-- reboot recovery to twrp 3.0.2 & make factory reset
-- Install ROM.zip
-- make Wipe Dalvik Cache & Reboot..
-- MIUIv8 bootup will take around 3 - 7 Minutes
-- Please use english language for settings wizard !
-- make your settings in the wizard, and reboot MIUIv8

Is that a mirror link?
Either way, I stumbled upon this post last night (about 30 mins after OP posted this), and I just wanna say I fully support this! The screenshots are so beautiful, and I honestly hope you'll get everything working soon.

Great to hear , i tried since MIUIv8 was out to port it on Z3C ... was long way for me to get it booting
I will write a Guide "How To Port MIUIv8 to SONY devices" because nowhere you can find help for miui porting on sony devices
The Kernel & Ramdisk is very important for porting MIUI, i was hanging very long till i find out which modifications are needed on ramdisk and kernel CMDline with SElinux:
This was the key for me to get all booting Source: https://github.com/MiCode/patchrom_angler/blob/marshmallow/patch_bootimg.sh
OLDCMDLINE=$(cat $TARGET_BOOT_DIR/boot.img-cmdline)
NEWCMDLINE="androidboot.selinux=permissive"
for prop in $OLDCMDLINE
do
echo $prop | grep "androidboot.selinux=" > /dev/null
if [ $? -eq 0 ];then
continue

Good to hear!!!

whether to upgrade in the near future? This ROM is excellent, but it does not work com.android.phone
really I am looking forward to the good news would
sorry for my English

Yes upgrade/update is planned, i am very busy at work for the moment...
Progress MIUIv8 for Z3Compact:
I tried now 3 different sources to port with MIUIv8 patchrom:
*compiled AOSP 6.0.1 with 1.2.2 Vendor blobs for working camera, but still fisheffect .. (thx for tip doriandiaconu ), own compiled because i need deodexed and "old" filesystemformat not "system.dat,etc.."
*compiled CM13 6.0.1 camera working but the pictures & focus are **** ..
*prerooted/deodexed Sony Firmware .291 6.0.1 with perfect Sony Camera -> still my favorite, but must heavy smali changes make.. (it is booting but extremely buggy)
I think i should create stable MIUIv8 with Sony Stock .291 as base. With CM13 and AOSP i have no chance to get a fully working cam/videocam.
I will release/upload as soon as i have finished fixing porting errors.
regards,
chris

MIUI 8 based on stock Sony sounds tempting, I was using MIUI 7 based on KK and I liked it more than stock Sony, so my guess is this would be better as well than stock. Will definitely try it out if you can port it :fingers-crossed:
Regarding AOSP/CM base, it would be perfect to use that as a base, but you should wait for Jerpelea to release new V6 camera blobs, the camera will then be calibrated and suitable for daily use. It was promised and I think it will be released soon, anyway, stock based would do until then.
Thank you for this work, I was waiting for someone to do it

I have same story, iam using still MIUI7 KK from lpws521 bbs.gfan.com, perfect rom.. I thought lpws521 will continue with MIUIv8 but still no progress ..
So i started myself doing patchrom with z3c...
thx for info about jerpelea and new MM camera blobs, sounds great, because CM13 is much easier to port than StockRom for me ! Hope he can release the blobs soon, that i can focus on CM13...
Another Sony MIUIv8 Port is allready working with StockRom ! zhangyang_haha did patchrom for sony Z5 and has fully Sony Camera support, i will try talk to him, maybe he give me some help... i decompiled his rom & ramdisk to check differences, but that help me not on my Stockrom base .291 . I saw he did not change ramdisk (no init.miui.rc added.. BOOTCLASSPATH and SYSTEMSERVERCLASSPATH are also untouched...) he use normal stock kernel&ramdisk without modifications, thats new for me.
My plan is 2 Projects , CM13 base and .291 stock base , will try to do that parallel.. we will se which is better

Well until those blobs get released here we have to satisfy with stock based MIUI
But I'm hoping for a soon release of those blobs, to get away from stock rom, I hate it
That would be a massive job, to keep both updated, but whatever you do, support is here

New blobs (v6) released!

