This is /system/xtra_t_app , if you install gapps with it, it broke google setup wizard, so it need to be flashed after google setup wizard complete.

But what does it do. Because i didn't flashed it at all and have no problem with google wizard?

Hi,
I really appreciate all of you guy's @Tortel, @codeworkx, @cr3pt, @andr68rus, @ffboy2009, @madsurfer1, @CrisBalGreece, @iaureeel (and other grt devs) continuous and hard efforts in making a "great different ROMs" for our device!!!
Just a point that keeps bugging me,
by now we all might have known the best features/sources/tools and other great stuff(like Mokee kernel, stock camera etc...) for our phone...
so i (or may be all of us) think it would be really "EXCITING, AMAZING, and all other great stuff..." to see all you guys work on "one single" BEST EVER ROM for our device to beat may be google's upcoming phone(as this device has the potential)
would not that be simple to maintain and develop as well??
I know it would be close to impossible but the point is we all connected here through one thing which might help us come together and build something more wonderful...
regards,
a broke android enthusiast

OTA works great! Thank you!

Yes, works on x820, x822, x829 (and all other versions of Le Max 2).

For me the best rom.
Erverything works fine and all is included what I need.
SOT is also very good with AKT.
Thank you very much @andr68rus

I use Fusion Battery (lower Battery drain) or Fusion Balanced (faster).

When i install xposed i loose network !!!!

Can we have CDLA toggle option in this ROM like in Stock ROM ?

OTA works, but where does it save the downloaded file!? I can't find it.
Problem: I can't use the reboot and install function, i need Xposed. So would really need the zip file for manual installation.

Wow Finaly!!! Great Camera is now also great!!!! "Thank you

First of all thanks for a good ROM @andr68rus .
Second I have a few problems , the startup app bug is still present ,you have to reboot few times till is loading ok.
The letv camera is not working , I have activated camera 2 API and permission ,now is showing that the camera is used by another application and is closing .
The zip provided for the Qualcomm izat is not working , it's flashing ok but the app is not showing on location settings.
The most annoying bug is the startup bug , maybe you can fix it. Thanks @andr68rus .
Oh and I forget ,where is saving the files the ota updater ?

This is AOKP ROM, you are welcome to test it
In the next 3 days I will be busy, then I continue with this ROM. I think next week we make work VoLTE & WiFi Calling, I have some ideas how to do it (but no time for now).
Omfg. Thanks you very much
Very smooth:good:
waiting for volte fix
I will try that now. RR was brilliant.
Will Xposed work? Is it themeable?
I will try both of it now.
Thank you, @andr68rus
PS. Installed. Tested. Xposed perfect. CM theme engine on board. Flawless performance. Fast like hell. Battery looks good so far (but if course too early to judge).
Weird thing I noticed seems to be a better Wifi reception. Is that even possible? That's nothing a ROM would usually influence?
Very good Rom so smooth..... I miss Auto call Recording
Cool! But I just want to know, is there any different between this and RR? They look very similar.

This is different custom ROM, AOKP Marshmallow has updates and support for now, RR - doesnot - its discontinued from november 2016.
Also it can be dirty flash over RR/LOS

Good job! I'm trying and works fine. Sometimes a little lag with animations, but is not excessive. I'll full charge battery tonight and I'll post about battery.
This ROM has a good personalization, but can you add an option to exchange back button with recents button? I'm used to have back button at the left.
Very good ROM, for me, for now I like it a lot.

Hey, thanks for the new ROM!
I was on your RR ROM and dirty flashed this AOKP over it and am having quite a few issues.
A few apps are missing now. Most notably google play.
Also the front facing camera doesn't work. It doesn't even show it as an option in my camera apps.

I didn't install them again no. But the RR ROM I dirty flashed over had them. And the weird thing is I have some of the Gapps. Just some disappeared. Normally dirty flashing the RR ROMs all my apps stay fine.
Maybe I'll flash back to RR for now. Or clean install this ROM.

