I could be chosen as Honor 20 beta tester because I'm so much into Honor and Huawei devices :
I currently had experiences on Honor 9, Honor 10, Honor 8x, Huawei P20, Huawei Mate20 Pro, Huawei Mediapad T5 and Huawei Matebook X pro.
-So, I could review what this new Honor challenger would bring.
I would be already starting to beta test all that I can if I had one in hands

Contest opens on 5/8/19.

I would love a chance to beta test this device. I was chosen for the View 10 when it released, and loved the device. I even devleoped a few tweaks for it... tho, my last test ended up bricking it, it was certainly one of the best android devices I have ever had the pleasure of playing on
Here's hoping you chose me

I've been a phone enthusiast for 9 years and would love to get my hand on a honor phone.
I'd love to test the EMUi software and compare the various aspects like battery life, performance and the camera quality of the phone itself.

I beta tested the Alcatel Idol 5 about 2 years ago for alcatel, but it alcatel't live up to my expectations. The honor 20 seems quite promising! I never officially reviewed a phone, but I do it all the time for friends and family. Not sure if this is enough reason to be picked, but I hope I have a chance ?

Obviously just like everyone I like to test the amazing Honor 20 series phones especially Pro one. I can provide indepth analysis of the phone and bring this phone's features to everyone who is yet to notice or consider the amazing Honorphones. I think Honor as a phone company deserves much more. I have been covering Honor devices via my youtube channel even in my native language. Hopeful I can be one of the first to do so for Honor 20 pro !!!! I am really hyped for the cameras and obviously the design too !!! Not much of a gamer here but I can promise you I can push the camera to higher possibilities !!! Hope to win

if you choose me , you will have best photo/selfie, review best battery life and gaming review i use meny brands and now i stand on huawei mate 20x
and i know emui very good

I want it
Heavy android user, dissapointed owner of a galaxy s8+ and with overall phone performance in general. Would like to try a phone that really blows my mind in all aspects!

I'm an android fan since 2012.
I love to test drive phones.
My own phone is an a5 2015, which is now almost 4byears old.
I want a new one and this is one of the best.
I'll provide detailed analysis, I have the tech experience to do so.

My name is Stefan. I'm interested in technology since forever. I also write on the Romanian tech blog https://gadget4u.ro since 2015. On the blog I am looking to show people new devices, apps and offer them help with using their electronics or troubleshooting when needed. I am always excited to test and review new stuff!

I have used Honor phones before and really hate their clunky UI. They have made some good progress with EMUI 9 but I still find so many buggy elements in the UX that could be fixed for a better overall experience. By being a part of their Beta program, I will have a better chance of being heard and making an impact on Honor brand to make it super user friendly.

I am a smarthphone and technology entushiast. I want a chance to check this new device and all the improvements of the brand.

Honor 20 is marketed as phone with great camera capabilities which I as photographer would be able to review to the great extent and reveal its full potential. Other features of the phone would be of course also thoroughly tested. As student of masters at English in collage, written language won't be problem.

I have strong skills in speaking and writing in English and I breathe, eat and live technology, smartphones and PCs. I am the person my family and friends ask when they want an opinion about which smartphone they should buy of if they have any tech regarded problem. I read and watch many smartphone reviews so I believe I am the man for this
Cheers

Excelent
I really like Honor and Huawei are excellent mobile phones quality price have been improving a lot. I would love to try this new device

I have a strong passion for phones. I always look into the best ones and read reviews. Always looking forward for the next innovative device and I know the Honor 20 is shaping up to be innovative. With it's sleek and smooth hardware design and punch hole cutout, it looks to be a winner. Huawei has been successful with their P30 line of devices and releasing the Honor 20 series give consumers a chance at a great mid-tier device.

Testing phones
I have tested many phones, I am profession photographer and i would like to test this phone because of the camera and the display

I would like to be the beta tester because I have good knowledge about Huawei / Honor Devices and have been contributing to Honor community from many days.
Have used 4c,6x,7x and 10 and got good knowledge of the Honor Products and its EMUI features.Have got around 2500+ posts in the Honor Community in XDA.
Have participated in beta testing of emui 4,5,8,9. Got good experience in reporting bugs in a detailed and proper manner.
Just wrote a long term usage review of honor 10 and would like to do the same for Honor 20 series.
Here is the link for my long term review of honor 10.
https://club.hihonor.com/in/topic/399343/detail.htm

I am someone who loves new tech and keep myself as up to date with the newest gadgets.
I participate actively in helping handset developers fix their issues with detailed instructions on how to replicate issues i come across and use their feedback channels.
Currently I'm most active with Windows and Oneplus, but I use multiple phones for my work. And my second phone could use an upgrade.