Take focus on 291 Stock base
I have initialized Github repo https://github.com/saosin/Miui8_Patchrom_z3c with 2 branches cm13 & 291stock, if some body want try to build own rom...
Branch 291 i will upload when the rom is stable .
Have created also Wiki for build instructions, i am working still on completion of HowTo... https://github.com/saosin/Miui8_Patchrom_z3c/wiki/HowTo
I will fill the Wiki with everything what i know step by step , hope it will help others on porting Miui to sony device
Will give news when 291 base is working, iam right now building

Hi @dianlujitao ,
I`m going to test your CM build as far as just NFC not working .. I don't use NFC anyway ..
I`ve got just one question. What kind of GAPPS to download for this build .. ARM or ARM64?
Already installed and testing.. Until now:
1. WiFi coverage is very weak .. Even very close to the router signal is not 100% .. over 6-7 meters and its half already (with stock based is full). ..
2. GPS works .. find and fix satellites ..
3. Compass still not working 100%. After every reboot needs complex and long calibration .. Works with some apps like Google Maps .. but don't work with other like GPS Status and Toolbox.. So not fixed properly yet..
4. Heating is not like in previous builds for now .. Its not like B266 javix .. but its kind of optimized ..
5. Mobile Data, WiFi on/of .. seem like is fixed .. There is not sim disconnect for now ..
6. CPU states issue . .still not fixed .. 200-400-533 states are not used ..
7. Sound is not crackling like previous builds .. but its low, recording too. Very very low sound when talking too ..
8. Auto Rotate is working .. Camera can't shoot videos in Portrait ..
The ROM itself is very very fast and fluid .. Cant say anything for now about multitasking .. but seems fine at this moment.. Need time to see battery life too..
In other side .. I don't know is it about my device or GAPPS/ROM itself, but a lot of apps from PlayStore can't be installed (Error 403).
So .. I`m back to B266 Stock for now .. waiting someone else to report when everything is fine .. because I use the device daily, but its not possible with CM12.1 builds for now ..
Thanks for the hard work .. again .. "Keep Walking" .. :fingers-crossed:
Hi. i am testing your rom.
i do confirm the problem about weak wifi.
Camera can't shoot videos in Portrait + it seems that things are distorted...
no possibility to set battery led color or notification led colors?
rom is very fast and fluide, that is good surprise...
actualy compiling with you cherry device tree give that kind of errors related to sensors folder...
http://pastebin.com/MV9VvGM8
but i look in your device tree on github there is no sensors folder... ???
https://github.com/dianlujitao/android_device_huawei_cherry/tree/cm-12.1
i checked and there is a sensors folder in the zip i downloaded from github...

I use prebuilt sensor hal from kitkat, or auto rotation can't work
I'll switch to surdupetru's wifi config to fix the leak wifi signal.
Another important thing I'd like to say,
@surdu_petru is using stock kitkat ril blobs, but data network can't start with them on a dual-sim device, e.g, my c8817d, so I use ril and qmi blobs from rendang, so issue comes. Many people they can't disconnect a call. Althrough rendang's blobs works well on my c8817d, some c8817d users told me they can't disconnect a call, it's very strange.
But some honor 4x users provide solution: Install official lolipop release, then wipe and install cm, the issue above got solved.
So I guess some kinds of baseband aren't compatible with rendang's ril blobs. My c8817d uses a very old baseband from emui2.3.
If anyone use my cm and got the above issue, there are 3 possible solution:
1. For those who have an official lolipop release, install it before install cm.
2. For those who don't, try to flash a old emui2.3 release instead of emui3.0, maybe you're lucky.
3. Use surdu_petru's release, it works well with single-sim devices

I'll switch to surdupetru's wifi config to fix the leak wifi signal.

thank you sir for yours answers. i think that testin surdu petru or your work is quite interesting, and it might help to pick up the best from both of you and your work in the benefit of g620s and others device users...
Come on .. give me some advice
After I installed this ROM, now cant install any other or restore my backup ... TWRP report that the ROM is Installed or Restored sucessfully, but as I said ... when I reboot system .. it brings me back to TWRP .. all the time ..
PS: I found the way to install ROM with DLOAD folder on SD and Stock Recovery .. But I`m still confused what this ROM did ..
bmasgone said:

@dianlujitao would it be ok to make an ORG on github, so we can build roms from there ?
It's kinda a pain to jump from your git to surdus and to check CM and others for possible fixes.

