Ah good point! I rushed ahead seeing the 27W charging capability...
Will have another quick look as it's not yet dispatched, but failing that I may keep that one as indeed a nifty little charger

The one in the box is already 27W

With an EU plug though.
Will an EU to UK plug adapter interfere with the charging speed at all?
I like the look of this Anker one to be able to plug my Huawei watch charging cable into that too and other things when on holiday (going to Nice on Tuesday and the interchangeable plug will be handy!)

wow 35€ only for the charger? I've already ordered the 27w one from xiaomi with the 20w wireless charger and a usb c cable for 25€ let's hope that it actually arrives.
I would probably superglue an adapter to the us plug and problem solved

No will not. Except the plug FR and UK are quite the same with electrical norms. BTW it's included directly into the Mi 9 Box, no more QC3 power charger inside.

No, from what I have read only the China version will receive the 27W. Charger.
As it makes sense because I can't find the Xiaomi 27watt charger with eu plugs.
I believe global will be send with 18watt.
I will receive mine today... So will find out.

Since it's Quick Charge 4 - - I assume I could have a generic QC4+ plug for fast speeds? Their site says compatible with Xiaomi
Just wondering, because QC4+ is not Xiami's technology alone

Aukey Quick Charge for the 6th: Is it ok&good quality?

Hi,
Looking to buy a quick charger and found this: (In Aliexpress 10.20$)
http://www.aukey.com/product/pau28-qualcomm-quick-charge-usb-adapter
How is this company?
If possible, i would like to ask you for a recommanded USB cable for for quick charging.
(Maybe the Monoprice USB 2.0 Micro 5pin 28/28AWG ?)
Thank you very much!
Read a few of the 1,400 reviews. http://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Cert...8&qid=1450297938&sr=8-1&keywords=Aukey+PA-U28
In amazon it is not available out of the states.
How likely that in Aliexpress or a from a Chinese seller in eBay it wont be an original item?
Searched over here about nice-good quality quick charger...Sadly mostly it came from Amazon and with ridiculously shipping prices.
Anyone out of states that bought and can recommand?
Thank you!
Thanks!
I have had this for a few days now, purchased it from amazon.co.uk with the 2 meter aukey turbo charge USB cable as well.
Charges faster than the original charger that came with my nexus 6,looks sleeker, had to get white to match my phone.

I gave you a link for amazon to read the reviews. 1,400+ reviews should give you a good indication whether it's good or not.
It's very good
I use the exact charger for the N6 and get good results. Also use the comparable ones from Anker and iClever, all sold on Amazon.
I know @wolfen69
But sadly, Aukey dose not ship their prpducts to my country.
Buying in Amazon a lot and usually everything is available for me.
@snackwells , Also Anker dose not always ship over to me...I'll try at eBay too.
Will check out iClever.
Thank you!
I have the Aukey QC 2.0 dual USB car charger and it is awesome. Charges as fast as my AC one. Makes me feel good about Aukey's products.
Good luck with getting one!
Thank you @biglilsteve
Any thoughts about the Aukey Quick Charger?
(Also sold in Amazon)
Or:
The BlitzWolf Quick Charge
And a Q.C cable: BlitzWolf QC2.0 cable ?
Thanks!
I use the Amazon Basics microusb cables for everything:
http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Micro-USB-USB-Cable-Meters/dp/B00C28L5UW
They feel nice and robust and I get Quickcharge out of them when hooked up to an appropriate charger.
Ordered from Geekbuying the Tronsmart by a great promotion of Buy 1 Get 1 4Free!
I've had great success with Anker and the anker braid USB cables...I hiked the entire Appalachian trail with an anker charger/cable combo and am still using it months later at home over the stock charger.
Also got an anker car charger and braid USB.

I've been using the charger for a couple weeks and have found no major faults with it. It would be nice if it had a QC verification LED like the Anker version, but that's a minor issue. I haven't paid attention to the specific charge times on the N6, but FWIW here are the times I had on the Sony Xperia Z3 (starting at 1%):
30 min...23%
60 min...48%
90 min...74%
120 min...92%
150 min...99%
155 min...100%

Any update on Quick Charge 2.0 for NA honor 5x?