Huawei Ascend Mate7

In case you haven't heard, the all new successor to our beloved HAM2 is the Mate7! Whether or not Huawei went through 4 different Mate models that we never knew about, I'll never know. I presume (since many people haven't heard of Huawei) they want the HAM7 to look "one step ahead" of the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy S6.
Here's the official Huawei page for the Mate7, and some pictures.

Anyways, what do you think? Will you be getting this phone?
Seems like the phone is now in the same price range Samsung / HTC flagship phones. So not for me and also there is no mention of a USA version.

I think the biggest updates are the fingerprint sensor and the 1080p resolution. The rest of the specs are somewhat similar to our phone, so hopefully it won't have a huge price bump.
I'm sure a US version will come out eventually. Huawei wanted to come to the US with the HAM2 so it wouldn't make sense to not make this.

Agreed. They are certainly ramping up to compete with the other big guys here. After having the HAM2 I have no reason to believe I'll go back to those others.

anyone know anything about the SoC Hisilicon Kirin 925 4x1.8GHz+4x1.3GHz+1x230MHz
WTF is it besides an octocore......are these chip makers a new company on the scene and if so is there any software that will be compatible with it....other than that a nice iphony look'a'like......

They are Huawei in house chip designers....
My Mate 2 MT2-L05 has a Hisilicon Kirin 910 chip in it which runs everything flawlessly, and if you look in the benchmarking thread, it also appears to be considerably faster than the Qualcomm 400 Snapdragon in the MT2-L03 US version, although until the MT2-L03 runs on 4.4.2 a direct comparison is slightly unfair.
The Mate7 will also be available in a 3GB RAM/32GB configuration.
I find it hard to believe Huawei would release a US version of the AM2, vastly improve it, and then not sell a US version of that successor. I would guess that a US version comes out a month or so after the foreign version is widely available.
I have the AM2. Without knowing what the AM7 would look like, my suggestions would've been:
Improve build quality
Make thinner+more compact
Lighter
Enable double tap to wake/faster way to unlock than antiquated side button
Improve performance+screen quality without sacrificing battery life
They've done all of the items on my list. I'll be trading in my Mate 2 for this baby the second a US compatible model becomes available.

Agreed.
Current phones, Ascend Mate 2, LG G3, LG G2, LG Lucid 3. Tablets, Nexus 7, LG GPad. I like the Ascend Mate 2 the best.
Most of the width and weight seems to be the battery. I changed the DPI to 264 and if not for application issues 240 was perfect screen is bright and clear flexible frame and screen I am more than impressed. Adjustments made and the phone is super snappy. I agree about the button placement though. Other than that really taken with this phone.
A model of the Mate7, MT7-L09 is purported to work with TMO/ATT LTE in the US. The price is higher than the AM2, but it's also a better screen, higher build quality and Android 4.4 out of the box. I'm thinking of giving it a shot.

I would rather go with the new nexus if I was to buy anything else for that price range
Not me. I prefer the significantly better battery life, thinner+more compact frame and microSD slot at $550 vs the Nexus 6 64GB at $750 after taxes.
Wish it had been this price when I bought my HAM2
Mate 7 is still too pricy for me... And doesn't have full network support only 1/2 bands supported so many places in the rural area I live in wouldn't have signal as I found out with my previous phone before the mate 2. I love the full network support and better connectivity with this $300 phone. 550 is still too much in my opinion.

Just want to mention that there is no official US version yet, this is an individual seller, so no warranty, no support, even seller reputation need put into consideration. Of course network/band will be another issue.