I tried your Rom. Thanks for the wonderful job. As you said, I am also unable to disconnect a call. Please fix the issue. Most of the other things are working fine or adjustable.

Hello, it might be better but how can i know that camera is opening so slowly at first boot with surdu petru device tree, 15 secondes if we don't use your device tree or rom? camera is opening in about 4 or 5 secondes...
we have to concentrate good points from one or the other dev . like first boot from your rom is really faster than surdu cm...( i think because of some defconfig tweaks) boot.img is more little also.....but i think that things will be soon better as newer devs are coming on that device...

Currently I've no idea, it works well on some devices, and can't disconnect a call on others.
If your device have a official lolipop, install it and it gets solved.
If someday I get a common solution I'll let you know

Just nitpicking here, but "AOKP MM 6.0.1 unofficial + nightly + official". You should probably make up your mind Updating the current banner would probably be a good idea since it's from the JB/KK days.

For now no official builds have started unless we get camera working
THANK YOU!
This is amazing! I've been getting fed up with my Xperia Z Ultra though this should hold me out until March when the rumored Xperia Z Ultras will be announced! The second Bluetooth comes online I'll throw this on my device.
I'm happy to have AOKP back online. Do you have any tutorials or suggestions to a Computer Scientist to get into Rom building/helping with the community?

Hello @championswimmer
Is it okay for you and the AOKP team that I can use this ROM as base for my ROM?
My plan it is to give the crowd the update to 6.0.1 from "Sony" by porting the Z5 MM apps to Z Ultra, I need a 6.0.1 as base and this ROM could make it better/best Sony ROM ever, better than Z5 will get and the Z5 won't get that features which we get with AOKP combined with Sony apps
I hope I get the permission

Just tried the latest version from your site, the rom doesn't have WiFi or Mobile working (cannot find sim card nor turn on WiFi).
Installed latest FTF with modem, and tried installing the rom multiple different ways, from different recoveries including the recovery in the kernel for this rom (which I flash prior and after installing). The download is not corrupted either... anything you would suggest I test out?
*Edit: Seems that the Mac Address is incorrect. WiFi gets stuck turning on. Also Asks for Cyanogenmod Features during Setup, I wiped the phone prior to installation but I was on a CM 12 nightly.

I get the same result as you.
Neither wifi, bluetooth or modem is working.
Trying the previous version atleast it had working modem, so this new version is actually a regression over the first version.
How do I replace the recovery? The recovery built in with the ROM can't read the external storage making me unable to use any backups in case of a brick. I've flashed an recovery.img in recoverg and the xzudualrecovery as well and used fastboot to flash a recovery.img aswell. Pls help
Regarding the WiFi/BT MAC address: I can't speak for MM but several CM based LP ROMs suffer from problems caused by a lack of the files under /data/etc where those addresses are stored.
By extracting them from a stock ROM with Root Explorer followed by creation and copying them to the proper folder on the new ROM, both BT and WiFi goes back to full operation.
It is possible that the problem on the MM ROMs are similar in nature.

[ROM] [OFFLINE] [CM12.1] TranchidaPop v1.0 [5.1.1 Lollipop] [7/8/16]

Hello there everyone my full real name is Jon Wesley Tranchida (Tran-chee-da is how my last name sounds), I am a 20 year old Android Geek and Developer by heart and soul and this is my ROM. It is called TranchidaPop because I thought it was a great name because Android is so inspiring to us and it's also named after my last name and this ROM is based on Sultanxda latest CM12.1 ROM from April 10th 2016. This ROM base and kernel is not mine but it belongs to it's rightful owner which is sultanxda. The ROM base and kernel will never be mine. My ROM does have a lot of features, apps, mods , and tweaks and may or will have more features to come. I hope you can enjoy my ROM. I try to do my best for everyone! This ROM does not have root access included so you will have to flash SuperSu seperately and already has all the right google apps and services so there is no need to flash a Gapps package after you flash the ROM. All you do is flash the ROM and SuperSu! I also wish all of you the best of luck, joy, and happiness with my ROM and your daily lives and may God bless you all!

