Your method doesn't work! If you send the motherboard, I can help you to save it and make it bootable, but if the original EMMC data is damaged and cannot be backed up to eks. It will be turned on. You will not be able to use Netflix when prompted

Relative benefits of 2015 edition. You can only change the chip. You can remove the chip and send it to me. I can help you rewrite the firmware. But your machine can't update 8.00-8.02 at present. Or I'll send you an EMMC directly, and you can change it yourself. I'll block updates. 8.00-8.02 cannot be updated temporarily. This is a problem with NVIDIA.

Please can you send me the 16gb emmc files please
I need it to transfer to my 128gb emmc chip

Can you send me all the firmware files for the 16gb nvidia sheild 2017 emmc please

Interested, I have a 2015 that wont boot.

so , is this a service , to send the 2015 model , and upgrade the fixed storage ( emmc ) >>??
what is the limit, or what is the max size 2015 can go for EMMC ?
this raises an additional question. is it possible to increase the RAM ?
i suspect that EMMC with upgraded EMMC would be a bit faster than the PRO500GB version ( even with a SSD )??
swap chips on a re-work station is no big deal to me, but pulling the data off the old chips, to reburn on new ones , is something I've never done.
When a larger EMMC is used , is it possible to partition it, and have a DUAL BOOT shield TV (lineage , stock OS, etc..)

may i ask one additional question. ( mind racing with many paths here )
-- does this option (upgrade the EMMC) also apply to the newest version of the shield TV. (it has a slightly better processor) - and what would be the maximum size limit ?

Someone can edit the PT section to increase the size of the eemc to 32G. Unfortunately, I did not find the documentation of what is the maximum supported volume of emc, but judging by the fact that 64G is used in Pixel C, then 64 is probably possible. On taobao, boards with 32 and 64G were sold, but now I don't see them on the site.

[Q] Android TV box root and reflash, help

Hello everyone,
I am new here and like most posting a message for the first time I hope it's in the correct forum section.
For the record I have always been pretty good at researching things and figuring things out for myself but my current issue has me puzzled. Here is the issue:
I purchased a chinese Vivobox i3 rougly a year ago and for the most part it has worked well but has recently fallen short on its functionality.
After a recent power outage I came to find that the mini - air mouse remote stopped working except for 3 buttons which I found strange. I immediately thought no big deal just flip the box over and push the reset button and all will be good except pushing and holding the reset button then plugging in power cord didn't do anything except display a "safe mode" message in the bottom left of the screen after it booted up. This still didn't fix my problem with the remote. It still didn't work.
I went out and bought a new track pad / keypad combo unit thinking my old one had simply died but it didn't work at all.
So I tried using a USB mouse (which I should have done before buying a new wireless keypad at the begining) and it worked but things got more bizzar.
Using my mouse I setup my box (internet connection etc.) and came to find that all my downloaded apps were gone ( probably got wiped from memory ) and navigated to the Google playstore and tried downloading an app. The download appears to start by showing a progress bar but the progress bar never moves and it doesn't download any files. It stays in download mode and doesn't download anything, its weird I can check my hotmail visit plenty of pages but it will not download any android apps. Its as though the android firmware is corrupted.
In short, the box appears to have lost remote control functions, and the android functionality is all screwed up.
So this brings me to my current situation, I figured I would visit the vendor's website and get the newest firmware and flash mybox in hopes that it would correct things. I visited the vendors support website (vivobox.co) but the site is no longer up and there are no files anywhere online for this box.
With no files available I thought to try and root it and load a custom rom but I can't get the box to boot into android recovery mode to install the necessary files . I tried all manual methods I could think of but this box will not allow a boot into recovery mode. I then went online and downloaded Amlogic SD card maker.exe. Tried to create a boot recovery SD card and that failed. I tried everything.
The only thing that kinda worked was forcing a boot from SD card condition by using the shorting 2 pins method on the memory IC on the board inside with an SD card containing a complete image and firmware package for a mitricom box (found on XDA), except it freezes 1/4 of the way through the update.
In short I need to do one of 2 things, 1) find a way to manually enter android system recovery and root it to install a custom rom or 2) find a file that I can force boot with a compatible firmware.
Here are the specs. on my Vivobox i3 if anyone has any suggestions or has encountered this before.