Pros over P9 plus:
Handy size 5.1inch screen
curved edge screen/pebble shape
2k screen
front finger scanner with navigation controls
New eye & face scanner/infra red camera for access & privacy
Frame sensor for hand recognition
Fast charging (70% in 20 mins)
(Some contextual aware features which most likely will not work outside China)
New Variant UI that will be developed differently from EMUI, with more youth and innovation centric.
Cons:
Not Leica branded lens and photo processing
No external memory card
Huawei branding (530$ is high for a budget branded "Honor" phone)
P9 plus has larger screen & larger battery
No pressure touch screen (Google has their software alternative though)
No stereo speakers
No changes:
12mp dual camera (not the 20mp of mate 9)
Kirin 950
Amoled Screen
If the magic has the newer Kirin 960 (LPDDR4+UFS2.1 Flash memory + Mali G71MP8) i would have gone for it without a thought. But now its not so easy. The whole front finger print sensor and eye scanner features makes it very tempting for me as when im at my work desk having to put password every time is such a pain. The P9 plus still looks very gorgeous, slim and premium and love it design wise while the Honor magic design looks pretty cool, radical & futurish. Im not a camera guy so not really important for me to have that latest best of the best camera.
Would you take the risk and go for honor Magic now or patient enough to wait another 6-8 months for the p10 which would have the Kirin 960, top notch camera, eye scanner, front finger print and bluetooth 5.0 but with more hefty price tag.

Has fast charging though. If the 2k screen on the 2900mah can last a day with no worrying about, then a 30 minute charge is not a problem for me personally. The p9 plus for me is caught in between as it lasts like 1 and half day and has to be charged every day as well to keep up that other half day.
If fast charging works on the same chipset. It will work also on P9 Plus with the same specs.

Yes you can for sure. All EMUI phones can. We usually use the pre-installed Huawei appstore to download playstore.
Also read this thread here for a general idea of what to expect on software side on a China version phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9-plus/help/to-vie-al10-t3386700
Thanks for the reply, from your experience, do you think there will be a hong kong version of the magic, or even a upgrade version with the 960 chipset to support simultaneous 4G/3G on both sim, just like the current Mate 9, or may be a 128GB version, as i'm not sure how huawei markets their phones, release one now, and a upgrade version afterwards.
Also are most bloatware deletable or allow to be disable on huawei phone.

Very very unlikely they will bring a Kirin 960. Any variant will be just a color and memory variant at max (Even color and memory variant they for now neither confirm nor deny it). If Magic was a hit they would likely bring a big size version of the phone with pumped up specs in 6-8months after release of Huawei P10. I still have no idea why they decided to go for K950 as it is such a weird choice for a 2k screen phone marketed as the future phone. Have to see the performance in hand. The honor 8 had good reviews, so maybe they wanted to continue and feel confident with all their optimizations, and also maybe to not cut down sales of Mate 9.
News sites mention Honor looking for partners like facebook to make Honor magic release in India possible. So might see in HonkKong as well. Although i also feel it could be a bit too late if it was not planned already.
As far as i read, the magic is dual sim and 4g in the sense that you can with software settings switch around which one sim uses 4g while other sim remaims on 2g. So both cannot be on 4g at same time but you can switch between sims by settings.
Yes most bloatware deletable, except for a couple of Huawei apps.

I spoken to a friend who works for Huawei, he hasn't heard about the magic, but did say that it will not be available in Hong Kong for sure, Hong Kong has stopped selling Huawei Honor series for a good few years now, and has concertrated on the P series and Mate, mid range phones like the honor series won't be available, so my only choice is to buy it direct from china, hopefully they do sell them locally from a authorized store, as I don't buy phones through online, although I do know you can get the magic from 4 huawei authorised online site. So once I get to see this phone in person I will get it on the 9th of next month.

Yes It might be on stores but from resellers with price inflated by 300-500 CNY im guessing. The most preferred option for you might be if you have a friend in China who can order it online and you can collect it since you will visit China anyway.
I ordered one early from Aliexpress re sellers at 642$ (21% increase from original price which is high and won't recommend for everyone) as a preorder with a basic non-quick 3 week shipping. The resellers on Aliexpress have now inflated the price to ridiculous 750 to 900$. I will get my phone from the 1st batch which they are only receiving in past couple days. The second batch is being sold online on 1st of January i think.
There is a dedicated forum here now btw: http://forum.xda-developers.com/magic

Looks like it will go straight to 8.1

.
That could be a game changer if it was announced at the start. But, everyone knows they will give people 1 major and maybe 2 security update then, they keep promising for next major update as they did at G4 but that next major version will never come out globally. I see this news as "meh".
Plus, "LG Electronics USA, Inc. today announced that the LG V30 and LG G6 premium smartphones available in the United States will earn "Android Enterprise Recommended" approval in a new Google-led program, following an upgrade to Android 8.1."
Can we assume it will stay as a local feature and will never go global?
I think it's global since they came out with this in Poland too.

