It has several bugs with SELinux Enforcing mode, completely breaks SafetyNet and gets your device completely marked as 'rooted' at GP.

Really?? But in SELinux Enforcing Mode, the device is supposed to be safe :S ... And yes, Google Play Store marks my device as rooted, but Bro, as the Magisk Forum says: It's the eternal fight. Two days ago, Google patched the SafetyNet and Magisk doesn't work, but yesterday the developer released a new version (v13.3) but bro :S One day Google will win and SafetyNet will be invincible :S
Also, I think that SuperSU is older, so it has more experience and it's robust (at least it has a PIN Security, Magisk does not have it)

can i flash over RR 5.8.3 latest???

I think SuperSU is more secure

I always ask now only because of my love for MicroG, and Tingle doesn't like to work on macOS, does it have signature spoofing at all? I'm on Tipsy still so not sure if I'll hop over just yet regardless
Edit*
Signature spoofing is there, in case anyone is wondering. Finally hopped over to it, love it ^.^

Post the rom? Or root? Jejeje

SafetyNet will be invincible? As if... no piece of code is invulnerable. It's just a matter of time before someone, topjohnwu in this case, figures it all out.
Also, "this program is older therefore it's more experienced" makes 0 to no sense, it's a computer program, not a person. I will admit it's more compatible though, plus it's the only root solution that actually works well with Chainfire's own apps...
Again also, as @facuarmo has previously mentioned, it breaks stuff on newer ROMs.
Whether it's more secure or not is up to someone with the know-how to find out.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

Guess it depends how you define "stock"
Seems to me that more and more phones support voice control functions, the Moto X just has a separate chip for it that apparently none of these ROMs use (which is something of a battery drain).

AOSP will never see the same level of voice control as Motorola's stock firmware. The drivers for the X8 chipset are proprietary and so is anything related to Motorola's Active Display.
This ROM is not pre rooted which can be rooted flashing SuperSu zip (https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip) with twrp/philz recovery.
I have an issue here. Tried connecting to wifi. Saves wifi access point but could not connect. Authentication failure. I did fresh flash.
Going back to Mokee.
Thanks for the efforts.

Managed to connect wifi. Using this ROM for the third day and could enjoy its smoothness. Installed Xposed and gravity module to customise the way I like. One big difference I have seen is that Google camera never freezes and works flawlessly. With other 5.1.x custom ROMs Google camera use to freeze after every few snaps. Thanks for your efforts OP.

That's the one I got. I think the problem is with Amplify (can't bypass the xposed check screen).
encryption doesn't work
Had CM12.1 installed. Flashed the 4.4.4 developer edition rom from Motorola then installed the latest official TWRP and installed this.
Same as with CM12.1 encryption doesn't finish after several hours (/data was wiped before install). Rebooting during encryption doesn't lose any data like should happen if it were actually encrypting. I don't know how to go about collecting logs or other information to diagnose this.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
The following ROM is a minor modification to the already existing LineageOS weeklies but with added Substratum (OMS) support, better device optimizations and lastly more tweaks without compromising performance and stability.
What's working : Everything
Known issues: You tell
Instructions :
Download latest TWRP
Download the latest build
Download latest GApps
Reboot to recovery
Flash the latest build and GApps
Flash latest Magisk

Are the apt-x libraries includes with 14.1?
Interesting... mind informing us of what the extra tweaks are?
I like the thought of OMS and Nougat ROM updates...
Uhh nice, I will test the rom, will you update the rom weekly? monthly? or just this version?, thanks for the new rom

You, sir, have just made my day.
Edit: Perhaps this could be dirty flashed over boype's latest Lineage 14.1 build?
Awesome ROM man!!! Only issue I've found isn't ROM related but API module fails to install. Not a big deal though, snap is good enough for me ??

Try it from TWRP. It worked for me. Didn't work from Magisk Manager.

What version of magisk are you using? Getting magisk not installed in twrp using the latest magisk manager and v16.0

Yep you are right, seem to be having a bit of a conflict with magisk. Sometimes it takes sometimes it doesn't. Since moved on to using the newest Moto Camera: v4.0 (6.2.5.12) from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/themes/pixel-gapps-rom-t3746456 and it works great including save to SD. Even though the dev has it listed under Oreo and the zip shows 32 bit or 64bit. Had one soft error when switching to SD card from phone memory but after that it's worked with no issue other than the typical 60fps bug that affects all custom ROMs.

That navbar style is optional, right?
Or a standard part of the build?

Yeah mine is themed, default is regular AOSP style
No LTE 4G on Verizon
I started from scratch, flashed stock, upgraded, flashed the 14.1-20180430 and was pleasantly surprised that: Verizon works (Limited to 3G) and Safetynet passes without all the fuss. I don't even need Magisk to run Poke Mon - VERY NICE!!!
I'm sure this was covered before... I guess I don't fully understand why we can not use 4G LTE on CDMA. Is this even a possibility?
Also, Keyboard is crashing when trying to enter the keyboard preferences. I Googled the problem and it turns out many are having it. Have not found a way to resolve this yet. Ideas?

Thanks, looks good so far. :good:
Is there a changelog available for the new build?
I noticed it's still on April's Android security patch level.

Just selinux as permissive
great!! i'm going to try this in the next few days
does this support signature spoofing for microG?
does this need some specific SW binaries/ODM installation or does this work with stock ODM image?
thanks for your work

thanks,
just flashed it today, it seems to work fine.
but then i enabled encryption and... now the device is bootlooping.
"trust" app reported SELinux as "disabled" instead of "permissive".

Thanks for report, we'll check it. Disabled = permissive, kinda no difference.
I'm excited that msm8956 is still being maintained, even Lineage 18.1 is on road, I still hold my Xperia X Compact. Thank you so much.
Hello, I tried downloading the rom but it seems like the .zip was deleted, can you reupload it? TIA.
New version is up with Enforcing SELinux and working Encryption!!!

Hello,
Was deleted as we are going to push them to AFH, that's why.
Thanks

Finally, what I've been waiting for, can't wait to flash the rom. But can you please tell me if it drains battery on idle like it does on stock nougat and oreo? I'm gonna try it anyway but I'm just curious that's all, thanks!
Also which GApps would you prefer for better performance? mini, micro, nano or pico?

Hey
Good to hear that you are enjoying it.
You won't be able to use GCam on our builds as oreo stock camera blobs uses HAL1, and GCam uses HAL3
Thanks
Regards Jose
Sorry if it's a stupid question but is there any way to get the stock sony camera on this rom as I can't use the GCam.
