Wireless adapter connectivity problem - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

Smart View connects then drops my Microsoft wireless adapter, my old Push 2 TV works fine. Is anyone else having this issue?

My s9+ will sometimes connect to my Microsoft wireless adapter, then other times refuse to connect after multiple attempts. Ni problem with the same setup with my s7+. I can't seem to work out how to make this repeatable. Rebooting the wireless adapter sometimes helps, trying many times again and again to connect will sometimes fix it. Once connected it stays connected however. But I repeat that my s7+ had no problems at all.

One won't connect to WPA and shuts down computer

Now on my 3rd HTC One and all have same issue. It will not connect to my router. The router is an old linksys 54 mbps. Spent hours with t'mobile and htc. Everyone says it has to be the router but I suspect the One has software issues they aren't admitting or are aware of.
The One is the only device that will not connect to the router. iphone 5, galaxy s4, laptops, apple tv, wii, etc all do just fine. Yes I tried disconnecting all devices changing password and still no connection.
The One will connect when I completely remove the security. WPA back on One's connection back off.
When I try to connect it goes through Authenticating, Obtaining IP again and again and eventually gives "network avoided due to poor internet connection"
I also got this 2 times when trying to connect to the secured wireless at the local coffee shop but 3rd time it connected.
On another note..On three separate occasions I have plugged the phone into my laptop to charge and when I come back after a while my computer has "improperly shut down".
I love the phone otherwise and wish I could use it.
Thanks for any help

Very strange WIFI problem

I have a Galaxy S2 I9100 which I'm using as a media center at the moment. The problem I have is that my WIFI speed more than halfs when I connect the MHL adapter which I need to connect the phone to my TV. The signal doesn't change at all, I use WIFI analyzer and it shows the signal is unchanged whether MHL is connected or not. But a speed test shows a slower more inconsistent download the moment the "HDMI connected" notification appears.
Without MHL connected my test shows 4Mbps and goes through the test consistently with no hitches and all, my videos/streams play perfectly. As soon as I connect MHL the speed test goes to 1.5 at best and also stops and starts during the test. My videos/streams take longer to start and often freeze. I even tried starting a test, it was running fine at 4Mbps as usual, then connecting MHL during the test and as soon as that "HDMI connected" notification appears the test drops down towards 1Mbps and stalls repeatedly. Its really quite bizarre.
I'm using an official HDMI adapter, my wireless security is set to 2.4Ghz B/G and I've tried numerous channels all with no change. I have security on WEP, because at first I thought WPA2 was causing the problem, but I also tried no security again with no change. No doubt its not a WIFI signal problem though as WIFI Analyzer has since shown me.
My current ROM is Optimus 4.0 XWLSW. I decided on this because unlike a lot of other ROMs it supports MHL TV out. So if anyone has any suggestions on another good MHL compatible ROM to try please let me know. Any other suggestions welcome, cheers.
Having the same issue with a Galaxy Nexus using a Samsung MHL device. Haven't found any solutions but I am seeing the same issues as you in terms of speed.

Keep Android and 3G Dongle always ON

Hello guys I'm looking for a way to leave the 3G modem always on, even when the car is turned off.
any way to do this only in the software settings?
I really don't care to leave the android turned on in a fully standby mode.
The energy the appliance spends is much Less than the size of the battery in my car.
I'm using newest Malakya Rom. And the 3G dongle is connected in the 3G/USB Cable.
I don't want to make hardware modifications.
Thanks!!!
Justo to note. I stop, and leave my car many many many times in a regular day. And the 3G dongle takes about 1 minute to get Internet signal, so I can finally, get routes using Waze. Keep stopped in a car during 1 minute is not really safe here at Brazil.
I don't know about the 3G dongle. but the way I have mine setup the stereo stays on all the time. I have my accessory cable pluged in with the power cable. I have to manually turn the stereo on and off every time I get off the car but it's starts right away. and with an offline GPS app you don't have to wait for the internet connection.
Get a powered usb hub.
Use that between your stereo usb and the 3g dongle.
All you have to do is use a 12v usb car charger connected to your constant 12v then connect the 5v output to the usb hub.
That way when the stereo can receive data but the stereo isn't powering the usb hub or the 3g dongle.
But i have indicator light but dongle dont work. I have no connection. Its Huawei dongle btw
I have the problem that the dongle 3g not always connects on radio start. often I have to reboot the device. its a huawei too...

Mhl problem

When I connect my z2 to my TV by mhl my tablet can no longer find my WiFi, it finds plenty of others just not mine.
As soon as I unplug it from the TV it connects to my WiFi straight away.
I have tried it on 3 TV's, the same thing happens every time
Any help is much appreciated

Note 20 5G N-981U1 Android Auto wont connect via USB.

Hi everyone, I've been searching on XDA and Google about connecting my stock note 20 to my car. USB connection doesn't work.
Yes, my cord is fine and works with other devices.
Yes, the USB port on the phone is fine and connects to my computer and TV.
This is not the only samsung device I've had an issue with.
The car is a 2019 Impreza that has android auto standard.
I've reset my phone and my headunit. Still doesn't work.
Anyone else have this issue and got it figured out?
