I got the oneplus red tpu - OnePlus 5 Accessories

I originally bought the Karbon, black tpu & ebony wood & I liked them alot so I was kicking my self that I didn't order the red one, so I ordered one & a otg cable. I'm glad I decided to buy the red one cause its the only case that's sold out.

Can you please show the front, too?

You literally just showed the back

I also got the same case it arrived today. Here is view of every corner.
Pros:
Not thick
Nice weight to it
Good grip.
Color is amazing with black.
Good quality.
Cons:
Doesn't protect the front very good.
The lip is very small.

I've just posted a video with this the Silicone case in it, I also do a screen test with it and the Otterbox!

Best 20 bucks spent.

I have the black TPU case,
A couple of things i don't like:
- Extreme dust magnet.
- The lid on the lower part of the phone is to small, probably because of the lower part cutout. this makes it more vulnerable when it drops.
But overall the grip is great and the does not make the phone to bulky at all

I would like a dark blue one myself! I feel right is way to bright for me

It's definetley hard, and it's definetley a premium feeling case. I've had to stop using mine though as it just collects so much crap, I end up wiping it down every five minutes! and because of that the Red has started to fade.

I had my Red TPU since launch and have not had an issue. I haven't had the problem with it collecting dust/lint or anything. It got a bit printy while I was eating wings and on my phone, so I won't do that anymore. ...jk. It will get the occasional oily print, but that's it. I much prefer it because of the fabric backing. You always have that issue of stuff getting behind the case and scratching it up. I feel the backing will help a lot.

Another low price case from eBay

Just received this one today. Buttons are nice and quite responsive. Good fit. Slim (ish) but offers a good amount of raised bezel to protect the screen. Very good looking (IMO) case. I've used the Ringke Max and Spigen slim armor and I prefer this one by far. Great price too!

Slickwraps Natural Install

Well, got a surprise from the post office as they delivered my skins today! Just installed the Distressed tan skin and wow, I now have the sexiest N6 ever! Thanks so much @slickwraps! I did take the stock plastic cover off and I am using a old skin as a base layer below the leather skin. Sits flush with the phone now and looks like it was made to be there. The leather is top quality, smells great and is super grippy, way grippier than the carbon fiber skin I had. Because this ****s flush, you can use any case you want. I am using the Ringke Slim fit for when I'm at work. Enjoy the pics.

Yes, you can probably tell from the black around the trim that this started as a blue N6. Just sanded away.
Looks good.
This is soo cool, well done! Also, the metal part is awesome! I am still waiting for my leather to arrive from slick wraps. As you have stated in your post, you have put the leather on top of your old skin, was it due to a thin leather? Or what was the reason?

Thanks!
First reason was because I wanted a buffer in between to cover the holes(pattern)so the leather wouldn't show these "dips", just a smooth leather back. I also wanted protection for the ribbon cable for the side buttons that runs back there, I didn't know how ofter I would be swapping skins and I didn't want it pulling up on that ribbon when I took it off.
I also have the Bamboo back and a extra middle housing and I can tell you that the bamboo won't work as is. It's maybe .2 inches too wide so it bows in the middle. Not a huge problem since it's Natural wood and can be sanded very easily(carefully)to fit. This is what I'm going to do. Just take about .1 inches off both sides and it should be Golden.
Awasome!
Regarding the sanding of the metal part, how hard was it to sand the buttons? I have a white version of nexus, but now seeing how brushed/polished metal frame looks makes me think of doing same ?!

I left the buttons just natural aluminum. My hand was sore from polishing the frame so I gave up lol!
I just did the same thing with mine. I was ****ting bricks while removing the back plate in fear of damaging the ribbon cable, but damn was it worth it.