I don't know whether or not this would apply to the United States too, but LG Canada says March 2 - 9 for the Oreo update.

So according to the program we all should known the truth around 5th of April.( or earlier)
One requisit is to have adt least one unlockeable version, so the usa unlocked version and european h870 are likely to enter for sure to this program.
The program means also that security updates are issued each at most 90 days.

Just kidding, I wish this stuff was 100% true. We will see. Fingers crossed.
Let's see then, I sure hope for a timely and bug free (hello samsung) update to 8.0.

I'm a little bit skeptical about the reality of this. Right now it's good publicity for the phones without them having to actually do anything. The G6 is almost a year old and if it never gets beyond 8.0 or even if it gets dropped from the list after 6 months because of not complying with some part of it, no big deal for them because it's late in the phone's lifecycle anyway.
If it bumps up sales enough that they will show it some more update love, great. But the G6 faces the same uphill battle in the enterprise as they do with the consumer and I don't think there's any compelling reason a big enterprise would choose it over the latest Samsung or iphone (smaller companies might choose it based on cost).

I am sure Google had some chat with LG on the matter before including G6 on the list. I am also sure that LG cares about bothering Google with some cheap tricks. It's not that LG cares about you or me but they surely care about Google. I also hope that Google doens't just do free false advertising in LG behalf, they are a bit cleverer than this. The relationship LG-Google is not about G6 being late in it's lifecycle but about all the next phones. After all Google "guarantees" for LG in front of a lot of very serious clients (businesses). That's rather big deal.
it's sad how LG went from being the fastest to update their phones to now one of the slowest. I remember getting Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Nougat so quickly on the G4, G5, and V10. Now LG is slower than Samsung, which is the worst/slowest updater. Samsung re-released Oreo for the S8 in Europe. Oreo was released 6 months ago (August 21, 2017). Google will announce Android P before we get Oreo on the G6. I guess LG's restructuring of the cell phone department deprioritized OS updates in addition to annual device releases.

Today (21 feb) Google has launched a new program called Android Enterprise Recommended. It's a way for businesses to easily choose Android devices to deploy for their employees. To be Android Enterprise Recommended, a handset has to adhere to a strict set of rules.
It must run Android 7.0 Nougat or later, offer zero-touch enrollment with bulk deployment to employees, get the latest security patches within 90 days of their release for a minimum of three years, be available unlocked, and offer a consistent app experience in managed profiles and on managed devices.
Furthermore, it must come with a minimum of 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, a 1.4 GHz processor, 8+ hours of active battery life, a 10 MP main camera and 2 MP selfie shooter, and be updated to at least one major new Android version.
To start things off, the Android Enterprise Recommended list of devices comprises the following: Google's Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL; the BlackBerry Keyone and Motion; Huawei's Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P10, P10 Plus, P10 Lite, and P smart; LG's V30 and G6; the Moto X4 and Z2; the Nokia 8; Sony's Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, XZ Premium, XA2, and XA2 Ultra.
As you can see, it's not all flagships, there are a few mid-rangers for eager enterprises to choose from too. More phones should be added to the list in the coming weeks and months. Google says that by the end of the year it will also apply the Android Enterprise Recommended framework to OEMs of dedicated and rugged devices, mobile carriers, enterprise mobility management providers, and systems integrators.
The company is probably hoping to entice device makers with this program to adhere to its rules and thus be featured on the brand new Android Enterprise Recommended website, something that will hopefully lead to more sales of those models.

Question LineageOS development

Now that MPK99 retired from LineageOS development for the RM Note 10, the question is if anybody else is able to continue what he has been developing so far?
The demand for LineageOS is definitely there, because no other ROM is that much privacy oriented and the discontinued ROM Is leaving a big gap for this Phone.
For the long term an official LOS is what would be the best for the phone.