Wow it's so great to see a new dev and a new ROM.. I ask two things.. Is there quick charge on/off switcher on your ROM and how's the battery life (SoT and Standby)?
Pls don't do this in EVERY topic... PLS, I would give you money just dont ask this in every lemax2 rom topic. All the Lineage based roms have the exact same battery management and all the AOSP based have the same.
Btw. Will flash rom tomorrow and report back if there's any bug left in the system. Loved the crDroids in the past on other devices.
Nice Nice Rom.
Smooth, quick and a ton of stuff to customize.
Did not find any little fault.
Great Job!

On testing...
For now this is the best Oreo ROM who I have tried...... Very very smooth, no lags, a lot of option....... The best for me, absolutely!!!
My compliment to dev, this ROM is awesome.
Only one thing, advanced reboot doesn't work for me, not change if it's set or not.....not recovery reboot option.....
Does the rom have one hand mode? Does Miracast work with television or chromecast?
One more question: which gapps is preferred? (Stock works?)

When update the ROM, gapps is needed to reinstalling?

After reboots merge LiveDisplay settings
Some minor bugs
1. Display charging info at lock screen: info is a bit inaccurate. {In AEX rom (aosp extended) after 5.3 update the info is very good and accurate}.
2. 3.5mm and USB C adapter only works one way.
Finally im asking for better sound and mic reception (Cleaner and a bit louder) that is all.
Hello. Great Rome, I like it very much. But I have a wish: is it possible to activate the Hall sensor for the pocket detection? Unfortunately it does not work.

Now we're talking! I'm still on 3.8.8 - excited to make the jump once stable. Keep up the great work.
EDIT: First of all, thanks for porting crDroid PIE V5.0 [Android 9.0] to G5 Plus!
Looks promising.
Install worked without problems, booting up and first conf as well.
What i missed was a setting for seeing mobile network status in the navbar and the cam app crashed.
Another thing i couldnt find was the inbuilt root. As far as i can see the inbuilt root is not working.

Was using previous build for a couple days, everything running very well except safetynet didn't pass in Magisk (but had root & modules worked fine). Yesterday was surprised to get an update notification, downloaded and dirty flashed in TWRP only wiping cache/dalvik at the end before reboot, after reboot all was fine and now Magisk passes safetynet. ROM has most of the crDroid Settings working including built-in Adaway with 15 host sources, it's a nice 9.0 ROM and would recommend to others.

I think this may motivate another "piece of Pie" for me. I have tried several flavors but fall back to the comfort of Oreo due to issues and missing features. I did try the last build of crDroid but was not getting Magisk, at all. I learned, later that a few reboots would have remedied that...
*** I am in ***
Looks very good and stable, thus far. One thing that I thought was there in earlier build (probably wrong) was the grid view of recents. Not a big deal but much preferred over the rotating tiles. Great work!
*** A few more notes ***
BT headset (Skull Candy) not working with phone audio. Media is working fine.
BT phone in MB working
V2T option not available with GBoard
Rebooting to recovery option not working - boots back into system
That build is amazing, runs smooth af.. Use GCam or Moto Cam as alternative of the included one!
Encryption doesn't work cause after the first boot I can't enter the pin code, it's just showing the patern lockscreen.

Instructions
At least MarshMallow bootloader is required or you will not be able to boot the rom !Latest stock firmware is recommended before installing this rom, even if it might work with older versions !You have to reboot one time after first boot to make mobile data work.
Use the TWRP from the download-link for your device above (needs to be flashed from existing TWRP, or use ODIN version)
Download the latest build
Put it on your device
Reboot to TWRP
Take a full backup
If you want to be sure wipe the device
Flash the latest build
Clean Cache and Dalvik if you want
Reboot and enjoy
Others
Easily rootable with the great Magisk (stable) by @topjohnwu.I use it as daily driver without major issues, except mobile data (see above).I use microG as google replacement and for push-services, signature-spoofing is already build into the rom but need to be enabled in "Settings -> DerpQuest -> More" and granted in microG-Settings or "Settings -> Apps & notifications -> Permission manager".