There was talk of working on a kernel to enable quick charge when I posted in July.
Nope. Qualcomm QuickCharge is still not supported on the Honor 5x. However, users (including myself) do see a huge difference in using a 2Amp charger, such as the Anker Chargers.
There is definitely a different while using the 2A charger. I used this Sunday, borrowed from one of my friend, and was able to charge from 16% at 10.16 AM to 100% 12.15 PM (less than 2 hours)

well it takes almost 3 hours with stock charger for most of the users on honor 5x unless they use 2A charger
It takes 2hr with stock charger (for me) and I am happy with it
2hrs top with stock charger,
using samsung 2A charger made no difference.
bt while using the phone and doing heavy tasks while charging then 2A charger does better that the stock one.
The charger which Im using is the stock charger which came with the box. Its a 2A charger.
It takes 2 hrs for me to charge from 5% to 100% by 2 hours.
Hope so everyone is having same kind of charger as I have.

Quick Charge Support?

Does it support Quick Charge 2.0/3.0?
Based on the specifications off the Chinese website, supports only 5v/2a. Not sure hardware, software or licensing limitation.

I have bought a MiPad 4 (3+32).
If the QC3.0 charger is used, it will only up to about 12W. It still needs 2.5 hours.
The tablet does support QC 3.0 but the included brick does not.

Do you have any device that would measure the voltage and amperage??
It would be great to get the actual reading...
I have one Mi Pad 4 (3Gb/32Gb Wi-Fi) and with the battery at 20%, charging in a QC3.0 port, with the screen off it went to 1.85Ah at 5.05V. It was around 9Wh. So i can tell that it probably will go to 10Wh maximum and so it has probably only support for QC2.0.
I used a UGreen wall dual charger (one port QC3.0, the other is 2.4Ah) and the cable also a UGreen nylon that supports fast charge. They are found very easily in ebay and I strongly recommend this brand for charging (value/quality). For measuring I also used a very common usb tester that goes up to 5.1Ah/30V found also in ebay.
I can tell that with that same charger and cable, my Le Max 2 goes to a maximum of 24Wh(!) (around 8V/3Ah) when it was around 10-20% battery. So I can tell that the charger is at least outputing that power.
I confirm that no matter if used original charger or QC3 from Mi6 it can't charge 2-100% faster than 3 hours (usually 3h20m). Besides it doesn't show any notification about fast charging so this function must be locked.
IMO this is the biggest flaw in this tablet and I hope Xiaomi will do the same like with its Mi A1. The phone was released without the QC support, but it got unlocked with the Oreo update.
Xiaomi AD07ZM charger show 5V / 1.9A on USB tester with my Mi Pad 4 LTE at 40% battery.

using various chargers and cables, both with miui 9 and 10.
I can say that MI PAD4 - DOES NOT have QC. it uses regular 5V/2A.
on xiaomi mi6, which clearly stated to suppoer QC, you have a sign of 'lightning bolt' on the top, as well as on the lock screen.
Mi-Pad DOES NOT.
is this limitation in hardware or easily bypassable using magisk?
coz the Plus version got at least QC2.0 enabled.
I have an own QC adapter (not from Xiaomi). When I plug in my Mi6 it shows "fast charging". But on my MiPad4 LTE it doesnt say anything about that... So I also would say, that the normal MiPad4 has no QC support.. Maybe the PLUS has it..

that's what the specifications say, BUT mine does definitely not support any kind of QC, neither 2.0 nor 3.0. I have tried it with a variety of QC2/3 chargers and cables that all work fine for QC (QC3.0 in this case) with my Mi Note 3 ("Jason"). On the Mi Pad 4 plus it does NOT quick-charge: neither does the Pad show any indication that it does, nor do my indicator cables (that have different color LEDs for normal or quick charging), nor is the charging time significantly reduced when using a QC charger versus a "normal" charger.
So, in theory it supports QC, in practice it doesn't for whatever reason. It may be supported by the chipset, but may be blocked by the kernel or MIUI.
I can confirm it does not support QC.

Hi,
I got an MI PAD 4 imported to India and unfortunately lost the charger .
I got know NI PAD 4 needs a 5v 2a charger. Can i use the Mi India standard 2A charger as the voltages in india and China are quite same .
It is is tough to find an equivalent adapter for the MI PAD 4 here in India .
Could you please help me with any suggestions .. i am currently charging it through USB ports in my laptop but the tablet is nearly dead.
look forward to your response.

Input (line) voltage doesn't really matter for this kind of chargers, they do support a wide range of input voltage. What matters is the output voltage. If it is 5V there is no problem using that.

How Do I Know If My Mi 9 is Charging at QC 4.0 Speeds

Hi Guys
Just purchased a Xiaomi Mi 9 along with a razer charger QC 4.0 charger and was wondering if the phone gives any indication that you are charging at QC 4.0 speeds.
Download "Ampere" to see at what rate your phone charges.
Thanks just downloaded the application.