rumor there are someone to continues developing a LOS ,
+1 for LineageOS. All these no name roms currently being developed comes with high risk. LineageOS is well known and I'd prefer it over others.
Unless Lineage OS is official, it is on par with all other custom ROMs. There is no difference in risk here.
A halt in development would also mean a partial halt in the development of all Lineage OS-based ROMs.
Our phone is significantly widespread and would definitely deserve an official Lineage OS.
I'm dying to flash a custom ROM on my device, however, I'd rather wait either for TWRP to at least get an official update to deal with Android 11 quirks, or for LineageOS to get the official status, whichever comes first
Merry Xmas everyone!
it's been quite some time since the last post here. unfortunately there haven't been any news about lineageos for the redmi note 10 anywhere. it almost seems like the lineage community has abandoned this phone.
As time passes by, the current versions are getting outdated and become a security risk for it's users.
This leaves us with only two options in the long term: sell the phone and buy one with more lineage options, or upgrade to one of the thousand lookalike other ROMs with less privacy options. both options aren't ideal imho.
I still haven't lost all hope for this phone, though, now that there is an official version of TWRP (https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomiredminote10.html), there might be someone behind the scenes working on an official LineageOS as well.
Is there any standard way to get the Lineage OS team to start working on an official version for our phone (such as the amount of inquiries from phone users on their site)?
I'd love to have Lineage OS, but it seems devs are more interested in "noname" roms. idk why tho

unfortunately not.
it's the community here that has to build the LOS rom, it's only going official when there are certain standards met and it's getting continuously maintained.
see here: https://wiki.lineageos.org/device_requests
i might be wrong, but so far, there have only ever been 2 or 3 people working on and releasing a LineageOS ROM for this phone.
Development continues in the form of ROMs based on Lineage OS. It's just not a pure form of that system. The fact that it is the basis for other ROMs that are maintained here could also be the impetus for separate development and updates.
By Lineage OS:
Perhaps the only somewhat reliable indicator of whether a device may be officially supported is when a developer’s hard work in bringing-up a device is forked over to github.com/LineageOS. Notice, this is after a developer (or regular Joe, see below) puts in the time and effort to get LineageOS running reliably. There’s still no guarantee of official support at this point; the device needs to meet a number of quality control checklist items and the developer needs to agree to maintain the device over time. But, there’s at least a decent chance.
Hi! i just built latest LineageOS 18.1 for our device ... i'm planning to release once i'm sure that aren't major issues on the ROM

it's just that obviously there are not enough people having this phone. And amongst them not enough that are capable (having knowledge AND time) of building and configuring the ROM.

I don't share your conviction. Few phones have had such a tumultuous custom ROM evolution in their early days as ours. To date, the Pixel Experience Plus has been downloaded from the internet roughly 4300 times.

well yes and no, it depends, I was thinking esp. of the LOS ROM development on this phone, not general aosp/pixel-like rom development.
yet, f.i. compared to a Poco X3 NFC this is ALL just peanuts... -> much more phones of the poco x3 were sold, it has a much greater user and developer base, and hence much more ROMs came out and amongst them also an official LOS ROM.
While I dislike complaining about the lack of contributors volunteering their hours for free, I got say it's been a little frustrating seeing dozens of roms being ported to our device, but still no LineageOS.
Is there any explanation for this? From my previous experiences with Custom ROMs, LineageOS was the the most famous one, and devs would jump at the opportunity the officially bring it to a new device, rather than choosing other custom ROMs.
I consider Lineage OS to be the best basic OS. However, ordinary users are calling more for extended systems, so the base system itself doesn't appeal to them much. The basic system is more suitable for us who can customize it to our own requirements, and the extended systems have unnecessary features for us. There used to be fewer extended systems and therefore more demand for the basic ones.
The Poco X3 NFC was unveiled on Monday, September 7, 2020.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 was unveiled on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
The initial selling price of the POCO was double that of the RM10. There must also be a difference in the number of units sold for comparable goods for different sales period. I think comparing these devices is not relevant.
Among comparable devices in terms of price and hardware, the RM10 is unrivalled in developer support. Thank them for their work.
Lineage OS as the default system for many other ROMs, however, deserves more attention on its own. If it is in top form, the other extended systems will be better off as well.

by the time I bought the RM10 (about summer 2021) the poco x3 nfc and the RM10 were about the same price in the local stores over here (like 160€ vs 180€). That's almost about the same price and I took that as reference, not the initial price.
well now, it's passed almost half a year now and unfortunately I still don't see any lineageOS development going on over here. I'm still wondering why there is so much AOSP development going on on this phone, whilst a privacy oriented ROM like lineageOS seems to be completely ignored. Where are the privacy focused people on this phone? It seems like nobody uses this phone that also cares about these matters.
However, I did some searching and I found something like a forked and continued LineageOS ROM on 4pda. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with russian language and I can't figure out if anything from there is something like a trustworthy source.
I really don't understand how the hell the device has an active community with a bunch of Roms, but no LineageOS, not even unofficial. It's only AOSP/Pixel and ROMs based on LineageOS.
Based on my previous experience, devs would jump on the opportunity to port LineageOS, so it just baffles me it is taking this long.
i would be happy to build LineageOS for you but i don't have server at the moment and my pc is a dual-core one

