The info given at source (link above) looks quite valid:
- No CM14/AOSP 7.0 ROM availabel for G930P, so it must be official firmware in use here.
- RAM is down, and so are the benchmark scores, so this is a test build, not a fake 6.0 one.
What do you guys think?

It is real, I have the update on my phone. You can get it by resgistering for the beta through the galaxy beta app from the galaxy app store.

I can confirm, for I have it as well. Very nice update. Do NOT let the benchmarks thwart you...it is faster.

I second what @AarSyl said, also, it's benchmark scores aren't that much lower.

I am registered on the beta program. Do I need to do anything else or will the update just load onto the phone. When I go to settings in the app there is no update option to pick

Just wait and keep going into settings, system updates, and keep checking manually for the update, it took mine from last night to early this morning, or about 14 hours.

Do you mean settings on the phone or within the app? . Sorry

I'm testing Nougat right now, officially from Samsung via beta program. I have to say as of right , few hours of using it, it's pretty solid. If anyone has any questions about 7.0, feel free to ask.

Did anyone get the official Nougat update on this model number SM-G930P yet?
I thought beta users get's it first, isn't it true?

I have not gotten the official update yet. Still on the latest beta version.

Ditto. Been a while since we got another beta update. I am still not happy with the battery drain and the phone gets sluggish at times.

Exactly my thoughts, battery drain, memory leaks, apps force closing. I'm so done with this. Waiting for the official update now.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one experiencing the extreme lag after a period of time. It's to the point that I must restart every day for the phone to be useable. My phone gets downright lethargic after a few minutes sometimes if I'm using navigation (doesn't matter which app).
The battery drain is irritating...but jot nearly as bad as the lag.

Hey guys when I go to restore back to a stock firmware (non beta) my s7 doesnt even show up in Odin while in download mode. I have all s7 drivers installed, it.just doesn't show up... help?

Got my Nougat update on Sprint G930P device but it is only 161.21 MB in size. Is it because I'm a beta user and I'd an Beta Version Android N ?

[ODIN][TAR][5.0][LEAK] SM-G900P NKD Test Build - Full Restore (Root Details included)

Disclaimer:
This package is for the Sprint Galaxy S5 (SM-G900P) only. Your device, your responsibility - not ours.
Do not flash this if you do not know what you are doing or have any doubts/concerns about doing something unofficial.
This is a test build so understand YMMV and any use of this is at your own risk without official support available.
Credits:
Anonymous Sources (for providing and verifying the leak's validity)
@Chainfire (CFAR Prep & Testing Coordination - See post #2)
Rwilco12 (Hosting)
Samsung/Sprint (for hopefully not coming after anyone for this leak!)
This is a test build for the Sprint S5. This will not be the OTA release and may have issues.
Nevertheless... it is Lollipop.
I've tested calls, SMS and other functions and they seem to work.
I have not tested all of the sensors and their functions.
I'm also releasing this as a full restore only so it will wipe data.

Steps to Flash:
1) Place phone in download mode.
2) Open Odin (I tested using 3.04 and 3.07)
3) Extract tar.md5 file and select in PDA slot.
4) Start Flash and wait for process to complete. (You will see 2 reboots in the process)
Additional notes and links provided in Post #2.
Root Information & Other Notes
Rooting Information
Thanks to Chainfire's assistance a CF Auto Root package is available for this build.
You can download it by clicking here.
During testing SuperSU did not pick up that it stuck properly initially.
After KNOX started throwing the warnings it finally settled in. So you may need to play with it to get it to work.
This will likely be the case until an official Lollipop build is released so again, you're warned in advance.
Other Notes:
I cannot stress this enough - these sources took a very significant risk in providing this to the public and helping verify it.
And while we're thankful for it, this is the only 5.0 leak I will post prior to an official release.
Let's not get greedy and let's not get these sources in trouble.

@garwynn Any idea on how to deodex Lollipop apk?
Well Sammobile linked you up, so this is going to catch fire pretty quickly in the news as it'll get regurged by Android Central, AP, etc. I hope that doesn't put any pressure on your sources.
Thanks again. Was on ND4 stock, Used odin 3.09 to load this rom. So far so good. Too much white, though. Still testing stuff.
Is there anything of the new Samsung stuff included like theme choser or flow?
theoretically this version should work on international version also... both P &F have the same specs only diference from what is see is GSM bands...
Can someone upload the notocoloremoji font?