Puregear Screen Protector - Fits like a glove

First time for me to use a screen protector. I've used the factory ones on my previous OP devices (6T, 6, 5T, 3). The 6T screen protector appears to be utter crap. After one month of normal usage it not only developed a few small bubbles but also a nice tear in it right over the keyboard making it a downright nuance to use. I could deal with the bubbles but the tear in it was the catalyst to get rid of it. Iit was like a zit and was rough to run your finger over while using keyboard. No bueno.
So I dug around a few threads didn't see much success. Poor fitment. Poor seller. Rainbow effects. etc. etc. etc.
Decided to make a trip to my local T-Mobile store. Bought the Puregear unit they had in stock. It's a bit pricey $39.99+tax but fits like a glove. Screen looks nice. The stock case fits over it without anything obvious protruding.
Other than cost cannot complain. Weird it's not listed on Puregear's website...
EDIT: Edited as I got a second camera to take the photos of it on the OnePlus 6T.
So is it slightly wider than the screen? Cause it looks very similar to the Nillkin which is only 10 bucks.
I think it lines up well with the screen. For some reason the last photo I put up isn't showing so I"ll throw it here.
Upon further inspection, there may be a faint rainbow effect actually on the edges.

The top and bottom of the Nillkin are perfect it's just the sides that are not forgiving it skewed to one side. If you align it as close to perfect you will be happy with it.

You win some you lose some. Opted to pay for easy return and easy testing. I use the phone enough that I didn't want to wait thanks to the stock one getting messed up badly.
Now, I need to find one for the OnePlus 6 (not the 6T). My wife wants one for her device. Any recommendations on that front?

Don't have a 6 but Nillkin I think makes one for the 6 too.
By the way if you are happy with yours that's all that matters. I was real close on buying the Puregear. If the Nillkin did not work out I would of bought it too.
I went with the official op6t tempered glass protector. Works great perfect fit.

Thanks a lot it seems like the best choice after the PureGear one
I just picked up a Puregrear today and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. The install was fine and adheres smoothly without any bubbles. But it's slightly too narrow. It fits well on the top and bottom but on both sides there is a sliver of visible screen that is not covered by the glass. It's not all that noticeable if looking directly dead on, but if the phone is even slightly angled you see thick line across the screen and it's a little annoying.

I also just applied a Puregear and have a small strip on the right side of the screen that isn't covered, but on the left side it lined up. I had also ordered and returned the XtremeGuard TGSP because it didn't cover the entire screen, and the Puregear does significantly better despite not quite covering everything.
Overall, I really like the look and feel of the glass compared the preapplied protector, and I don't notice the uncovered part unless I look for it. I'll keep it for now, but if I needed a new protector I'd probably try the official OP glass or whatever else is performing well for other folks here.
FWIW, I was able to use a coupon code to get a $10 discount when I ordered it from their website, so at least I didn't pay full price.

Any good transparent black tpu case as the original but also protecting the camera?

I like the case that comes with the phone, but as you know it doesn't protect upper front side and rear cameras. I've purchached a similar one

but its side faces don't fully fit, it's not mine's fault, there are some reviews saying the same
Any other case like that? I've tried a transparent one and is ok, but I'd rather a transparent black one. So few cases for this phone...
Nillkin Nature Series TPU case has a transparent/gray version, which has a slightly raised edge around the camera, protecting it nicely when you put down your phone on flat surfaces. Overall, it's a great buy, as usual with this brand. Check it out, maybe it suits you.

Anyone using a Mous Clarity Case?

Hey guys, I ordered a Mous Clarity case for my S20 Ultra today cause I wanted a clear case with a black border. Since the Spigen Ultra Hybrid I got, the black border is too thick that covers a bit of the back too plus I realized I didn't want a black camera frame too.
Would you mind showing me the case on your phone?
How's the camera protection?
Thank you!!

They're the same sort of texture as the back PC clear section, you get grip due to it being very smooth. Both the back and the sides are sadly fingerprint magnets.

Great minds and all that, I already have it! If I could get the back from that case on the Mous for me that would be perfect. I wish there was a more rugged version of the Tingle, because I love the added protection of the rails of the Mous case but not how much of a fingerprint magnet it is.
Because I'm a nutter I've ordered a matte screen protector for an iPad, going to try cut it out and stick it to the back of the Mous case to see if I can keep it clear but give it that more matte texture.
