Audio stuttering using variable playback speed apps. - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Just updated to V9.2.4.0.MHOMIEK, now there's audio stuttering using variable playback speed apps. i.e. podcast apps (pocketcasts) or audiobook (audible) apps stutter noticeably when playback speed is over 1.5x. Higher playback speed, more stutter. Should work to 3x without problem. Affects sound output on sound hardware (internal speaker, 3.5mm, bluetooth). Turning off battery optimization of these apps, MIUI optimization, Ram management doesn't affect anything. I remember experience this on Nexus 5 / 6.0 and fixed it by switching media codec in Developer options, but no idea what to do for MIUI. Anyone have ideas?

[Q] Audio/Video Sync on camcorder when running kernel with voodoo sound

Hello,
I'm currently running on Trigger 2.1.1 with a kernel with voodoo sound support and I am having an intermittent audio/video sync issue when recording in HD (not sure with resolutions below HD as I only record in HD )
This issue only happens when I have hi-fi record oversampling checked/ticked. Turning it off brings the audio/video sync to normal level.
Any of you guys having this issue as well? And does ticking hi-fi record make a real good improvement compared to when it's not ticked?
Thanks.

Sound quality/equalizer

Hey all, just been playing with the equalizer settings with various apps (mostly Spotify and the in-built Samsung music player) and can't see that the 14khz setting are modifying the sound at all ? And fiddling with the 60Hz option just makes the sound thinner if anything. This occurs with all the wired headphones I try.
My Nexus 4 doesn't have this problem - 14kHz increases high treble, 60Hz add bass as you'd expect.
Anyone else have this ? Is this common to all Mega's, a problem with just mine ?
Bass boost not working
I also have this problem on the Mega. I can't get Bass Boost or Equalizer working in Pandora. I have tried a number of Bass Boost programs that work on other phones but don't seem to work on the Mega. Any ideas anyone?

[Q] 'surround sound' option enhancing sound beyond laptop audio quality, how?

Hey there,
I've been playing around with the equalizer settings on my Nexus 7 and noticed that the 'surround sound' option boosts the clarity and detail of the sound above integrated laptop audio quality. I haven't been able to Google a lot about that option, located in the Google Play Music equalizer, but it greatly enhances my audio experience with my Sennheiser HD598 headphones.
I found the same kind of option on my laptop's equalizer (Dolby Advanced Audio) but that option barely enhances anything at all.
Is my tablet's sound card seriously better than my laptop's? (software wise that is)
ps: I'm not complaining, just curious what the option actually does with the sound. If I turn it off, the sound gets more 'flat' again and isn't
as good as my laptop's audio.

[Q] Bluetooth Choppy Music

Hi guys,
I am new to this site. Basically I am working as a Infotainment system tester over Bluetooth profile. I am encountering lots of choppy music while Bluetooth music streaming on infotainment systems via android devices. While taking Bluetooth traces via Frontline BPA 600 sniffer, I am able to get A2DP profile with SBC frames where Bitpool is 35 and Bit rate is 327 for all the frames however just CRC changes with its after check values. Can you please suggest me where exactly the problem can lie, i mean like what parameters can be changed, Bitrate, or Bit pool or buffer, while decoding the music packets?

Bluetooth Sound Quality with BQ X2 Pro

Hi there,
I am very confused and frustrated with the bluetooth audio output quality and BQ Aquaris X2 Pro. Specially with my car, that is a little bit old, and may the car's bluetooth is not great profile. Working with some headpones works pretty oka.
But I discovered and awesome strange issue. To play my music I use YoutubeMusic (previusly Google Music). Streaming configuration is high, and the music by bluetooth in my car sucks!
So playing with Android Auto I discovered this paranormal activity:
1 - Playing music with just YoutubeMusic. Sound sucks as usual
2 - Now, while playing music I start Android Auto.
3 - While opening the app, during just few seconds, the audio quality changes. It is HUGEEEE CHANGE, the music quality is awesome. It is not volume is much more better quality.
4 - The app is launched and the music turns back to very poor quality. Now I can see youtubemusic but in Android AUto.
5 - Exit Android Auto app, while the app is closing, the music turns again awesome quality.
6 - The app closes, going to Android Home screen and the music sucks again
whaaaaaaaaat??
I have tried also to change developers blutooth options. Nothing seems to happen. When restart mobile options go back to default.
I have tried some equalizer apps.. it does not seems to affect to the sound. Neither boosters or similar.
what a misterious,eh?