[Q][SOLVED] Need Stock Rom for K968/A600 - MTK6572 Chipset

Hi All! I just got a new phone... It's a Chinese phone with no apparent brand.
Unfortunately I tried to root it and while using SP Flash Tool and MK Droid Tools I bricked it , Now i've been trying for days flashing different roms for similar phones in the hopes that one will work. One kinda worked but was the wrong resolution and I couldn't use it... I don't even remember which one it was.
Before doing this I tried to back up my images, but I am an idiot and didn't do it right. I have a scatter file and some other images from my original rom... but nothing beyond the recovery partition. Here's the list of files I have from the original phone:
MT6572_Android_scatter.txt
preloader.bin
MBR
EBR1
uboot.img (renamed to lk.img)
boot.img
factory_NONmodified_recovery.img
nvram.bin
pro_info
protect_f
protect_s
seccfg
I have also attached the scatter file in case anyone finds it useful.
If anyone can help me find the missing files or a different factory image, I'd greatly appreciate it! Below are specific details about the phone... maybe there's one that you guys know about that fits it? Also, if i try a different rom... which parts of my original rom should I still flash in, and which parts of the new rom should I flash?
Thanks alot!!

I think it might take a while till i get any response, so still trying myself.... I'm looking around to see if anyone has a working phone that is like mine, but until then I'll still try roms for devices similar to mine, but i have a question, maybe I should post it on a new thread?
How do i find out what's going on whie the device is booting? it gets to the splash screen, i can get to recovery as well, but I want to know what's going on during the boot process... adb logcat does nothing but say -waiting for device-
Is there another way?
Thanks again!
I wasn't sure wether I should create a new post or just reply here, so i just went with reply
After looking I was finally able to get a dump of the stock rom from someone with an identical phone, and in the spirit of openness, I'd like to share it with you guys if anyone ever needs it.
Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/9zkfz9n7hyiy8k6/A600_MT6572_ForFlashtoolFromReadBack.zip
You can flash this rom using SP Tools. Also, the phone will not boot immediately after flashing this rom... first you need to start the phone in (bootloader?) mode by holding the vol. Down and power. Once you're there do a factory wipe... technically this should be done in recovery mode, but idk how to do it with this rom because there's no "Yes" option when recovery asks you if you're sure about a factory wipe. Maybe it's hidden with some sort of key combo? idk, do it how you prefer.
Well, thanks, if you have questions let me know

Think I might try this in the next coming weeks since there is no other guide out there. Just need a stencil and emmc adapter. @Jackie393 I might have a lot of questions for you once I get started as I’m not very proficient with Linux. Also, could you not find any points on the PCB so we don’t have to lift the chip?

After an Amazon update I also had a boot problem with my Amazon Fire TV2 and only saw the white logo and then the red debug note
I tried to repair the Fire TV2 according to instructions from Jackie393...
eMMC Flash desoldered, a new Flash of the same type ordered from China and programmed with its files via Linux. After soldering the eMMC Flash on the Amazon Fire TV2 mainboard , did not boot anymore.
The white LED remained off...
After I flashed his UserDat directory on my original eMMC, my directory was destroyed by the update, I think I soldered this original eMMC back on the mainboard of Amazon TV.... the mainboard immediately started with the white LED and board booted again completely......
Now my question? Are there any hidden files on the eMMC that the bootloader asks for and which of course are not present on a completely new eMMC?
Sorry for all. i order new eMMC from Aliexpress, i try flash all parttition to new eMMC but My Fire TV not boot, may be some partition hide with original eMMC or new eMMC need patch CID to compatible with CPU.
Sorry my english. i'm not a phone repaier, and developer. sorry all
Hello, Jackie393... You don't have to apologize ... if it were that easy, everybody could do it Does anyone have an idea why this part doesn't boot ?
did you successfully reflash and downgrade.
i know in 2021 and beyond , most likely the only way to do this now is using the unbrick , and
rom flash method. this is because with each updated firmware ,
amazon patches more and more to stop the holes that allow root .
unlike years ago the simple one click rooting solution simply wont work anymore.
you would need to search for unbricking fire tv 2 sloane ,
the technique requires you to learn how to short the fire tv 2 motherboard pins at the same time
you run the specific linux command line prompts.
yes its tricky , and requires you to learn the feel of how to do it ,
but once you get it , youll never have a bricked amazon device again , nor are you
at the mercy of amazon anymore.
i highly recommend the unbrick/ rom flash method ,
but be prepared to make mistakes and get frustrated until you get it.
it definately takes time and a learning curve.

