CherrugRom for Leeco Le Max 2 x82x [ROM][6.0][BASED ON EUI 5.9.028S] - LeEco Le Max 2 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other
Hi guys,
I've developed my personal custom rom. Italian people can read this article instead of this one.
These are all the features (I hope to remember all of them ) :
- based on CherrugKernel
- OTA updates for rom and kernel too
- Removed all chinese stuffs
- Gapps included
- Rooted with magisk 16.0
- Build.prop tweaks
- Increased volume step to 45
- Added support to su.d
- Better doze
- Better ram managment by crok
- Camera API 2 enabled
- Ads block integrated
- Face unlock support
- Google lens enabled
- Bigger space for Google photos' drive
- Developer options pre-activated
- Removed some futile voices in settings
- Removed some unused lib
- Busybox included
Tips:
1) For any problem with notifications open the dialer and call *#*#46360000#*#*. Disable the last voice of menu that will appears. Go to Settings.apk -> Battery -> Smart battery for apps and select all the apps of wich you want to receive notification. Now come back and select Align Wake-up and disable Align Wake-up voice. Now come back to the first Settings.apk page and select Permissions. Go to "You have allowed x apps to auto launch" voice and choose the same apps you have choose in smart battery menu. Done
2) Choose USA region to remove yellowpage's tab in phone and contacts and allow icons in notifications.
3) To enable Face recognition go to Settings.apk -> Security centre and set a screen lock. Now go to Smart Lock, insert your pattern/code/password and choose Trusted face then SET-UP, NEXT and memorize your face. To better unlock your phone memorize your face in different light's conditions.
4) For problem with camera go in camera's settings, scroll down to Use Camera2 API and enable it.
5) To pass CTS Profile in Magisk boot one time then use the universalsafetynetfix in download.
6) If u have problem with OTA updater clear app's download history, force close it, clear app's data and then reopen it.
The rom has been tested on my x829 6/128Gb and a x820 6/64Gb too. I granted that it's stable but I'm not responsible for any problems to your phone. Flash at your own risk.
How to install?
I advice to do a complete clean install. To do this go to twrp -> wipe -> advanced wipe -> select cache,dalvik,system,data and internal storage. First time I do also format data but isn't necessary. Now go to Advanced -> Adb sideload and check all the voices. Download rom's zip on pc. Now go to adb and fastboot drivers' folder and click right mouse's button + shift on an empty part of the folder. Choose open command line here or something like that from showed menu. Now write adb sideload and drag rom's zip on the window. For Windows 10 put ./ before adb command. On the phone do swipe. Wait some seconds and push enter on pc. If you're italian and want to install by conventional mode check this.

This is a version without Gapps. I replace Google package installer with stock one, root browser with es file explorer, removed Truecaller and put in Opera Touch to allow u download your prefered apk. Maybe Pi Music Player will crash due Google play services dependence. I called it Alpha because I don't have tested it yet, let me know for any problem.

From the store. Is an app which show you logcat. Grant superuser permission and set errors only, after that run face unlock and send me the log.

The log is strange I don't know if you have pick it right way but it seems to be a libs' error. First try do delete data to facelock app and after reboot in recovery and wipe cache and dalvik. Try again and let us know. Thank you for your time

MicroG - Not for those who want the easy way out... What is microg Microg is a free re-implementation of Google’s proprietary Android user space apps and libraries. In layman terms, it replaces the need to flash gapps. For more details visit the official site. How do I install this? March 23rd build will be the first release with support for microg. Fresh flash is a must. Don't even ask if it will work dirty flashing over a rom with gapps. It won't. If you choose not to use microG, you can dirty flash over the previous build. First build Download rom from the link in the OP. Download microg apps from the link above. Wipe system/cache/data Flash rom followed by microg apps Reboot. Hi. Tried the latest build on GT-i9200 Clean Flash , Opengapps Pico. Call,Data,Sound,everything works smooth. Camera works, Video recording does'nt. Ambient display and other options in Display Setting dosent get apply. Thanks Sir For Great ROM. :good: Also ghost touch is present. File manager works flashlight toggle works too.