ROM Bugs & Problems:
There shouldn't be any bugs right now in the build but if you find any do report them
ROM Installation Guide:
Please Read Very Important!
Before you flash my ROM make sure you flash the proper Lollipop Firmware and Modem! I will be uploading this flashable zip shortly! This will make sure you have everything working correctly when you flash my ROM!
Follow these steps to install TranchidaPop v1.0 ROM:
1. Download a custom recovery and flash it however you need, I recommend the TWRP v2.8.6.0 recovery. You will then need to download the supersu file if you want root access. Then download the Modem and Firmware file which i will be uploading shortly! Then finally download my latest TranchidaPop v1.0 ROM build.
2. In recovery first backup your current ROM (very important and optional)
3. In recovery mode if you have TWRP just wipe everything but internal storage.
4. Now in your TWRP recovery multi select the zips in the following order which are: Modem/Firmware file, ROM file, SuperSu file! I repeat do not flash any Gapps package! You will have many issues and gapps are already included
5. Let the files install and now proceed to step 6 or reboot device
Now this step is for optional Addons/Mods:
Now once ROM is installed don't reboot your device just yet. If you want to flash any Addons/Mods you can do so right now. Just flash them without wiping. After that is done you can proceed to Step 6.
6. Download my Addon/Mods & future ROM updates if you want.
7. Want to leave positive feedback or suggestions? Please do on this thread or you can PM me!

v1.3:
1. Rebased on sultanxda CM12.1 Build from April 10th 2016
2. Updated Gapps Files in ROM
3. Added Tons more apps and features in the ROM
4. Updated all apps and mods in the ROM as of 4/10/16
5. All bugs and/or problems should be fixed now
6. New boot animation
v1.2:
1. Fixed a major bug where you couldn't use the ROM at all because nfc kept popping up saying it force closed during the CM setup wizard right after the opo booted up for the first time. Now the ROM is usable again thanks to me fixing it completely and rebuilding the ROM all over again. Please refrain from downloading v1.1 as it is unusable unfortunately. Instead download this latest build and you will be golden
2. Decreased ROM size a teeny tiny bit
v1.1:
1. Changed ROM Zip Structure and now it is 3X faster when flashing ROM!
2. Decreased ROM Size a little bit
3. Hopefully fixed bugs as if there were any idk i forgot
4. Updated ROM build date and time
5. Stay tuned for my next ROM which will be based off of the latest Sultanxda marshmellow build
6. Removed SuperSu Root access in the ROM so now you have to flash the v2.46 supersu zip
v1.0:
1. Initial Release
one more just in case, enjoy the ROM guys

I disagree and from now on we are not going to clutter this thread with anything marshmellow related ok people like i can't stand mm right now and i have to hear you all ***** like wheres marshmellow i am getting sick and tired of hearing the word marshmellow when our device hasnt even recieved a stock rom of mm so please just try this rom and give me feedback or else i will close this thread and remove my builds.
Also i am not going to make one either as i don't know how to make it and every time i try to make it the rom bootloops so i am not going to make a mm rom i am fine with my stable lollipop rom which is way better than mm

INSTALLATION GUIDE:
Download here the latest build
Reboot to TWRP
Install the Rom using latest adb v1.0.39 or newer. If you download it directly in your phone, just install it tapping the Install in TWRP and navigating-selecting the rom.
Aroma installer will guide you through. DON'T SELECT THE WRONG DEVICE ~LMAO!!!~
Reboot
First boot can take up to 10 minutes, have patience (it should be closer to 5-10 minutes though)
Wait about 1 or 2 Minutes before you start setting up because it's an odexed Rom that got Deodexed, so it needs a minute to cache.
Profit
ISSUES:
Volume in Settings FC
Admin privillages cannot be removed in Settings (FC again), unless you force reinstall the app.
**Those 2 bugs are not major and are well known, but they are permanent and caused by the deodexing of the Rom.

Dominion Rom v.10
Release Date: 13/06/2017
Release Info:
Removed H815 Latest Bootloader from the installer, so from now on if you choose the wrong device it doesn't matter. Just dirty flash again choosing the correct one !
Removed a few more useless bloat.
Trimmer and debloater are removed from the installer and they are executed automatically on first boot after an update.
Changed kernel to SimpleGX coming from @AndroidGX, because it's very close to stock, because i don't need to maintain a kernel too and because i like it. Tweaking the kernel is a choice. I give you the stock, do what you like with it.
Full re-branch all the aroma installer

****This is the first LG G4 rom for both variants with the same installer so it is considered to be a beta.
Many improvements will come.
*Please be respectfull. We are human beings that do this in our free time.
*Don't just post to criticise. Give this rom a chance and keep it a few days, report
bugs and help us improve it. Ofc we (me for h815 and kevp75 for h811) can improve
this a lot but we cannot do it on our own as we see only bugs that are coming from
our everyday use. We don't have the time to experiment with every little detail. That's
where your support is coming in. With your reports we can make this rom better.

