Europe base. Thats easy !!!

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.

You may post.
This ROM was tested under the following conditions:
1. Wipe/Factory reset
2. Flash ROM, Gapps, SuperSU, in that order
Any other conditions may cause problems
This is the first build, there may be issues that I didn't test for, but major functionality is OK.
@ZakooZ
Is it possible to use the latest 7-11-17 kk_bl.img with this rom? It is from mosimchah from his AICP rom and includes the latest changes. I would like to give Paranoid a try but as you know I'm still locked on the old bootloader.

I highly doubt it
I just made this: PA_KK_BL_kernel.zip. Try it, flash after rom+gapps and before supersu. I haven't tested it so I can't guarantee it does work.
Okay, guys!
Short review!
I've tested the rom for a few days now and so far it is rock stable. All works fast and smooth and battery seems on par with AICP/LOS/RR.:highfive:
I'm missing a lot of features like more quick settings tiles, more customizable navbar, statusbar center clock and so on... :crying:
It's almost like stock android with another browser, calender and music app and theming options, which I've not tried yet.
I know, it's an early build but I need too much of additional apps to get the missing features back, so I'll switch back to my prefered rom for now.
Maybe when more features are added and the rom is more like PA in 2014/15 was....but it is a start!:good:
ROM Looks Tasty
I'm always up for a port that tries a new direction and this seems to do that. All my tests with new ROMS is always full format and wipe, running current stable TWRP, LP BOOTLOADER, etc. It looks like this work runs plain Super SU without Magisk, and you indicate open gapps. Could I use magisk at all? And I find the BEANS Gapps to be more reliable.
Not to pry, but where are you focusing now for these versions? Are you still going to keep up with the big changes that PA brings, or work further with Oreo developement?
Either way, I'd like to give this one a run just for fun.
Thanks as always for your work that keeps my tabs, and my wife very happy. ;DeanoD

I missed something here; I have Prime kernel on all my units. Is it essential to switch to the Lineage Kernel that you provide? Always curious about inter-compatibility with such things to keep it working well.
With that said, I need an updated to my TWRP version. In which order to flash TWRP, KERNEL, ROM, AND SUPERUSER. (Or TWRP, ROM, MAGISK- or is that asking for trouble? Thaks again. ;-DeanD
Solid ROM. Nice, Simple, Clean
I flashed this ROM last night, and so far, I'm very impressed. While it lacks some of the bells and whistles from the RR build, it has a solid feel to it. Speed and performance are great as well. Other than a slight keyboard lag, this could work well as a daily driver on my stable of three smp600 units. I started with one, found one online when my wife wanted one, and then I got another for backup (and tinkerin') . While the ROM flashed perfectly, the suggested kernel was a bust. But, the build is I think more robust than the other's I've tried. I do miss having a recents menu, and I haven't been able to find any pie controls. I'm glad that I was scouring the forums and found this gem. Great Work! ;-DeanoD
"Official Devices"?
I'm interested about the improved pie controls listed under the features of this ROM.
I could not find them. I'm guessing that my smp 600 is somehow not an "Official Device" for this ROM. Just curious. ;-DeanoD
With all apparent development at a standstill for all of there great ROMS from the crew here at XDA, I suspect that there are others like me who are having withdrawal symptoms. Dare I say that XDA further spoils us because we reap the benefits of ROM developments A LOT faster here than we would otherwise get from the OEMS. I still cringe when I see an ad for a "new" android device running VERSION 5! Then they put so much effort into the next new devices.
All I can say or offer is my sincere praise for the people here BEHIND the ROMS. But, can anyone PLEASE offer some glimmer of hope that all is not completely dead with our SMP600 just yet. And, if anyone needs testers, I am ready to run with any of the roughest draft ROMS. This one seemed to start with a great starting point and then just stopped. Any news at all? ;-DeanoD
So far I like the ROM it feels solid. I use my tablet for drawing mostly and I'm finding that palm rejection is not working. The apps that I use are Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and Adobe Photoshop sketch. Anyone else seem to be having this issue?

Yeah, I'm also having the same issue, on stock palm was rejected when the pen was recognized, that doesn't happen here unfortunately. Couldn't get my LeftureNotes app to work no matter what I chose for palm rejection. Otherwise great ROM!

No Mod, No ROM. It's a PATCH which is basically a ROM but it does not include any Device Specific Firmware Files, means Support for all Flagship Snapdragon 64Bit Devices in One ZIP. It Optimizes Your Device without killing Safety Net or any Services like Netflix or Super Mario Run, PokeMon Go and so on.
Dunno about Oreo Support yet. My Axon 7 is still running 7.1.2 but it should work flawless with the next Version of the PATCH. No Warranty so do Backups before flashing it :fingers-crossed:
BTW: The Patch enables all Pixel Exclusive Stock Features on AOSP, and that's what it's meant for. Bringing uber Stock Quality to AOSP. Hope You will like it on the Pixel Devices Folks! Enjoy!
EDIT: I will start the upload of V1.3 in some Hours, it includes the Mgaisk 14.2 Beta as default Option which should enable Support for the Pixel Devices. Fingers crossed for You!