Axon 40 Ultra

Since there's no thread for the Axon 40 ultra yet at the time of posting, so I'll post my query here.
The Axon 40 ultra which was just released recently has the specifications that matches my needs...
> Primary 64MP cam with a large 1/1.3" sensor and excellent low light capability with an aperture size of f/1.6. Xiaomi barely goes below f/1.8 even in their high end phones like the 11 Ultra, and the 12 Ultra will definitely not add that large aperture. Gcam with this main camera would kill the competition in low light
> Front facing camera which is under display. It may not be that impressive, but at least I have the full status bar to myself. Had the Zenfone 6 earlier, and the Zenfone 8 doesn't impress me, so I skipped it.
> 5000mah battery with 80w charging. Currently only a handful of phones have this charging speed with 5000mah battery. Most of the phones have 4500mah batteries with 120 or 150w charging which is useless as what they should be doing is adding 10000mah batteries with those charging speeds.
The other specs with a less importance includes 512GB with USB C 3.1 which will enable speedy transfers to the PC, 144Hz display, 6.8 inches large display size (I would prefer 7 inches too these days with 20:9 or even 21:9 aspect ratio). I'm also expecting a speedy 5G modem which supports between 3 to 5Gbps download speeds and aren't mentioned on GSMArena.
So my question is... Will there be any good Custom ROM development on this phone? From what we can see, there's not a single Custom ROM for the Axon 30 Ultra, and it was launched in April last year. I wonder if it's due to unimpressive specs, or that no developer is interested in these phones.
This phone has great potential due to the impressive spec sheet. It would be a shame if there's no development on it.

There's a lot of reasons why devs are not making roms for ZTE phones. Thing is with ZTE phones are they're not popular. They're not easy to purchase(well for their flagships, their low end phones are everywhere though) alleged Chinese security things that has been reported, I think they're still blacklisted in the US just like Huawei, I think. Their marketing sucks hence nobody has interest in their phones even if they have great specs. I think they're not even popular in China. Lastly, potential devs doesn't have nor plans to buy their phones, that's why nobody is making any roms for their phones. Now there are solutions for that. You can make your own rom for the phone or if you know a dev and he's willing to make a rom as long as you buy him that particular ZTE phone, because I doubt he's gonna buy a phone that doesn't interest him.
That's why before I buy a phone, I make sure to research first if the phone has lots of devs making tons of roms for that particular phone, so that I can be assured that my phone can last a long time.
Btw. Somebody already tried to make a gofundme and willing to pay a dev to make a lineageOS port for the Axon 30 and nobody replied. That just shows you that ZTE phones are not that popular and even if somebody was willing to pay, nobody is touching it.

Sorry I'm late. Yes it's a shame that ZTE stopped bootloader unlocking for their Axon phones. The phone would've been great had they allowed it.
Fortunately, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus has an unlockable bootloader, and I'm hoping the X80 Pro Plus gets the same too. The X80 pro already has some great features and the Pro Plus which will probably be released with Snapdragon 8+G1 and possibly a larger battery, say 5000 mah with the same 80w charging.
Vivo barely allows bootloader unlocking for their previous phones. I hope they allow bootloader unlocking by default for their new high end phones.

Hello,
I dont really know where to begin here so, hopefully someone on here can help. I have the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, the Chinese version. I flashed android 13 beta 1 on the phone but, it has no google apps on it at all. I downloaded google play services apk, Google Play store and Gmail. None of them seem to work and it sounds like it all has to do with play services. Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
How to make applications ignore the under-screen camera. The screen in games constantly shifts below the under-screen camera area. In the developer options in the zte axon 40 ultra, I did not find such an option to fix this. Maybe someone knows how to help me?
Damn, its 21 june already and only 6 post about 40U, looks like its kinda hopless to wait any root solution. Since then ZTE started giving zer0 f..k about community? I had Nubia Z11 there was a lot of people around that time, now its desert.
I will get my Axon 40 Ultra tomorrow. Is there anyone else with this wonderful phone?