INSTALLATION With custom TWRP recovery 1.If you have installed one rom, which came with your mobile, official or not or If you have the Indian Stock Miui see 6b & 6c.. You must have battery over 80% and of course have TWRP. The rom is stable release without root. If you want root see the instructions. My advice : if you are happy with your curent rom dont change it. Make full backup first to have it. 2. We put the rom bulk on the mobile (not in a folder) or a USB / OTG 4. Turn off our phone through the system or by pressing the right button (on / off). 5. Than on mobile press simultaneously for some time the volume up button (+) & on / off up to write LeEco Recovery and then leave it. 6. Enter to the TWRP recovery and if you have the previous 20s, press Wipe> advance wipe and select (Data & Cache & ART DALVIC cache) known factory reset. We slide right to do. Or just drag the slide down to the right to be alone. It can work just fine with the 2 wipes only (Cache & ART DALVIC cache) and stay all your applications in place, but the right is the previews step. Go on step (7) 6b. only [/ B] If you are from stock Indian with encryption already full wipe & Internal Storage and after put the Rom on mobile through TWRP and flashing. 6c.b If you are with another rom CM, Miui, Mokee etc., Advance wipe and select all except[/ B] Internal Storage. 7. Go back on first TWRP page, press INSTALL and find the rom to choose and do slide right to install. When finishes do not do anything it reboots to system. 9. The first start will not be long just about 3 min & 18 seconds!!. 10. When you enter the system and after you finish your settings, go to Settings - Phone information - press 7 times in a row in version number - (so you become programmers) then go back - Developer options - both within and check: USB debugging and down there that says (three are gathered) window animation scale, transition animation scale, Scale Animator duration, step inside them and choose everywhere like numbers 0.5 to go more fast than ever! All so if you want go on tab phone info, press my upper logo and see all my work/roms. 12. If you are facing problems with video streaming - live - sending etc on Instagram - Facebook - Google Duo app - Watsup etc flash this through TWRP after finishing the installation and system settings. Thanx for you work! Flashed it yesterday and all fine but as other also write: there are still to much cn apps, browser which only has cn search,background app, wallet, theme store .. And geofence seems not to work in europe, i can set my location for wifi switch on/off and loundness but it doenst work. And another question: why work the long press homebutton not with google? On other phones there is no problem but on the max 2 i cant set to open google with long press homebutton, with no rom (test mokee, RR)

All the remaining apps by me has left because they are necessary for store and stock launcher to download themes and fonts. 2. Stock browser has all search providers. The 3rd from the end is Google the 2nd is BING etc. Change local to US or other countrys to see them on English. Stock browser is necessary for scanqr code to working. 3. Background app??? 4. Wallet yes it's not necesary apk. 5. Theme store is on China language but i manage to translate it to greek that's why is inside. All so the themes inside is for global use and there are very nice. 6. I dont use it all so but maybye other users can and is needed for wifi smart lock. 7. For me working perfect maybye you make something wrong? 8. Loundness??? Dolby Atmos?/ Working ok here... 9. Install the apk, make it system app, give the proper symlinks to open it from there. Like i say on my previews post, you must nstall the apk, make it system app, give the proper symlinks to open it from there. With China location there is'nt this feature only the special settings.

That thing doesn't take place in Stock lineage apps like Phone, Messaging or Clock etc. Also the UI of Calendar app isn't good as compare to Google calendar app, however Google apps is the solution. Q:What else does it do? A: It will install Sony Music player (Beta version), trust me it isn't bloatware but something better than Eleven (stock lineage music player), also it adds a nice unlock sound effect. Features: 1) Removes Lineage apps: Calendar, Clock, Eleven, Calculator, Messaging, Contacts and Phone. 2) Adds Google apps of: Calendar, Clock, Calculator, Messaging, Contacts and Phone, Beta version of Sony Music. 3) Unlock Sound effect from MIUI. **CAUTION**: I've tested the MOD only with Official RR 5.8.3 and with NANO open gapps package. If anyone here facing issue like phone app unable to see in app drawer, then it means you probably have dirty flash my new version of mod over old one. In order to remove this issue, either do clean flash or open root browser go in system/priv-app/GoogleDialer and remove the older version, it's something with ''8.0.1...'' and reboot