3Minit StatusBar Mods
I like to keep the ROM clean from modding the system because there are bugs sometimes caused from modding that !
So flash 3minit system mods separately.

Niiiiiiice
Sweet mate!
Somehow I'll convert my thread to a Q&A/Support for the H811 version only
Probably link back here too
Awesome.
Away for the weekend still, but monday morning's right around the corner for me
Working on v.10 already because it's gonna be a big update.
- Will be the Last Full OTA from Dominion Rom for G4 (until we have a security patch update or an sdk version update) !
- Choosing the wrong device will not be something irreversible and dangerous. You will be able to fix that by dirty-flashing again.
**Caution:
v.9 now IS dangerous. If you choose the wrong device, you must use kdz to restore or ask kevp75 for bootloader .bin files of H811 to flash them and fix it.
Hello.
Bluetooth is not working. H815 device with V9 and fix.

ive had this issue more times than i can count.
happens to me every 5th flash or so, and it has to do with the partitions not getting formatted correctly... so the modules included with the kernels dont flash correctly.
there is 2 fixes.
either kdz, re-twrp, re-root, re-clean, then reflash
or do the Unorthodox methos from TURBO2012 (search for it)

cruppted = corrupted ? it's not.
Your internet connection was lost while downloading.
Sorry for the bluetooth bug.
After all the ROM is perfect. I discovered that it's the aroma installer bug.
The installer doesn't copy/paste all of the files, only some of them. I don't really know why.
I will change the aroma installer for the next build.
For now this patch will flash an overall fix.
1. Fixes Bluetooth for h815
2. Fixes the missing themer permissions.
3. After flashing it you wont have root. Choose and flash the root method you prefer.

It may not be the installer mate.
Its happenned to me a few times... (among others)
it could be hung permissions during the cleaning process in twrp... yeah... it shows formatted... but maybe not...
It seems that the aroma installers don't like big file paths.
I'm sorry again everyone about this little bluetooth bug in v.9, some files were not installed from the aroma installer.
v.10 tonight will fix those.

Is this your first ROM or first day in XDA ?
languages are automatically changed after setting it up and if you have internet access.
The base is coming from the american h811 and so is the rom, thats why. But all android roms are universal. So it will auto-change. just like mine. I didn't have Greek , but i gave it at least a chance to boot and as you see in the screenshots, its in Greek !
DPI isn't something permanent. 530 is just my chosen dpi.
In screen settings you can increase the font, or if you insist on changing the dpi, use from pc terminal the command:
Code:
adb shell wm density 640
or inside phone's terminal
Code:
wm density 640
EDIT: !!!
I will add this.
If a language is really missing, not from the setup , but afterwards in the UI, please inform me.
I can just change to Europe base. Thats easy !!!