Just the charging speed, QC4+ should be around 4A, if I'm not mistaken? Haven't checked, but I think that's about what you should get. My Mi 9 charges at 3.3A with the stock adapter.

I bought the Belkin QC4+ charger and it seems to charge the same at the stock Chinese model (8/128) adapter.
Mid 4000s mAh @4.4v
Take it for what you will. I bet anything is better than the Global brick I guess.
I know it's working because my phone charges absurdly fast.
Look for rapid charging on lock screen
Or charge turbo on charge animation
I am using the Hama QC4+ charger, no Charge Turbo and no Charge Quick/Fast displayed.
Wonderful charger
It does charge kinda quick, and the text shows Charging Fast, but that's it. Disappointed.
Could always use one of these, they're fairly cheap and quite usefull for checking port/usb output
or you simply look at the GSI lockscreen which integrates usb meter
shows volts, ampers, temperature, battery% and speed status

I bought the Belkin QC4+ charger and it seems to charge the same at the stock Chinese model (8/128) adapter.
Mid 4000s mAh @4.4v
Take it for what you will. I bet anything is better than the Global brick I guess.

This was not my experience at all. I bought that belkin 4.0+ and it averaged at 2200... I don't think the phone does Charge Turbo or even Fast on 4.0 / 4.0 + because it isn't really a QC 4 rated phone. Offical Xiaomi chargers that do 27 w are running at QC 3.0 (look closely at the brick) they do however have an extra mode which makes the QC 3.0 charge TURBO... here is the confusion I beleive after buying a Hama 4.0+ and this Belkin 4.0+ you said works but doesn't charge Turbo.

I got this app. But it gives me a wrong information. I checked via real usb voltmeter. Recording the app charger itself is charging less than 2000 mah. But I connected this charger to wireless charger and I gave almost 4000. Who is know please explain me, how can I get more from wireless charger than charger itself?
By the way charger I bought from AliExpress, original Xiaomi 27w charger

I am using the Hama QC4+ charger, no Charge Turbo and no Charge Quick/Fast displayed.
Wonderful charger
It does charge kinda quick, and the text shows Charging Fast, but that's it. Disappointed.

Usb type c cable capable of hypercharging

Hello ARP2 fellas i am currently in search of a replacement usb-c cable for my 30W charger as the stock one ended up in my dog's menu The official Asus cable (ACAU003) which comes with the 30W charger seems harder to find and even if i managed to spot a couple of them they sell for 20+$, add the shipping fees and it will cost as much as the 30W charger itself Is there anyone around who tried an aftermaket cable capable of 30W Hypercharging? Many usb-c cables from AliExp or Ebay are marketed as 100W ones but not everyone in the comments is happy with the quick charging results on their devices and that's why i am hesitant to buy one. Any help is appreciated.

Try Baseus, usb3.1 to C works great + very good quality, but didnt try their usbC to C yet, its supposed to arrive in around a week so I can give you an update then.
Thanks Vardes, if you will not forget about it jump in and share your thoughts please. I might wait some more until someone else replies. Yeah Baseus and UGreen have a lot of positive reviews, still many people complain about their fast charging results

I would recommend Apples USB-C to USB-C cable. I have been using that since my N10+ and now ROGPHONE 2.
I'm using 2 of these mcdodo cables, 2m each rated 5a.
With the original charger from Asus I must say that the charging is very very fast. And I'm using one to charge my phone in my car, with a 30w small Baseus charger.
They have new cables tho', something with autodisconnect if u check their page but i didn't got them so i don't know how good those are.

got my baseus c to c cable, tested it today with stock charger, it has shown me hypercharge and overall charging time was around 1.5h from 8 to 100%. Overall build quality is great, braided 2m cable - almost identical to Bhl00's one, just different plugs. Here is the cable itself: http://imgur.com/gallery/A5Ee4Yy

VarDes thank you for coming back leaving your feedback here. I am happy your Baseus cable is suitable for Hypercharging, just one last favor. Can you share a link or a reference product picture of the specific Baseus cable you have bought since they have several usb-c to usb-c cables in their portfolio. Thank you in advance

Hello is your baseus c to c cable looks like this? I want to buy but afraid wrong, it's written supports PD3 and QC 4.0 though, it's shown 60W though, is this ok cause the original charger is only 30W? Just want to make sure just in case, thanks for your help !

Looks exactly like the one I have, and it is ok that it supports 60W - just means its basically futureproof and/or capable of charging a laptop .