Note from 2020-07-25:
This is quoted from my (abandoned) Bootleggers thread.
I did not (yet) test dualsim on my j5xnlte.
I will do it this evening/night (UTC+2), I'm on-call this weekend and can therefore not test it during the day.
This works for me on my test j5xnlte:
It doesn't matter which sim is your data-sim.
Before setting your data sim to 3g or 4g (aka LTE):
make sure to set 2g as preferred network on the sim you do not use for data.
The data sim can then be set to whatever you want.
Never ever try to change the sim after you started a call, if you do so you most likely have to restart the device to make things work again.
Before restarting the device you can try to set both sims to 2g and switch the data sims twice (easiest way with the QS-tile)

mighty cool - danke Jens
Thank you so much Jens for all you do to keep this device alive /
I have tested this ROM and il like the look of it because it is almost pixel skin, but i'm wondering why the blissROM is faster then any other Q ROM for this device?
@abdogeni - do you mean BlissROM boots to your home screen faster, or it's faster running and working with apps, or both? If one or more app(s) lag for you in this DerpFest ROM, which one(s)?
@RootedLee - ok, it's faster running apps and in transition and more responsive, at first I thought it's the window and transition animation but it isn't, I can't explain the difference but the only name that's cames in my head is the speed. It's like you use a 90Hz screen or something.
Sir @jenslody why are you so silent?
Is everything alright?

Nothing to say, no new updates at the moment.
Besides this, no still struggling with private stuff, so far from being alright, unfortunately.

My absolute favorite ROM on so many of my past devices. Axon 7 was the last one before this phone. Thank you so much for bringing this to the X3. ?
Every time I think I get settled on a rom another exciting one is released. Thanks for sharing!
I will follow this thread and decide if it is worth going through the switch and set up process yet again lol

Nicely done, buddy.....but I think many of those features are for Android 10 version of the ROM.....it will be great to be for Android 11 one, but I don't think it's the case....yet....right?

I use nikgapps and recovery say Error 1 and I use Opengapps pico and recovery say Error 20.. I can not install the Gapps..
For anyone curious here's my quick look over the ROM.
I had surya on latest global 12.0.3. I've used the OpenGapps nano.
The installation went quick and smooth. I haven't restored my google account so everything was fresh. During the setup screen was tearing sometimes.
Fingerprint works very well and unlocks are quick. Haptic feedback is ok. Double tap to wake works ok. There is 17.5GB used after the first boot. Selinux is disabled. There are some quick settings tiles to choose from.
In battery settings there are thermal profiles. Neat!

There are color profiles to choose (+ live display on another screen).

There is refresh rate selection.

And a Gcam one:

Power menu customization missing. "Dirac sound enhancer" present in Sound system settings menu doesn't open. No call recording ootb.
Check out the rest on a few more screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/5c9fkNP
Overall feels very solid.
Oh, Google Maps keep crashing: https://i.imgur.com/3zSxSIg.png
I use nikgapp A11 n opengapp beta A11 work,what your device?
---------- Post added at 11:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:10 PM ----------

SElinux disabled......not so good news.... for me, at least. Smart battery is in Settings? I'll like to set a max 85% for battery charging and stop worry about charging battery too much
When will official build of CrDroid will be out of any?
Idk bro ,i hope official
@marinespl Does it use Lawnchair2 as default launcher like on Android 9? It's my favorite launcher %& I think that Lawnchair2 does not officially support Android 11.

It's crDroid Home (com.android.launcher3). Doesn't look like based on Lawnchair.
For some user facing error like when flash gapps ,magisk or etc ..you can try to disable mount vendor before flashing in twrp
Coz t
@agustk404 Headphone not working when plugged in ,sound coming from speaker even when jack is inserted
Edit: it happens after installing viper4andriod
Does this use the kernel sources provided by Xiaomi for our device?