GApps on CN ROM 3.26 (PIE 9.0) - and root (CN and OMNI)
First thing first,... I'm Just a noob here, I just did some testing things during my quarantine free time and got many errors with this Red Magic (which as far as I know has no update until now for international user). So, If there's something you guys know more than Me, or if I might do something wrong on my guide here, please correct me... My goal was to get rid of the touchscreen bugs which still exist on International ROM (Oreo 8.1), but I still want the RGB light feature also... Do it at your own risk! Here you go: ROOT for Omni 9.0 Unofficial by Vache and CN ROM 3.26 you can get it here This root method I got it from here by member changguangyu on Red Magic 3! Here you go : I've tried with Fresh stock CN ROM 3.26 (update from without formating, result always failed for google apps at least for me) install TWRP from fastboot Download Magisk Manager (using 7.5.1 (267) when this post created) Extract your boot.img from your Rom and save it to your download folder (i dunno - already tried to put it in another place, it gave me nothing). Open Magisk Manager and it will say something like Magisk not Installed Install it and select and patch the boot file you saved before. It will create magisk_patched.img and save it to your computer. Enable developer options > make sure to check (ON)USB debugging and OEM unlock on your device Open command prompt on Windows: reboot to fastboot command : Code: adb reboot bootloader Unlock your device Code: fastboot oem nubia_unlock NUBIA_NX609J Use command : Code: fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img Reboot! and your phone should be rooted now. Installing GAPPS on CN ROM 3.26 better, and simple method: with this method, it was much simpler and the result is Google Play can download big files like PUBG Mobile First, make sure your device is rooted! Second, make sure twrp are installed (I use the one that came in the same link with omni 9.0 i think) Third just flash GAPPS get it at Opengapps get it here . I use the pico one... that's it! everything is smooth at least for me. Now for a bit tricky part Installing GApps (Google Play Services, etc) CN ROM only (I'm using 3.26). This can be done after you root your device! Open Magisk and go to the module, search for App Systemizer (Terminal Emulator) by Veez21 and reboot your device. Download Google Installer (Chinese apps) (got it from this thread ) by Teeemoo Click the blue-button and install everything until all the checklist is finished! After the install is done, don't open any google or add an account yet!. Go to settings > App info > search for google calendar sync and everything that smells like google set every permission to yes! even storage! yes, Anything! (At first, I did not allow storage permission for play services, and it gives me an error during contact sync!) (Also you may want to check Settings > Notification Management > Playstore > make it open ). Search for Termux (terminal emulator) on the internet, download the apk and install it. (I think I remembered it using F-Droid) open termux use the following command : Code: su then Code: systemize then choose option Code: 1 listed apps will be shown. choose Google apps at which number you want to systemize (mine started on 10 until 15) so i put Code: 10 enter and then I make it as privilege apps or priv-apps by choosing option number Code: 2 , and then go back to menu Code: y --- Choose another google apps until it finished! After all that, reboot! Start by opening the play store And Voila :fingers-crossed::good::laugh: Tips: Already tested it, some google features will not work nicely if it's not system apps... My solution is : Install all google apps that i need after Play Store is installed nicely. Example for Google Assistant (Saying "Hey Google" hot words) : Force Stop Nubia Share, Nubia Voice Allow all permission, also go to Settings > Power Management > Application Power Management > Your Apps > Regardless of Control. After that, Open Termux and systemize the Google Assistant. After Reboot you will be prompted for "Okay, Google" hotword detection. Again if someone has better tips, please post it... I also experience some apps that don't run on the background (Whatsapp for example) - u need to run it first and don't clear from recent sometimes I guess. I tried to download PUBG Mobile, and it says: can't update blablabla... see common ways to fix the problem (anyone knows how to resolve this issue? - (this problem only for big file i think) ) The Chinese Rom is nice, but it gave me a headache sometimes I already allow permission to some apps, when reopen, it goes back doesn't have permission again.... but after making it as a system (priv-app) from the app systemizer (from magisk and use it with Termux), all goes well. PS: it will be great if someone can test this too, or make this ROM bloat-free! Thanks :good: *latest update with CN ROM 3.32 = it works with this method... UPDATE : CMIIW the 3.32 is so buggy for me, for example : we can't hear anything for ringtone after we changed the ringtone using mp3, and more bugs again... ringtone always getting silent by itself after several hour reboot, the most annoying thing is, fingerprint sometimes working sometimes not!. anyone that use 3.32 please share your experience too please...

Click to collapse this phone for me never got that much hot. It never had any touch issues. But yeah now u have latest security patch with this update. But the webview is still age old 66 something which is pain in ass. With root you can change atleast latest webview.
ROM V3.30 twrp-3.3.1-1 sorry for my english, IT WORKS, i tried the rom v3.30 and the official TWRP twrp-3.3.1-1-nx609j_SAR.img, downloaded from the official page twrp.me, just can´t hide magisk, display hide magisk failed and NETFLIX app doesn't work, your device isn't compatible, everything else is fine. about the touch bug and the heat, i don't have any problem.

i have a 3.32 rom,its fantastic,but i need help to install Gapps,i have try,but nothing work,anyone can help me?i would appreciate it very much, i'm using it as second phone, and it's a bomb, but i don't want to put back the international rom, i prefer the cn, partly i solved it with huawei appgallery, but i would like the playstore..thanks

Click to collapse i think there is no way to get the device certified, because is a chinese rom, but i have no problem with that, only some apps can download from playstore as like netflix