You could get all the tools to extract these from the system.img even on Windows. simg2img is available in a jar executable, 7-zip and DiskInternals Linux Reader to open/pull the files.

Sadly no, and word via sources is that Samsung is clamping down security. The attention this will attract will probably only tighten that grip.
My guess is the rom would work but you would have no data, modems are different.

There are some other h/w differences as we learned during CM bringup.
The ROM itself could probably run on other variants but would have dialer and a few other issues.
Someone may find a way to bring it to the other devices. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Has the same bootloader and radio as all the other builds
this is awesome!
i have 2 questions. is it possible to add double tap to wake and long press back to turn screen off to the stock rom. these 2 features are so convenient to use.
thanks
I am on the E bootloader and 95r firmware. If i were to update it would this cause a brick? I am no longer on verizon and E was the best firmware/radio to use (98r). I wanna make sure my system is running up to par with att or is the bootloader the same for all the updates?
@scrosler
Its taking forever to install any System App updates like GMail or Keep for example. All other apps like Whatsapp or Facebook, etc install quickly from the Play Store, been sitting for 30 minutes now trying to get a few apps updated. Playstore gets stuck on installing and after a few minutes it jumps to the next download, which happens quite quickly, but then once again hangs around trying to get the app updated.

That's not how WiFi calling works.
You will see a notifications and its not enabled by default because you need to set an E911 address. Plus, you'll see a notification at the top if it actually worked in this build, which it could possibly but it seems like its not finished yet. This build has Tycho.apk which is also called ProjectFi and requires calling/texting/voicemail/contacts permissions and such. So that's probably at least an early WiFi calling build.

Can you release the "leaked" version? That one is more stable and even has google play store preinstalled. It is even more stable than this official release when it comes to running games and stuff.
Also, would you kindly upload it to somewhere that is not mega. I hate the god damn mother hugging, son of a biscuit website. No support for accelerator support, no nothing. And when I use the browser download mode, it always fails at 580mb or something.
can you zip the img file using ultra commpresion sir??

Thanks. The leaked version is very easy to find. Its quite popular after people found out that the official builds had no google play and were also very unstable. Funny, how an older alpha is better than newer alpha.
Also, can you make screen recording work on it? I just cant make it work no matter how hard I try.
Thanks.

A Small Step-By-Step Instruction:
First save everything important from the phone to the cloud / to the SD card / to the computer. Then check your phone's model & software version. You need to be absolutely sure that your phone's model is LGH870S and your software version is V20o. If your software version is not V20o then you need to install the V20o KDZ first using LGUP.
Go to Download Mode and select H870S20o_00_OPEN_AME_DS_OP_0802.kdz from LGUP. Select Refurbish and start the installation. After completion your phone should be running with the software version V20o! Now you can proceed with installing Android Pie Beta on your phone!
Connect the phone with PC and select MTP (data transfer) Mode then select FOTA Upgrade in LGUP then finally select LGH870SAT-V20o-to-V29a-AME.up and click to start.
Patiently wait for few mins, Voila! Your phone is now running on Android Pie Beta!

I m having h870s please tell me about bugs, response and battery performance.
Will i be able to downgrade if i didnt like it as it is beta version.
Does it wipes data?
If your phone is already running on V20o then it wouldn't wipe your data.

I can't say about bugs right now as I just have installed it yesterday. But so far I'm loving it! The UI has changed a lot, it looks much smarter and better! The battery performance has dramatically improved! Overall I'm thankful to myself that I've updated it to Android Pie! ?
Windows 10 Defender says Uppercut is a trojan.
Edit: Turns out it's normal. You have to disable your av before running uppercut.
Edit2: It works. I'm running pie on my 870s right now. Thank you so much.
Any news when can be a final version of Pie for H870S?
Im using pie one my H870S about 3 weeks its totally better than Oreo ... Smarter faster and more performance im w8ing for final release
How can I downgrade to Oreo if I need to? Also, when stable version of Pie 9.0 becomes available, how can I switch from beta?
EDIT:
I have to enable USB debugging to start flash process. Please add this part to firts post.
After factory reset my Wifi is not working anymore. Don't do factory reset people.
How can I revert back to Oreo?
My wifi is not working like before. It is very slow and it keeps losing connection. How to flash Oreo back?