AOSP is the best Base for the Patch. Pure Nexus should be a good Base to gain more than a Pixel like Experience- Unlimited Photo Uploads and Tethering besides instant Apps should be also enabled. I could write Books about what's done. SuperSU isn't longer available since V1.3 but was included with changed Settings in previous Versions. The GApps are debloated as far as possible while providing all extra Services from Google like Keyboards, WebView/Chrome, TTS, Storage Manager and so. Means actually a Light Version of the Super Open GApps. The Threads are getting a update asap. from Me including all latest available Features. I haven't done anything for a while since I'm moved to a new Home and all that. But think I'm proofed since I'm doing my Patch already for Years on XDA

Oh ya I'm not saying I don't trust you, I just wanted to know what I'm putting on my phone before I do. Thanks for your info.
Also, where is the download ? I see the link and go to the site but the releases show last updated in July... Is this out yet?

Glad to hear that
I will redo the Feature Lists this Weekend, hoping for a better Overview. The Homepage gets also some Updates. Let Me know if i missing something important on the Descriptions!
And about the Download: The Release Folder includes always only One File. The File in there is always the latest Patch. The File Names are caused by My automated ZIP Process, and Google Drive handles it by making Copies from older uploaded Versions (Backups). Saves Space and avoids that Users download older Versions. Hope that makes Sense somehow...

not a chance in hell i'd install something like this without looking over the source...

There is nothing included which can't be opened or overviewed. Concerns are misguided here...
Any ROMs/APPs could include more Spyware and Backdoors than My Patch lol

Hey y'all....guess what?!?!?!? This ROM works perfectly on my Sprint sm-n900p Note 3!!! No extra flashing or APN setup necessary!!! I only flashed the ROM then GAPPS (I used open gapps nano fyi) and then supersu.zip. I had LTE, SMS, and MMS service IMMEDIATELY after the boot animation (slightly long on first boot of course since it's setting things up but faster restarts later) was done. As soon as the home screen/google account login screen appeared, I already had full LTE service. No extra APN fiddling needed. It's a true nougat based AOKP build and we have an official builder here. This is awesome news y'all! Show this dude some thanx!
Just an FYI, no need to flash SuperSU.zip. AOKP has su baked in already, unlike lineage. Of course, you can flash SuperSU if you want, I'm just letting y'all know it's not necessary for su.

Yeah, baked in su is one of the reasons I wanted to get AOKP working on hlte. You can bake su into unofficial lineage builds, but you have to set an environment var, and I always forget. AOKP always bakes su in.
Is it possible to replace SuperSU with Magisk? Can't imagine rolling back to the former, given all the perks of the latter. @shane87 Oh, and does the ROM support F2FS?
@kkslider1 this rom doesn't use SuperSU. It has the su binary included in /system and uses Privacy Guard to manage su requests. As far as magisk goes, I don't know if magisk works with su being included in /system. To the best of my knowledge, magisk is a systemless root, with the boot image patched to include su in the ramdisk. As far as it working on a pre-approved image, I'm just not sure.
As far as f2fs, the support is built into the kernel. Beyond that, I'm not positive.

Thanks @shane87 , you are a hero among the N900P community, as we have been stuck on Marshmallow for over 9 months. Would you be willing to reach out to @trader418 and @haggertk to help them implement N900P cellular data support for LineageOS?

Umm, I'm pretty sure that N900P cell data works just fine. @javelinanddart has one in his hand, is a maintainer, is on a Sprint prepaid mvno, and has full cellular connectivity.

@kkslider1 cellular data support for N900P, like @haggertk already mentioned, should be working just fine on lineage. To bring AOKP to N9005/N900P, I literally just had TeamKang fork the cm-14.1 branch of hlte, and changed all lineage references to AOKP, and fixed the dependencies files. I've made no changes to cellular data settings at all
Update
So I have been trying to bring more s-pen support to AOKP Nougat. The s-pen currently works as a stylus, but there is no support for using the stylus to input gestures like you can on stock. Lineage recently merged a few commits to implement stylus gestures into their trees, and I have been trying to cherry-pick those over to AOKP. I've got the changes to CMParts pulled in and merged, and everything still builds. But when I merge the code to actually make the gestures work, it breaks hlte builds. On doing some digging, it appears our framework is missing some commits that lineage has merged. And I'm talking a large number of commits, going back a couple of years. With everyone working on Oreo bring up, I'm just not sure if we can get it straightened out for Nougat. On the plus side, the commits are there for Oreo, so adding stylus gestures for Oreo should be a cinch, once we get Oreo going that is. Again, NO ETAs!!!
Thank you the Rom. I would like to give you a paypal thank you. Is there a link.\?

That is something you would have to ask the devs over at viper4android. That is a 3rd party add-on, and we cannot guarantee support for it. I've personally never messed with viper4android.
