DeYuS kernel configuration
ONLY FOR SUPERSU USER ON SYSTEMLESS ROOT
After kernel flash you'll see a /data/deyus.conf and a /sdcard/android/deyus.log
DeYuS.conf the file that is needed to set some values on boot. Every values can be changed if you know what you're doing.
INSTRUCTIONS
This is simple
Values are "SOMETHING=anything" change "anything" to the one you want.
So GOV=darkness change it to GOV=yankactive
reboot or type /sbin/DeYuS on a terminal and see if it is what you want
some explanations are already in the conf file
ALWAYS KEEP THE ORIGINAL CONF FILE because if anything go wrong you'll just have to use twrp to restore the stock file
a kernel flash won't erase the conf file exept if new features are added on a kernel side

No, I am puzzled myself why this is happening. I flash rom and gapps, then I flash the kernal and then reboot. That is the correct method right? I checked that I had the right files downloaded and that it was not corrupted. This is really weird.
Anybody else report any problems?

I tried the latest Android N beta, so my bootloader is 71.21, when I went back to MM I never bothered to change my Bootloader because I didn't have any problems. Do you think that this is the main cause of the issues? Should I downgrade bootloader?

Ahah i knew it. The other guy on g+ also have latest bootloader. I'm not sure but it can cause problem
DO NOT DOWNGRADE. I don't know what would happen
If you really want to try it. Do it but make sure that you can and have abilities to recover the device from a hardbrick
At this moment i don't know how to fix that. I'm sorry but i gonna take some time for me to fix this unless you have an idea

How to post bugs
As you know, this is a kernel, so logcat is useless. We use "dmesg" to track what the kernel do and how it's done, what it's fault...
If you post logcat to a kernel dev, no helps. So now, a single rule: No logcats
To post bugs, please do this:
1. Make sure you have a computer running any Linux distros (e.g Ubuntu) (ignore this if you already have)
2. Plug your phone with USB cable plugged to computer
3. Open Terminal, type these (DO NOT MISS ANYTHING)

The "tee" command will export your "dmesg" (driver messages) to your /home/<USER> folder (e.g from mine: /home/a1/dmesg.txt)

You have to experience yourself. Asking people just getting answers depends on their opinions
Cpu governor and i/o scheduler for battery improvement? I used interactive for governor and deadline for scheduler.

I present to you a kernel that I have been working on to give us J7 owners a better experience, which I have named Afterburner.
Before I begin, this will void your warranty, as with any other ROMs/kernels/etc. I will NOT be held responsible for anything that goes wrong from flashing this kernel such as your phone breaking or catching fire/ etc etc.
Anyways, this is ONLY FOR J7 2015 devices!!!!!!!!
Installation
Download to your sdcard or external sd card then reboot to recovery.
Go to "Install" in TWRP and then browse to the location you downloaded it to. Once there, click on the zip file you downloaded and swipe to flash (v1.0 only)--To make the permissive, download the afterburner-permissive.zip file and flash AFTER flashing any of the afterburner kernels. You should only have to flash it once--(v1.0 only - end). (Aroma versions) You will be greeted with a screen that tells you the kernel version and date, touch Next. Now you will come to the install options. Select the options you wish to install. VERY IMPORTANT: YOUR DEVICE WILL BE UNROOTED IF YOU UNCHECK THE ROOT OPTION!! ALSO, IF YOU HAVE A J700H MODEL PHONE (3G version) THEN SELECT THE J700H OPTION, OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE BUGS!! Select Install, then set back and wait. Once it's done select next. Finally, if you want to return to TWRP(Recovery) then uncheck the reboot option and touch Finish, otherwise just touch Finish to reboot. Your device will bootloop once or so then will boot. The first boot after installation will take a while. Enjoy!!!!!

-Added kernel hotplug support. This will allow for the install of externel kernel drivers in the system/lib/modules folder. I haven't added any, but it should work, this might be used for future development.
-DM-verity removed. Supersu disables this anyways when it installs
-Other config optimizations
-Last, but definitely not least......OVERCLOCKED to 1.7GHz!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy.

I dont think d supported variants are galaxy j7 and if they are not den why has it been posted toh j7 roms and kernels? So me not having so much idea about the different j7 variants and models i thought getting it clarified

5. Go to the "Developer Options" menu, activate the "Factory Disassembly" and "USB Debugging" items (Settings> Developer Options)