Idk why u have this problems but after 3 weeks using of pie beta i say that is better than oreo i have not any bug there are small bugs they come from oreo but they are not important and i dont care them i did factory reset and wifi is working now w8ing for final pie version
Thank You
Teşekkürler deneyeceğim :good::iyi:
My Experience after this update
1. Phone is slower but not noticeble to average person.
2. Keyboard buttons has no round corners.
3. Auto rotation some times fail.
4. Little bit battery consumes more than oreo
5. No choice to downgrade otherwise brick
6. No night mode
7. Battery statics are not accurate
8. No imrovement in camera department
9. Gesture based navigation is gimick
10. Boot and restart time are longer than oreo
11. More RAM is occupied than oreo
Overall review is that before final build stay on oreo
Hmm after day or two phone gets much smoother. Also it is much better in terms of temperatures. No more overheating. Battery is not that great, but we will see after few full charging/discharging cicles.
But best thing for me is how Google camera now operates. Hdr plus enhanced was really slow on Oreo and phone was overheating after taking few pictures.
Now even night sight is very fast and no more lag in GCam port (latest version for 8.0+ android). Also there is much less purple tint during night time photos.

[AOSP 10.0] [29-05-2020] Quack Phh-Treble GSI v217 Repack For Snapdragon S20 Devices

Hello everyone!
I have repacked @phhusson 's Quack Phh-Treble GSI to a flashable TAR file that we can flash on the S20 devices.
For more info about Quack Phh-Treble GSI check this thread here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...velopment/aosp-10-0-quack-phh-treble-t3992559
You must have a device with an unlockable bootloader
What doesn't work?
Auto brightness
Fingerprint enrolment works 50% on first boot and randomly works when screen is off
Reports about MTP not working - could be a driver issue
Proximity Sensor
Screen timeout is always 15s
NFC
For a full list of issues, check the official github - https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/issues
What works?
Everything else!
Found something else that doesn't work? Let me know and I'll update the thread.
What do these repacks include
The official release of Quack Phh-Treble GSI with Gapps (system-quack-arm64-ab-gapps.img)
Cross Device Lineage Recovery Flashable - Phh SYSTEM image only!

If you can unlock your device' bootloader and root it, it will work. Otherwise, no
This isn't for snapdragons in the US. Tired of this crap from Samsung and others
i can get gsi to install using dsu but when u press restart it hangs on splash screen a min or two then reboots normally.. so cant even boot gsi without root unfortunately on locked devices

ah. but, I have a weird s20. The model number says it's an S20 Pro (build number is: m_l805_pmz_a6601_welcome_en_yl_128a16_v04 and a CSC of zmu1a0h5 - also note, i'm not sure if that's l805 or 1805 and yl or y1 - dunno). I got the thing on wish (ya, ya...bad idea, i know, but it's too late now). I'm not sure what ROM to get, if any. I'm hoping a friendly guru can help guide me. The phone says i'm using over 100gigs of internal storage, but...i don't have near enough apps to fill up that much. I installed one 26 meg app, yet the phone is claiming it took up 3gigs of space. Whaaaat?
Is there something I'm missing? I mean, cell phones confuse me sure, but (as a programmer) I think I understand the basics and this just baffles me. Will this ROM work on this phone? Can I change the CSC, cuz some things come up with chinese or korean lettering, which, of course, I can't read so that's annoying)

It's definitely a bad clone, Samsung S20 Pro doesn't even exist... I'd ask for a refund.
I'd love to see advancements on this in the future! Now that American models can unlock im sure lots of people would like to try stock Android.
does 120hz work on this?

I'll test if you build it. I haven't built anything in a couple of years so I'm way to rusty to try right now.

Ummmm.....Please install a fake phone checker or something because there is no S20 Pro and 'welcome' is usually used in phones bought of fake stores.
Would you please send me screenshots of the settings app and other UI elements? I would like to tell if you've gotten yourself/your parents have gotten you a fake device.
Sent from my SM-G988B using XDA Labs