H10 Max Allwinner H616 Tv box firmware

I've recently flashed the latest update on my H10 and there is a few bugs
-Wifi unable to toggle on
-bluetooth menu gone
Got the img from this place and PhoenixUSBPro to flash
HTML:
https://androidtvbox.eu/firmware-h10-max-for-tv-box-with-allwinner-h616-soc-20200701/
Understand there is few versions, the 2GB ram 16GB rom version does not have 5GHZ radios and bluetooth, i am having 4GB ram 64GB rom.
Did a few experiment and the box actually works with firmware for T95 and TX6 which run same chipset.
The phoenix tool didn't give me the option to backup firmware before flashing so i am unable to go back.
hello im having same issue with a transpeed t98-616 4/32gb did you managed to solve the problem?
i asked for a exchange fom my seller.
The tool can't do rom backup at all...
Please give me firmware

Know well that only the correct version for CPU chipset RAM memory like 4Gb and 64Gb (Which ia not ROM) but RAM storage space, firmware must by used.
Hello all, I am looking for Android 10 Allwinner H616 4Gb 64Gb firmware or for Android 11.
Hi guys, hope anyone might be able to help me.
I bought a H10 Max Android TvBox. (H10 Max)
It has Android 10 and the Settings app had the option "Root Switch" that i enabled.
After reboot, I installed Magisk, it asked to update and... boom, rebooted and never came back...
Completly bricked...
Now i got the firmware, the PhoenixSuit 1.10, LiveSuit 1.11 and PhoenixCard 4.2.4 and none of this worked...
It seems that it is so simple but i manage not to do it...
Maybe some of you know what is happening and may give me a tip or a fix to any of this situations...
BTW, the driver "USB Device(VID_1f3a_PID_efe8)" is installed and it seems ok...
PhoenixSuit 1.10
It detects the box, prompts to format, i click Yes (twice), it says it will start to flash but never does, it remains on this screen for ages... eons...

LiveSuit 1.11
Every image i use is says it is inavlid
PhoenixCard 4.2.4
It formats the SCard ok, but the box wont start any recovery
This i suspect it might have to do with the card i´m using, because the box on its specs can only read 32Gb SDcards and i´m using a 64Gb... Don´t have any other i can use for this, and tried recovery using USB Stick but it wont start any recovery either....
Please any tips would help, thanks

The first 600MB is your EFI partition and you absolutely cannot delete it or else your Windows will not be able to boot. The last partition is used to store data for Windows recovery. While it is not a must be highly recommended.

because the size is almost the same of the 2 partitions I thought i had 2 recovery ones and wanted to delete one of them
the system partition EFI shouldnt it be smaller?
I think it got bigger when i cloned the disk (now using the cloned one)
You can resize it to 300 but I wouldnt recommend anything smaller than that.
my original disk I had had 2 file partitions c,d (which i merged to one before the clone) AND
one 100MB, 16MB, 658MB
the 658 was the recovery i guess
the 100 was the system? that became 600 on the clone ?
and the 16 ? vanished on the clone

Like mentioned, be careful with the partitions. I suggest doing some reading, on the required size needed per system. Just a thought.
Yeah not gonna mess with the size etc
Just wondering why my previous system was 100 and got 600
And what did the 16mb do? I guess nothing cause it was not cloned in the new disk
When you clone the drives, there is a chance where the software "scaled" the partition size, and in this case increased your EFI partition from 100 to 600. The 658 partition is definitely recovery because it is a NTFS partition.
Also it is good to know that EFI partition is always FAT32. The only thing I am not sure is the 16MB but I guess there is nothing to worry about since it is no longer there and only 16MB.. LOL
Microsoft reserved partition (MSR)
In Windows 10, the size of the MSR is 16 MB.
this got lost while cloning, still works though
