So earlier today I had a respring (reboot) issue for no reason.
I was having a call and unfortunately the phone restarted.
Tried to call again then happened again for 3-4 times.
I was scared. Now things look to be ok. I tried to call again and it's fine. Any ideas on what might happened? And anyone else had the same issue anytime?
Just happened once again. I didn't call anyone this time. Just unlocked my phone and needed password. So sad. Any help appreciated
Update: No more reboot or respring loops for the moment.

As title. Very strange, just stopped working
I've tried setting it to vibrate only and resetting it, no joy.
Now i believe i had this problem ages ago when i installed something, i can't remember for the life of me what it was though. And whatever it was i got round it and i have been usuing the phone without installing or changing anything for months. So it is very strange that it should suddenly stop working.
Any ideas?
I'm sure a hard reset will bring it back but i really haven't got the time or patience to start doing all my settings again and installing all my cabs
Actualy, the tweak that stopped the vibrate working i got rid of and haven't used since. So this is completely random. It doesn't vibrate for sms, ring or even when you switch the phone on
Perhaps the vibrate is actualy broken, i guess i wont know until i do a complete reset.. unless anyone has any other ideas?

I hard reset the phone and it came back... BUT it still wont vibrate on txt messages
I have the same problem now smsLED still flashes but no vibrate!!! The vibrate still works on other things just not sms. really wish i knew what is going on!!!

My boot animation is working ... timing works, images appear correctly, sequencing, etc ....
The only thing I noticed, is that it will occasionally boot twice. Anyone else have this issue with their custom boot animation? it doesn't even do it every time ... most times it only boots once, but occasionally, it gets to the lock screen, and starts up the phone again.
I looked around, and most of the info I could fine was people being stuck in boot loops, which is not the issue for me.
Anyone got any ideas? ( I'm new to this, go easy )

I've noticed this too, on TazzFroyo v24, I just figured it was my phone messing up because I've got some unknown setting wrong. It doesn't do it all the time, so I'm not quite sure what's going on. So you're not the only one!
Ok. Problems I have encountered the 2 days I have used the phone:
Constant freeze. The first hour I used the phone it froze and rebooted 7 or 8 times.
Missing SocialLocation.apk. This caused a problem for the GPS in smart actions to work at all. Rooted phone and installed the app, and problem disappeared.
Tried to hard reset the phone because of all the rebooting problems. Guess what, on the first menu coming up where you can choose language, the phone froze and rebooted again. Now still it is constantly freezing and rebooting.
The freezing issues does not really have one specific app causing it. It can happen whenever doing whatever!
Anyone got a solution for this? Maybe a OTA update for Norwegian model?
Well, as my dad's phone is still fine as of now with not a single reboot in 2 days, I'd suggest you get in contact with your carrier and ask for a replacement. This seems to be a phone defect and you should be able to get your replacement easily. Be sure to not mention rooting and installing SocialLocation.apk though!!
You rooted and removed some files from the System, did you not?
About a week ago I had strange things start happening with the touch screen. There would be a "screen touch" where I did not touch and sometimes the screen would go unresponsive all together. Turning off the screen and then back on would typically fix the issues but sometime I would have to restart. So I figured the ROM got corrupt somehow and so I changed the ROM. Well similar things continued to happen. Then at one reboot, it lost connection all together. What I realized is that it didn't have an APN. However, when I tried to add an APN and save it, it did not show up and I still have no connection.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on or how to fix this?
Update - Flashed a new radio and seems to have fixed the connection issues. I am still looking for answers as to why this is going on.
Also flashed the raindrop fix which did help the touchscreen issues. They still persist sometimes though
I flashed Android 4.2.2 to my International GS3 sometime back and noticed that the phone would often shut down on its own and when restarted, I cannot hear the person on other side during calls. This would go on till I turn off my phone for good 20-25 mins and then restart. Has anyone faced something similar and help? Thanks.
This can be caused by having the wrong modem but is usually solved by having a boot animation with sound. Try clearing caches and fixing permissions after.