[ROM] LineageOS 15.1 UNOFFICIAL - BETA8 (2018-10-22) - for the XZ1 / Poplar

Developer and XDA member modpunk is working since about a year on his LineageOS 15.x release for the Sony Xperia XZ1 compact (codename Lilac) and shared his work with the community in his thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz1-compact/development/lineageoslilac-t3745215/ in the XZ1 compact area :good: Beside the community with theire feedback, he gets support by the developer derf elot and together they are currently working on a LineageOS 16.x release for the XZ1 compact. So for now the LineageOS 15.x support has stopped to concentrate on the 16.x version.
As a XZ1 (none compact, the big brother, codename Poplar) user, I hoped to get their work running on my device too. And yes, it was possible, so the Lilac releases will be converted to the Poplar in future with a modification! And directly here is a via TWRP flashable zip-file that you can use :victory: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397935770 <-- DOWNLOAD Based on the latest release. Done by derf elot and modpunk.
Keep in mind that you need the latest Sony Oreo firmware flashed before (more instructions and download link in derf elot's comment, newflasherv13 by munjeni is already included in his upload), an unlocked bootloader, TWRP https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz1/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-t3727602/ and do a clean flash
Most users will protably need some Google apps, so pic them from here https://opengapps.org/ For this release you will need ARM64 -> 8.1 -> what ever you like (I am fine with aroma, but to stay as clean as possible choose pico)
Do not reboot between the installation of the OS and the GApps. To get it work, only boot the first time with both things flashed.
To enable full root access flash this LineageOS addon https://mirror.kumi.systems/lineageos/su/20190304/addonsu-15.1-arm64-signed.zip You need than to activate root in the developer settings. I mostly need this to adjust my cpu, gpu and memory with Kernel Adiutor (example in the screenshots) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grarak.kerneladiutor
When modpunks 16.x version will be daily useable, I will open up another thread like this one, to get his next XZ1 compact release also running on our XZ1's.
If you like to do your own build, you can just follow our conversation on this page https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz1-compact/development/lineageoslilac-t3745215/page74 , where derf elot also posted links to Poplar repos on his github.
https://github.com/derfelot/android_vendor_sony_poplar (instead of android_vendor_sony_lilac)
https://github.com/derfelot/android_device_sony_poplar (instead of android_device_sony_lilac)
Screenshots made after a clean installation, without GApps. So the system was as naked as possible. It took about 10,23 GB space. Hope this helps you guys to compare with the stock rom

Hi there,
thanks for opening the thread Just a couple of things to note:
1) This is not a modified lilac ROM of course, rather built from the same shared device trees for xz1c, including device-specific changes/additions for poplar (see sources above)
2) You need to be on the latest _O_ FW to use (that's 47.1.A.16.20). You can find instructions how to update your FW in our xz1c thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75455106&postcount=2 If you don't have it anymore, I have uploaded the fw to AFH: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397914082 If you are on P, it is likely not to even boot (untested). If you are on a different O FW than the latest, the camera likely won't work.
3) Use the TWRP that is linked in the OP here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-xz1/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-t3727602 and not one modified to work with P
4) A full data format is needed before you flash (not just wipe)
5) Please report if something doesn't work. It works fine on my poplar, but it is merely a testing device for me, mainly sitting on the desk 99% of the time so I havent stress-tested it.

Can I have some questions?
First of all, since you said we need to use latest STOCK firmware, does that mean that we cannot enable camera 2 api with this rom?
And also, does this rom support project treble?
Again, thanks for your development!!

yes, only stock camera features are supported, this is not SODP based. We did however include the stock camera app including slomo etc.
as for treble, in theory it should, but haven't tested.
Camera 2 api is supported.
Project Treble is not. (As far as I know by searching modpunks thread.)

not raw however, for example.
Yup, raw not, but it was also not supported in Sonys fw.
COOL, this is what i need for my xz1 !!! Lineage
Will it be in the official lineage download page or just some shady/private builds?

If you think my private builds are shady, feel free to build it from source yourself
There was no easy way to go official for 15.1, but with 16.0 that should be a possibility.
I still wait for feedback of some users of this "shady" build
Riskypedia, what about you?

hi, thanks for your effort.
QNS: since CarbonRom has official poplar builds, is it possible that you could use its device source repo?

They should be practically the same, since the CR repos are based on the lilac/modpunk ones. Anything missing? I just haven't added support for dual sim at this point.

Sorry for the late reply :crying:
So the result of trying was, yeah of course I couldn't use GCAM since CameraAPI2 was disabled, and some GSI roms booted well while others didn't. I think it's device dependent, but this means that kernel and vendor for this rom is treble-prepared. :good:
Rom was stable, but SIM was removed at the time I tested so I cannot sure about the network. I'm planning to try it again later this week!
Aaaaaaaand as always, sorry for my bad english :crying:
Please update some screenshots
And will this rom support Google camera? if it is possible, please test it too. Thanks

Right, it's actually possible that I disabled the overlay that enables api2 in this build. I used to do that because I didn't like the Snap (LOS camera) interface with it enabled Now that I only use the included stock camera though, there is't really a reason for me to keep it disabled.
edit: no, sorry. that's just an overlay for snap itself, shouldn't have any effect on other cameras.
